"Are you Issei Hyoudou?" The mysterious red haired girl asked.

"Who's asking?" Issei asked while flaring some of his powerful aura.

"Relax there is no need to be on the defensive. My name is Rias Gremory, I am a third year at Kuoh Academy. I am surprised you have never heard of me or at least seen me around." She pointed out.

"My memory has been a little off lately so I'm sure I must have seen you." Issei started, "But that point aside, why do you have a similar aura to that of the guy I just killed."

"It's because I'm a devil, the next heiress to the Gremory family." Rias replied.

"A devil?! Wait, that is the same thing that guy called me and said I was a runaway devil." Issei added.

"Yes that is because you died and I resurrected you, making you a part of my peerage." Rias said while releasing her wings.

"Peerage?! Am I the first one you added to your peerage?" Issei asks with some shock.

"Haha no you funny and cute boy, these others are in my peerage as well." She said holding her hand out to her side while another magic red circle started appearing behind her.

Issei saw as 3 other people appear before him, he recognized only one of them however.

"Kiba Yuuto?" Issei asked looking surprised.

"Oh so I see you still remember and know my knight." Rias chuckled.

"Hello Issei." Kiba said while smiling.

"So is this the cute boy who absorbed all eight of your pawn pieces Rias?" The black haired girl asked.

"Yes it is. His name is Issei." She said while winking at Issei. "And this is my queen Akeno Himajima. The small girl next to her is Koneko Toujou. And just like you they are all my servants and part of my peerage."

"Yo pervert I guess you don't remember me then." Koneko added.

Issei took a moment to look at them before having a sudden realization. "I noticed they all have roles that of chess pieces. Is there a reason for that?" Issei asked Rias.

"Why yes there is. However, how about tomorrow after school you come down to the old schoolhouse building and meet us at the Occult Research Club." Rias replied.

"I mean I have to go to kendo club but I guess I can make it." Issei said while shrugging and looking slightly annoyed. "However I have no idea where that is."

"That is okay I will send someone for you at the end of the day in your last class." Rias added before quickly turning and teleporting her and the rest of her peerage out of there.

[Well that was an interesting string of events. However, like I said before, I already knew you were a Devil.] Thanatos pointed out.

{Looks like you may be able to add more girls to that harem of yours partner. What do you say roommate, how many of those girls do you think he will be able to add?} Ddraig added while talking to Thanatos.

[I am thinking none with the way he looks and acts. Also never call me roommate again, I have a name.] Thanatos replied to the Red Dragon Emperor.

"Shut up both of you!" Issei said scarily.

Issei proceeded to walk home after a long night and went to bed wondering what tomorrow will bring.

Line Break | Kuoh Academy last period

The bell rings signaling the end of the period and most of the kids run out of the classroom trying to get home as soon as possible. That is when he looked over and saw two girls approaching.

"So dear are we still on for that date this weekend?" Murayama asked him.

"Yeah honey, you still are taking us on that date right?" Katase added.

"Yes Yes. I may not feel but I still am a man of my word." Issei said rolling his eyes.

"And. You are going to tell us about that power of yours at the club today too." Murayama said.

"Let us take a rain check on that ladies. I know I told you both I would tell you at the club today but something came up." Issei retorted.

"Like what? What is so important that you have to break your word to us?" Katase responded with a frown.

"Well…" Issei was about to started before he got cut off.

"Issei you ready to go?" Kiba asked him.

"I should have known they would send him." Issei thought to himself.

"Wow so the Prince of Kuoh Academy is what you have that is more important than us?" Murayama asked clearly upset.

Before Issei could speak Kiba spoke up. "No need to worry ladies I am just going to take him to the Occult Research Club and then you guys can have him after."

"Wow so I get it so you joined a new club then. I see how it is." Katase said while pouting.

"If it matters that much, then I will make it up to you." Issei told the two girls while winking.

That made the two girls blush but Issei just continued on with Kiba heading to the OCR.

The two boys arrived at the club and knocked on the door.

Knock knock

"Come in!" A voice from the inside shouted.

The two boys proceeded inside the room. Issei took a moment to look at the decor of the room.

"Ah welcome Kiba and Issei." Rias said.

"Hello President." Kiba replied with a warm smile.

"Hello there. Nice place you've got here." Issei stated with a blank face.

"Thank you cute pawn." Rias said with a blush before continuing. "Alright why don't we all take a seat so we can get started."

Rias sat at the chair behind her desk, Koneko sat on the couch eating her sweets, Kiba sat on the couch getting ready to listen with his sword on his lap, Akeno went to make tea, and Issei sat on the couch with the expression of him not wanting to be there.

"So to get started, as I said last night I will tell you what the chess pieces represent in our peerage." Rias said.

Issei just nodded.

"Each piece, just like chess has their role. The rook, which is Koneko has a great deal of strength. The knight which is Kiba has extreme speed and is very good with a sword. The bishop which none are here right now are proficient with magic. The queen which is Akeno here is well versed in all of the attributes, she has a strong magic reserve, has great strength there of rook, and skills such as a knight. And that makes me the king and also your master." Rias finally concluded.

"So you mentioned all the other pieces but you haven't mentioned any other pawns. I remember being told I was a pawn, so where are the others?" Issei asked confused.

"That is because you are the only pawn. You absorbed all eight pawn pieces. Which is impressive because all I had left was a bishop, a knight, and a rook piece. The only things that worked were the eight pawns which means you must be really strong." Rias informed.

"What makes me so strong? Is it the Reaper's Scythe sacred gear I have in me?" Issei asked.

"Reaper's Scythe? I have never heard of that, but no I was talking about about the Boosted Gear you have in you as well apparently." Rias added.

"Oh the Red Dragon Emperor, Ddraig you mean?" Issei asked.

"So you learned how to activate your boosted gear already then." Issei stated with a proud look.

"Not quite. He is able to talk to me in my head and informed me of who he is." Issei retorted.

Rias just sat their still like she was thinking about something. "I got it. I want you in your left hand to summon the Boosted Gear and in your right the Reaper's Scythe."

Issei started to look perplexed, "The thing is I actually haven't summoned the Reaper's Scythe by myself. The only time I summoned it was when I lost all control but I blacked out so I don't really remember."

"That's okay." Rias started, "Here is what I want you to do. With your left hand try to feel all that power forming at your palm. And with your right hand I want you to imagine you are gripping a staff that is made up of dark energy."

After a moment of silence and Issei trying to summon the two sacred gears, a black cloud formed a scythe in his right hand and a red, metal, dragon claw with a green light and gold spikes formed on his left arm.

"Wow." Rias' queen said.

"That's his first time summoning them? They look so powerful." Kiba added.

"Cool, but your still a pervert." Koneko stated.

"That's my pawn." Rias said with a smile and tears in her eyes.

Issei managed to miss what everyone was saying and just stood their with his mouth open looking at what he just accomplished.

After a few minutes of everyone taking it in Rias started to end the meeting, but had to ask Issei one thing. "So Issei, now since you understand who we are, do you have any interest in joining the Occult Research Club and my peerage."

Issei had to take a moment to think before responding. "Let me sleep on it because I am part of the kendo club already and I will give you an answer."

Rias nodded in agreement "Fine but I expect you to have an answer for me tomorrow."

Issei agreed and proceeded to head out.

Line Break | Occult Research Club the next day

Knock knock

The door to the ORC made as Issei arrived at the club.

"Come in!" Akeno shouted from the other side.

"So Issei. What is your answer to yesterday's question?" Rias asked.

"I will have to decline. I already made a promise to the kendo girls that I would join their club and be a part of it. I'm very sorry." Issei gave his response as he bowed.

This shocked everyone especially Rias. But Rias wasn't about to give up. "How about this, come with us to see what we do and if you still aren't interested that is fine, but if you are then we will accept your change of mind."

"Fine. What do you have in mind?" Issei asked.

"We were just informed that there was a runaway devil that killed its master and since this is my territory we are in charge of exorcising it." Rias informed him.

"Alright sounds like a plan." Issei added.

Location Switch | At an abandoned building

The whole peerage lined up outside of the building and awaited their master's orders.

"Let's all go in and confront it." Rias ordered.

The rest of the group nodded in agreement as they followed her inside. The group walked in and saw the devil in there.

"Runaway devil, for the crimes you have committed against your master and the Underworld you shall now face death." Rias said.

The devil began to change form into a gigantic monster with long legs, massive arms, yellow eyes, skin turning more pale, and a tongue about 3 feet long coming out of its mouth. The devils all took a battle formation getting ready for what would come next. The giant devil started to prepare for an attack.

"Kiba!" Rias commanded.

Kiba with an unparalleled speed ran towards the monster and gave it a clean cut right through its arm. As the arm started falling to the ground the monster let out a shriek of pain. But then it quickly got focused again as it went in to eat the blond haired boy.

"Koneko!" Rias shouted.

As the Monster was about to eat Kiba, Koneko jumped in its mouth and punched it with great strength sending it into the air.

"Akeno!" Rias said.

A bolt of lightning came down from the sky and struck the creature which caused a bright yellow explosion upon impact and it fell down to the ground. Akeno then started moaning and blushing as she saw what she just did.

Issei saw this and looked at Rias with some concern. "She is also really into S&M." Rias informed him, "Now it is time to finish the job."

Rias shot a red blast towards the monster which caused a giant explosion.

With Issei noticing this great power Akeno informed him, "That is why after all she is called the Empress of Annihilation, and she truly lives up to that name."

Issei looked at her and nodded before joining the rest of the group. But as everyone started heading out the monster shot out one last sneak attack, shooting a giant ball of acid at Rias.

[Boy heads up!] Thanatos told Issei.

Issei quicky looked towards the direction of the monster and saw the attack heading straight for them. The rest of the group turned around after seeing Issei turning around in concern. Rias was about to put up a barrier to block the projectile when she saw Issei in front of her. Issei, and even Rias knew that she wouldn't be able to put the barrier up in time. Issei had teleported in front of her to take the attack. Everyone was scared as they just witnessed what they thought was going to be Issei's death. They were all surprised when the acid started dissipating and Issei was perfectly fine.

"Wow. That didn't feel very nice, you pathetic creature." Issei said with anger in his voice. "You can't kill me for I choose who lives and who dies. I also decide if I want to accept pain or not feel anything at all, as well as decide if I want an attack to pass through me or hit me. And you just made one of the worst mistakes of your life."

Issei while giving a death glare at the monster started to form a black halo above his head as well as summoned his Reaper's Scythe which appeared from a cloud of black smoke. The monster went to attack the boy with a swipe of its claws only for it to pass right through him just like the other attack did.

"I guess you didn't hear what I said." Issei sneered. "No matter. For your ignorance I shall give you a quick death."

Issei then rushed the monster starting a strike right at its neck. Right before it hit, Issei yelled out one of his attacks, "Plague Scythe!"

The scythe's blade then changed into a black color with smoke rising from it. Issei landed the hit and cut its neck clean through. The monster and its head instantly vanished into a pile of ash. Issei released his halo and scythe causing them both to vanish. But as Issei was about to head back to his group and leave, he fainted.

He was only able to hear the distant sounds of everyone screaming "Issei!"

Line Break | At his house the next day

Issei started opening his eyes when he noticed that he was in his bed and that it was morning. Issei sits up and hears a familiar voice saying his name. "Issei your awake." The red haired king said as she well sits up.

This surprised Issei but not as much as seeing her naked in his bed.

"What are you doing here? What happened? Why are you naked?" Issei asked with a serious tone.

"Calm down we didn't do anything, I'm still a virgin. And I was in your bed with you because you blacked out last night after the battle and I had to take care of my cute pawn." She replied while looking at Issei's toned and hot body causing her to blush.

"Okay but why are you naked if all you were doing was taking care of me?" Issei asks Rias as she starts putting on her clothes.

"Because I can't sleep unless I'm naked." She says with a smile.

Issei shrugged it off and proceeded talking, "After what happened last night and the fact that I need to protect all of you I have decided to join your club."

"Yay!" Rias started, "In that case I will see you tomorrow after school at the ORC so that way we can get started working on your devil tasks."

"Alright see you then." He told her.

Rias then teleported out of his house. Issei just sat down and looked at his alarm clock. That is when he noticed it was Saturday. Issei made a habit of jogging around his city every Saturday even though he really didn't need it. As Issei was jogging he heard a girl make a squeal and turned his head to the right. He saw a blond haired girl in a nun's outfit kneeling on the ground like she just got hurt, he then proceeded to walk over to her to check to see if she was alright.
