"We are back!" Marcy announced as the All Grand Prix was starting up again. Eight duelists remain and the duels could get more intense from here. "We had one heck of a start in the first round. It's now time to see what's in store for the second round." Everyone was excited to see how the second round is going to turn out. As for Yukin, he had to be ready for anything.

"It's like those people don't really care about the danger that happened in the last duel." Yukin said. These people seem completely ignorant of what is going on. Winning the duels is the only way to get through to them.

"We are now going to commence the second round of the All Grand Prix." Marcy announced. "We're giving our duelists a wider field." With a snap of her fingers, tracks were emerging. A duel track spread through the whole city. "This will make things all the more exciting. Let's now get started with the first two duelists. It's the lovely flower that is starting to bloom: Zoey!"

"Zoey's in the first match?" Yukin said as he hoped she was going to be okay.

"Her opponent is the big brute of demolition: Ezekiel." Marcy announced. Zoey is going against Ezekiel? They got a sample of what Ezekiel is like and none of them enjoyed it. This could be trouble for Zoey.

Huo

"Zoey..." Huo too was worried on what might happen to her. "Remember everything I told you, Zoey. Just make sure you come out of this in one piece." All of them were worried on what might happen to her.

Rojin

Rojin was the only one not too concerned about the match. In fact, it is just what he wanted. With Ezekiel under his command, he believes everything will go the way he wants.

"With Ezekiel against the girl, there is no hope for that girl." Rojin said. "Her fate is already sealed and the queen shall be captured. Checkmate is at hand."

The Arena

When both of them were announced that they were going to be the next duelists, Zoey and Ezekiel came out. Zoey knew she had to keep her guard up. As she nervously looked at Ezekiel, she just had a bad feeling that something was wrong with this guy. They he just stood there with a blank look on his face and a dead look in his eyes says it all.

"The first to make it outside gets to make the first move." Marcy announced. "Time to rev those engines and see who will make it through." A countdown started as the two of them were ready to go. When the countdown reached zero, the two of them took off and went as fast as they could to see who would make it outside first. Marcy rode on a helicopter to see who will make it. When both duelists reached the outside, Zoey was the first to make it. "Looks like Zoey is making the first move! Now let's see who will win. Ready?"

"Let's duel/Duel!" They both said as they were starting the duel with 4000LP.

"Since I'm making the first move, I won't keep you waiting!" Zoey said as she reached for her first card. "I'm going to start by playing Polymerization!"

"Look at that! Zoey's starting with a fusion summon right from the start!" Marcy said as a strong start was being made. "I fuse Flower Fairy Rose and Iris in my hand!" Zoey isn't fooling around. Her two fairies fused together to form her best monster. "I fusion summon Flower Fairy Princess Bellflower!" Her best monster flew out on the field with her having 1000atk points.

"Zoey sends out a strong monster right from the start. She surely isn't messing around." Marcy said. Zoey doesn't know what the deal is with Ezekiel, but she knows a prolonged duel is dangerous with him.

'I need end this duel fast. Bellflower's ability can help with that.' Zoey thought. 'She can't be destroyed in battle and any damage I would take is sent his way instead. Having her on the field now really helps.' "I end my turn."

"My turn. I draw." Ezekiel said as he drew his card, but it was like he was devoid of any feelings. "I summon Briar Mangle to the field." He summoned out a scary looking figure that was wrapped in thorny vines, but it had no attack points.

"A monster with no attack points? What could Ezekiel want with that?" Marcy said, but they all had a bad feeling about this.

"Activating Briar Mangle's ability. I lose 500LP to summon another fiend." Ezekiel claimed. A set of thorny vines came around him and his life points dropped down to 3500. "I summon Briar Wheel." He summoned out another creepy figure that was strapped to a wheel made of briar. It too had zero attack points.

"Why would he sacrifice life points for a weak monster?" Zoey questioned. This was getting stranger and stranger.

"I tune level one Briar Wheel with level one Briar Mangle." Ezekiel said and the process begun. His wheel turned into a green circle and came around Briar Mangle with Mangle turning into a star and a ray shooting through. "I synchro summon Briar Fiend." He summoned out another fiend that had thorny vines around his body like clothes and had wings with dark clothing underneath. It also had 500atk points. "When Briar Fiend is summoned, I lose 500LP." The vines around Ezekiel tightened and his life points dropped to 3000.

"What is going on? Ezekiel keeps loosing life points?" Marcy questioned.

"Briar Fiend, attack." Ezekiel said.

"He's doing what?!" Zoey said. Briar Fiend went on the attack, but Bellflower unleashed a sonic attack that destroyed the fiend and Ezekiel's life points dropped to 2500. "Why would he do that?"

"Briar Fiend's ability activates. When it's destroyed, the monster that destroyed it is destroyed too." Ezekiel said. A set of thorny vines came out of his duel disk and wrapped around Bellflower. It put the squeeze on her and she was destroyed.

"He went through all that just to destroy my monster?" Zoey said. "This guy is nuts."

"Ending turn." Ezekiel said.

"Ezekiel might have destroyed Zoey's monster, but he lost a good portion of life points." Marcy said. "I'm not so sure that was the smartest move."

"It's my turn!" Zoey said as she drew her next card. "Since I have no monsters on the field, I can summon out Flower Fairy Princess Lotus without a tribute!" She summoned out Lotus with Lotus having 2300atk points. "When Lotus is summoned, I can now take a card from my deck and add it to my hand. The card I'm going to take is Fairies Garden! In fact, I'm going to activate it right now and use it's ability to give Lotus and extra 600atk points!" Zoey activated her spell and Lotus gained power to 2900.

"Here we go! If Zoey's attack hits, this duel is as good as over!" Marcy said.

"Flower Fairy Princess Lotus, attack and put an end to this duel now!" Zoey said. Lotus attacked by unleashing a silver blast of wind. This duel appeared to be over.

"From graveyard, I play Briar Wheel." Ezekiel said. "When life points about to reach zero, I keep 100LP by banishing him." He removed Briar Wheel from his graveyard when the attack hit. His life points dropped to zero, but the force did push his runner against the edge of the track. When his runner smashed against the edge, piece of it flew off with one grazing against his arm.

"Ezekiel had one close call, but he still managed to hang in there." Marcy said.

"In that case, I'll just end my..." Zoey ended her turn, but she looked and saw that Ezekiel's arm was injured.

"Zoey gave it a good shot, but Ezekiel still has a chance to turn this around. Down to just 100LP, how does he plan to turn this around?" Marcy said to get the crowd pumped.

"Hold on!" Zoey called. "We should stop the duel now! I think Ezekiel is hurt! He might need a doctor to have a look in his arm!"

"What is this? You show the mercy?" Ezekiel said as it triggered something in him. "You are very stupid girl."

"Excuse me?" Zoey said.

"Mercy, compassion, caring... These things are meaningless!" Ezekiel claimed as he was showing a more energetic side to him. One that enjoys pain. "Pain comes from battle! Pain comes from everything! One must be able to endure pain! The greater the pain, the greater the victory!" He revved up his runner and sped past Zoey.

Yukin

"Oh boy! I think someone just flipped Ezekiel's switch!" Marcy announced. Yukin heard what Ezekiel said as he was getting nervous for Zoey now.

"This guy brings and endures pain to bring victory?" Yukin said. Ezekiel is someone who enjoys bringing pain whether it's to himself or on to others. He has a sick satisfaction for it, especially if it means he wins. "This guy is insane!" All Yukin is hoping for now is for Zoey to get out of there.

Rojin

Rojin watched the duel himself. He was actually expecting Ezekiel to go through this attitude change, more or less.

"I may have put that beast under my control, but I just can't seem to hold in this strange satisfaction he has for pain." Rojin said. "Oh well. At least it keeps things interesting.

The Duel

"My turn!" Ezekiel drew his next card and was getting serious. "I play Cursed Painful Thorn! Life points drop by half to resurrect a synchro fiend! Rise again Briar Fiend!" His monster came back with his life points dropping to 50. "Now, I summon level five Briar Misery!" He summoned out a new monster with another creepy figure entangled in briar and had 2000atk points. "Briar Misery allows me to fusion summon!"

"Fusion summon?!" Zoey said as she didn't like the sound of that.

"I fuse Briar Misery with Briar Fiend!" Ezekiel claimed as his Briar Misery tied his fiend and entangled it into its body as the two monsters fuse together. "I fusion summon Briar Archfiend!" He summoned out a new monster. This one had two sets of wings with it having a black robe, hair, and horns. His fiend also had three thorny vines coming out from the bottom, but it had no attack points.

"What are you going to do with that?!" Zoey said as she was scared.

"Briar Archfiend takes a monster. He gains 300atk points for each level!" Ezekiel said. "The fairy of flowers now be mine!" His archfiend got its vines tangled around Lotus and pulled her to him with Archfiend's attack points rising to 2100. "He can also attack twice!" This wasn't looking good for her at all. "Attack with Evil Curse!" His fiend unleashed a dark blast of energy and blasted Zoey with her life points dropping to 1900. "If you cannot handle pain, you perish!" He suddenly turned his runner around and used it to smash against Zoey's runner and have her flying in the other direction. "Attack!" His monster blasted Zoey again and her life points dropped all the way to zero. The terror didn't stop there as Zoey's runner crashed into a building and an explosion went off.

"Oh my! That surely doesn't look good!" Marcy announced with all her friends fearing what happened to her. "I hate to say it, but I'm afraid Zoey's riding days are over."

"NNNNOOOOO!" Yukin shouted. Is Zoey really finished?
