Lou Collins was at her parents house. She was getting married the next day. She smiled at her ivory dress, hanging up on the back of the bedroom door. Her son, Tyler, was fast asleep in the travel cot at the end of the bed. He was a year old now. With one final check on Tyler, she climbed into bed herself and went to sleep.
She couldn't wait to marry John.

At a hotel near the church where the wedding was to be held, John Tracy and his brothers, Scott, Virgil, Gordon, and Alan, were all in the suite John was staying in. They'd had a few drinks, and were talking about anything and everything. Their dad, Jeff, had joined them initially. Soon, his brothers left and John got himself ready for bed.
He couldn't wait to marry Lou.

Lou was waiting for her bridesmaids to arrive. They were all getting ready together. She had asked her best friend from school, Carol, and her cousin Poppy, as well as Hope, Pippa, and Tin-Tin, who were dating Scott, Gordon and Alan respectively, and family friend Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward.
A pink car soon pulled up outside her parents house and Lady Penelope, Tin-Tin, Hope, and Pippa stepped out of the car. Lady Penelope's Butler / Chauffeur, Parker, helped them with their things before heading off again. He was charged with making sure John was at the church on time. Carol and Poppy both arrived soon after the others.

In her wedding dress and with a veil on her head, Lou stepped out of the limo. On her wrist was a bracelet that had once belonged to her late mother-in-law, Lucille. Jeff had popped over the night before to give it to her. Lucille had worn it the day she had married Jeff, and the idea was that she would pass it onto any daughters they may have, for them to wear on their wedding day. Jeff had kept the bracelet so that when each of his sons got married, their bride could wear it. He had also kept the cuff-links he had worn, for his sons to wear. Her parents, Tin-Tin, Hope, Pippa, Lady Penelope, Carol, and Poppy followed her out the limo. Tyler was in her mom's arms. He looked so sweet in his little suit. The other girls were all in navy dresses, even Lady P had foregone her usual pink. With a kiss on her cheek, her mom, Olivia, entered the church, taking Tyler with her.
"Ready?" her dad, Luke, asked.
"Ready" Lou replied, a smile on her face as they linked arms. The other girls paired up and the procession started.
As she entered the church, she saw John was standing with his dad and brothers. The music began and they walked down the aisle. They approached John and her dad placed her hand in John's, clapping John on the shoulder in a friendly manner as he stepped away.
"Welcome, everyone" the priest began. "We are here today to celebrate the love of this young couple, and join them in the bond of Matrimony."

The ceremony had gone without a hitch, they had all had a lovely meal, and the reception was now in full swing. Her first dance with John was to Dancing in the Moonlight by Toploader. With her dad's input, she had chosen Because you Loved Me by Celine Dion for the Father-Daughter dance. They had also done a dance which was John and Olivia, and Lou and Jeff. Lou had ended up dancing with all the Tracy boys over the course of the evening.

The party carried on until late. Some, like Lou's parents, had left relatively early. They had taken Tyler with them for the night. The entire day had been perfect.
