The mane 6 are at Twilight's castle, in the room where there is 6 chairs, each having a cutie mark of one of the mane 6. Starlight and Derpy are also there helping to look for books on high-end powerful spells. On the shiny crystal-like table is several books, many of them open. Some scrolls are also on the table. They read through different books and scrolls, looking for a spell that might be enough to stop and maybe even destroy Madness Steve. Twilight then found a scroll of a spell in particular. She chooses to wait for Sabre to come back from wherever he is to see what they all should do.
Lightning began striking near one the green-coloured doors of the room, Sabre appeared, but with 3 others.
"Hey, I'm back," Said Sabre.
"Mum!" Dinky screamed as she saw her mum, Derpy. Dinky immediately ran over to her.
"Dinky!" Derpy screamed back, running over to Dinky.
Both made contact and gave each other a tight hug, both are crying. Both never thought they'd see each other again. They then let go and joins back with the rest of the group.
"Twilight!" Spike exclaimed, running over and hugging Twilight's right forehoof, wrapping his arms around it.
"Hey, you three," Said Elemental Steve, walking to Twilight, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy.
"I'm sorry for hurting you three a few days ago," Elemental Steve apologized, with a truly guilty tone in his voice. Elemental Steve is truly sorry.
"Hey it's okay, thanks for apologizing," Twilight responded.
"I forgive you Elemental Steve," Fluttershy responded.
"It's alright, and hey, you're a pretty good fighter. I'm glad we have you on our side now," Rainbow Dash complimented.
"Thanks," Elemental Steve responded to Rainbow Dash's compliment.
"Sabre. Thank you," Twilight wept as she walk to Sabre, with Spike letting go of Twilight. Twilight wrapped her forehooves around Sabre, grateful for what Sabre had just done. Twilight then lets go of him.
"Sabre, not being unappreciative or anything, but how did ya bring them all back?" Applejack questioned Sabre.
"Well, there is this thing called the world below... which is a parallel world to the world beyond..." Sabre slowly started off, nervous at how everypony will react.
"Yeah," Applejack replied, paying full attention to what Sabre is saying.
"I may of found them three there in tubes that were in a building filled with Demon Steves," Sabre finished.
"How did you know where they were?" Starlight asked, walking to Sabre.
"Common sense really- Anyway, it's not important. How is the progress getting on with finding spells and stuff to use against Madness?" Sabre asked.
"We've found a spell that may work. But we will need the jump on Madness Steve for it to succeed," Twilight answered, showing Sabre a scroll and putting it on the table. Sabre picks it up with his right hand and looks at it.
"Wow, that looks... uh, confusing, but I'm sure you know what it all that writing means," Sabre said as he puts the scroll back on the table.
"We will need the help of the Pillars to cast this spell. We will also need a distraction team, just like how we managed to get the jump on him before. A team distracts Madness Steve while us six and the Pillars get the jump on him," Twilight explained.
"I'm sorry, but what now? The Pillars? Who are they?" Sabre responded.
"Ah right... you haven't met them, haha, I forgot," Twilight replied back, giggling slightly at the end.
"Also, what is that spell meant to do exactly? Not gonna lie to you, but to me, it just looks like a bunch of scribbles... ah ha... ha," Sabre asked, slightly chuckling at the end.
"This spell here, I made up from scratch a while back. Very short story, bringing back the Pillars from limbo also brought the Pony of Shadows back. I made up this spell to send the Pony of Shadows back to limbo without the Pillars going back either. Stygian, who was the Pony of Shadows fought the darkness in him, with the help of us. Then we put the Pony of Shadows back to limbo. Not a perfectly exact explanation, but you get the idea," Twilight shortened down her explanation.
"Ah right... okay, a banishing spell of sorts- Ah right, gotcha," Sabre slowly replied.
"Right uh... so, we should go meet up whoever the 'Pillars' are," Said Sabre.
"Not right now, it's getting late- Oh no! Everyone! Turn on the lights! Stop Madness coming in!" Sabre exclaimed in a panic, looking for a light switch, but Twilight began using her magic, her horn glowing purple. Out of nowhere, several lanterns appeared throughout the room.
"Great, so we're basically trapped in hear until it's the morning? Ugh," Rainbow Dash moaned, feeling the affects of boredom from spending a lot of the time helping find a spell that might work against Madness Steve. But boredom does sound very attractive when compared to being killed.
"Is Time okay?" Elemental Steve asked, looking to Sabre.
"Yeah he's fine, Time is looking over all of us incase... you know uh... incase 'he' shows up," Sabre answered. Elemental Steve nodded. All of a sudden, Time Steve silently teleported into the room with someone.
"So this is Equestria? Huh, interesting," The other person said at the top of their voice. Sabre turns around and sees a Red Steve in a recognizable white lab coat and a pair of googles around their head. Next to the Red Steve is another steve, but with a clock face wearing a brown coat.
"Oh hey Professor, and Time," Sabre politely greeted.
"Hey Sabre- Wait... how is Elemental and Spike here?" Time Steve questioned, noticing Spike and Elemental Steve are here.
"Oh... right... ah... haha, you know... just a little trip to the world below. Nothing much," Sabre answered, brushing under the carpet that he went to the world below.
"Wait a minute, did you just silently teleport? I didn't hear any lightning," Sabre asked Time Steve.
"I... may have been learning a few things," Time Steve replied.
"Anyway, have you seen Madness at all?" Sabre asked Time Steve another question.
"As a matter of fact, no. I have not seen him in either reality," Time Steve answered.
"Oh okay, anyway, why are you two here?" Sabre asked Time Steve as well as Professor Red.
"I was thinking of making a portal to connect our realities to further communicate on how to deal with Madness Steve. The portal in our reality is already set up, inside my lab," Professor Red answered.
"Wouldn't it be dangerous though? If Madness finds the portal, he will find the Red Kingdom. Professor, it is too dangerous. The Red Kingdom is probably the last safe area we can stay away from Madness Steve. Also, how does this even work Professor? Remember, this isn't like... simply going from point A to B man. This is across different realities," Sabre stated out the risks and facts.
"Remember, M had placed torches everywhere so Madness Steve can't find the kingdom. We will also be able to better coordinate on how to solve this issue. As for how the portal works, Time helped me with all the coordinates and stuff," Professor Red responded, insisting on his idea.
"We may already have a way to stopping him Professor Red," Twilight said as she uses her magic and levitates the scroll over to Professor Red, who picks it up.
"Hmm..." Professor Red said as he began reading the contents of the scroll.
"A spell to send someone to limbo? Hmm, interesting, interesting," Said Professor Red, handing the scroll back to Twilight, who uses her magic and safely puts the scroll down.
"Anyway, may I start building the portal?" Professor Red asked. Everyone and everypony else agreed. Then in an instant, Professor Red seemingly brought in a portal. A small 3 by 3 stone brick setup, that had a row of iron blocks on top, that has a rod of iron bars 3 blocks tall in the middle. Without any surprise, it also has an item frame in the middle with a salmon in it, on the stone bricks. Behind the portal, there is redstone and to the right is a lever.
"How did you build that so quick? Isn't building an Orange Steve thing?" Pinkie Pie asked Professor Red.
"I paused time, and it actually took about... say, ten minutes or so," Time Steve answered.
"Wait, Pinkie Pie. How did you know that Orange Steves build so fast? I don't remember telling you or your friends about them... well, other than a little bit to Twilight," Sabre asked Pinkie Pie.
"She's Pinkie. I wouldn't question it," Applejack responded.
"Time Steve, can you tell us whenever you pause time? I think we've seen things pausing time enoughtimesdon't you think?" Rainbow Dash requested, making her own effort at making a time pun at the end.
"Okay. Also, nice time pun there, for a first go at least. Need to wait for a perfect moment though next time. Other than that, it wasn't bad, but not great either," Time Steve replied, giving a complete in-depth analysis and constructive criticism to Rainbow Dash's time pun.
"Now everyone, the portalmayhave only a te-"
"Hundred percent chanceof working andtotally notblowing up everything and destroying everyone in the vicinity of several thousand blocks, not at all!"Professor Red interrupted Time Steve. Professor Red could not sound any more guilty, to Sabre at least.
"Ten what?" Sabre questioned Professor Red.
"Tenuh... um-Ten fish," Professor Red replied.
"He means this portal only has a ten percent chance to work," Time Steve admitted.
"So you've made a portal that has a ninety percent chance to blow up and destroy Canterlot and all of us!? Is this basically a bomb!?" Twilight shrieked at Professor Red.
"That'suh- Um...the ten percent part," Professor Red replied.
"Let me just check that the portal actually works anyway," Professor Red said as he walks to the lever, everyone in the room apart from Derpy closes their eyes, dreading the worst. However, when Professor Red activates the portal, it doesn't blow them all up. Everyone is okay, and they all inhale a huge amount of air. Professor Red then walks into the portal, appearing in his lab, then walks back through again.
"Yeah it's all good. Come through, come through,"
Said Professor Red.
"Can I come with you mummy?" Dinky asked Derpy.
"Yeah, or you can stay here, and I'll stay here too," Derpy offered another option.
"Now you said it... I like the second option," Dinky responded.
"Wait, that would be a good idea. We need some to stay here, just to keep an eye on the portal," Sabre responded to both Derpy and Dinky.
"Well..." Derpy said as she walked to Sabre.
"I want to come with you. You saved Dinky, for which I owe you everything for. I want to return the favour for you," Derpy said to Sabre.
"I appreciate that you do, but we need one of you to look over the portal over here. Hey, why don't you look over the portal? That will help, Derpy," Sabre offered Derpy. Derpy nodded.
"I'm also gonna stay back. I've have had enough of seeing everything as cubes. No offense to any of you guys by the way," Spike said as he went over to Derpy and Dinky.
"No offense taken," Time Steve responded to Spike.
"What do we do now by the way? Time says Madness has disappeared. By disappeared, he mean disappeared. He can't find him," Professor Red asked Sabre.
"So is that it? He came, destroyed some people, toyed with us and just left?" Sabre responded in a confused tone.
"At this rate, it seems as if he has came here to- Ugh, I don't know at this point," Time Steve replied to Sabre.
"Sabre?" Fluttershy said as she walked to Sabre.
"Can... can I meet the other steves at some point?" Fluttershy asked Sabre.
"Uh... tomorrow you can, if Madness has truly left us. Yeah. Sure," Sabre answered Fluttershy.
"The Violet Steves will definitely like you Fluttershy," Sabre added. Fluttershy nodded.
"Hello! I know where you all are!" A familiar distorted voice spoke, sounding like an echo, coming from one of the hallways.
"Oh no..." Everyone said.
"Is he going to take me again!?" Dinky shook, holding onto Derpy's left forehoof tight.
"I noticed Sabre saved three of those I sent to the world below. If it was so easy, I'll just take them into the sword and just absorb them! Atom by atom!" The voice again spoke, but sounding less of an echo and sounding more closer.
"Okay! Through the portal! Now! Come on let's go!" Sabre exclaimed as he and the rest ran through the portal, with Dinky getting onto Derpy's back.
They all are now in the lab, behind the controls of a machine, the controls for a 3 by 3 square of blackstone slabs with a netherite outline, that had redstone running on the netherite. Once everyone was through, Professor Red turned off the portal, severing the connection between the portals.
"There, we should all be safe, right?" Starlight said slowly until she saw a figure was on the top of the redstone blocks, that were on a dark oak slab roof over the controls, Madness Steve.
"Incorrect, Starlight," Madness Steve responded, hovering upwards by one block and getting out his lava-looking sword.
"Professor? Can I speak with you?" Another voice come from the other end.
