At least more than half of students in the school got in trouble. Most of them were for bullying, the other's for condoning in the act, (so for having sex with Zoro on school grounds) then there were the ones who first rapped Zoro. Smoker and both Zoro's sisters came to school. Not only did they arrest almost all of Zoro's rappers the first time ( Brandon is still not at school but the other ones graduated so they were going to get him after) but they also got the recent ones from the night before. It seems they tracked them down and them showing up might have all been a coincidence. They were going to be here anyway.
Turns out that they were kind of ordered by someone to do it. She was upset after learning that her boyfriend had cheated on her with Zoro, thinking that it was Zoro who initiated it, like everyone else did, so she payed them to follow him and do what they did.
It made the front page and into the news. The reporters were just speculating on what was going on but didn't get it at all. It gave the school an even worse image but Sengoku promised to talk about what really happened after the school day ends.
Nami sat at her desk, the rest of the class either sent home or are still talking to teachers. She looked over at the desk next to her, on the left. Zoro's empty desk. With writing all over it. Pretty sure some words were carved into it. She reached into the pocket of her skirt and took out a wooden stick, engraved with 'winner' on the side. She has a winning Popsicle stick but it wasn't hers.
While she and the others were coming out of a dinner they walked in silence. Their group not the same without the green haired sleeper and the blonde, curly browed ladies man. It was now always silent. Luffy wasn't being obnoxious, Usopp wasn't telling stories, Robin was taking too long on finishing her book. They know it's not Zoro's fault, he was the victim. He needed help so why didn't he ask for it? Did he not trust them? Were they not really his friends?
Anyway, they were walking down the street in silence when Chopper saw his friend, Zoro. He really loves Zoro, with the way Zoro praised him and ruffled his hair with a smile on his face, complimenting Chopper on what he did. "It's Zoro!" He shouts happily but shocked, not loud enough to be heard by said man but loud enough for everyone around them to hear. The others looked at where he's pointing to to see Zoro with a bag in his hand. He looked like he was excited to go somewhere but then he gets pulled into an ally. They ran to see what happened and saw that he was being held from the back by one guy and his legs were being held up by another. The bag Zoro had discarded on the floor. Zoro's mouth was covered and he was struggling. Trying to break free. They were right there so it was easy to see them but they did have caps on so their face wasn't clear. When they saw that not only the strawhats were looking but some bystanders too, they freaked and dropped Zoro on the floor then ran. Zoro had one or two bruises and just got one on the his arm that he landed on.
Zoro slowly got up and looked up to see that they were still there. Zoro couldn't look them in the eye. He gave them the bag of things and said "thanks," in a low voice. It didn't sound like Zoro, they have never heard him sound like that but as soon as Nami got a hold of the bag Zoro bolted away. Running from them, again something Zoro never did.
As they walked they started looking at what's in the bag. There were a lot of snacks. Cakes, chips, candy and Popsicles. Nami got the popsicle. Chopper got the cake, since he saw that it was the really expensive brand so he never tried it before but it looks really good. The rest was divided with the others, Robin getting the other cake, the boys sharing the chips and candy. Now they were wondering why Zoro had so many sweet things, they all knew he didn't like it, what they don't know is that he got them for his sister Perona who does. She was going to check on him the next day so he thought he should prepare for her arrival by buying one of her favorite cakes.
Nami was obviously shocked when she saw that she won, almost threw the stick out but she hasn't cashed it in. Doesn't know if she will. The game having just started so the expiration date is far from close. She wanted to thank him for giving her the winning prize even though she knew it really belonged to Zoro, the prize money but she doesn't want to give it up. She does wants to talk to Zoro, they all do. They all want to talk to the man again but one, he doesn't come to school again and two, they don't know where he lives. When they ask the teachers they tell them that they can't reveal that type of information but then two seconds later tell another student a classmates address for missing work. When Nami, Robin and Usopp lie about wanting to give Zoro his missing assignment the teacher calls them on out it. Saying that there was already a student doing that and that they couldn't tell them classified information to random people, even students who have no business knowing.
Classified information? Who was Zoro? A politician? He's just a regular student. With a seemingly normal family. He had one brother and two sisters with a very scary dad. Then Nami asked how the student who was giving Zoro his assignment knew where he lived where the teachers answered that the student already knew because he didn't ask.
That right there told Nami who it is. Sanji.
Sanji had told them that he checks on Zoro at his home after school during his two week suspension.
That caused a different problem. They weren't talking to Sanji either. And if they wanted to talk to Zoro they had to talk to Sanji. Ironically with how much they hate each other.
They weren't ready to talk to him. He also didn't tell them. Nami and Robin had asked him why they had a fight, why they stopped talking and he lied to them. Zoro never lied he just kept it a secret but Sanji full on lied to them, right in their face. Nami took a discreet look at Sanji sitting at his desk doing some work but stopping now and then to look at his phone with a smile. Luffy and Usopp were goofing off, since the rest of the class was in trouble or getting talked to but they also didn't really need to do work. And she knew Sanji wasn't getting text because he wasn't typing back. He would just read his phone and smile, a really loving and caring smile. It was weird but she felt hurt that he was moving on, probably found new friends. Integrating more with the other's from his club.
