The All Grand Prix has become an interesting tournament. Many who didn't know better thought it was a good tournament, but there were some who weren't exactly pleased.
"Well, Mr. Abarin, I'm less then underwhelmed." Tensen said. "Your "knights have proven to be less than superficial. They were easily defeated by those who live in this city except for Yukin so far."
"What about this Zoey? She's not from here, but she did rather well." Palice said.
"Perhaps, but I don't remember Abarin claiming she was part of this team." Maribel said.
"I might not have claimed that, but she is an exceptional duelist." Renji said. "For whatever reason, Promin Academy appears to be after her as well. Protecting her is of great importance."
"What about the fact that you changed the duels around?" Takato said as he looked at Ristly. "That young man there was suppose to duel, but you had him removed and replaced him with that Drewsin, and he still lost."
"That was all done by Ristly's choice." Renji said. "Even if we don't prove ourselves, we know this enemy better than you do. Siri was from Promin Academy, but she switched over to our side when she realized what was really going on with them. Are you really willing to put everyone in the city in danger? This Promin Academy will show no mercy, but we know what to expect." That got the five members talking amongst themselves.
"Renji..." Ristly whispered. "I don't know if you're really getting through to them."
"You're right about that." Renji said. "They seem to be quite prideful and stubborn." Convincing the council is a harder task than he thought. Luckily, he had other ideas in mind.
...
Rojin
As for Rojin, he was keeping his eyes on the council. He's watched them, the duels, and much more. Rojin clearly has some tricks up his sleeve as well. As he played around with his chess pieces, he was already predicting the multiple outcomes. To Rojin, life is like a game of chess and there are many strategies and movements you can make as long as you're the one in control.
"Some people seem to be getting a little antsy." Rojin said. "I say the time is nearing. The pawns have fallen into my trap, the knights were in place, and now it's time that the rook moved. Stop all from getting too close."
"It's time for the next exciting duel!" Marcy announced with Rojin watching. "We've got Tobey going against Ezekiel!"
"Time to move, Ezekiel." Rojin said. He watched on the monitors as Ezekiel was shown. He was a muscularly large man. He had short grey hair, but was young. He was wearing a dark green suit with black gloves and boots and had a teal stripe running down his suit with a smoky grey fur collar. He had a black helmet with spikes running down the middle. His runner had a large frame for his large body. It was as black as midnight with demon-like face painted on the head and had horns on it. Everything about this guy said trouble.

Underground Garbage
Meanwhile, the Underground Garbage was more active than it sounded. It was a junkyard that was held underground just like Jirobo said. Those who lost in the tournament were sent down there, but they weren't the only ones. There were others down there and the place had a lot more than labor going on. People were dueling down there and Officer Dungus was one of them. He just lost his duel.
"Looks like you're done, dude." One guy said as a bunch of them saw what happened.
"No! I can do it! I can't stay down here!" Dungus pleaded as it appeared he was trying to get out of the place.
"You know the rules. You need to win to get out." The guy said.
"Hey!" Siegrain called as he and Jirobo came over. "What's going on over here?"
"You two must be the newbies I heard about. Everyone here is dueling for some freedom. You want in?" The guy asked.
"Dueling for freedom? What does that mean?" Jirobo questioned.
"I thought once you're sent down here there is no way out." Siegrain said. "We have to work down here. Why are you all dueling?"
"No one told you, did they?" The guy said. "That's how things work down here. If you win a total of a hundred duels, you're free to leave this place."
"You are?" Jirobo said as he found that rather strange.
"That's right. You boys want in? You can get started." The guy said.
"Do we look stupid to you?" Siegrain said. "There's got to be some sort of catch. We lose some duels or get into some major trouble that we're sent down here, but once we win a hundred duels, we're free to go? That doesn't make much sense. What kind of craziness is the council trying to bring by doing all of this."
"The council?" The guy said as he and the others had a good chuckle. "No one cares about the council! Heck, they don't even know what's really going on down here. It's Rojin that's calling all the shots."
"Rojin?!" Siegrain said as he and Jirobo found that strange. Why would the head of the police force work behind the council's back?
"Rojin said that if we win enough duels, he would get us out of here. Being the guy in charge of all the police comes with benefits." The guy said. "He even mentioned that he'll change the city around and that stupid council isn't going to hold much power. Once you win all the duels you need, you're free to leave this place. The only real catch is that you've got to swear your loyalty to Rojin. He'll give you protection."
"I get it." Siegrain said as he didn't like it. "You win enough duels, you're free to go, but you sell your soul to Rojin."
"Come on. It's got to be better than being down here." The guy said. Jirobo and Siegrain didnt' like that these guys are willingly going to work with someone like Rojin.
"You seem to know a lot about Rojin." Siegrain said. "What can you tell us about? What's the guy really like?"
"He does appear to be a man shrouded in mystery. No one seems to know much about him personally." Jirobo said.
"I don't and I don't care." The guy said. "All I do know is that he kept going on about someone named... Prome...? Prime...?" He was trying to think of the name, but Siegrain might have it and it shocks him.
"Wait. Was it Promin?!" Siegrain said.
"Yeah! He talks about someone with that name." The guy said. Jirobo and Siegrain couldn't believe it.
"Rojin is from Promin Academy?!" Siegrain said. "If he's really from Promin Academy, what's he doing here? Is Promin Academy planning to attack Nitro City soon?"
"I'm not sure about that. Rojin has been working in Nitro City for nearly ten years." Jirobo said. "Why would Promin Academy wait that long?"
"Things are starting to put together." Siegrain said. "That creep is up to something. He must have made that proposal to the council members about us with him adding that we would be thrown down here. It was a ploy to get us out of his way with the possibility of this happening. We played right into his hands."
"Look, it might be a good deal to work with Rojin. Especially since he's got Ezekiel with him." The guy said.
"Who?" Siegrain asked.
"Wait. do you mean THEE Ezekiel?" Jirobo said as he knew who he was, but Siegrain didn't get it.
"We called him Ezekiel Torment." The guy said. "He was the baddest guy in practically all of Nitro City. It took the police about five years to catch the guy. Not because he always gave them the slip, but because he was just that tough. Even in the facility, he was like an animal. He didn't let anyone stand in his way and never gave into their demands. Ezekiel was so bad that he was thrown down here in a matter of days after he got caught."
"What happened to him?" Siegrain asked.
"He won all his duels and went to work for Rojin." The guy said. "I don't know what Rojin did to him, but managed to tame that beast." Rojin sounds more dangerous than he looks if he was able to get someone like Ezekiel under his control. "What do you guys say? Want to start dueling, winning, and get out of here?"
"Not a chance if it means we have to work for the likes of him." Siegrain said. He and Jirobo were completely against working for Rojin. They just turned away and did what they could down there.
"Do you think we'll be able to get out without giving in?" Jirobo said.
"We just have to believe that Yukin and the others will find a way to get us out." Siegrain said. As the two of them kept talking about it, Drewsin was already working on another way to get out. He had a look around saw the elevator that lead to the surface. Drewsin's got something planned.
...
Yukin
"This has become one heck of a duel!" Marcy announced. Yukin was watching the duel go one. He didn't like how this duel was going.
"This Ezekiel... The way he's dueling is..." Yukin said as he wasn't sure what to think of it. All of a sudden there was a crashing sound. What he saw on the screen was quite shocking.
"That was a little hard to see, but Ezekiel is the winner." Marcy said. Whatever just happened was brutal to see. This Ezekiel is not someone you should mess with. "Well, while we try to clean up that mess, we're going to move on to the next duel. We've got the lady about to shine like a star, Siri, going against the girl with the attitude, Danica!"
"Siri is up next?" Yukin said as he paid full attention to this duel.
...
Rojin
Rojin was watching the next duel himself. He's taken an interest in Siri. He's also noticed that she and Zoey look very much alike.
"This Siri is quite an interesting girl." Rojin said. She watched how she duel and found out something. "Now I know why... The girl is actually from Promin Academy. It is rather intriguing that she and Zoey Baxter look so much alike. If one is from Promin Academy, one or both of them might be useful to me."

The Arena
Siri was dueling her best against this Danica. In her new dueling attire, Siri was in a red suit and wore a purple helmet and rode around on burgundy runner. It was a fierce duel. This Danica already had two powerful monsters out known as Jinzo and Machine King.
"I have you now! There's no way you can beat my two powerful monsters!" Danica called as she thought she had this duel won.
"Not even close!" Siri said as she drew her card. "I now activate Polymerization to fuse the Lady Starlight Light that's in my hand with Lady Starlight Water!" She began to fuse her two monsters into one. "Lady of water and of light, the two together shall bring a new might! I fusion summon Lady Starlight Moon!" Siri summoned out a new monster. Her monster shined like a star and looked like a queen with her wearing blue crystal-like armor and a had a moon-like piece on her head. She also had 2600atk points.
"That's what I call shining bright like a diamond!" Marcy announced as Siri's monster looked beautiful.
"She's just as powerful as she is beautiful!" Siri said. "When she's summoned, all monsters that have less attack points than her are instantly destroyed!" Lady Starlight Moon unleashed a bright and illuminating light that destroyed both of Danica's monsters. "With those two out of the way, she's free to attack! Lunar Star Flash!" Her monster unleashed a powerful light that blasted Danica and got her the win.
"It's all over! Siri wins and advances to the next round!" Marcy announced. Yukin and the others were glad to hear she was still in this. She really has skill. The first round is almost over. There's only one duel left now and it might be a big one. "That means we're down to the final duel of the first round! It might be the last one, but I'm sure it's going to be great! We've got Shun vs. Klaus!"
