Lightning Dust, a pegasus from Equestria, was looking at Applejack and Doctor Whooves work on the raft.

Next to Lightning Dust was Tucker. She didn't know him that much. She had only been with him when they followed Zuud to find the distress signal."Hey," She said to the armored soldier."Do you think that raft's going to work?"

"Well, I hope so." Said Tucker."I think I would rather be in Blood Gulch Canyon than this Island."

Lightning Dust wondered what Blood Gulch was when she heard Applejack, Whooves, Valance, and a few other people talking to someone named Indiana Jones. Lightning Dust and Tucker went to over to the raft.

Indiana Jones was a male human who had also woken up on this Island. He wore a white shirt and a brown leather jacket. He also wore a brown fedora over his brown hair. Lightning Dust saw that he had a brown whip and a gun that was holstered. The gun looked a little like Billy Handsome's gun.

"Sure, you can absolutely wait a few weeks before you launch. I was just assuming you didn't want to die." Indiana Jones said to them.

"So, when can we launch?" Applejack asked him.

Jones shrugged."3, maybe 4, months."

"And why the hell are we listening to this guy?" Asked Valance.

"Because I'm a doctor and your just a robot," Indiana said.

"I'm a cyborg." Valance corrected."And your just a damn archeologist." For some reason, Indiana reminded Valance of Han Solo.

"Valance," Vanto said firmly."Let him talk."

Valance looked at Vanto and let Indy talk.

"It's been raining every afternoon." Indiana said."That means that we are on the cusp of monsoon season. And monsoon season is bad. Now, the trade winds are blowing north right now. Shipping lanes are north. So north is exactly where you want to be."

"What does that mean?" Applejack questioned.

"It means that when monsoon season hits the trade winds are going to shift to the south. The raft goes with the wind. Can anyone tell me what is the only piece of land that is south of us?" Indiana quizzed.

...

"Oh, I just realized, your from those Indiana Jones movies." Said Tucker after a long moment of silence about thinking of Indy's question. Everyone looked at him, confused by what he meant.

"What?" Indy looked at him, confused. He shook his head to focus."Antarctica. Antarctica is the only piece of land that is south of us."

"So when do we have to leave?" Applejack asked him.

"Yesterday," Indy said before he walked away from them.

Applejack was going back to her tent when Lightning Dust ran over to her. Lightning Dust was aware that Applejack didn't like since she had nearly killed her and the other Mane Six member and put Scootaloo in danger.

"So, do you believe him?" The pegasus asked.

Applejack looked at her suspiciously before she sighed."I don't know but I'm not taking any chances."

"Do you think you'll be ready by tomorrow?" Lightning Dust questioned.

"The man said not a day to waste." Applejack said, looking at her tent.

"Are the supplies all set? You've got food, fresh water?"

The orange mare looked back at her."Why are you so interested?" Applejack asked her.

"Because I'm going with you." Lightning said.

The element of honesty shook her head."Look, the raft's full. We need 4, we got 4."

"Including Valance?"

Applejack nodded."Including him. We needed the stuff he had so he bought his way on."

"But he doesn't even know how to sail, does he?"

"And you do?"

Lightning Dust stood there for a moment. She shook her head."No."

"I'm sorry, but a deal's a deal." Applejack told her.

"You're bringing Applebloom, too?" Lightning Dust asked. Applejack looked at her."I'm just saying it's dangerous."

"I decide what's best for my little sister." Applejack said."And right now, what's best for him is to get the heck off this Island. The raft's full."

Flashback.

Lightning Dust knocked on the door, waiting for it to open.

When it did, she saw somepony she knew.

"Lightning Dust!" Lucky Feather, a male pegasus with a light green coat, said in surprise. Lucky Feather's cutie mark had a four-leaf clover and he had a blue mane."What are you doing here?"

"I want to talk." She said.

On the Island.

"How much further?" Vanto asked Zuud as they walked through the jungle.

Zuud had wanted Vanto to follow her. She said she needed to show him something.

"We're almost there," Zuud said.

Vanto looked at her."Do you to tell me where we're going, Zuud?"

"Trust me. It's better that you see it for yourself." Zuud said.

"No, I'm not so sure that it is." Vanto stopped walking."Tell me why you brought me out here or I'm going to turn around."

Before Zuud could say anything, Tarkin walked over to them."She brought you out because I asked her to. I asked her not to tell you. I wanted you to have an open mind."

Vanto raised an eyebrow."Open mind about what?"

"Follow me and you will see, Vanto." Tarkin said. Vanto reluctantly followed him and Zuud.

All three walked to a grey, metal hatch. Vanto stared at the hatch in shock and confusion.

"What...what is this thing?" Vanto asked.

"I don't know. But I think we should talk about it." Tarkin said.

Applejack was pulling some metal on a metal sled to the raft. She pulled the rope with her mouth."Hey, pony," Said Valance to her."Doctor Whooves has been packing some fish in one of the small Imperial crates. We can't catch fish?"

Applejack looked at him."Do you know anything about surviving at sea? Sailing, navigating, steering a raft?"

"Do you?" Valance asked.

"It doesn't matter what I know, I built it." Applejack said."Maybe you are the wrong guy to go on the raft."

"You're going to vote me off?" Valance asked, surprised."And who's going to take my place?"

Valance walked over to Lightning Dust."What do you think you're doing?"

Lightning Dust, who was just staring at the sea, looked at the cyborg."I'm sorry?"

"Applejack just told me you were trying to get my spot on the raft."

"Yeah. Because I'm getting on that raft." Lightning Dust told him."And you can't stop me."

Valance stared at her for a long moment."You know, I wonder whose handcuffs Applebloom found belong to..." The cyborg said before he walked away.

Lightning Dust's eyes widened.

"Hey, Applebloom," Said Applejack said to her sister."Can you give me that water bottle?"

"Sure." The filly said, giving it to her sister.

"Thanks." Applejack said, taking a sip from it.

"What were you and Valance arguing about?" Applebloom asked.

"I told him something he didn't want to hear." Applejack said.

"Why does Valance want to get on the raft so much?" Applebloom asked.

Applejack had never asked Valance why he wanted to go on the raft."Because he knows it's going to work." She told her sister.

"When we get rescued, we're going to come back for everybody else, right?" Applebloom said.

"Yeah, sure. The thing is...finding the Island again might be hard." Applejack said.

Applebloom was confused."Why?"

"Well, we'll be far away from it so we won't be sure where to find it." Applejack explained. Suddenly, the orange mare felt sick.

"Applejack?" Applebloom said, noticing Applejack looking a little sick.

"Ah'm alright..." Applejack said before she groaned in pain. She then fell over.

"Applejack!" Applebloom yelled, shocked.

"Get Nurse Redheart." Applejack was able to say.

Applebloom quickly left to find her.

"Help!" Applebloom yelled, running over to Princess Luna and Derpy."I need help. It's mah sister."

"What is the matter, Applebloom?" Luna asked.

"She's in pain. I think it's her stomach." The filly said."Ah need Nurse Redheart."

Luna looked at Derpy."Take her back to Applejack. I'll go get Nurse Redheart."

Applebloom took Derpy to Applejack while Luna looked for the Nurse.

"How long have you known about this?" Vanto asked, still looking at the hatch.

"At least 3 weeks. We found it while we were looking for Jeela and Tucker." Tarkin told him.

"3 weeks." Vanto said."You've been out here for 3 weeks digging this thing up and you never told me about it?" Vanto didn't care if he was a Grand Moff. He was mad at him for keeping this secret.

"Do you know who I am? Why should I report to you?" Tarkin asked."You are just a traitor to Empire. You had so much potential. Thrawn would be disappointed with you."

Vanto had to calm himself down. He clenched his fist in anger."Alright...how do we open it?"

Zuud looked at him, surprised."What? You want to open it?"

Vanto nodded."Yeah."

"We should bury it! I brought you here to talk him out of this insanity. Anything could be inside!" Zuud exclaimed.

"Best case scenario, there's supplies. Worst case, we use it as a shelter." Vanto told her.

"Actually, Vanto, I can think of much worse cases than that. Do you notice anything about this hatch? There's no handle. Could the reason for that be more obvious?!" Zuud yelled."Maybe it was never meant to be opened from the outside."

"Nurse Redheart!" Luna yelled, looking for her."Nurse Redheart!"

"Yes?" Redheart asked, coming out of her tent.

"It's Applejack. Something's wrong." Luna told her.

Applejack was in pain. Redheart was checking her.

"What did you eat today?" Redheart asked the element of honesty.

"Just some fruit and fish." She said.

"Are you drinking enough water?"

"2 or 3 bottles." Said Applejack.

"Where are you getting that water from?" Redheart asked.

"You know, the caves, like everybody else." She said.

"Alright, listen, Applejack. Just take it easy, okay? I need you to stay in the shade and try not to move too much, okay."

Applejack shook her head. She tried to get up."No. We have to launch that raft tomorrow. We have to."

"I know, I know." Redheart said."I need you to lay back."

Applejack, reluctantly, laid back.

Flashback.

"So, you work at the weather factory." Lightning Dust noted, looking at some pictures in Lucky Feather's house. One of the pictures showed him at the weather factory. Lucky Feather lived in a cloud house in the sky.

Lucky Feather nodded."Yeah. It pays pretty well."

Lightning Dust noticed a picture of a foal with Lucky Feather and his wife."His name's Fast Flyer." Lucky Feather said.

"How old is he?" Lightning Dust asked.

"He's about eight months old. My wife took him Cloudsdale for the week to visit her folks." Lucky smiled, looking at the picture. He then looked at Lightning Dust."What did you want to talk about?"

"I was hoping we could fly together one last time before...before I get taken away." She said. When she was a little filly, her only friend had been Lucky Feather.

"Taken away? What do you mean?"

"I...I did something bad. I nearly killed a filly named Scootaloo." Lightning Dust admitted."And...I think they're going to arrest me soon. So, I thought I could fly with you."

Lucky Feather was silent for a long moment. He was surprised by what she said about killing a filly. But this could be the last time he could see her.

"Alright. Let's fly." Lucky Feather said.

On the Island.

"What do you think it is?" Tarkin asked Redheart, wondering what was wrong with Applejack."Heatstroke?"

Redheart shook her head."No, she would have felt that coming on."

"Bad fruit? Raw fish?" Tarkin asked.

"Applejack and Whooves are on the same diet," Redheart said.

"Well, Whoove's fine," Tarkin noted, seeing Whooves still work on the raft.

Redheart looked at the water bottles near the raft."Whoove's fine. What was making him sick was metabolized fast. It hit him quick and it hit him hard."

Tarkin noticed that she was looking at the water bottles."So you think it was the water."

Redheart grabbed the water bottle to show some white stuff under the water in the bottle."No, I don't think it was the water. I think it was something in the water."

Redheart went to check on Applejack again. Vanto was with her."Are you feeling any better?" Redheart asked.

"The cramps are quieting down. As long as I don't move or breathe." Applejack told her. Applejack noticed Tarkin was talking to Stuhlinger. She looked at Vanto."Are you and Tarkin okay?"

Vanto nodded, lying.

Applejack was about to grab the water bottle with white stuff. Redheart quickly stopped her.

"What?" Applejack asked, confused at why Redheart stopped her.

"Drink from that one." She pointed to another water bottle.

"Somebody did this to me?" Applejack asked.

"I don't know. I'm not sure of anything yet." Redheart said.

"It was Valance." Applejack told them.

"I'm on bamboo duty, but yeah, sometimes I help refill the water." Stuhlinger said to Tarkin.

"Are Applejack and Whooves getting along?" Tarkin asked.

Stuhlinger nodded."Yeah, they get along pretty well."

Tarkin looked at Vanto and Redheart who were walking over to them."Did you tell her?"

Vanto nodded."She thinks Valance might have done it."

"Oh, because of that pony, Lightning Dust?" Stuhlinger said.

"Lightning Dust?" Vanto raised an eyebrow, confused.

"Yeah, I guess she wants on the raft. So Valance went off on Applejack because, you know, he gets to decide who goes." Stuhlinger said."Hey, you don't think Lightning Dust did it, do you?

Vanto and Tarkin looked at each other.

Jeela was looking at her baby, who was in the crib that had been built for him. Jeela was thinking about when she would get off the Island. She wondered if she should return to be being an Imperial TIE pilot or live a life taking care of her son.

"Hey, Jeela." Said Tucker walking over to her.

"Hi." She said, smiling at him.

"I just wanted to ask...what are you gonna do when we got off the Island?" Tucker said.

Jeela was silent. She looked at the ocean."I don't know."

"Hey, Lightning Dust," Vanto said to the pegasus.

Lightning Dust turned around to look at him."How's Applejack? I heard she wasn't feeling good."

"She's going to be fine." Vanto said. She didn't know Lightning Dust very well.

"Is somebody going to be taking her place on the raft?" Lightning Dust asked.

"I don't know."

"Because, you know, Dr. Jones said if they leave tomorrow-"

"Did you poison Applejack?" Vanto suddenly asked.

Her eyes widened."What?"

"She's not sick. Someone did this." Vanto told her.

"Do you really think I'm capable of that?"

"I don't know what you're capable of."

Lightning Dust glared at him angrily before she left.

Tarkin was at the caves, checking the wound on his leg. He noticed Applebloom walking over to him.

"What happened?" She asked.

"I had a little accident," Tarkin told her.

"Does it hurt?" Applebloom saw no pain on his face.

"Yep. Is there something you want to tell me, Applebloom?"

"Don't open it," Applebloom told him.

Tarkin raised an eyebrow."What?"

"Don't open it, Mr. Tarkin. Don't open that thing or else something bad will happen to the multiverse."

Now Tarkin was really confused."Multiverse? What are you talking about?"

"Just don't open it." Applebloom said before she left him.

Valance walked over to the raft and threw a bottle of medicine to Applejack."Here. That will make you feel better." The bounty hunter said to her.

"Are ya' feeling guilty?" Applejack said weakly.

Valance was confused."What?"

Applejack stared at him for a long moment."You're off the raft."

"Come again?"

"You're off the raft!" She yelled.

"We had a deal." Valance said angrily.

"Yeah, well, the deal ended the minute you decided to poison me." She said.

"I did what?"

Applejack just shook her head, disgusted."Ah'm done with you."

"No, you're not done with me at all. You said you needed 4!"

"I've got 4!" Applejack yelled."Lightning Dust is coming with us! You've been stealing stuff off of dead bodies, keeping it for yourself, using it to buy favors like Billy Handsome is doing. You're a liar and a criminal, and I'm not letting you near mah sister!"

"Oh, I'm a criminal, huh?! I poisoned you because I'm a criminal!" He said angrily. He then quickly left her and went over to Lightning Dust. He grabbed her front left leg."I had no idea how bad you wanted off this rock. Time to set things straight."

Valance pulled Lightning Dust over to Applejack. People from the beach ran over to them to see what was going on.

"Let go of me." Lightning Dust said.

"Hey, leave her alone!" Said Tucker.

"Tell him!" Valance yelled.

"Leave her alone!" Applejack yelled at him.

"Leave her alone?" Valance pulled handcuffs out of his pocket."Look. These are the handcuffs Applebloom found." Valance looked at the pegasus."I saw her taking off her handcuffs on the day we woke up here." Valance said."She's a criminal! She might have even poisoned Applejack!"

"Shut up!" Lightning Dust yelled.

"She doesn't care about anybody at all," Valance said.

Flashback.

Lightning Dust and Lucky Feather flew in the sky."It's a beautiful day." Lucky Feather said, looking at the blue sky as they flew.

Lightning Dust nodded in agreement. She then noticed something. It was a narrow ravine with two logs. It was the same she and Rainbow Dash went to when Lightning Dust was at the Wonderbolts academy."Hey," She said to Lucky Feather."Let's fly through there."

"Okay." Said Lucky. They both flew over but Lucky that he wasn't going to be able to make it through."Wait, I don't think both of us will be able to fit through there."

Lightning Dust kept flying."Just get behind me." She said. Lucky did so but couldn't see much.

When Lightning Dust went through the wooden logs, she heard a sickening crunch behind her.

She turned around and was horrified at what she saw. Lucky Feather's head had hit the log and his head had been destroyed by it.

"Lucky!" She screamed. But it didn't matter.

Lucky Feather was dead.

On the Island.

"Do you want to tell us why you need to be on that raft so bad? Do you want to tell us the truth?"

"Those handcuffs were mine." Lightning Dust admitted."I...did something bad." She looked at Applejack."But I didn't poison you."

Everyone stared at Lightning Dust, shocked. They then left, leaving her alone.

Derpy looked at Whooves working on the raft.

"He looks determined," Vanto said to Derpy.

Derpy looked at him before she looked back at Whooves."Yeah, he is."

"You don't want him to go, do you?"

"No." Derpy said.

"Is that why you tried to make him sick?" Vanto asked. Derpy looked at him, surprised."Applejack and Whooves working together a lot...it's pretty easy for them to get their water bottles mixed

Derpy sighed."I...I didn't want him to die out there. I just didn't know what to do. I only used enough to make him...I wasn't trying to hurt him. Are you going to tell the others?"

Vanto shook his head."I don't see any reason why they need to know. But Derpy, he's going. If I were you, I'd say goodbye."

"I guess you're leaving then," Luna said to Valance.

Valance looked at her."Yeah. I am." He said.

I still have to save Han Solo. And find Jova. Valance thought.

"So," Said Billy Handsome, walking over Lightning Dust."I heard that you were a criminal."

"What do you want?" Lightning Dust asked.

Handsome was silent for a very long moment.."Someone to talk to, I guess."

Lightning Dust was surprised by this but she didn't tell him to go away. She wanted someone to talk to as well.

"Applejack," Said Applebloom. It was now night and everyone was going to their tents to go to bed.

"Yeah?" Applejack said, looking at her little sister.

"Fiddlesticks is still missing," Applebloom said.

Applejack sighed."Ah know. Ah suppose we could stay a little longer to find Fiddlesticks-"

"No." Applebloom said."We need to leave."
