"It's been three days, I can't stay home anymore." Andy started to protest.

Robert chuckled a few times before continuing to ignore her.

"What is so funny?" She asked crossing her arms.

"You. Acting like a child." He chuckled again and Andy threw a pillow at him.

"Oh so that is how it's going to be." He got up and picked her up carrying her through the house.

"Let me down. Now!"

After a few minutes carrying her around and Andy punching him in the back, he let her down.

"Well, I can't be miserable forever. It's going to be hard days ahead of me but for now it's good." She offered a smile and he smiled back.

"Tomorrow we are back at work so can we do something fun today?" Andy asked.

"You really want to go back tomorrow?"

"How about we go on a date?" Robert debated how to start the conversation so this was a perfect opportunity.

"What?" She was shocked, she almost dropped the glass she was holding.

Robert shrugged, got up and casually walked to the kitchen like he asked some regular question.

"Robert?!" She yelled almost choking on her water.

He found this amusing and started laughing. He loved to tease her. He was so nervous since this was something both of them waited feels like forever.

"What?!" He smiled.

"Did she... sign?"

He didn't say anything but the silence said it all.

The shock took over Andy's body. Tears formed in her eyes.

"You are saying we..." Instead of letting her finish he took her chin and kissed her.

"It can wait. We have some business here to do."

After a few hours both of them showered and of course they were hungry.

Andy started to get dressed and Robert observed her every move.

The night turned to be rainy so it was perfect for them to stay in and cuddle on the couch while some trashy TV played in the back.

"You live with him?"

"I didn't know you two were roommates."

"He is mostly at Vic's so... kinda we are, kinda we aren't." He chuckled.

During the night Andy woke up feeling someone hugging her from behind. She couldn't believe this actually happened. It was like a dream. She took his hands in hers and drifted back to sleep.

"Andy, Andy..." Robert started whispering on her ear trying to wake her up.

She started to wake up but she turned and got closer to him not wanting to open her eyes.

"That was before..."

A few minutes after she started yelling from the bathroom.

They came in separate cars but almost at the same time like everyone.

"Okay, okay. Time to work now." Vic pushed her playfully into her office and closed the door.

Shift was very busy, they barely had time to eat not to mention rest. Thankfully the night looked like it's going to be easy.
Andy took a bath and went to her bunk thinking Robert left home since it was pass his shift.

She was lying in her bunk half dressed, half went and half asleep when Robert entered quietly.

"I thought you left." Sleepy voice said.

"I brought food. You can't function without it." He sat next to her.

"Aww, thanks. You didn't have to. I think I don't have the strength to even chew."

"C'mon don't be dramatic. You would jump from this bed if a call comes. Now get up and eat."

"Bossy all the way I see." She let out a chuckle.

"That's why you love me." He smiled. "Oh crap, too soon? Is there a specific time when it needed to be said..."

Andy stopped his rambling by putting her finger on his lips and then giving him a sloppy kiss.

"I do love you." Andy whispered between kisses while cupping his face.

"I know you do and I love you too." Robert smiled during their make out session. "Now eat before this became something more than make out because it's headed in that direction." He chuckled breaking the kiss and giving her a plate.

"Fine." Andy rolled her eyes.

"Tired for eating but not tired for sex. I like it." Robert stated getting up.

"Uhm where do you think you are going, mr. Battalion chief?"

"Home."

"Oo no no no. You are staying here." Andy tapped the other side of her bed. "Enough room for two."

"Of course it's enough room when you sleep glued to me..." Andy tried to protest but Robert was quick to continue. "And I wouldn't wanted it any other way." He finished his sentence laying behind her and pulling her closer as possible.

One hour after AidCar got a call which woke up both of them but Robert soothed her whispering to go back to sleep and she was out in no time.

In the morning Andy woke up first and seeing him still in the same position like last night, still holding her tight, she couldn't help but think to herself 'How am I so lucky to be in love with this kind of man. He is beyond perfect'. Yet again a little voice of suspicion didn't give her peace. She was feeling guilty for even thinking these kind of stuff.

'Does a perfect man exist? Does he have some hidden intentions?'

Andy was quick to shake her head and quickly erase these kind of thoughts. Robert was really perfect in every way. Her staring at him woke Robert up.

"Good morning to you too." His raspy voice brought her back from her thoughts.

"Morning, my love." She was quick to settle back in his embrace.

Robert kissed her forehead and she wrapped her arms, as much as possible, around his waist.

Robert's phone chimed and it was Ripley.

"I gotta go, Ripley is in my office."

"Okay." She got up too and got out of the office after him.

"Hey Luke, what's up?"

"Hey Bob, you never come home last night so..."

"Yeah, I stayed." He said smiling and scratching back of his head.

"I figure. Sit, we need to talk."

"Okay, why so serious..."

"So I know I said you can stay as long as you want but I kinda want to ask Vic to move in so I was wondering did you talk to Andy..."

"I didn't, yet. I don't know, man... Is it too early? We're together a few months..."

"When you know, you know..." Lucas added.

"Definitely, yeah. I agree. But I don't want to rush everything. Of course I want everything with her, here and now but I'm afraid I will suffocate her. Being together here and home."

"Stop, man. Do you hear yourself? You two are practically glued to each other. You are never home..."

"Yeah, I guess so."

"Talk to her, ask her. We have time, it doesn't have to be today."

Robert's phone rang and interrupted them as they went to the beanery.

Andy went to the beanery to grab some breakfast before heading home. Most of the team was there eating and joking. So she went by the kitchen counter to make some cereals.

"So Andy..." Jack started.

"Yes, Jack?" Andy rolled her eyes knowing he will ask some dumb question since he was referring to her as 'Andy'.

"Are you enjoying sleeping with the Battalion chief?"

Andy just stood there first her eyes catches Maya's. Maya threw her hands in the air lip syncing 'It wasn't me.'

Then to Vic but Vic said at loud 'Definitely not me.' Same as Travis.

"So it's true. I wasn't sure I saw him entering your office last night but I got my confirmation now." Jack said proudly.

"Fuck off Jack. It's non of your business." She said a little bit louder and both Ripley and Sullivan heard it entering the beanery.

"So what are you gonna do, huh? Report me?"

"Who needs to be reported?" Ripley said approaching the table.

"No one, sir." Andy said annoyed.

"Will your life be more fulfilled now that you have this info?" Andy asked sarcastically but Jack ignored.

"What was that call about? You changed you facial expression in seconds?" Ripley asked Sullivan but Robert was only focused on Andy being suddenly angry and throwing her bowl in the sink.

"Wha... what did you ask?" He said after Ripley hit him in the arm.

"The call..."

"Oh right. I gotta go." He left without answering him.

"Andy what was that..." but her didn't finish his sentence Andy slammed the door basically in his face.

"Uhm okay..." He hold the door and got in after her closing the door.

"I just need to get out of here or I will break something." She said frustrated.

"What Jack said?"

"He... he asked me how was it to sleep with a Battalion chief? Satisfied?" Andy shouted as she tried to get out.

"Hey! No need to be rude to me." Robert said after the initial shock on his face was brushed off.

Andy ignored him and just went home.

After deep cleaning the whole apartment and letting go of all the anger she remembered she's been rude to Robert for no reason.

"Oh fuck." She said while trying to find her phone.

When she found it, there wasn't a text or anything.

"Double fuck." She said while typing an apology message to him.

The message was delivered but not read. Not after 5 minutes, bot even after 15 minutes. So she decided to make her something to eat.

After 2 hours still no seen or replay so she called him but nothing.

"Okay this is weird."

A few seconds passed and the door opened. It was him. A huge relief fell off of her shoulders seeing him.

"What the hell, Robert?"

"What now?" He threw his hands in the air.

"I've been calling and texting!"

"I've noticed but I was driving..."

"What happened Robert? Not my business but where were you?" She asked seeing him being off.

"I got a call about Anne. Before you say anything and get mad... she never removed me from being her emergency contact that's why they called me." He got himself a glass of water and sat on the chair.

"She died. She had an accident last night and they called me to identify her body." He said within one breath and looked at Andy.

"Oh Robert." She sat next to him rubbing his back. "Why didn't you tell me? I could've go with you?"

"You didn't give me a chance to speak, you just stormed outside."

"Triple fuck." She got up.

Confusion was evident on Robert's face.

"Nothing. Ignore me and my ungrateful ass." She sat back. "I'm sorry... for everything that happened today." She rested her head on his shoulders.

"Why you reacted that way? You didn't have that reaction when Travis or Maya found out?" He moved to face her.

"It's because... he had a crush on me when he first came to the station and I told him I would never date a firefighter so he would back off."

"Didn't we said we will share everything?" He said annoyed and got up.

"Robert..."

"I have to clear my head a little bit. I'll come back." And he left leaving Andy feeling a lot of things but nothing define.

Robert, of course, came back bringing their favorite dessert. He wasn't mad at her or Jack or anyone. He just needed to be alone.

He found Andy looking at old albums of pics with her dad. He joined her on the floor and they went trough a whole album together and Andy told him stories about her childhood.

He got up and brought the wine and 2 glasses and opened a box with their dessert.

"What are we celebrating?"

"Why do you think it's celebration?"

"Oh please. You did this when I got out of the hospital, we celebrated even tho I was half dead. We did it after my first day back, we..."

"Okay, okay. Got it." He interrupted. "Depends..." he added giving her a glass.

Andy raised her eyebrows giving him a sign to continue...

"Depends on you actually... See I wanted to..." Robert got all nervous so he took their glasses and put them on the table.

"What do you think about finding our own place?"
