Yukin's plans to thwart Rojin's plans failed. So, he's decided to go through with the duel against Ryo. Yukin had 5500LP and was able to summon out Shadow Shudamin and Sapphire Serapho. Ryo pulled out Witch Charmer, at 2700atk points, and Witch Slayer, at 2000LP. He also had a couple face-downs with 4000LP, but that could easily change. Especially since something has came over Yukin. Something seems to be possessing him.

"Yukin! Can you hear me?!" Ryo called as he was worried on what was happening to Yukin.

"I activate Shadow Shudamin's special ability!" Yukin said as he was dueling with such aggression. "Shadow Shudamin uses one overlay unit to absorb half of your monster's attack points!" One overlay unit entered Shudamin's hand and absorbed some of Witch Slayer's power. Witch Slayer's power dropped to 1000 while his went up to 3500. "I use Shadow Shudamin's ability again!" Shadow Shudamin used that ability again, but it was on Witch Charmer this time. His attack points dropped to 1350 while Shudamin's rose to 4850.

"Yukin's Shadow Shudamin has been given quite a power boost. Both of Ryo's witch boys look like they could be in trouble." Marcy announced.

"When Sapphire Serapho deals damage against a monster, the damage is doubled!" Yukin said. While he's possessed he was mentally connected to Drewsin, Yuan, and Huo. All of them acted like they were one.

"Attack!" All four said. Sapphire Serapho was the first to attack as he aimed right at Witch Slayer.

"I play my Arcane Protective Circle!" Ryo said. "Since I have two spellcasters on my field, the damage I take from this attack is blocked!" When Serapho attacked, a magic circle came in the way and blocked the attack. It didn't stop Witch Slayer from being destroyed, but Ryo took no damage from the attack.

"But what is going to protect your Witch Charmer now that it loses some power?" Yukin said as Witch Charmer's attack points dropped to 1050.

"Oh my! One good hit from Shadow Shudamin and this duel is over." Marcy said.

"Attack!" Shadow Shudamin had dark energy flow into his hand and he went on the attack.

"Good thing I have a second trap!" Ryo said as he activated it. "I play Arcane Shield Circle! This trap cuts the damage I take in half and my spellcaster survives the battle!" A second circle was formed that blocked the attack, but Ryo still felt the force from that attack as his life points dropped to 1600. The force of the attack was so immense that he nearly crashed.

"What a fierce attack. Ryo nearly crashed." Marcy said. Soto was watching the duel himself and he could tell something was wrong.

"What's happening to Yukin? He's dueling with such aggression. That's not like him at all." Soto said as he was getting concerned.

"I place one card facedown and end my turn." Yukin said. Since it was the end of his turn, their monsters' attack points returned to normal.

'That was close, but I doubt I'll be able to avoid that a second time. I better do something about those two now.' Ryo thought as he hoped he would get something that can help. "I draw!" He drew his next card and hoped it would be something that can help him. "I'm going to play my Pot of Greed! This allows me to draw two more cards!" He drew two more cards and he had a plan that might help him. "Just who I need! I'm playing Switch Witch to the field!" He summoned out his blonde witch as she flew out with 0atk points. "Since she is a witch, Witch Charmer gains an additional 300atk points." Witch Charmer's attack points increased to 2700. "I now activate Switch Witch's ability to switch our monsters' attack points!" His witch blew a kiss and it hit Shadow Shudamin with their attack points switching. "Time to clear the field! Switch Witch, attack Shadow Shudamin!" Switch Witch flew at Shadow Shudamin with her new power and he looked like he was going to be a goner.

"I play Defensive Stand!" Yukin said as he played his trap. "Now, my monsters switch to defense mode and can't be destroyed this turn!" Both of his monsters switched to defense mode with them having 2000def points. Switch Witch's attack was blocked and that foiled Ryo's plans.

"I place one card facedown and end my turn!" Ryo said as there wasn't much more he could do.

"My turn!" Yukin said as he drew his next card. "I activate Equilibrium! This spell card allows me to change the level of one monster to the level of another! I can even change an xyz monster's rank into a level! I change Shadow Shudamin into a level seven just like Sapphire Serapho!" Energy flowed through both of his monsters as Shudamin became a level seven monster.

"I now build the overlay network with Shadow Shudamin and Sapphire Serapho!" All four of the boys were combining their power for this one. "With the blue flames of darkness, this monster will bring down all those who oppose him! I xyz summon Shadow Sapphire Serapho!" He's combined both monsters into this powerful monster with it having 3000atk points.

"No way! He actually combined his monsters together!" Ryo said as he couldn't believe what he saw.

"I equip Shadow Sapphire Serapho with Wings of Night!" Yukin said as he played another spell. When he played it, black feathered wings appeared on Serapho's back that glistened in the night sky.

"What does that do?!" Ryo said.

"You might not be around long enough to find out!" Yukin said. "I activate Shadow Sapphire Serapho's special ability! I use all of his overlay units to destroy all monsters that hold a lower level than seven! Black Flame Incinerate!" Both units entered his chest and he unleashed a dark flame that blasted and destroyed Switch Witch.

"Oh man! I have a feeling this is going to hurt!" Ryo said as he knows what might be coming next.

"It will! You also lose a 1000LP since you lost a monster!" Yukin claimed as Serapho unleashed another powerful blast of dark fire that blasted Ryo and his life points dropped to 600.

"Things are not looking good for Ryo down there." Marcy announced.

"This duel is over! Shadow Sapphire Serapho, destroy him and everything of his!" Yukin ordered. Serapho flew around as he was getting ready to attack. "Dark Flame Mangle!" Serapho gathered power around himself and formed a claw to crush down on all his enemies.

"I activate Retrospect Witch's ability from my graveyard! By returning it to my deck, one monster loses 1000atk points!" Ryo said. He had his witch return to his deck and Serapho's attack points decrease to 2000. Serapho's attack went on, but the power of the attack bounced off Witch Charmer and blasted Yukin as his life points dropped to 5100. Ryo thought he was in the clear, but he was surprised when he saw Serapho was still around. "Why is it still standing?"

"With Wings of Night, the monster can't be destroyed when it's attacked!" Yukin said. "I end my turn."

"Since it's the end of your turn, your monster's attack points return to normal." Ryo said as Serapho's attack points returned to 3000.

"This isn't looking good. Yukin seems to have lost control of himself." Soto said. "I'm a little worried on what might happen to him if this goes on." Things were looking bad and were going to get worse. When Soto looked to the side, he saw a few people on one of the buildings. They were a few people he knew. "Oh no! They're here already?! When did they get here?"

"Ryo is struggling to keep up with Yukin, but it looks like..." Marcy was in the middle of giving the play-by-play, until she looked down and noticed Soto hanging on the bottom of her helicopter. "Hey! You're not suppose to be here!"

"You're right. I need to be down there." Soto said as he dropped down on the track.

"It's my turn, Yukin!" Ryo said as he drew his next card, but he wasn't exactly sure what to do. Suddenly, he felt something shift on his runner.

"Hi." Soto said as he got his attention.

"Who are you?! Where'd you come from?!" Ryo asked.

"Never mind that now. Listen, you need to give a message to Yukin." Soto said. "When the duel is over, and if he feels better, tell him Promin Academy is here."

"What?! Those guys he and his friends fight against are here?!" Ryo said.

"I've got to go now." Soto said as he jumped off the track and made his way out. Ryo didn't understand what was going on, but there was no time for that.

"I don't get this, but I better end this as fast as I can." Ryo said. "I'm going to start by activating my activating my Witch's Wish spell! I send cards to the graveyard until there are seven witches to use this card! Since I already have five, I'm sending two more to the graveyard, such as Memory Witch and Telepath Witch." He discarded his two cards to use his spell. "That means that I can now have my spellcasters attack you directly!"

"Looks like Ryo's trying to go for broke here." Marcy said.

"Witch Charmer, attack him directly!" Ryo ordered. Witch Charmer had magic power flow through him as he took to the sky and moved around Yukin's monsters and was going in for major damage.

"I send Candle Seahorse to the graveyard to cut the damage by half!" Yukin said. A seahorse holding a candle came in the way of the attack. It may have gotten destroyed, but it weakened some of the damage with Yukin's life points only dropping to 3900. Yukin was still pushed back from the attack and it looked like he nearly crashed.

"Yukin!" Ryo called as he was afraid Yukin was going to crash, but Yukin pulled it together and was now riding behind Ryo. Ryo was glad he was okay, but that attack didn't do what he wanted. 'I was hoping to use my trap card when he lost some more life points, but if he attacks now, I'm a goner.' "That's all for my turn!"

"It's time that this duel ends!" Yukin shouted as he drew his next card. "Shadow Sapphire Serapho, attack!" Serapho got his attack ready and it looks like this could be the end of the duel right here.

"I play my trap: Primary Switch Witch!" Ryo said. "By returning Switch Witch to my deck, our monsters have their attack points switched! What's more is that your monster will be destroyed no matter what!" Their attack points changed around and now Witch Charmer was stronger. Witch Charmer attack landed and left an injury on Serapho.

"Wings of Night has a second effect! When the monster equipped with it is destroyed, you take damage equal to the attack points of the monster that destroyed him!" Yukin said.

"I what?!" Ryo said as he couldn't believe it. Energy emerged out of the injury inflicted on Serapho and blasted right at Ryo. Ryo got blasted hard by the attack and his life points dropped all the way to zero.

"It's over! Yukin has won!" Marcy announced. As soon as Yukin was declared the winner, he screamed in pain as he felt such a strong sensation in his head and passed out right on his runner.

"Yukin!" Ryo called as he was really worried now. Yukin may have won, but that might not matter.

Rojin

"Well, that was certainly strange. He acted like a different person earlier." Rojin said. He kept his eyes on Yukin, but he noticed something else on the monitors. He looked and saw a few people from Promin Academy. He surely wasn't expecting that. "Promin Academy is here?! Not good!" Promin Academy being here could cause a problems and his plans might need to accelerate.

The Arena

Thanks to the runners running on autopilot, Yukin was able to go back to the arena. When Yukin finally began regaining consciousness, he saw he was back at the arena. However, he was dazed and confused as to what happened.

"My head... Where am I?" Yukin questioned.

"Let me go! Yukin!" Yukin looked to the side and saw Ryo, but he was being held back by security. "Yukin, are you feeling okay?!"

"I think so. What happened?" Yukin questioned.

"I lost the duel. Something happened to you and you went on a rampage." Ryo said.

"I did?" Yukin questioned as he had vivid memories of what just happened.

"Listen... We got trouble. A buddy of yours spotted some people. He said that Promin Academy was here." Ryo said.

"Promin Academy is here?!" Yukin said as he knew that was trouble. "This is bad. If those guys are here, everyone in Nitro City is in grave danger. Ryo, I need you to head to the Underground Garbage. Find my friends and tell them what's going on. I'm heading into the city." With no time to discuss anything, Yukin zipped off and headed back to the city.

"Go, Yukin!" Ryo cheered. Things are only getting worse for Yukin and his friends, and he needs to move fast.

'If Promin Academy is here, they must be after Zoey AND Siri. Rojin is after them, too.' Yukin thought. 'I need to get to them first before it's too late.' All of his friends, as well as the whole city is in grave danger. Yukin needs to move fast or else the whole city is in great peril.
