"Hey Indigo," Sabre greeted.
"Hi Sabre, where is Light, and the ponies?" The Indigo Leader asked.
"Oh, Twilight and that are in Equestria, looking for possible magic that might be useful against Madness. Light is making sure that the Colourless Guard is on high alert in all of the kingdoms, ready to evacuate the steves if Madness shows up. Time is in the Time Dimension looking over this world and the world the ponies come from, ready to take us out of a sticky situation," Sabre explained.
"Ah okay, what about you? What are you doing?" The Indigo Leader replied with another question.
"Well... you remember Spike, right?" Sabre replied back.
"Yes, that little purple dragon," The Indigo Leader answered.
"There was also this unicorn who was also destroyed by Madness. She is called Dinky. Dinky... uh, according to Derpy, who you don't know... Dinky is only a filly, a unicorn," Sabre continued on.
"Okay, okay, where are you going with this?" The Indigo Leader questioned Sabre, curious as to where Sabre was going with this.
"Have you sensed Spike and a unicorn getting destroyed? Did they go to the world beyond?" Sabre then asked.
"No, but I have sensed two portals open in this world, and didn't connect to locations outside this reality. I sensed Spike going through one of them, so the one that gone through the other portal must be whoever 'Dinky' in. But I don't know where the portals went, but it wasn't to the world beyond," The Indigo Leader answered.
"That means- No... they can't of been..." Sabre said to himself, realizing the only other possible place Spike and Dinky may be in, the world below.
"Right, I've got to go, thank you, Indigo," Sabre replied as he summoned a few strikes of lighting with the Shadow Sword to teleport where he first met Professor Red, by the portal to the world below that's next to a spruce wooden hut of sorts in a swamp that's in the middle of nowhere. Sabre stood and gazed upon the portal.
"Do I dare open the portal again?" Sabre said to himself, breathing heavily, remembering. when the Demon Steves were the problem. Sabre then looks at the spruce hut and spots a salmon at the side of the door. He walks over to the salmon and picks it up, then puts it in the item frame above the portal.
"Am I really going to do this?" Sabre said to himself a few times, shaking as he was about to put his hands over the lever, hesitating to pull it.
"I must do this. The longer they're in the world below, the more bad it will be," Sabre said as he pulls the lever, activating the portal.
"Okay, here goes nothing. Spike! Dinky! I'm coming for you two!" Sabre yelled as he walked into the portal, being teleported to the stand made of nether bricks and basalt bricks, with some magma blocks here and there. Sabre then finds himself surrounded by 5 Demon Steves, trying to warp and reset Sabre's reality, but their attempts were unsuccessful, because Sabre had the darkness in the Shadow Sword. Sabre manages to destroy each Demon Steve with just a few swings of the Shadow Sword.
"Thank goodness I have the Shadow Sword or I would've caused the Demons to be a problem again and Madness is a problem as it is and we don't need more problems right now," Sabre said to himself, following a path made of crimson nylium and netherrack, with some fire outlining the edges of the path.
"Woah... I thought I'd never come back and see this place. Last time I was here was... was when I fought Void," Sabre said as he looks around the red foggy mist that fitted with the scorching air, different casts of lava flowing down from above the ceiling of the world below.
"Come on Sabre... stay focused. I have a feeling where Spike and Dinky may be," Sabre said to himself as he walks past a pillar made of of basalt bricks, where the path took a left corner, which continued on through between a valley of netherrack. As Sabre turns left, he sees another Demon Steve, which he destroys with a volley of some fireballs. Sabre then starts spreading darkness with the Shadow Sword wherever he is walking, to keep the Demon Steves out of his way. Sabre continues walking down, where the path took a right turn, which Sabre took. The valley of netherrack ended at the right turn. Sabre continues straight ahead, where he sees another 2 Demon Steves, which he strikes them down with lightning until they were no longer there, destroyed into oblivion. Sabre continues down the path, where 2 massive hills of netherrack formed another valley. Sabre then sees a building in the distance, blurred out by the red misty fog.
"I see the building, there it is. I should also stop spreading darkness so I don't infect them by accident... if they're even there which if they're not then this is all for absolutely nothing," Sabre said to himself, his voice turning into a grumble halfway through his words, getting worked up by the possibility that Spike and Dinky might not being in the building. Sabre sees yet another Demon Steve, which he destroys with a few swings of the Shadow Sword. Sabre then approaches the building made of nether bricks and basalt bricks, walking up the nether brick stairs and into the building. Ahead, Sabre sees several Demon Steves down the netherite hallway of the building. An alarm then started going off, a dinging noise that sounded like a bell.
"Spike!? Dinky!? Are you here!? Anyone!? Say something!" Sabre shouted, firing off several fireballs down the hallway, keeping the Demon Steves back.
"In here!" A voice shouted from the left, not sounding like Spike or possibly Dinky, but another familiar voice. Sabre then blocks the hallway off from the Demon Steves with a ball of darkness, then darts into the first room to the left of him, where the 4 tubes of black stained glass panes were. Sabre then sees Spike and a little pink unicorn with a blonde mane and tail inside 2 of the tubes. The unicorn being in the tube furthest to the left, with Spike next to the tube next to the unicorn. Sabre then sees Elemental Steve the tube next to Spike.
"Is that you Sabre?" Spike said with relief.
"Sabre?" Elemental Steve groaned in pain.
"Spike and... and Elemental!?" Sabre exclaimed. Sabre then looks at the tube the little unicorn is in.
"Are you Dinky?" Sabre asked. The unicorn nodded.
"Hey, I'm here to help," Sabre said as he broke the glass panes with his fists, breaking Dinky from her tube first. Sabre then breaks Spike free and then Elemental Steve.
"Where's mummy?" Dinky whinged as she walked to Sabre.
"Your mum is okay, I'll bring you back to her I promise," Sabre said calmly, getting down onto his knees and gently stroking Dinky's mane with his left hand, keeping the Shadow Sword in his right hand, ready to fight off more Demon Steves.
"They're here!" Spike shouted, pointing his finger at a group of Demon Steves entering the room. Sabre then gets up and turns to face them.
"Everyone! Stay behind me and keep close!" Sabre sternly ordered in a serious tone, swinging the Shadow Sword into multiple Demon Steves at once. Slowly, Sabre advances forward, with Elemental Steve, Spike and Dinky closely staying behind Sabre. The 4 eventually makes it to the room that is closer to the entrance, that is on the right side of the hallway.
"Okay come on! Let's go! All into the room over there! Let's go!" Sabre yelled, slowly walking backwards into the room that Elemental Steve, Spike and Dinky already ran into, waiting for Sabre. Sabre then blocks the entrance into the room with a wall of darkness.
"Down the stairs! Come on! Come on!" Sabre continued yelling, running down the stairs made of basalt bricks, the walls made of netherite. Elemental Steve, Spike and Dinky continued running down the stairs into a hallway made of basalt bricks, with a seemingly endless row of red portals. Sabre ran through a random portal, with the other 3 following him into the same one. They were all teleported to the centre of the overgrown Rainbow Hub.
"Wow, so much nostalgia within such a short space of time," Sabre said to himself, looking at the ruins and the different coloured portals.
"Sabre! What were those things!?" Spike exclaimed, poking Sabre with his claws.
"They were Demon Steves," Sabre replied.
"Anyways, a lot has went down," Sabre said afterwards.
"Have you defeated this steve? The one that... you know?" Elemental Steve asked.
"Technically, we did... but only temporarily. The six ponies, they used something called the Elements of Harmony and turned Madness Steve into stone, then Time paused the state of the stone in time. But despite all that, Madness still got out," Sabre answered.
"Wait what... but King Sombra destroyed the elements," Spike replied.
"Well, Time Steve repaired them by reverting their states back in time, before whenever they were destroyed," Sabre responded.
"Time Steve, Madness Steve, Demon Steve, Elemental Steve!? What are these things!?" Dinky exclaimed, starting to freak out and banging her head on one of the mossy stone brick pillars holding the roof of smooth stone and slabs.
"Hey Dinky, come here," Sabre said as he walks to Dinky.
"I know everything is confusing, but you have to trust me for now. I'm here to help," Sabre calmly spoke to Dinky in a gentle voice.
"You... you promise... you promise?" Dinky replied as she walked to Sabre, suspicious of this being made of cubes and oblongs.
"As a matter of fact, I can bring you all to Equestria. All gather around me," Sabre instructed. Elemental Steve, Spike and Dinky gathered around Sabre, who began summoning lightning, teleporting himself, Elemental Steve, Spike and Dinky to Ponyville, where Sabre originally was before everyone had split up, the Town Hall.
"Where are we Sabre? Am I on a potion of nausea?" Elemental Steve asked, who was a little bit confused, looking at the non-blocky surroundings and different coloured ponies happily getting on with their business.
"This is Equestria, where the six ponies come from, Elemental," Sabre answered.
"Wait, how were you able to teleport us all here on your own?" Spike asked.
"You remember that Indigo Steve, Spike? Indigo Steves are about connection and was able to pick up Equestria's connection and teleported us here, thanks to Twilight. Even though this is a different reality, I can teleport here, because Indigo Steve has made a connection with this reality... at least that's how I think it works, I don't know," Sabre explained his assumption to Spike. However, that wasn't the reason he was able to teleport to Equestria despite being outside their reality. Since Spike brought that up, Sabre now actually doesn't know how.
"Yeah, I roughly remember the Indigo Steve... before Madness Steve happened," Spike responded to Sabre.
"Anyway, let's find everypony else. Elemental, I know you haven't known any of these ponies for long, but do you think you can pick up their energy? Just so we can find where they are," Sabre asked. Elemental Steve began summoning lightning, trying to sense the energy of the mane 6.
"Do you have to use lightning with every spell you cast? It is a bit loud, not gonna lie," Dinky asked Sabre. Dinky's ears were ringing from the sound that the lightning made.
"Well um, they aren't really spells as such, but they're our abilities Dinky, uh, I... guess they're the same thing," Sabre answered.
"Wait... how do you know my name? I only just thought about that," Dinky asked.
"Your mum told me a bit about you and how you were... um- nothing to worry about. You're safe now," Sabre replied, bitting his lip to stop himself saying 'destroyed'.
"Alright, I can sense their energy signatures. Everyone, gather around me," Elemental Steve instructed. Sabre, Spike and Dinky gathered around Elemental Steve, teleporting himself, Sabre, Spike and Dinky to the location of the mane 6.
