The last duel was nothing less from insane. When Shun learned that Klaus was really form Promin Academy, he showed no mercy. The field was wrecked and Klaus was on the ground in pain. Everyone who saw the duel was quite shocked at what happened.

"Well, I don't know what happened with all of that, but Shun is advancing to the next round." Marcy said as she was a little shocked. "I think we might need to get a medic down there." Shun wasn't going to let Klaus off the hook as he walked over to Klaus.

"If only I can make you feel the pain I felt." Shun said. "At least I'll take pleasure in doing this." He reached for a function in his duel disk that will turn Klaus into a card, but it wasn't working. "What is this? Why won't he turn to a card?" He didn't get why his duel disk didn't work until he realized that Renji had it with him for a while. "Renji! He must have took that function out!"

"Well, I'm not sure what all that was about, but we are now done with the first round." Marcy announced. "Tomorrow, we will begin the second round and see who will advance to the semi-finals."

...

Yukin

Yukin couldn't believe what he just witnessed. Klaus ended up being a traitor, Shun went ballistic, and the duel itself was insane. This was everything he was told dueling isn't.

"I can't believe most of this." Yukin said. Not sure what he's going to do stop all the insanity, he reached for the broken medallion under his shirt. He wondered what his father would do. 'Dad... I would use your help now more than ever. What would you do in a situation like this.'

...

Klaus

"This guy really got thrown for a loop." A medic said. Once the duel was over, a medic team came and got a hold of Klaus. He was placed on a stretcher and was being escorted for medical help. "Let's see if he'll be able to pull it together." They were on their way, but something happened and it sounded like someone attacked them. Klaus was beginning to wake up from that. When he did, he saw someone over him. The surprising part was that it was friend turned traitor: Soto. When Klaus pulled it together to realize what was going on, he was shocked.

"Hold on! You're..." "Bye." Soto interrupted. He reached for a switch on his duel disk and encased Klaus in a bright light. When the light vanished, he was gone.

"Good. With him out of the way, I can get to work." Soto claimed, but what is he plotting.

...

Underground Garbage

Meanwhile, things were working as normal in the Underground Garbage. If you lose a duel, you're force to work down there and there's no way out. That might be the case, but Drewsin has something in mind. He kept himself out of sight and on the elevator. He waited until it reached down and some people came out.

"No new recruit for the junkpile?"

Not yet. The guy might have broken a couple bones. You only need one arm to lift this stuff." A couple guards walked out of there. Drewsin took the opportunity as he moved as fast as he could before it closed. With that, he was able to head up. He might be heading up, but where is he going?

...

The Council

Now that all the dueling was done, the Council tried to decide on what to do. Renji's trying to persuade them to join in the fight against Promin Academy. At the moment, they all decided to have a nice dinner and invited Jordan to join them.

"So, none of the duelists really caught your interests, Jordan?" Palice asked.

"Not one." Jordan said as he tried to enjoy the meal.

"Why is that?" Pier asked.

"None of them had the drive needed to win." Jordan said.

"What do you mean by that?" Takato asked.

"Speaking from experience, one needs to have the drive to win. A drive like that to win at any costs." Jordan said. "When I was a nobody, I had absolutely nothing. It was a struggle to survive." Jordan was at the bottom of the barrel when he was a child. In a city like this, it means that you're nothing. "I didn't plan to stay like that, but I didn't know what to do. I thought it would be the end for me until I got a sign." When Jordan thought he had nothing, he got a sign: Soundwave Tuner. "When a card came to me out of nowhere, I took it as a sign that I can't give up. I decided that I would rise to the top at any costs, no matter what it takes. That's exactly what I did. None of them seem to have the same drive I did."

"Not even the ones that won their duels?" Maribel asked.

"Not even them. They seem to be dueling for other reasons." Jordan said. "A real duelist should duel to win. That's all that it takes. If you're not willing to win a duel at any costs, you're not a duelist in my opinion."

"Not exactly what you want to hear, Renji. Is it?" Tosen said.

"Your Knights of Legend haven't exactly done so well." Pier said. "Only three of them actually made it through the first round."

"Indeed. I'm not entirely convinced your team has what it takes to defeat this Promin Academy. You didn't even know you had a spy in your affiliation." Maribel said. "Why should we lend our strength and support to incompetent fools?"

"The All Grand Prix isn't over." Renji said as he Ristly tried to enjoy their dinner. "We just might surprise you." As their little dinner went on, Renji got an alert on his duel disk. He saw a message was on it and knew it was time to act soon. "Would you please excuse me? There is something I must take care of." Renji got up from his seat with Ristly following him. The All Grand Prix might not have gone good for the Knights of Legend, but Renji isn't giving up just yet.

...

Yukin

Yukin remained in his room. He still thought a lot about that happened. None of this is what he signed up for, but he knows he can't get out of it. He's got to do something to stop the madness and show people what dueling is suppose to be about. Yukin snapped out of his thoughts when he heard someone knocking on his door.

"Who is it?" Yukin asked.

"It's Drewsin."

"Drewsin?!" Yukin said as he was surprised to hear from him. He thought Drewsin was gone when he was sent to the Underground Garbage. Yukin hurried to the door, but it was locked and he couldn't get it open. "Is that really you, Drewsin?"

"The one and only." Drewsin said.

"I thought you were sent to Underground Garbage. Did the others get out too?" Yukin asked.

"No. I'm the only one who was able to get out." Drewsin said. Not what Yukin was hoping to hear about. "It's a mess out there, isn't it?"

"You can say that again." Yukin said. "Klaus turned out to be from Promin Academy, people are being sent to enslavement for being defeated in a garbage place, and the people of this city don't even seem to care."

"You're certainly right about that." Drewsin said. "Some people think they're living in paradise, but that's only because they hold the advantages that some people don't get. That's why Renji is planning to bring the city's corruption to an end."

"Say what? I thought Renji wanted this city on our side?" Yukin questioned.

"That was before he learned what this city is like. If I'm being completely honest, I lost my duel against Shiro on purpose." Drewsin said.

"You did what?!" Yukin said as he was shocked to hear that Drewsin lost a duel on purpose.

"It's all part of a plan." Drewsin said as he begun to explain.

...

Flashback

When Drewsin was able to get out of the garbage facility, he contacted Drewsin. He met up with Renji and Ristly and began to explain everything that was going on.

"I know it was hard for you to lose that duel on purpose, but I greatly appreciate it." Renji said. "How are things going on your end?"

"Pretty good." Drewsin said. "I've managed to get a layout of the facility. The problem will be all the guards. People are getting round-up from being down there. It's not looking good down there. This Rojin is making sure people side with him or stay out of his way."

"Well, these people might be use to things going their way, but they're about to learn a harsh lesson as to how life really works." Renji said. Renji's planning to change the city around. It needs to be done.

End of Flashback

...

"Renji first came here in hopes of finding help. Now, he's planning to bring this place down?" Yukin said. "I don't know if I can follow his lead. What about my friends down there? Does he plan to just leave them? I bet he is. He doesn't seem to care about them." Yukin wants to help out in stopping the madness, but he can't put his faith in a man he doesn't trust or doesn't seem to care.

"You're wrong. He does care. In fact, he's planning to get them all out of there." Drewsin said with Yukin being shocked. "Yukin, you're just upset about this whole thing with Promin Academy, this city, and the lost of some friends. You don't know what to do with that anger, so you're looking for someone to blame. You choose to blame Renji, but Renji isn't the bad guy here. I know you're upset about what happened to your friends back home, but that's Promin Academy's fault. They are the real enemy. I know it's hard, but they were casualties in this war. There's no such thing as war without casualties. I know you think that if Drewsin did something, they wouldn't have been sacrificed. Maybe you're right, but it could have been a lot worse. Your city could have suffered the way my city has suffered. I lost many friends myself, but I'm doing what I can to stop Promin Academy since they are the cause of all of this. I know you're a little distrustful towards Renji, but it doesn't mean he doesn't cares. Renji's a good leader. He knows how to keep secrets from his enemies and his friends. Some enemies will see emotion and caring for others as a weakness. It might look like Renji doesn't care, but he does. You need to take all those negative feelings and channel it into the main problem. The sooner Promin Academy is defeated, the sooner people can duel for fun again." Yukin was seeing it things in a new light now. He blamed Renji for what happened to his friends, but Drewsin is claiming that isn't the case. He now sees the truth.

"You're right." Yukin said. "I've been focusing on the wrong problem. I haven't seen the big picture until now. While I do find Renji's methods questionable, he is standing against Promin Academy. Promin Academy is the real threat. Until something is done about them, none of us are safe. Thanks, Drewsin."

"Well, you are our best duelist." Drewsin said. "We need you at your best. If we can't trust each other, we don't stand a chance. Besides, Ristly believes you're the key. We've got to prove that he was right to believe in you."

"Ristly?" Yukin said.

"That's right." Drewsin claimed.

...

Flashback

"I'll be off." Drewsin said. He was about to leave, but Ristly had something to say.

"Wait. Can you give a message to Yukin?" Ristly said with Renji and Drewsin surprised that he's speaking up. "Yukin is still struggling with what has been happening, I can tell. We got to get him at his best because I believe Yukin is the key to saving the city from itself."

"Yukin?" Drewsin questioned.

"Yukin has this unique ability to connect with others when he duels." Ristly claimed. "If Yukin duels the way he always has, I'm sure we can change the city for the better. I believe in Yukin." Renji was impressed that Ristly spoke up like that and about someone else. Ristly truly believe in Yukin.

End of Flashback

...

"Ristly really believes in me?" Yukin said as he didn't know what to think to that.

"Yeah. You better not prove the kid wrong." Drewsin said. Those words really got to Yukin. Now he can't fail. "I better go before someone sees me. Stay strong, Yukin. Ristly is putting his faith in you, and I do too. That's why I gave you Shadow Shudamin."

"Right. Thanks, Drewsin." Yukin said. With that done, Drewsin was off. Hearing all this put everything in prospective for Yukin. He looked out his window and now sees the truth. 'Drewsin is right. I've been looking at this all wrong, but no more. I have to duel the way I always duel. I need to duel for what I believe in, and for my friends.' He thought as he could just imagine all of his friends. They're doing the same thing. Yukin isn't going to be held back by his doubts. He needs to focus on what's really going on. He might have blamed Renji for he and his friends getting in this mess, but he now sees that's no longer the case. Now that he sees how things really are, he can't fail. 'Just be patient, everyone. We'll make it through this. We'll change this city, stop Promin Academy, and we will make it through this war.'
