A portal opened in the calm blue sky, and the Land Bounty comes crashing out of it and crashed into a snowy mountain. The Bounty bounced off the mountain and rolled down, bouncing again until it hit the air and landed upside down with a loud crash.

"Everyone … ok?" Lloyd asked as everyone hung upside down.

"Ugh. Great, now I know how my socks feel in the dryer." Cole groaned.

"I think I swallowed my teeth." Kai groaned.

"I don't feel good." Eleanor groaned.

The Ninja unbuckled themselves. Nya, Lloyd, Cole and William land on their feet, as Jay lands on his back, accidentally knocking over Eleanor and the two accidentally knock over Kai and he falls on top of the two.

"Ow." Jay whined. "I'm not liking this Realm so far."

"Me … ugh. Neither." Kai agreed as he picks himself up, then helps Eleanor up, but she falls into him.

"Where are we?" She complained as she clutched her stomach. "I'm about to toss my cookies."

Nya turns to jump up to press a screen, bringing up the map. "We're off the map." She said as she turns back around to face everyone. "Coordinates unknown."

"Then we made it." William said.

"From what Master Wu said, getting here isn't the hard part. It's getting home." Lloyd reminded, he looked around. "The Traveler's Tea?"

Cole looked around, then picks up the pouch.

"Could someone please give me a hood?" Eleanor begged, hands still clutching her stomach. "Cookies are coming up!" She cries and reaches over to grab Jay's hood, freaking him out.

"No,no,no,no!" He panicled. "Not mine!" He cries as he quickly pulls away and hides behind Cole.

Suddenly the Land Bounty started to shake and it tilted.

"What was that?" Jay asked, still hiding behind Cole.

Lloyd ran up to the front of the Bounty and looked through the windshield to see that they were dangling off a cliff. "Oh no."

"What? What is it?" Jay asked as he began walking forward.

Lloyd spins around. "No, don't!" He warns out. "We're dangling off a cliff!"

The Bounty again starts to shake, this time more furiously as it started to tilt more.

"We gotta get out of here!" Eleanor cried.

Nya turns to hit a screen and presses the button for the door. She jumps out, followed by Eleanor, the others ran out.

Eleanor ran to the other side of the snowy mountain and emptied her stomach, through emptying her stomach she saw the Land Bounty falling off the cliff and a distant crash, followed by Jay's scoff.

"Worst parking spot ever!"

Eleanor ignored the rest of the conversation as she continued to empty her stomach more. She slowly stood up as she wipes her mouth, making a disgusted face and wishing she had something to wash the nasty gunk out of her mouth. "Yuck!" She pulled her gloves off and tossed them down the mountain.

Eleanor turns back around and walks up to her friends.

"Nya, anything on the tracker?" Lloyd asked as he turns to her.

Nya pulls out the tracker and looked at it. "Nothing." She shook her head. "No signal."

"No, of course not!" Jay threw his arms out. "That would be too easy! That would give us hope!"

"Wo, what do we do?" William asked.

"We need to get off this mountain before we all freeze to death." Lloyd answered.

As the team started to walk, Jay jogged over to Cole. "Please tell me, you didn't knock Ellie up again."

"No." Cole shook his head. "I think she would've told me before we left for this place."

As the Ninja walked through the woods, Cole took Eleanor's hand and two hung back a little. "Apple Pie, are you ok?" He asked in concern, wrapping his arm around her and pulling her close.

"I never wanna go on a roller coaster ever again!" Eleanor answered as she sighed and rested the side of her head on his shoulder as they walked.

Up ahead of the two, Kai grabbed Nya's arm. "What's going on between you and Will?" He asked her as they start shivering from how cold it is now. "You guys haven't been able to look at each other." He paused. "Did he hurt you?!" He growled in anger. "I'll kill him!"

"No Kai, don't." Nya shook her head. "It's complicated right now."

"How complicated?" He questioned.

Growling is soon heard from behind the team. They turn around to see wolves approaching them.

"Run!" Lloyd yelled, the Ninja start to run as fast as they could and jump over fallen logs in the process. Lloyd ends up running into a tree and falling backwards into the snow.

Jay slides to a stop. "Lloyd!" He and the others run back to help Lloyd. That ended with the wolves surrounding them, but they never attacked.

"Wh, what's going on?" Eleanor asked, as Cole had his left arm in front of her protectively as she gripped the back of his gi.

The wolves continued to growl, till they see something behind the Ninja, scaring them off.

"Let's get out of here before they come back." Lloyd said.

The Ninja only walk a few steps before they come up to a clearing. Only to see people are frozen in blocks of ice.

"What happened to them?" Kai asked.

"Whoa." Nya walked up to one of the ice blocks and leaned the side of her head on the cold ice block. "I can hear a heartbeat!" She exclaims as she moves away. "Looks like they've been frozen."

Cole walked up to another block of ice and tried to punch it with his Earth Punch, but nothing happened, and he rubbed his left wrist. "Frozen by what?"

Suddenly the tracker starts to beep, Nya quickly pulls it out and looks at it. "Lloyd! I just picked up a faint signal. From the mech!"

"Where?" Cole asked, and Nya checks the tracker again. "That way." She points in a direction. "Due east."

The Ninja start to head in that direction, but Jay stops them. "But what about these people? We can't just leave them like this. They're still alive!"

"There's nothing we can do for them now." Lloyd told him. "We don't even know what happened."

"We have to keep moving." Nya added. "It'll be dark soon. We can come back and help them when we figure out what happened."

Jay nods, but it was clear he didn't like the idea of leaving these people behind.

The Ninja follow the signal. "The signal's very faint." Nya said as she looked down at the tracker. "Must be some interference or something."

"Maybe it's the cold." Cole suggested.

"Or the beacon on the Mech is."- Jay stopped talking when growling is soon heard from nearby. The team turn to see the wolves are back.

"Oh great!" Nya said.

"I'm getting a little tired of this!" Kai exclaimed.

"Here they come!" Jay cried. The Ninja pull on their hoods as the wolves leap at them.

"Let em have it!" Lloyd yells, throwing an energy ball at one of the wolves, knocking the animal back, but the other kept running towards him and jumped, only for it to be blasted side ways, Lloyd turns to see Eleanor had used her powers on the wolf.

Another wolf began to run towards Jay. "Haha!" Jay uses his lightning on the beast. Another wolf runs at him, knocking him down.

"Nya, use your powers!" Kai tells his sister as the siblings are now standing side-by-side. Nya tries, but it fails.

"I'm trying, but nothing's happening!"

Kai turns to her. "We're surrounded by water!" He yells at her.

"It's all frozen!" She yells back, as the siblings began backing away from an approaching wolf. "Why don't you use your powers!?"

"You know why I can't!" Kai yelled at her again. "It was stolen!"

"At least I'm not the one who feels hopeless!"

Eleanor backed up into a tree, wishing she could go through it as two wolves surrounded her on either side, she turns to see Nya and Kai still yelling at each other, William and Lloyd are holding their respective powers as they back away from a few wolves, and Cole and Jay had their backs pressed together as they are also surrounded by wolves.

Suddenly a bunch of arrows came out of nowhere. Kai and Nya stop arguing as the wolves are scared off and running away.

Eleanor fell to her knees in relief, Cole and Jay run over to her and each take an arm as they help her stand.

"I'm ok." She told them as three people came into view. Two men and a woman. The woman gestured for the Ninja to follow her.

The Ninja regroup as they look at each other, not knowing what else to do, they followed the three people to a village, on top of a frozen lake, they walked towards a house that was in the middle of the village, the people led the Ninja into the house and were immediately welcomed by a roaring fire in the middle of room. And elderly woman is sitting by it.

"Come, come. Warm yourselves." The woman welcomed with a cheerful and friendly smile.

The Ninja quickly headed straight for the warmth of the fire. "Thank you, thank you." Kai thanked as he sat down by it, and his sister sat next to him.

Jay sighs as he sits down, Lloyd and William sit on either side of him. "That feels so good." The lightning Ninja said.

"Who are you?" Eleanor asked as she sat down with Cole sitting next to her.

"What is this place?" Lloyd also asked.

"Oh, this is my home." The woman answered. "I am Sorla, of the People of Great Lake. Who are you? Where do you come from?"

"My name is Eleanor." Eleanor answered. "These are my friends. Cole, Lloyd, Jay, William, Nya and her brother, Kai." She introduced, and each of the Ninja gave a friendly wave.

"And we come from far away." Lloyd added.

"Beyond the forest?" Sorla asked.

"Yes." Lloyd nods, the three people gasp.

"Beyond the mountains?" Sorla asked again.

"We come from … from a place called Ninjago. We're looking for a friend of ours. His name is Zane."

"Oh, we have seen no one for many years. We are the last tribe on the ice. The others have fled south, and soon, we too must go." Sorla explained. "The cold grows too strong. The ice, too thick. But perhaps, Sorla can help. Look, come. Look into the hearth fire." She took some dust from a bowl in her hands and threw it into the fire, it immediately turned green.

The Ninja gasp at the sight. Sorla turns to Lloyd.

"Tell me again the name of your friend."

"Zane." The blonde answered.

"And the place from which he came?"

"Ninjago." Eleanor answered.

Sorla closed her eyes. "Show us, spirits of the earth, spirits of the lake. Show us the fate of Zane from Ninjago."

The fire suddenly exploded into the air to show an image of a castle that's surrounded by ice, and the Ninja gasp at it.

One of the men gasped. "The Emperor!"

"The Castle of Ice!" The other man gasped.

"I … I am sorry for your loss." Sorla told the Ninja as the image disappeared.

"What do you mean?" Lloyd asked.

"You cannot save your friend!" Sorla exclaimed as she stood up. "He has been taken prisoner by the Ice Emperor. For decades, he has ruled this realm, crushing all who stand in his way. His Ice Castle is on the other side of the mountains. A bitter foul place where the ice is corrupt. A place we do not go."

"Zane is there? In that castle?" Lloyd asked as he stood up, Sorla sadly nods. "Can you show us the way?"

"You cannot! It is too cold! The ice there is evil! Dark Ice!" Sorla stood up. "No one goes there but the Emperor and his Blizzard Samurai. And they are inhuman. Only a fool would go there. Your friend is lost."

"Wait a minute!" Eleanor cried, pushing herself up. "Please, isn't there something you can do? Zane's my brother in law! I promised my sister that we would not come home without him!"

"Ellie, calm down." Lloyd told her calmly, as the other Ninja stood up, the blonde turns back to Sorla. "Zane's strong. We know him. And he would never give up on us, and we're not going to give up on him!"

"Yeah!" Kai agreed.

"Yeah!" Cole exclaimed, putting his arm around Eleanor. "And if you think we're not fools, you've got another thing coming!"

"Ninja never quit." Nya said.

"All of you speak as one?" Sorla asked as she turned to face the Ninja.

"We are a team, and we speak as one." Lloyd answered with confidence.

"Your friend is very fortunate." Sorla said with a smiled, then her smile faded. "But be warned. The Emperor's General, Vex, sees many things. The Dark Ice serves him. If he knows you are here, he will warn the Emperor."

"Vex?" Lloyd asked.

"He will send his Samurai. They feel nothing. They fear nothing. They will come for you." Sorla warns.
