Zeff looks over at the clock. It's way past time school is over, even clubs are over but he doesn't know if the young blonde is home or not. He could be out with Zoro and friends, he doesn't know. He goes over to his office to wait for his son to come back from school as he sat down at his desk in front of his computer. With another look at the clock he looks back at his computer as he turns it on.

He knows it's weird and a little paranoid but he clicks over to the search bar and types in the school name. Clicking on the link to go to the schools website. He just wants to make sure he's got the time right. He knows it might be late to be acting like an adult, a parent, he knows that he hasn't been the perfect role model. He hasn't raised Sanji like a normal child but he has raised the boy. Not once has he acted like the boy's parent, just a guardian. Even though they don't act like it, they have just gotten use to living with each other, working with each other. If he has to blame anyone then he has to blame himself for not being more open and talk with the young man more to understand him, and he thought he knew the blonde but this has taught him be doesn't.

Zeff pauses as he stares at the screen in front of him. What he read can't be true, can it? It can't be. He read the large notice letting everyone know that there are no after school activities. So what does Sanji do after school? What is going on? Why are the club activities canceled? Of course he clicks on the link to learn more.

It didn't go to in depth about what happened, no names are written in, no pictures, just a general article to justify to all the parents and guardian on why clubs are canceled. It talk about how a student had gotten bullied, and cyber bullied and injured off school grounds and how the bullies did something bad enough to have been arrested. Along with an arrest on school grounds for attacking the same student on school grounds with a lot of witnesses. It all sounded very serious and horrible. But thinking about it now it lines up with Sanji. Those days were a student was attacked, the late school night Sanji called about his friend being attacked. How after that night the young blonde got very happy.

Was the student Zoro?

It is not shocking that Sanji didn't tell him about what happen at school. Or anything that went on in his life, out of school. To think so much has happened. And he didn't know.

"Zeff, you are waiting for Sanji right? I just saw him walk across the front of the restaurant. I think he went up." one of the waiters says with his head poking in.

"Thanks." Zeff says turning the computer off then stands up. Walking around his desk to the door. He orders everyone to get to work and that he'll be right back. Every one focus at what they are doing at their station more than normal, not wanting to get yelled at by Zeff.

Zeff slowly walks to the young mans room. The whole day he was waiting for blonde to come home he didn't actually think about what to say to the man, how to start the conversation, how to start the talk. Now, as he got closer to the bedroom he thought about what to say, try to talk as natural as he can. He didn't know how to do that. But he's got to try, he wants the blonde to be happy and comfortable.

"Yeah, he said he was busy." Sanji says, Zeff pauses. He must be on the phone, but with who? Boyfriend or friend. "If I were to guess his family. They have really been in his life recently." the blonde says as he lay on his bed. He just got home but already changed into some casual clothes. Zeff saw him smile as he play with a very big stuffed tiger. Sanji gently smoothed down it's fur, with a fond smile on his face as he held his phone to his ear. "Of course I want to be with him but he hasn't been with his family in a long time. Plus we are graduating soon so he won't be able to be with his family like this soon." Sanji says, the conversation not making sense to Zeff. "So far nothing, plus Zoro could handle his own. There's nothing to worry about, who ever that guy was isn't going to get to Zoro." even just talking about Zoro is making him happy. "If he's not busy. See you tomorrow." Sanji ends the call and sets his phone down.

He lets out a sigh. He thought he and Zoro could go on an after school date but his sister came to pick him up for something. Instead he spent some time with the guys then came home. It's not like he can get Zoro to forget his family and spent more time with him. They are dating, it's not the end of the world. Sanji rests his head on the round stomach of the stuffed tiger letting out a loud groan. He really likes Zoro, he has never felt this way, felt this attached to any one he's dated in the past.

Sanji jumps in his skin lifting his body at the sound of a knock on the door, he sees Zeff walking into his room. Sanji gets up, "need help?" the blonde asks as he reaches his closet for a suit to change so he can go down and help.

"No, I came to talk to you." Zeff shakes his head as he sits down at the young blonde's desk. Sanji goes back to sit down on his bed slowly. This is different, seems more serious, what is going on? Did something happen? To the restaurant? To him?

"About what?" Sanji asks worried about his adopted father.

Zeff takes a deep breath, he's just going to go for it. It's best to be upfront than beat around the bush. "I saw you, but I want to hear it from you. Are you and Zoro dating?"
