After Bonney kidnapped him he thought about just talking to Zoro about it on the weekend. But he couldn't do it.
He and Zoro were having so much fun that he forgot, then when he went home he felt Bonney breathing down his neck. He had agreed to do it so what would happen if he didn't?
Would the Baratie be in trouble?
He hoped the fuck not. So Sunday night he lay in bed, already have taken his shower, his alarm is set, his uniform is hanging and clean. He's set for the school week. He had thought about what to do since he got home. And so he thought up plan after plan but none of them would have worked. So he dumped all his plans, he'll go straight for it.
Sanji opened his eyes. Groggily he sat up and turned his alarm off. He wanted more sleep but... he snapped his eyes open. He remembered. He got ready, brushed his teeth, made a small breakfast and made himself a bento box, two for both him and Zoro. He knew that the one Zoro always used broke when it went out the window. It's the one his mom got for him when he was a little boy. It's not the same but he hopes Zoro would be happy and will eat his lunch.
After that's done, he puts them in his school messenger bag. He leaves a note for Zeff, to make sure he knows that he left early for school and that he already ate.
He walked at first then ran after a while. It was too early for anyone to be up which is what he wanted. He headed straight for Zoro's.
He did feel weird about going into Zoro's house while he was still asleep. It felt weird but he wasn't going to back down. He took his shoes off before continuing. He set his messenger bag on the kitchen table and took out the packed breakfast he made for Zoro. He set that out and went to Zoro room.
Sanji smiled at Zoro, he slept so peacefully.
... but not for long. "ZORO! Wake up!" Sanji pulled on the covers on Zoro. The mosshead only grumbled something incoherent. Sanji's eyes opened wider, Zoro lay there on his side in the fetal position hugging a pillow. He let out a cute sneeze, he reached forward trying to find his blanket.
Not finding where it should be Zoro wakes up slowly, seeing a figure in front of his bed. He wakes up fully to that. "Curly?!" Zoro sits up on his bed. "What are you doing here so early in the morning?" Zoro rubs his eyes, sleep still on his mind.
"Get ready. We're going to school." Sanji says. Zoro looks at Sanji, his body trembling obviously. Zoro shakes his head. Sanji sighs, he knows, it's hard but Sanji doesn't have a choice. For the Baratie. "Sorry but your going to school even if it kills me!" Sanji yells, he grabs Zoro and pulls him off the bed. "Take a shower. I'll reheat breakfast for us."
"I'm not going." Zoro holds himself in the door frame.
"Well to bad." Sanji tries pushing Zoro out the room. It's not working though. "I know it's going to be hard but I'll be there too. For you." Sanji says. Zoro lets go as Sanji pushes again making them fall over into the hallway. Sanji and Zoro shake their small wounds off. Sanji turns to see Zoro trying to crawl back into his room. Sanji pounces at Zoro. "Can you please try for me?" Sanji says. The blonde aspiring chef flips the mosshead over on his back, pinning his hands above his head. "Please? For me." Sanji pleads this time. Zoro looks at Sanji, actually able to see both eyes from this angle. He looked really desperate.
He did say that he talked to Bonney. She's the craziest out off all four of them so he knows she did some crazy shit to Sanji. It must have really been bad cause he looks scared. He nods. "F-fine. If you're with me." Zoro's voice wavers. The blonde gives a relief sigh. The Baratie is safe for now.
"Thank you." Sanji lowers his head to give Zoro a kiss, quick but still sweet. He lets go of Zoro and he gets a few things before heading to the washroom.
Sanji goes down and reheats the breakfast he made and brought over. He set the plates down with juice. He looks up to yell that the food is done but is shocked by the scene he's presented with, a Zoro wearing a green sweater vest, tie on, dress shirt button up till the second to last button, his still a little wet hair but down giving the mosshead some bangs, he even had a watch on. He looked more clean, before he dressed sloppily. His button up cardigan on with his dress shirt not buttoned all the way, he never wore his tie and didn't even know he owned a watch, a very expensive and nice looking watch. He look like a serious senior student, not like a slob like he did before. Besides his green hair, he look like a model student.
They sit down to enjoy their meal.
"You're staring." Zoro says after a while, still a little glum but knowing the blonde will be there for him made it a little better. He looked up at the blonde making eye contact.
"Sorry, it's just... what happened to your cardigan? Why are you dressed so... neatly." Sanji says looking for the right word.
"My cardigan got stained with lube. I couldn't wash it off, neither could the dry cleaners. And I only dressed how I felt like I should have." Zoro explains, the blonde didn't like it. He dressed like felt he should? What the hell? That pissed him off but... looking at him now, he's like a different person.
"Your hair is also still wet." Sanji points out.
"It's not. I fully dried it." Zoro says looking away.
"Really? It still looks wet. Are you sure?" the blonde looks at the mosshead uncertain. Sanji knows for a fact that Zoro's hair is spiky.
"Do you want to feel it yourself?" Zoro says with what seems to be a frown but looks more like a pout. Sanji nods. Zoro stands up and leans over the table to Sanji. Sanji raises his hand, he feels Zoro's green hair.
HOLY FUCK! Not only is his hair soft but he's right, it is dry. But his soft hair, it's like feeling the softest blanket. "But your hair is always brushed back?" Remembering this morning, when he woke up his hair is like it always is.
"I push it back and it stays like that till I take a shower," Zoro sits back down. How convenient. Sanji's hair is the opposite. His hair always seem to have a mind of its own. If he doesn't manage it it'll curl, which he doesn't like. Sometimes he's tempted to just shave it all but he didn't need to give Zoro something else to make fun of.
"So... it's naturally like that?" Zoro nods.
After breakfast Sanji follows Zoro up to his room. Zoro goes to his closet and looks through it. Sanji wondered at first but then he saw Zoro's school bag sitting on the chair to his desk and understood why. It was stained heavily with lube. And this is his bag, he couldn't imagine his cardigan. It must have looked worse. Those things are a pain in the ass to replace.
Zoro found a backpack and put his thinks inside. Sanji remembered that backpack from their middle school days. It was easier to run with a backpack on than a school bag.
Sanji and Zoro made sure all the windows were locked and everything that needed to be turned off is in fact off. After they made sure of that, they put on their shoes. Sanji waits for Zoro to leave first, locking the door behind him.
