In an exhibition match, Yukin was suppose to face Jordan Raves in a duel for the All Grand Prix. Unfortunately, Yukin lost the duel and was blown off the duel runner. He hit the ground from the impact of Jordan's attack and there's a chance he could be seriously hurt.

"It's all over! Yukin lost and our champion still holds his winning streak!" Marcy said. A lot of people were laughing at him because he lost.

"What a loser."

"I thought that elemental summoning was suppose to be something impressive. This guy is a joke."

"Why on earth did they even choose him? They just wasted Jordan's time." Just because Yukin lost, he was being disregarded and treated like he's nothing important.

"Yukin!" Zoey called as she appeared to be the only one that actually cared about him and she was afraid he was hurt. She hurried down and tried to help him, but Huo grabbed her by the arm.

"Wait a minute, Zoey." Yukin said.

"Let me go, Huo! Yukin needs help! He could be hurt!" Zoey said.

"I know, but going down there to help someone who lost isn't going to look good for you." Huo said.

"Are you serious?!" Zoey said as she couldn't believe Huo would even suggest something.

"He's going to be okay. Look down there." Huo said. They all looked and saw a few doctors coming over to help Yukin. "Only people are like doctors really can help him without being mocked or anything." At least Yukin actually is going to get help, but Zoey wishes she could be by his side right now. As the doctors were trying to help him, Jordan drove by and stared down at him.

"Pathetic." Jordan said and drove off.

...

The Council

"Not very impressive." Tensen said.

"No, but you must admit that the elemental summoning is quite unique." Takato said. The council watch the match unfold with Renji and Rojin.

"I agree. The elemental summoning was quite the sight to see." Palice said. "Also, he seemed to be on the right track to something. I think the boy has potential."

"There is still much to see." Renji said. "This exhibition match allowed you see Yukin's elemental summoning. I have been able to get my other knights have that ability."

"Yes... This was just an exhibition match. It really didn't matter who won or lost." Rojin said. "I think it's safe to say we have those who are competing in the All Grand Prix. It will be an interesting sight to see if you knights are really as strong as you say." Rojin wanted all of them to compete and wanted to see what they can really do. 'Whether these fools win or lose, doesn't matter. This will soon be my city and I won't let anyone get in the way.' He thought.

...

Yukin

Yukin was out of it for a while. He was finally able to pull himself together. When he finally woke up, he looked around and saw he was in a hotel room. It was also the next day. Yukin was rather confused as to how he got there.

"Where am I?" Yukin questioned.

"I'm glad to see you're awake." Yukin looked to see that Steve guy again. "You're in your room."

"My room?" Yukin questioned.

"Yeah. You'll be staying here because you're competing in the All Grand Prix." Steve said. "You're lucky it was just an exhibition match. If it was a real match and you lost, you would have been long out of here."

"That's right..." Yukin said as he was starting to remember. He had his duel against Jordan and lost. It ended in three turns just like he said. That had to have been one of the most humiliating losses yet. Yukin got up form bed and got his clothes on.

"What are you doing?" Steve said.

"I better go see my friends. I still have something to do." Yukin said. He was about to leave, but he saw there was no handle for the door. "What? Where's the handle?"

"I'm sorry, sir." Steve said. "Competitors for the All Grand Prix aren't really allowed to leave their rooms unless they're knocked out of the tournament or just before their dueled."

"Are you serious?" Yukin said as he couldn't believe this. It's more craziness of this city. "Wait. You must have a key or something. Open the door and let me out!"

"I'm sorry, but that's the one thing I can't do until your match in the tournament." Steve said.

"This is crazy." Yukin said as he was getting annoyed. "What the heck is wrong with this city?" Yukin now can't see his friends. At least he knows they might be in the building since they're entering the tournament. Still, he better figure out some way around the system this city has set up or else he and his friends could be in real trouble.

...

The Stadium

The time for the real tournament has arrived. Fireworks were going off and people were entering. It was the one place higher-ups and nobodies could be seen together. Of course, the higher-ups had their own private section where they interacted with their own kind while the nobodies were separated from them.

"Well, howdy-do and hullaballoo!" Marcy called with a little laugh. "Tried a little silly greeting. Welcome, everyone to the All Grand Prix! This tournament is where the city really comes together to have fun duels and much more!" A lot of people were excited for this tournament. Yukin and his friends were in their rooms to compete, but they know this tournament was just some sort of sham. "I'm sure you're all excited to be here. We're in for a lot of fun and a lot of duels. We have a total of sixteen duelists aiming to hit the top." She showed images of sixteen people entering in the tournament. Huo, Zoey, and Yukin's friends all entered with a few extras. "The lucky winner will have the chance to take on Jordan Raves!" Jordan stepped forward in the center of the arena to make a few words.

"I'm ready to start this tournament!" Jordan said. "I'll take on anyone who dares to challenge me! Just know, to whoever might be the one that wins this tournament, you'll have to earn that spot! Show me that you're a real duelist!" He's getting the crowd excited for the tournament to begin.

...

Yukin

Yukin was watching all of this unfold from his television. All of those who were competing were watching. They had to ready themselves for whatever happens.

"This is ridiculous." Yukin said. "None of them mean any of this. This just a way to entertain each other." Yukin hated how things were run around here. They're acting like the city is some sort of paradise, but it's all lies. He hates the façade they're putting on. Steve looked towards Yukin and saw the anger he was feeling.

"Yukin, are you still going to compete?" Steve said. "You know you'll be ridiculed. Even though you lost an exhibition match, everyone is going to see you a joke out there."

"Well, I was never one for really caring what others thought about me." Yukin said. "Either way, I need to duel in this tournament. I don't really have much of choice. There's a lot going on with me, but winning this tournament is the least of my worries. Still, I have to admit that I would like another shot at Jordan after the way that duel went." Steve could see the look in Yukin's eyes that he was determined to go through wit this. He doesn't like how the city is, but he's still willing to go through with it.

"Uh... I know this might be a little silly, but if you do see Jordan, could you give this back to him?" Steve said as he handed Yukin a card. Yukin took the card to see what it was.

"Soundwave Tuner? What is this?" Yukin asked.

"Jordan gave it to me when he made it big." Steve said.

...

Flashback

Steve was able to get a job and was giving Jordan the red carpet treatment. A lot of people welcomed him as reporters took photos of him.

"Excuse me, sir." Steve said as he spoke to Jordan. "I heard how you came from the slums just like me. You were a nobody, but you managed to make it to the top. I think that's very inspiring and I want to be like you."

"Is that so?" Jordan said as he took out a card. "In that case, take this. This card is perfect for you." Jordan handed him the card and it was Soundwave Tuner. Steve was happy at first until he saw what the card was and felt hurt.

End of Flashback

...

"He said the card was perfect for me." Steve said with frustration. "It's a weak monster with no attack points and no defense points. It even does damage when it's summoned. It was like he was saying I'm weak and worthless. He's a jerk. So, if you manage to see him again, give him back that card." Yukin felt really bad for Steve. He wasn't sure what to think of all this.

"Can you give me a minute to think please?" Yukin asked.

"Uh... Sure..." Steve said as he opened the door and let himself out. Yukin looked at Soundwave Tuner and thought about all that has happened. Jordan is no doubt a powerful duelist. What he found strange in the story is that Jordan would do this.

'Jordan might be a powerful duelist. What I don't get is that if he was a nobody like Steve and made it to the top, why didn't he do anything?' Yukin wondered. 'He could have changed things and made the city better since these people only respect winners. Ryo and Shiro was right. This city is corrupt.' Yukin hates how this city works, but it looks like he can't do anything about it...for now. 'I can't back down now. I need to get these people to see this is wrong. They can't treat people the way they do. I need to break the border this city has put up. Since Jordan's the top dog, facing him might be the only way.' He knows he'll have to face Jordan again, but he remembered how the duel went. He thought about how the duel happened and what could have happened. 'Power Intimidate was the key to Jordan's strategy. If he had activated it first, I could have used Skyscraper Golem's ability to block it and took control of the duel. He anticipated that, and I fell right into his trap. Beating Jordan won't be easy. Dealing with Promin Academy is tough enough, but now I've got this city to deal with. I just hope that in the end, it all works out. The only way to make sure that happens is to fight.' Yukin might be in a situation he doesn't like, but it looks like he has no choice. He's got to fight for his friends, stop Promin Academy, and do something about the city.

"We're all set to start the first duel of the tournament." Marcy said. The tournament was beginning. It was time for the Knights of Legend to prove themselves and hopefully they can change the city. "The first duel is going to be between the charming Ryo and the majestic Siegrain of the sea."
