"Andy, c'mon this is day 5 of just scrolling trough listings. Can we go and actually see the apartment?"

"I know it is but I don't want to see it if I don't like what I'm seeing here." Andy said showing the screen of the computer.

"I did but you turned to Apartment Godzilla and it's tiring."

"I didn't ask you to bring all of your stuff here so now you don't have anywhere to run from me." She teased to annoy him even more.

You know I'm working tomorrow and you have a free day, so do those little things tomorrow when I'm not here." Robert said and sat on the couch crossing his arms.

Andy came from behind and hugged him and kissed his weak neck spot. Robert knew what she was trying to do and it was successful...

Andy jumped over the sofa and sat in his lap taking his hands in hers and interlacing their fingers.

"I...just... wanted it...to be...perfect." She whispered while placing soft kisses on his jawline, hos neck and ultimately giving him a deep kiss on the lips.

Robert just took off her shirt and start sucking her nipples hard. Andy took off his shirt and ran her fingers over his torso.

Andy woke up first and quietly went to take a shower and put her robe on. She found Robert still asleep.

"C'mon sleepy head wake up." Andy whispered leaning over sofa headboard.

He just smiled and pulled her onto him.

"We have to go." Andy said trying to get off of him.

"Where?" He asked confused.

"We have a date with Vic and Lucas."

"We do, huh? How I don't know about it?" Robert never let her go, instead he continued to kiss here everywhere.

"Robert... I just showered." She said annoyed. "We can shower together." Robert started taking off her robe and kissing every part of exposed body. "You woke me up with just a robe on, how else you expected me to react..."

Andy chuckled and gave in throwing her robe on the floor and taking Robert's boxers off. He lifted her and carried her to the bathroom.

"We can't be late." She managed to say while going to the shower. "We won't." Robert said while opening the hot water so he can push her against the shower tiles.

Andy startled a little bit giving the fact that the tiles where cold but gave Robert a sign to continue.

After having some hot quick shower both of them ran out of the apartment and managed to meet with Vic and Lucas just 10 minutes late.

The couples went to have some dinner to the place Vic and Andy picked. Vic tried to ask about the apartment hint but Robert quickly motioned her not to. Finishing their dinner Andy wanted to go dance. Vic approved the idea and the walked into the place hand in hand leaving both Lucas and Robert behind.

"Too much wine." Lucas said and Robert shrugged.

"I'm just gonna look, you go dance with her." Lucas said bringing them drinks and sitting down. "Let them have fun a little bit without us." They continue chatting and occasionally admiring to their girls who had so much fun.

Both Andy and Robert were pros at salsa and their dance is always on top when they perform. But Robert was the shy person in this duo and he preferred bedroom as a dance floor not a salsa bar so he stayed on the side being observant.

The nice and quiet night some guy had to ruin. After Andy rejected him a few times, not wanting to dance with him, he started to make a scene what caused both Lucas and Robert to stop what they were doing.

Robert knew Andy can handle a lot but no woman needs to suffer when they reject a man for any reason. No means no.

Vic came in hurry saying that the guy won't give Andy a break so of course Robert immediately got up after his situation assessment.

"Any problems here?" He said with his deep voice putting the arm in front of Andy protecting her.

"Why don't you walk away, huh?" Robert said after seeing that the guy wasn't having it.

"What if I won't?" The guy sad defiant.

"I've been scanning you the whole night..." Robert said with rage and Andy felt his body getting tense. "He is not worth it." She whispered.

"Or you aren't worth it, bitch!" He shouted.

At this point Lucas came since he saw Robert was about to loose it.

Robert got closer to him ready to give him a lesson. Lucas stood between the two of them. "C'mon let it go, let-it-go!"

Andy still behind Robert stood scared so Vic came a hugged her. Rubbing her arm.

But after a guy added something racistic Robert completely lost it and punched the guy breaking his nose. Thankfully Lucas was able to remove him on the safe distance.

"Robert heeey! Stop it! You know what will happen if the police come!" Lucas shouted. "They will believe him over you, you know that!"

The situation calmed and since the guy was pretty drunk he just left, no question asked.

Turning around him, he couldn't find Andy anywhere. Looking at Lucas raising his eyebrows motioning where are they but Lucas just shrugged.

Andy never saw him being like this and it took her by surprise. Vic texted Lucas they were outside so after Lucas showed him a text he ran outside.

"Andy? Heey!" He said in his sweet voice seeing her shuddering. He quickly covered her and took her chin up to look at him. "Was the punch really necessary? Like why can't you control yourself. Show him you are better than some drunk random guy!" Andy shouted. "Andy I couldn't just let go... he was about to leave and I let him but saying those awful words I just can't stay calm." He said surprised by Andy's reaction.

"He wasn't worth it! It's not my first time some random drunk guy won't go away... they usually just give up." Andy walked away from him.

"So you're saying I didn't have to go and protect my girl when some guy won't go away? By the way the guy was scanning you the whole time. Who knows maybe he was some creep or something! Vic literally came running to us telling to go and do something." At this point Robert was yelling annoyed by her behavior.

"Can we just go?" Andy asked Vic and they all went to the car.

The whole ride home was awkward and quiet. Arriving at the apartment Andy just went to the bathroom and slam the door behind her. Robert went to guest bathroom took a bath and went to bed before her. Taking his side and turning the back towards her side.

Andy was angry a bit also as the time were passing she realized she was wrong to react like that. It was like she couldn't control her emotions or reactions. Of course she was glad he protected her but why she shouted at him she had no idea.

Opening the door Andy saw him laying in bed but she knew he wasn't asleep. So she got into the bed and tried to hug him from behind. Her tiny body against his big she could barely call this a hug.

Robert felt her presence but he was a little bit hurt by her actions so he remained in his position. Andy seeing him not reacting to her, turned around and left the emptiness between them. Once glued to each other tonight was a different story. Unusual one and since they start dating they never slept like this.

In the morning Robert was already gone when she woke up. This was another proof that last night her actions really hurt him. Andy didn't know what to do. Apologize? Not apologize? She didn't know what to do...

"Still angry?" Vic asked as she saw her coming with her car.

"He was gone before I woke up... Did I really make a big scene out of it?" She asked Vic like she was drunk last night and not remembering anything.

"I wasn't drunk but it felt like it..." Andy added.

"You kinda did. That dude was really creepy that why I called Robert to help."

"Oh shit. I really screwed up. What do I do? It feels like I'm just apologizing for the last few days. It's always something..." Andy sighed.

Vic shrugged not knowing how to help. Andy kept her mind during her free time at the station busy by searching for the apartment. She decided to ignore the fight from last night since she didn't know what to do. Everything would've been okay but she found the perfect apartment and she wanted so badly to show him but then didn't know how.

After debating what to do by talking to herself she decided just to burst into his office and show him.

"I found..." She said and she entered his office and stopped seeing some people in there.

"Commissioner this is Captain Andrea Herrera." Robert introduced.

"Uhm good afternoon, sir." They shaked hands. "Please, finish what you were saying..." Commissioner said.

"I'm sure it can wait." Robert said winking at her and she nodded and left.

2 hours passed, they went on a call, came back and Andy kept herself busy in the beanery avoiding going to his office.

"What did you find?" Robert asked as he entered the beanery, scaring Andy who was deep into cooking. "It's too early for dinner..." He said coming closer.

"It'll take time to be cooked so it's not too early." Andy said putting it in the oven. Robert came behing her and placed his hands on her waist.

As she got up he whispered. "What did you find?" Andy immediately find herself hard to catch a breath when he asks with his deep sexy voice and he knows that. "The... apartment."

"Mmm okay. Let's see it tomorrow after shift." Andy turned to face him. "Really?"

"Yes, really! Why wouldn't we?" He asked still with hands on her hips. "I thought..."

"You thought I wouldn't want it because of last night's events?" Andy nodded. "You are so silly, girl." He tapped top of her nose.

"I know you realized you overreacted..."

"I did and I'm sorry. I feel like I kept repeating that damn word a million times in the last few days."

"You are and all is good. Relax. You don't have to avoid me or watch what you'll said. Just don't tell me you got scared of me because..."

"No. God no. I would never..."

Robert gave her a kiss, his kiss, the one that melts your heart while kissing...

"Good." He smiled and they shared a hug.

"What did the commissioner want?"

"Nothing. Just some monthly reviews to see."

"Okay. Staying for dinner?" Andy asked with her puppy eyes. "Of course when you're cooking." Andy smiled in satisfaction. "I assume you'll then want me to stay the night?" He gave her a look. "Only if you want. You kinda ignored me last night."

"You kinda deserved it." He winked. "I did." She agreed.

When Andy got back from the call Robert wasn't in his office so she assumed he was already in her bunk. After a shower she found him there, sleeping, his perfectly shaped back kept Andy at the door just staring and biting her lower lip. She hop into the bed and he immediately felt her small cold body next to him. Half asleep he turned and pulled her into his embrace to warm her.

Morning came quickly than expected and both of them left to see the apartment.

"You are not gonna see the pictures of it?" Andy asked while they were driving. "No. I know you picked the right one. I said what I like but our tastes are similar anyway so no doubt I'll like it." He answered and placed a kiss on her hand.

The very sweet lady waited for them at the entrance and opened the door for them and let them look around. Open floor plan, hardwood floors, a very nice kitchen...

"Your obsessive searching payed off." Robert giggled her as they looked around. "Thank you very much."She said proudly. "The memories we are gonna make here..." Robert said observing the details in the living room. "You didn't see the rest..." Andy said wanting to take them upstairs to see the second floor.

"It's perfect, Andy."

"Okay but master bedroom..." She said as she opened the door of their future bedroom.

"A fireplace?" He shouted what made Andy laugh seeing him getting excited like a little kid. "Bathroom..." She opened another door. "Look at that shower, imagine having this much place for our hot showers." He whispered.

"Got a even better place for that..." Andy smiled and took him fully inside of the bathroom so he can see the bathtub behind the door.

"Oh miss, hot showers are about to become even hotter."

"You are crazy, mister." She laughed. "Okay, let's get done the paperwork so we can actually live here." Andy said pushing him out of the master bedroom.

"Miss Herrera, this is about to become our home. Our home." Robert got all emotional and took her hands in his, interlacing fingers, and placing a soft kiss on her lips. "Our home, babe." She smiled.

Robert cupped her face and placed another kiss and then hugged her tight.

"I love you so much!" He said after the hug. "I can't wait to make this our home." He hugged her back and look up thanking to whomever sent this woman into his life. She was literally his whole life. He buried his face into her neck breathing her scent in.

Andy saw this was actually a big deal to him even tho he seemed like he doesn't give a damn about it. Turned out it's a huge thing for him.

"I love you so so much. I don't know what I did in my life so right to call you mine." She gave him a kiss.

The next couple of days were hectic. Between shifts and sorting things in her apartment and her sudden change of moods. A lot of cursing and disagreeing what to keep and what to donate. Looking for the apartment was the easier part, Andy figured it out by seeing all the boxies trough the apartment and she wasn't done.

"I can't do this." She said as she threw herself on the couch to Robert. "You don't have to do it all. You have time until the end of month to figure what to do with the stuff. Just take the things that are top priority." He said giving her a look. "My man, always knows what to say." Andy smiled.

The two love birds didn't even suspect that their life will be turned upside down.

"Andy already left?" Robert asked as he entered the beanery previously checking her office that was empty.

"She left 30 minutes ago, said she needed to take care of something." Maya said seeing Robert's concerned face.

"Everything okay?" Vic asked.

"Not sure, to be honest. She is kinda weird." Robert said trying to remember if anything happaned these days. She was stressed about the move but it wasn't that.

He went to his office and texted her but she never saw the message.

"Oh my fucking God..." Andy thought to herself. "How the fuck this happened? I mean I know how it happen but..." She started counting the days and looked at the calendar. "For the love of God, Andy... are you this stupid." She said realizing her period was over 7 weeks late.

"I mean I do feel more tired than usual and I've been on and off with my moods lately..."

She took a pregnancy test that she kept for just in case but apparently this wasn't any kind of case. She saw Robert's text but she was way to nervous to even read the text and she knew what is about...

Robert annoyed by her behaviour went back home to see what was going on... He didn't find her downstairs so she was probably upstairs since her car was outside.

"Andy, Andy..." He shouted a few times.

Andy was at the doorstep of their bathroom, completely frozen holding what looked like a pregnancy test.

"Look Andy I see that you've been off for few..." He stopped seeing her looking at that test starting to freak out.

"This can't be happening. It just can't." She blurted out not realizing Robert was in the bedroom.

"What's going on?" He came closer.

"This is what's going on!" She shouted and turned the test so he can see it.

It was positive. Two dark lines. Andy just gave him the test and threw herself on the bed.

Robert took the test and kept staring at it not saying a word. He slowly sat next to her...

"But..."

"How?" She added. "See babies are made by having sex and we had that like a lot... A LOT."

"But you were on..." he barely said it when she interrupted again. "You saying it's my fault? Birth control is not 100% sure thing you won't end knocked up."

"Did you forget to take it?" He looked at her. "Seriously?" She got up and left.

Robert ran after her and followed her downstairs.

"I'm not saying you did. It takes two people to make a baby it's just I can't believe what I'm seeing..." his eyes got teary as he looked at her.

"Andy I'm not mad, I'm just surprised."

"That surely makes two of us... I can't be a mother right now. That was not what I planned...We are just about to move in together..." She kept squeezing her fists on the counter top.

Robert wanted to comfort her but she quickly rejected any kind of comfort. "Can you please, leave me alone? Just go back to work..."

He was taken by complete surprise. She never acted like this. Surely they never been in this situation but still... He decided to let her be and left.

The agony he was in during the day was unbearable. The woman of his dreams said she was pregnant with their baby and then she also said she wasn't ready to be a mother. He could but help himself but imagine how it will be having a baby...

Most of his day he was in his office doing nothing...
He came home and found Andy asleep in the bed. Her face was puffy so he figure she cried herself to sleep. Robert sat next to her and rubbed her back...

"Robert!" She said slowly as she was coming back from her sleep.

"Hey." He said softly.

"I'm sorry." She got up and hugged him tight as possible.

"I'm a selfish bitch. I know. I never asked you how you felt I just kicked you out. I'm so sorry."

Of course he hugged her back and buried himself into the crock of her neck.

"I love you." She whispered and cupped his face and kiss him.

"It's just a lot to take in." She confesses.

"That's why you have me. We are in this together." He kissed her back. "We're in this together." She repeated and brushed her tears.

He quickly got in the bed and pulled her closer to him.

"I know you feel a lot of things right now and this is much harder on you than it's on me but I'm here." He said softly and placed his hand on her stomach.

Andy didn't say anything and she didn't have to, she placed her hand on top of his and rested her head on his shoulder.

"I'm scared." She whispered.

"I'm terrified, if that helps." He chuckled and started rubbing her back. "We'll figure it out together."
