John Tracy had been planet-side for three weeks now and would be for the foreseeable future. His fiancée was due to give birth to their first child any day now. John was nervous about becoming a dad. Scott was currently manning Thunderbird Five.

It was shortly after dinner on Tracy Island. Onaha and Kyrano were sorting out the kitchen. Jeff and Brains were discussing something to do with one of the Thunderbirds. Virgil was at the piano. Gordon was on his phone, likely messaging his girlfriend Pippa, it was morning for her. John was sat with a book. He looked up as Lou left the room, saying she needed a lie-down. She had been getting twinges all day and had been feeling a bit nauseous.
"She'll be fine" Virgil told his brother.

A little while later, John went to check on his fiancée. Not ten minutes later, he ran back into the sitting room.
"Virg? I need you to come with me" John said, a slight panic in his voice.
"What's wrong?" Virgil replied.
"Lou's in labour" John replied. Virgil told John to go back to Lou and that he would be there momentarily before running out the sitting room.

Jeff went to his office and called Scott to tell him the news, and to get any updates. Scott had been thrilled for his brother and asked to be kept up to date. Jeff also sent Alan a message to tell him the news. He had almost called Alan, then realised it would be the early hours of the morning for him, so he would be asleep.

Jeff then re-joining the others in the sitting room, where Kyrano and Onaha had joined the others. Gordon had got the cards out and they were all playing.
"Deal you in, Dad?" Gordon asked as he walked in. "The game is Twenty-One."
"Go on then" Jeff sat down.

A few hours later and they moved on to Poker, at which point Onaha had left to make drinks for everyone. No one would be going to bed until the baby arrived. Jeff had also got a reply from Alan, asking he be kept in the loop, and to send pictures when the baby arrived.
"I see your hundred, and raise you a hundred" Gordon said to Brains. They were the last two in on this round.
"S-see you, r-r-raise you a-another h-h-hundred" Brains replied. Gordon raised again, by another hundred.
"It's a boy!" John called, running into the sitting room. They had decided not to find out beforehand. Everyone cheered and came to hug John. With a smile, he left to return to Lou.

A little while later, Virgil came in the room, saying they could go through and see the baby. Jeff and Gordon stood and made their way to John's room
"Knock knock" Jeff said, poking his head around the slightly open door, Gordon stood behind him. John was on the bed next to Lou, the tiny bundle in his arms. John smiled at his dad and brother and climbed off the bed.
"I would like you to meet Tyler John Tracy" John said as he passed the infant to his dad.
"Hello there Tyler" Jeff smiled and turned to the couple. "Congratulations to you both." As promised, Jeff snapped a few pictures and sent them to Alan.
