Diana, Sue and Nancy now getting ready for their first game of the Winter Olympics. They have never participated in the winter games as a matter of fact. It is the first time they have participated. The first game for them will be ski jumper by the way. They have been practicing doing ski jumping. Let's hope that Diana and her friends will do a good job on ski jumping.
"Ready to do ski jumping, Di?" Sue asked.
"I sure am, Sue." said Diana. "In fact, I have been doing some ski jumping for the games."
"That sounds good, Di." said Nancy. "I hope that you don't make a mistake."
"I hope not, girls." said Diana. "I would not be getting a medal if I did that."
"You need to aim the farthest jump." said Sue.
"I am about to do that." said Diana.
"Be careful now, Di." said Nancy.
"I sure will, girls." said Diana.
She began to slide down on a curved ramp on her ski.
"Look at Di." said Sue.
"I saw her." said Nancy. "It is the first time that she is doing ski jumping."
"I am aware of that already." said Sue. "She is about to reach the jump.
As she reaches the jump, Diana is now airborne.
"How long is she airborne?" Nancy asked.
"Until she lands on the landing slope." said Sue.
They saw Diana landing on the landing slope and the crowd cheered for her.
"Good job for her." said Nancy. "She did about 145 yards."
"She is currently in first place right now." said Sue. "I am about to go next."
After they take turns on their ski jumping, it was announced that Diana won the gold medal while Sue finished fourth place and Nancy finished fifth.
"Great job, Di." said Sue.
"Thanks." said Diana. "You can win a gold medal for some other time."
"We could try to practice on one of these days when go on a ski vacation." said Sue.
