"Oh it's you all, hello," The Indigo Leader politely said.
"Indigo, we have a massive favour to ask," Said Sabre.
"Oh, what is it then?" The Indigo Leader asked.
"We may be close to finding a possible way to defeat Madness Steve, but in order to find out how to find the solution, it will require getting to a world that is not just outside of this universe, but outside of this reality. Do you think you're able to find a way to get a connection between this world and the world these six come from?" Sabre asked as he replied.
"I need to know someone from their world that is in their world to find their world to do that- And that was a bit of a tung twister," The Indigo Leader responded.
"What if we describe somepony from our world? Would you be able to do it then?" Twilight asked.
"No, I literally need to know them," Said the Indigo Leader.
"Well, this is great," Sabre sighed, moaning afterwards. But undeterred, Twilight thinks there may be another way.
"Your ability is about connection, right?" Twilight replied. The Indigo Leader nodded.
"What if we both use our abilities at the same time? Do you think you'll be able to do something then?" Twilight again asked.
"We can give it a shot," The Indigo Leader responded.
"Stand close to me Twilight," The Indigo Leader ordered. Twilight then walked to the Indigo Leader very close up.
"Now, think of where you were before ending up in our reality, then on the count of three, I want you to use your powers at the same time I use mine. Then I can try to look for any realities where there are powers similar to yours. This is incredibly long-winded, but it'll be our only shot in finding the reality you and your friends are from," The Indigo Leader instructed. Twilight nodded.
"Everypony in our world needs me and my friends. I'm ready when you're ready," Twilight replied.
"All of you, stand back," The Indigo Leader ordered everyone else. Sabre, Time Steve, Light Steve and the rest of the mane 6 took at least 8 steps back, away from Twilight and the Indigo Leader.
"One, two, three, go!" The Indigo Leader yelled as Twilight's horn glowed purple and shot a beam of purple magic up in the sky and the Indigo Leader summoned several bolts of lightning upwards. The Indigo Leader then finds a world with powers similar to Twilight's power, which he thinks it's likely the world where the mane 6 came from. Both Twilight and Indigo stopped using their powers. The Indigo Leader then begins to crouch.
"Agh..." The Indigo Leader grunted.
"You okay Indigo?" Sabre asked as he quickly ran back to the Indigo Leader.
"Yeah... finding a world... outside our reality... took a lot of energy..." The Indigo Leader again grunted. Twilight's horn then glows purple and a purple aura formed around the Indigo Leader, then the aura disappeared. Just like that, the Indigo Leader felt fine again. Twilight used her magic to heal him.
"How did you do that?" The Indigo Leader asked, baffled at how quick he healed.
"Oh, it's nothing," Twilight replied, smiling slightly.
"I don't know if I can teleport all of you there though. It took most of my energy to find the world, let alone getting all of you there," The Indigo Leader pointed out.
"Twilight, you're the most powerful one here. Do you think you can lend Indigo some of your power so he can teleport us all to Equestria?" Sabre asked.
"Alicorn magic isn't as simple as it seems. When I first became an alicorn, it took me a while to learn how to use my alicorn magic. I don't know if Indigo can handle something like alicorn magic," Twilight replied.
"Well, Time was able to undo the damage Elemental did the the Steve Village with his earth splitter when all the steves had lend over their power to Time. But then again, their power is nowhere near as complex as yours, or Time's, so I guess you're right on that one," Sabre responded.
"Well, does anyone have any other ideas?" Sabre asked, turning around to everyone else.
"I should be fine if you all use your power while I teleport all of you," Said the Indigo Leader.
"Well, it isn't only just me that has to help," Twilight responded as she smiled. The rest of the mane 6 then walked close to Twilight and held forehooves with each other.
"If we can use our magic together and channel it over to you Indigo Steve, maybe you can teleport all of us to Equestria, with the boost of our magic helping you," Twilight explained as her horn glowed purple again and her eyes became completely white and were glowing, with the mane 6 levitating in the air, a few blocks above the ground. They were going to try use their friendship magic to help the Indigo Leader teleport them, Sabre, Time Steve and Light Steve to Equestria.
"Ready?" The Indigo Leader yelled, looking at the mane 6 above him, Sabre, Time Steve and Light Steve.
"Ready!" The mane 6 yelled back. The mane 6 then channeled their magic over to the Indigo Leader. The Indigo Leader was then able to teleport the mane 6, Sabre, Time Steve and Light Steve to Equestria without putting any strain on himself.
Sabre, Time Steve and Light Steve and the mane 6 ended up where the mane 6 and Spike were originally having their picnic, underneath that tree. Sabre, Time Steve and Light Steve are left without words. To them, Equestria looked like nothing they have ever seen. It isn't the non-blocky terrain that caught their attention, it is that Equestria is far larger than anything they have ever seen, way larger than even the Rainbow Kingdom. Right now it is night time and Madness Steve currently is completely aware of where they all are. He was watching them, but everyone didn't pay attention that it was night time, the mane 6 were glad to be back in Equestria and Sabre, Time Steve and Light Steve were mesmerized at what they were seeing.
"Wow, this world is... beautiful," Said Time Steve, completely amazed at his surroundings.
All of a sudden, Discord teleports to where they all are as he detected some kind of connection between different realities. Discord saw it was the mane 6 and is utterly relieved, mainly because it meant Fluttershy is now safe. Discord immediately picked up Fluttershy and wrapped his arms around her. Both Discord and Fluttershy were relieved to see each other again.
"My dear. Fluttershy! You're safe! It's so good to see you!" Discord exclaimed with absolute relief.
"It's good to see you too Discord," Fluttershy replied, feeling a lot of pressure on her go away.
"Who... are you?" Sabre asked, looking at Discord.
"Oh, he's Discord," Twilight replied.
"Hello... um, Discord, I'm Sabre, this is Time Steve and that is Light Steve," Sabre introduced himself. Discord then puts Fluttershy down and teleports himself in front of Sabre, even though he was only a few meters away from Sabre.
"Well, I'm Discord. You three, Sabre, Time Steve and Light Steve, thank you for looking after them, especially Fluttershy. You three are my favourites now, after Fluttershy of course," Discord replied.
"I'm guessing Fluttershy is your favourite?" Light Steve replied.
"Oh ho, you're already knowing me too well," Discord cheerfully responded, feeling completely at ease knowing Fluttershy is now safe, as well as the rest of the mane 6 of course.
"Wait, where's... Spike?" Discord slowly asked.
"Another steve called Madness Steve, he destroyed Spike," Time Steve answered.
"What do you mean by 'destroyed'- Oh..." Discord asked in a concerned tone, having a grudge feeling at knowing what Time Steve meant, but he didn't want to believe it.
"He's dead," Rainbow Dash bluntly explained, looking down to the floor with depression over what happened to Spike.
"We've tried everything against Madness Steve, but he's far too powerful! He can even counter our friendship magic!" Twilight exclaimed.
"That can't be possible! You reformed me and I'm sure I was far worse before my reform. Can't you possibly reform Madness Steve somehow? The best way to defeat baddies is with friendship after all," Discord replied.
"He's far beyond the line to reform," Applejack sighed.
"Yeah, Applejack is right on that one Discord. Madness not only destroyed Spike, he destroyed a village inhabited by steves, a kingdom that the steves retreated to, destroyed them and destroyed a steve called Elemental, but you know none of the others destroyed by Madness Steve. Yeah, I thought when I first saw him, I thought he was just someone who is completely cookoo, but he's a genuine psychopath. I tried to hit him with the sword called the Shadow Sword, but he snapped it in half," Sabre replied.
"Madness Steve is quite something. He's not like Tirek and all that, he's... he's insane! He even scares me and it takes a lot to scare me!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.
"Please Discord, we need your help. We can't defeat Madness Steve without you," Twilight begged.
"Alright, alright. If Madness Steve is too much for you all to handle, I'll try to handle him myself," Discord replied.
"Now, Sabre, did you say that this 'Shadow Sword' of yours was snapped in half by him?" Discord asked.
"Yes, here, I can't do anything without the Shadow
Sword like this," Sabre said as he drops the 2 pieces of the Shadow Sword onto the ground. Discord then snaps his eagle claws and instantly repairs it. Sabre hastily picks it up.
"Wow, I... uh... thank you," Sabre slowly said, but was very happy and thankful for Discord.
"I had to repay you in some way, for keeping them safe," Discord replied.
"It is night, we should probably get some rest... well, you all probably need to rest. I don't really need rest," Discord suggested.
"Yeah... wait- we need to hide where it's light!" Sabre exclaimed.
"What is it you're saying?" Discord wondered, concerned with Sabre's response.
"Madness Steve has an ability that allows him to see anything anywhere it's dark! If we don't hide anywhere bright, he'll know we're here!" Sabre exclaimed. Discord then teleports himself as well as Sabre, Time Steve, Light Steve and the mane 6 to where Celestia, Luna and Cadence currently were, which was the throne room in Canterlot Castle, all the lights were off and were about to leave the throne room to go to their beds to sleep. The 3 alicorns were elated with relief as soon as they saw the mane 6 were back, not even taking any time to notice Sabre, Time Steve and Light Steve. Celestia, Luna and Cadence rushed over to the mane 6 and had a group hug with each other.
"We're so glad you're all okay!" The 3 alicorns exclaimed. They all then slowly let go of each other.
"Where's Spike?" Cadence asked, who's heart was pounding out of sheer concern.
"I regret to say that he was destroyed by Madness Steve," Sabre replied as he walked over to Cadence.
"Destroyed?" Cadence responded with a confused look on her face, not knowing what Sabre meant as did Celestia and Luna too.
"Spike is gone. He was corrupted by Madness Steve and was likely destroyed shortly afterwards by Madness Steve. He even taunted all of us about it," Sabre explained. Celestia, Luna and Cadence could only gasp and weep at hearing this. They hoped Madness Steve was only into doing messed up things in the dream realm, but he had actually killed somepony, and it is somepony they had known for a long time. Things are starting to get worrying.
"We need to stop whoever Madness Steve is before anypony else falls to his tyranny," Celestia responded, still completely taken by surprise by what was said about what apparently happened to Spike.
"Wait... I'm not sure if this'll work, but it'll be worth a shot," Discord said as he snapped his claws and teleports Grogar's Bell into his hand.
"Maybe if we can use this bell, it might suck Madness Steve's power out of him, making him powerless as it can absorb any creature's magic," Discord explained. Discord then noticed Grogar's Bell levitate by absolutely nothing, which everyone and everypony else noticed and payed attention to. A random rip opened, showing lava. The bell was quickly sucked into the rip and shattered as it made contact with the lava. The shattered shards of the bell then instantly became one with the lava and the rip then closed. Red and orange eyes appeared in the dark corner and a humanoid entity made of cubes and oblongs appeared. Everyone got behind Sabre, Discord, Celestia, Luna and Cadence.
