When Renji revealed the truth about the tournament and Promin Academy, Yukin blamed him for what happened to his friends and so many others. Hoping to avenge them, Yukin takes on Renji, but now it's wavering because Renji reveals that Zoey might still be safe. The duel went on with Yukin's life points at 1600 and having Sapphire Serapho. Renji's field was empty, but had 2200LP.
"Zoey is still safe?" Yukin said.
"That's right. She was never turned into a card, but we can talk about that when we're done. I believe it's my turn now." Renji said as he drew his next card. "Dimensional Vixen has a second ability. I can summon her from my graveyard with one level four or lower Dimensional monster. I'm summoning out Dimensional Vixen and Nure-Onna!" He summoned out both his monsters with Dimensional Vixen having 1300atk points and Nure-Onna having 1200. "I now activate Portal of Fusion! I will take 1000 points of damage on my next turn, but I am able to fusion summon now. I fuse Dimensional Vixen with Nure-Onna!"
"Here we go." Yukin said as he readied himself for what's coming.
"With the power to have the heavens strike with a call, all who oppose this warrior shall fall! I fusion summon Dimensional Thunder Warrior Morholt!" He summoned out a knight in blue armor with a beetle-like horn on his head with electricity produced out of him and had a total of 2500LP.
"Another Dimensional Warrior? Don't you have enough of those guy?" Yukin complained.
"We're going to need all the help we can get if we're going to defeat Promin Academy. By joining me, we will battle like the mighty knights." Renji said. "We will fight until this evil is vanquished, but that can't happen if you don't trust me, Yukin."
"How do you expect me to trust you when all you've done is lie and deceive us?!" Yukin said.
"All part of strategy. Letting your emotions get the better of you cloud your judgement. Some sacrifices must be made." Renji said. "If you don't have the strength to do what must be done, no matter how much you don't like it, you can't hope to win against this enemy. I activate Morholt's ability! None of your monsters will be destroyed this turn, but he can lower their attack points by 500! Go, Electronic Discharge!" Morholt unleashed electricity and zapped Serapho with it as his attack points dropping to 2000. "Now, attack Sapphire Serapho with Thunder Double Slash!" Morholt formed a pair of twin swords made out of lightning. He went at Serapho and slashed against him. The force and power of the attack knocked Yukin back with his life points dropping to 1100.
"Yukin!" Drewsin called. Yukin was knocked around and took some heavy damage.
"Is that really all you got, Yukin? I was expecting more out of you." Renji said. "Do you think you can defeat Promin academy alone? Do you think you're way can save Zoey and all of them? I'm afraid it just can't, Yukin. Are you a duelist, or are you really just a fool who ends up being a failure?"
"That's enough, Renji!" Siegrain called as he wasn't going to listen trash his friend like that anymore.
"Yukin!" Lana called as the two of them hurried to him.
"Stay back!" Yukin called as he was getting back up. "I can handle this."
"Yukin..." Siegrain said as he was hoping Yukin would be fine in the end.
"I place one card facedown to end my turn." Renji said.
"Listen, I know this isn't the best time, but I need to know." Siri said as she was speaking with Shun. "Is it all true? Did Promin Academy really attack your city? Were people really turned into cards?"
"I'm afraid that it is." Drewsin answered for Shun. "You really appear to be ignorant of what has really been going on. Your school attacked our city without warning. Our entire city became a battlefield in almost no time. Your people were relentless. Even now, our home is struggling to survive." Siri couldn't believe this. Everything she knows is really a lie. She's been lied to this whole time thinking they were fighting for peace, but it was all about domination.
"What's more is that my little sister was taken prisoner." Shun said. "She looks just like you. That's why looking at you, knowing you're from Promin Academy, makes me sick." He glared right at her when he said that. Shun's hatred for Promin Academy runs deep. Now that Siri knows the truth, she knows what she's going to do.
"Well, Yukin? Are you finished already?" Renji questioned.
"Not even close." Yukin said. "You think you know it all. You said that all of this was needed to be done; sacrifices must be made. We're nothing but pawns to you, are we, Renji? Well, I'm not putting up with it. I'm ending this right now!" Yukin drew his next card and it was one that could help him. "I'm summoning out Ace Witch to the field!" He summoned out a cute witch to the field that wore a blue dress and hat with blonde hair in pigtails and had a staff with an ace of spades on it. She also had 400atk points. "I now activate her special ability! She allows me to take one spell card from my deck!" He pulled out a card from his deck and it was just what he needed. "I now activate Variation! I can now summon any monster from my hand as long as each one I summon is a different attribute!"
"Here it comes. Yukin's got something big going." Siegrain said.
"I'm now summoning these three monsters! Fire attribute: Flame Leon, water attribute: Abyss Kraken, and wind attribute: Steel Eagle!" Yukin said. He summoned out his three monsters with them having 1000, 2000, and 1200atk points. "You're finished, Renji! I now combine the forces of light with the forces of fire! Come together as one!" Fire swarmed around his lion and light formed around his witch. The two of them came together and formed a new monster. I elemental summon a star attribute! I summon Rune Ramero!" He summoned out Ramero with him having 2900atk points.
"That's the monster he used when we dueled! He played that for me!" Lana said as she was getting all giddy.
"I doubt that." Siegrain said.
"I'm not done! I now combine the forces of water with the forces of wind! Come together as one!" Yukin said as water came around his kraken and wind came around his eagle with the two of them coming together as well. "I elemental summon a storm attribute! I summon Storm Sterogin!" He summoned out Storm Sterogin as well with him having 2900atk points as well.
"Awesome because when Storm Sterogin is summoned, the opponent loses half of their life points." Siegrain said. Storm Sterogin unleashed a powerful blast of wind and blasted Renji with it as his life points dropped to 1100. "Sterogin has a couple other abilities that will deal even more damage. This duel is just about over."
"He's right! It's over Renji! Storm Sterogin, attack Thunder Warrior Morholt and end this!" Yukin said. Sterogin unleashed a powerful blast of lightning and destroyed Morholt. That caused Renji's life points to drop to 700. They thought this duel was over, but they saw Vixen and Nure-Onna came back.
"Where'd those two come from?!" Sylvester said.
"It's all thanks to my trap: Portals of Separation. When you destroy a monster from my extra deck, this trap sends it back there instead of my graveyard. Which means that Storm Sterogin's abilities are now useless. What's more is that if the monsters used to summon him are in my graveyard, they come back, but with no power." He spoke the truth as both of them were in defense mode and had zero defense points.
"I'll just have Sapphire Serapho and Rune Ramero take them out!" Yukin ordered. Both of his monsters attacked and was able to destroy both monsters. "It's over, Renji! Now that it's the end of my turn, you take damage from your own portal card!"
"Do I? Think again." Renji said. "Portals of Separation has one other effect. Any effect damage I would have taken from my own cards is moved forward by one turn. That means that I won't take any damage this turn."
"I should have known you would find a way around that." Yukin said with irritation.
"Yes. You should have made sure to finish me. You'll end up paying for that mistake." Renji said as he drew his next card. "First, I'm summoning Dimensional Lamia to the field!" He summoned out another serpent girl with her attack points at 1200. "Next, since I just summoned a dimensional monster, I can summon Dimensional Sphinx by lowering it's attack points!" He summoned out his living blue sphinx with it having 2200atk points, but it dropped to 1500. "Now, I combine the forces of earth with the forces of water!" Water swirled around his lamia while rocks swirled around his sphinx. The two of them came together and formed a new monster. "I elemental summon a wood attribute! I summon Dimensional Jungle Warrior Caradoc!" Renji summoned out a new elemental monster. It wore green armor with a crown, but it also sat in a throne with energy coiled around it like vines with flowers blooming off it. It also had 3000atk points.
"Another new elemental monster!" Siegrain said.
"And it sure doesn't look friendly." Klaus said.
"Don't expect him to vanish from the field like Lancelot did. I fixed that issue, but you have bigger ones!" Renji said. "Caradoc can drain 500atk points out your monsters!" Caradoc had vines come out of his throne with them wrapping around all of Yukin's monsters and their power was being drained. "What's more is that he can attack all the monsters he drained power out of."
"All of them?!" Yukin said as that could only lead to one result.
"Caradoc, attack with Jungle Enforcement!" Renji said. Caradoc attacked with his vines that bloomed into giant flowers. They smashed into all three of them and destroyed them. Yukin was knocked back by the attack and ended up falling down the stairs as his life points dropped to zero.
"Yukin! Sweetie!" Lana called as she and Siegrain hurried to him. Yukin sought to avenge those who have fallen and he failed. Does this mean that Renji was right?"
"I hope you got all of it out of your system." Renji said as he stood over Yukin like the superior warrior. "The only way you can save your friends is if we fight together. The choice is yours if you wish to see them again." Renji left it at that. In the end, it doesn't matter who was right or wrong. Yukin needs to decide if he can really fight alongside Renji to stop this Promin Academy.
