"Hey, there's a house, behind that cemetery," Spike pointed out, pointing one of his fingers at the stone and birch wood house that was behind the cemetery.
"Oh my, that's a lovely house! The house is very well made!" Rarity exclaimed, the exquisite details of the house temporarily forcing her eyes to look at it like a magnet.
"Let's see if anypony is inside," Applejack suggested.
"I agree, all behind me," Twilight said as she walked towards the house, with everypony following closely behind, all walking very cautiously and slowly. They walked passed the cemetery, and were walking along the gravel path in the grass blocks, all the way to the door. Twilight knocks on the dark oak doors.
Sabre, Dark Steve, Time Steve and Light Steve heard the door being knocked.
"It might be the village leaders. Let's see guys come on," Sabre said as he and the 3 steves got up, off of the couch and chair, to the door. Sabre opened the door. It wasn't the Yellow or Purple leader of the village. It was the mane 6 and Spike, all standing underneath the dark oak slabs overhanging from the entrance, supported by stands made of dark oak and stone bricks, with Fluttershy hiding behind everypony.
"Hello," Twilight said nervously.
"We mean no harm darlings," Rarity also said nervously.
"Hi?" Sabre slowly replied back.
"Guys, may... may I just... talk to you all real quick?" Sabre requested Light Steve, Time Steve and Dark Steve. They nodded.
"We'll be right back, hang on," Sabre quickly said as he walks back into the house with the 3 steves and closes the door.
"Did they just talk!?" Dark Steve exclaimed.
"They're only ponies. They can't talk. We must be hallucinating," Said Light Steve.
"I'm pretty sure they just spoke," Time Steve slowly replied.
"Come on guys, they're just ponies. They can't talk-"
"Hello?" Twilight said outside whilst knocking on the door again.
"Okay, they can talk," Sabre sighed as he and the 3 steves walked to the door and opened it.
"You four... okay?" Applejack slowly asked.
"Sorry about that, we were just talking about... how... how nice the village is," Sabre responded.
"Yes, we're talking ponies. You four need to talk quieter when discussing in private," Twilight chuckled slightly.
"Oh..." Sabre very quietly said to himself.
"It's okay, I'm guessing you four never heard talking ponies?" Twilight guessed.
"No. Like... never," Sabre replied.
"Yeah, we've never heard talking ponies... wow... you all look and sound unique!" Time Steve exclaimed as he is walking around, looking at the mane 6 and Spike.
"Ever heard a talking dragon?" Spike asked.
"Nope," Light Steve replied.
"May we know your names?" Dark Steve asked.
"I'm Twilight Sparkle. You can just call me Twilight, that's also okay. Oh, this is Spike by the way, my assistant," Twilight replied. Spike just waved with his left hand.
"I'm Rainbow Dash, the fastest out of everypony!"
Rainbow Dash loudly replied.
"I'm Applejack, nice to meet you all," Said Applejack.
"I'm Pinkie Pie," Pinkie Pie quickly and loudly replied.
"And I'm Rarity, it's a pleasure to meet you all," Said Rarity.
"Who's the yellow one?" Time Steve asked, looking at Fluttershy.
"I'm... I'm Fluttershy," Fluttershy nervously replied, slowly walking backwards away from Sabre, looking away from him.
"It's okay Fluttershy. We ain't going to hurt you," Sabre responded.
"Anyway, I'm Sabre, this is Time Steve, this is Light Steve and this is Dark Steve," Sabre said as he introduced everyone.
"Steves? Why is everypony here called steves? Twilight asked.
"Everypony? I'm sorry, but don't you mean... 'everyone'?" Sabre replied.
"It's the vocabulary we use where we're from," Pinkie Pie explained to Sabre.
"Ah, right. Gotcha," Sabre responded.
"We're steves. Our first names usually implies what we can do," Light Steve answered Twilight's question.
"So... correct me if I'm wrong. Light Steve is about light. Dark Steve is about darkness. Time Steve is about time?" Twilight guess.
"Yep," Sabre replied. When hearing the word 'darkness', Dark Steve looks down to the floor, which Sabre notices.
"Dark, what's wrong?" Sabre asked.
"I feel bad about my past," Dark Steve replied.
"Hey Dark, it's okay. You're a different person now. No need to think about your past," Sabre responded as he got close to Dark Steve to comfort him.
"You're not alone," Fluttershy now confidently spoke as she walked to Dark Steve, putting her shyness to one side.
"For example... Discord. He used to spread chaos around Equestria, but when we reformed him, he became so kind. He began protecting all of us and we all became very good friends with him," Fluttershy added.
"It's nice to know I'm not the only one who reformed," Dark Steve responded.
"You're not alone with this story, Dark Steve," Fluttershy replied, putting her left forehoof on Dark Steve's shoulder.
"What about you, Sabre? What do you represent? What kind of steve are you?" Twilight asked, looking at Sabre.
"Well... I'm actually not a steve- anyway, enough about us. What are you all about anyways?" Sabre asked.
"We have these things on the back of us called cutie marks. Our cutie mark shows us our talents and so on. For example, my cutie mark is about magic. Rainbow's is about loyalty, Applejack's is about honesty, Pinkie's is about fun, Fluttershy's is about kindness and Rairty's is about generosity," Twilight explained.
"Oh okay, interesting. We would be interested one day learn about whatever these 'cutie marks' are, but we've got to deal with someone. He's called Elemental Steve. He... kinda gone off the rails shall we say," Sabre replied.
"We just saw another of these 'steves' that could mess about with time, but also caused a crack in the ground, easily created some kind of rip and all that, but he isn't nice. He attacked us and even taunted us, saying that we have to defeat him within two weeks," Twilight explained to Sabre, responding to what Sabre said about Elemental Steve.
"It might be Elemental," Sabre thought to himself.
"Did he have green all over him with a strike of blue and brown and orange... yellow eyes, red face?" Sabre asked.
"No, absolutely the opposite of what ya described. He has red n orange eyes. Black all over with dots and dashes of grey... orange feet... with a distorted voice, he already gives me the creeps," Applejack replied.
"Hmm... red eyes... definitely not Elemental... maybe Void... no, it can't be void as he no longer exists... even if he wasn't destroyed, he would just be a Blue Steve, because Time reverted his state back to when he was a Blue Steve... hmm... I don't know. Oh, it might be the steve Origin warned me and Dark about, but I don't know yet. It's all too vague," Sabre thought to himself.
"I haven't heard of such steve before," Sabre eventually responded.
"Oh, it's okay," Twilight replied.
"Anyway, you all are definitely not from this world... stating the obvious there haha... anyway, how did you all end up here?" Sabre asked.
"We were just having a picnic as I was having a break from ruling-" Twilight was interrupted by Sabre.
"Wait... wait a minute, you're the leader from wherever you came from?" Sabre asked.
Twilight nodded.
"Kinda makes sense as you're the only one with wings and a horn, I guess," Sabre responded.
"Anyway, I was having a break from ruling a place called Equestria. I thought me and my friends here could have a summer picnic and without warning, seven square purple portals opened on us and were taken to this world. I assume it was whoever the steve we first saw did it," Twilight finished explaining.
"Ah okay. Anyway, let's introd- what was that?" Sabre asked whilst getting concerned at hearing several sudden lightning strikes. Sabre, Dark Steve, Time Steve, Light Steve, the mane 6 and Spike rushed to the middle of the village. Elemental Steve is there, hovering just above the village. He notices everyone below him. He looks down at them with his completely yellow beady eyes on his angry, fiery red head, that has green, leafy hair.
