Rojin is beginning his plans to take over the city. Yukin and his friends are doing their best to allude him, but it's only a matter of time until he catches them. The members of the council were trying to decide what they were going to do about this. As for Renji, he was already at work with something.

"Renji, what do you think?" Palice asked, but they all noticed he wasn't even paying attention as he was working on something with his duel disk.

"Mr. Abarin!" Maribell called. "This could be your chance to show what you Knights of Legend can really do, but you're just standing around?"

"No worries. Everything is already at work." Renji claimed.

...

Huo

The duel between Huo and Siri has just ended with Huo being the winner. However, he felt something and found what was causing this strange sensation. He looked up to the stands and he spotted Yuan, the same person that kidnapped Brui and Rini.

"It's him again..." Huo said as he readied himself. As for Yuan, he held one of his cards and saw it was reacting to something.

"Strange..." Yuan said as he wasn't sure what his card was reacting to. He looked down at the arena and could see that Huo spotted him. All Yuan did was smirk and took off.

"No you don't!" Huo said as he saw this as an opportunity to get Rini back. He hopped right on his runner and took off after Yuan.

...

Underground Garbage

Down in the Underground Garbage, things were at work as well. Shiro was speaking to some of the others that were trapped down there with them. Siegrain, Sylvester, and Jirobo were all together, but they could see what Shiro was trying to do.

"Hey, what's going on?" Shun asked as he carried some garbage and walked over to them.

"Trouble, I believe." Siegrain claimed.

"Psst." All of them heard someone trying to get their attention. They all spotted Drewsin behind some garbage and told them to come over. Shun dropped the garbage and they hurried over to him.

"Drewsin?" Shun said as they all grouped together.

"What is it?" Siegrain asked.

"Siegrain!" All of them looked and spotted Zoey and the girls.

"Zoey!" Siegrain called with much joy that he ran over to her and hugged her. "You're okay! Yukin and I've been so worried about you!"

"Quiet! You want her to get caught?" Drewsin said.

"What do you mean? What's going on?" Jirobo asked.

"It's Rojin. He's after Zoey for some reason." Drewsin said. "I brought Zoey back down here so that she would be safe from him. It looks like Rojin is getting ready to make his big move. I'm gonna head back to the surface to see if Yukin is going to need help."

"It's not just Rojin we might have to worry about." Sylvester said.

"What do you mean?" Drewsin said. Sylvester and Jirobo showed him as they pointed to Shiro and some of his friends.

"It looks like Shiro is at it again with this rebellion." Jirobo said. "He's trying to get some of those who are down here to join him and they're going to force their way out. It looks like they're getting ready to strike at any minute."

"This isn't good. If we don't do something soon, the whole city is going to be thrown into chaos." Drewsin said as things are starting to get out of hand. "I'm heading back. The rest of you keep an eye on Zoey and the girls. Let's just hope we're not too late." All of them agreed on the plan. As for Zoey, she kept thinking back yo Yukin and just hoped he was okay.

...

Siri

As for Siri, the troubles are just beginning with her. She lost her duel and was on her way to the elevator that would take her down to the Underground Garbage. She accepted her fate, but nothing happened when she reached the elevator.

"That's weird. Where is it?" Siri questioned. She didn't get what was going on until someone tapped on her shoulder. When she turned around, something was sprayed in her face. Suddenly, she felt her whole body going numb and dropped to the ground. She looked up and saw three security officers over her. "What is this?"

"Sorry, kid. Just following orders. That nerve gas should keep you from running off."

"Time to go. Rojin wants to see you." The three officers were about to take her away, but someone stepped in the way.

"Let her go." All of them saw through the dark and saw it was Ristly. Seeing it was just him, the officers just laughed.

"Run along, kid. We're in the middle of something."

"I won't let you take her." Ristly said as he held out his duel disk and was ready for a fight.

"Ristly... Don't..." Siri said. The officers just found this all laughable.

"Is this kid serious?"

"Kids are stupid, and sometimes they need to learn their lessons the hard way. I say we humor him and give this kid some discipline." The three of them lined up and got themselves ready for a three vs. one duel.

"Let's duel!" All four said.

"I'm going first." Ristly said. "I summon Tech Amp Tracker Wolf." He started by summoning his wolf with it having 1200atk points. "Next, I place three cards facedown. I now activate my spell: Tech Amp Scrap. By sending one of my Tech Amps to the graveyard, I can draw two cards." His wolf was sent to the graveyard and he drew two cards. "Since Tracker Wolf was sent to the graveyard, I get to draw a card." He drew his card and felt ready. "I end my turn."

"That's it. Not all that impressive. Then again, it is just a kid. It's my turn!" The officer on the left said as he took his turn. "I'm summoning Cannon Soldier to the field!" He started out by summoning a robot with a cannon on it with 1400atk points. "Of course, in a duel like this, none of us are allowed to attack on our first turn. I think I'll end it there."

"My turn!" The officer in the middle went next. "I'm summoning Pursuit Chaser!" He summoned out another machine with 1400atk points. "I end my turn."

"Now it's my turn! I'm going to start by turn by playing Star Blast. I lower my life points by 500. After that, one monster in my hand has his level lowered by one. That means I can summon out Handcuff Dragon!" He summoned out his dragon with it having 1800atk points as his life points dropped to 3500. "That ends my turn."

'This stupid kid is in for it.' One of the officers thought. 'On my next turn, I'll activate my Stray Lambs. With my Cannon Soldier's and Pursuit Chaser's abilities, we can deal 1300 points of damage. Even if the kid manages to attack one of us, the other two can strike with our powerful monsters. There's no way he can win.' The officers believe they won with Siri worried about Ristly, but they clearly underestimated Ristly.

"It's my turn." Ristly said as he drew his next card. "I activate Tech Amp Fusion. That allows me to fusion summon a Tech Amp to the field. I'll fuse the Tech Amp Boost Chick and Tech Amp Racer Horse in my hand." He took the two monsters in his hand and began to fuse them together. "I fusion summon Tech Amp Wrecker Elephant." Ristly placed the elephant in the room with it having 2700atk points. "Since both my Tech Amps went to the graveyard, I draw one card for each one." Once he drew his two cards, he pointed to his traps. "I now activate Summoning Progress. This trap allows me to summon a monster from my extra deck, regardless of the summoning conditions, if I have one on the field. I summon the synchro monster Tech Amp Cruiser Megalodon came out with 2600atk points. "I now activate my second trap." He played his second trap and they were all shocked at what they saw.

"A second Summoning Progress?!"

"I now summon the xyz monster Tech Amp Rocket Condor." Ristly said as he summoned out a third monster with it having 2000atk points. "I now activate my third trap: Triangular Extra. This trap destroys all your cards when I have three different card types that came from the extra deck." His trap unleashed a powerful blast that destroyed every card the opponents had. Two of the officers were shocked, but the third tried to stay calm.

"Relax, babies. He'll only be able to take down one of us."

"No. I'm taking all three of you down. I activate Tech Amp Generator." Ristly said. "This spell gives all my Tech Amps an extra 500atk points for each Tech Amp on the field."

"Each one?!" They were all scared when they saw their powers rose to 3500, 4100, and 4200.

"Attack." Ristly said. All three monsters attacked each one of them and took each of the officers down in one shot. It was impressive that one kid was able to take all three of them down.

"Ristly... That was incredible." Siri said.

"Come on, Siri. We're getting out of here." Ristly said as he grabbed a hold of Siri and tried to get her out of the arena before Rojin struck again.

Rojin

Rojin was able to see what happened on the security cameras. He was furious now. Despite how Siri slipped through his grasp, he took a deep breath and tried to calm down.

"You can't escape from me." Rojin said. "I'll find you eventually. In the meantime, let's keep your little friend busy." He reached for his own phone and gave someone a call.

The Arena

Marcy was given a call. Night has fallen over the city, and the tournament should have ended for the day by now. However, Rojin is practically calling the shots. He gave a Marcy a call and convinced her to go through with the next duel now.

"Attention, everyone." Marcy said as she was making the announcement. "It looks like the fun isn't over yet for the day. I just got a call saying that we've been given the green light for the semi-finals to begin right now. We have four duelists left, but that number is about to drop." Everyone was getting excited to see another duel go on. "The next duel is between Yukin and Ryo!"

"Ryo?" Yukin said as he wasn't expecting this, but this works. Rojin was hoping that this duel would keep Yukin distracted while he gets what he's looking for. What Rojin didn't know was that this was what Yukin actually wanted. "Perfect. I can reason with Ryo. He'll be able to help me out."

"Uh... Yukin..." Yukin looked behind him and saw Steve.

"Steve? What is it?" Yukin asked.

"Well... It's just... I'm just having a hard time understanding. Are you really working with Rojin?" Steve asked.

"Why would you even ask me that?" Yukin questioned.

"It's just... Shiro said you were. No one really knows anything about you." Steve said. "You also seem to have crushed the hopes of some people."

"That's not what I was going for." Yukin said as he was getting his runner ready. "I meant it when I said I want to change this city for the better, but Shiro's methods wasn't going to work. It would have only made things worse. You and other nobodies might have it rough, but you do have the potential to make things better. You just can't give in to hatred or anger. Take what I did with this card for example." He took out one of his cards and showed that it was Soundwave Tuner.

"The card I gave you?" Steve said. "I was surprised that you used it, but I just wanted you to give it to Jordan."

"Steve, I wouldn't have been able to pull out that win if I didn't have this card." Yukin said. "Cards like this might seem like nothing, just like how some see you nobodies, but they have the potential to make even the worst of situations better. You just need to be able to see it." Steve was starting to see things differently thanks to Yukin. He's starting to have hope that Yukin could actually be the one to change the city. "Trust me, Steve. This city will change where all of you are happy and accepting. I'm going to do everything I can to make sure that happens." He put on his helmet and revved the engines. He took off and got ready for his next duel.

"You go, Yukin!" Steve cheered as he was believing Yukin really can do it.

Rojin

"This duel should buy some time until I find Zoey and Siri." Rojin said. "The fool thinks he is out playing me, but all his moved are predictable. It will be checkmate soon enough. While he's occupied, you get the privilege of taking the queens." He turned to Ezekiel standing behind him. Everything is going just as Rojin wants. Just like in a game of chess, he's moved his pieces accordingly. Yukin and the others just better hope he can counter his movements before he actually can claim checkmate.
