"Green Steve! Hey man, it's been a while!" Sabre said, elated to see an old friend again. The Green Steve is the one Sabre is close friends with (the one many like to call 'Therapist Green Steve', so I'll refer him mostly as Therapist Green Steve).

"I know, but what happened here!?" Therapist Green Steve exclaimed, looking at the destroyed village infront of him. Him being shocked is an understatement.

"That's... uh, that's a very complicated story. Anyway, this is Pinkie Pie, I met her a few days ago," Sabre responded, introducing Pinkie Pie to the Green Steve.

"Hi there Green Steve! It's so awesome to see another coloured steve! The only other coloured steves I seen are the Red-"

"Hush!" Sabre immediately cut off Pinkie Pie from finishing.

"Red what?" Therapist Green Steve responded.

"Red... uh, um... flowers. Red flowers. That's what she was talking about," Sabre quickly replied to Therapist Green Steve before quickly turning to Pinkie Pie.

"Right?" Sabre said under his breath to Pinkie Pie, making it clear to her that she should say yes.

"Uh... yes, red flowers. What were they... ah, poppies, that's what they were called," Pinkie Pie played along.

"Anyway, why have you came here?" Sabre asked Therapist Green Steve.

"Well, I was waiting for an Orange Steve and a Yellow Steve to help me on a few things. Days went by, they didn't turn up and I began to get worried. So, I came here and I saw this," Therapist Green Steve explained.

"Sabre, please explain to me what's going on," Therapist Green Steve urged Sabre, wanting answers.

"Yeah, however, you're not gonna like what you're gonna here," Sabre answered.

(Several minutes of Sabre explaining later)

"So yeah, he's a major problem. All the foes before him, they had at least some connection with the darkness. Nightmare, Rainbow Red, Void, Soul, Corruption, Shadow definitely... you get it. Madness had just came out of COMPLETELY nowhere and started causing a WHOLE range of problems," Said Sabre.

"Wait a minute... Madness Steve... hmm. Why does he sound familiar?" Therapist Green Steve responded.

"Wait, you know about him?" Sabre questioned Therapist Green Steve. For a few moments, Sabre's Green Steve friend thought and thought. Where did Madness Steve sound familiar to him? He then remembers why and faces Sabre and Pinkie Pie.

"Sabre and... Pinkie Pie was it? Both of you, come with me. I think I may have something about him back at my place, a book," Therapist Green Steve eventually replied to Sabre.

"Really? If so then what are we waiting for? Come on Pinkie Pie, let's follow Green," Sabre said as he began following his old friend back to his place.

"Okay dokey lokey," Pinkie Pie responded to Sabre, following him as well as the Green Steve, keeping behind them as them 2 know where they were going

"We finally may be able to take him down," Sabre said under his breath to himself.

Sabre, Therapist Green Steve and Pinkie Pie, for a few minutes now, have been walking through a forest consisting of massive, gigantic dark oak trees. They are walking along a path of dirt, which lead to the Green Steve's house.

"Are we there yet?" Pinkie Pie moaned, trotting up to Sabre as she asked.

"Nearly," Sabre replied to Pinkie Pie.

"When you see some mushrooms, it means we're there," Therapist Green Steve also replied to Pinkie Pie. A few moments later, Pinkie Pie could see giant red mushrooms ahead, with a house in the middle. The house is a single-floored house, a bungalow. There is three layers to the house. The bottom layer is made of entirely stone materials, which provided the base floor for the house. The middle layer is made of spruce planks, where the interior of the house is. It also has green glass pane windows on the front. The top layer is a roof made of light green concrete, with turquoise-coloured blocks around the edges of the roof as well as different kinds of leaves dangling from the top. There is also a chimney made of wood in the middle of the roof at the front, with smoke coming out. The Green Steve also had a small wheat farm out on the front.

"This place is already making me feel cozy," Said Pinkie Pie.

"Yeah, he has a very nice house," Sabre responded. Pinkie Pie nodded in agreement. Sabre and Pinkie Pie followed Therapist Green Steve up a set of spruce stairs. To their left is a dark oak door, which the Green Steve opened and walking in, Sabre and Pinkie Pie coming in as well. In the current room they were all in, there's a double chest to their left infront of them. Just to their right is a set of 3 barrels, which is hanging on the wall above 2 smokers and a blast furnace, which the Green Steve had opened, going through it, trying to find what he is looking for, but doesn't and then closes the barrel. He opens the barrel in between the other 2 barrels, again searching for he's looking for, but doesn't and closes that barrel. The same goes for the last barrel, nothing. He then opens the chest that's on the oak plank floor. He searched the chest thoroughly, and finally finds what he's looking for, a book, at the bottom of the chest, which had been laying there for whoever knows how long. He gets it out, puts it in his right hand and closes the chest, before turning to face Sabre and Pinkie Pie.

"Sabre, Pinkie Pie, here. It's one of the very VERY few KNOWN books written about him. The original books were lost in time. People who still knew about him wrote books of their own on what they knew about him, warning other steves of his existence," Therapist Green Steve explained as he handed the book over to Sabre. Sabre held the book in his right hand, gazing upon the ancient-looking book.

"Woah..." Sabre said to himself as he looked at the book in his right hand. He then opens it and reads it out. The book only had a few pages, but held critical information.

"This entity, known as Madness Steve, has existed for quadrillions of years," Sabre read out the first sentence.

"Wow, that's old... very old..." Pinkie Pie responded in slow motion. Sabre and the Green Steve nodded in agreement. Sabre then continues on reading the page.

"He is an extraordinary, but terrifying entity. He is above the concept of omnipotence and omnipresence. Not even those with infinite knowledge can comprehend his power and presence. Gods and demons, who are bitter enemies, even they united together to fight against Madness Steve, out of fear. Gods and demons, as well as immortals, feared and still fear Madness Steve," Sabre read out, finishing the first page. He pauses from continuing reading the book.

"He scares even gods? That's insane! No wonder Origin is scared of him," Sabre said with a quiet gasp.

"I thought him being able to defeat Discord was quite an impressive feat. But him making gods and demons team up out of fear? That is just a whole different level," Pinkie Pie responded, unable to say much else. Madness Steve is no ordinary bad guy, he is something that no existing dictionary can describe him. Sabre then carried on reading.

"Luckily, God Steve, as well as gods and other omnipotent beings from an infinite number of realities created a dimension. It is no regular dimension, it doesn't exist, but it also doesn't not exist, neither in or not in existence. This dimension is the one we know as the 'Madness Dimension'. They managed to trap Madness Steve in the dimension after many had fallen in a battle that lasted for trillions of years, either being destroyed or removed from existence all together," Sabre read out the second page.

"Wait a minute... infinite number of realities!?" Sabre exclaimed.

"There's more? Not just ours, but there are others?" Therapist Green Steve said in disbelief.

"Yeah, you should know as you've read this book... or I assume so," Sabre responded.

"It's been a while since I read it, which is why it ended up at the bottom of the chest," Therapist Green Steve explained. Sabre nodded as he continued on reading.

"While all beings went back to their original realities, God Steve had to make sure Madness Steve doesn't get out, but he needed to govern his reality as well, he couldn't do both. So, he created Origin Steve to do his role, while he kept watch, not letting Madness Steve get out, as it would mean all realities will cease to exist as we know it. If Madness Steve escapes the Madness Dimension, then all is lost," Sabre said before the bottom sentence of the page, an ominous sentence at that.

"Eternal torture is no question, for all beings, from all realities," Sabre read out the last sentence.

"I don't like the sound of that..." Pinkie Pie said with a gulp.

"The way that last sentence was written, I don't want to imagine what it would be like if he does escape the Madness Dimension," Sabre said in a slow and stuttering voice.

"Can I read on? Pleeeease?" Pinkie Pie requested Sabre.

"Yeah, sure," Sabre replied, handing over the book to Pinkie Pie's left forehoof as he did. Pinkie Pie looks at the next page and begins reading it.

"However," Pinkie Pie started off.

"Madness Steve found a way around God Steve. This is where he created his False Form. It lets Madness Steve partially bypass God Steve. His False Form has a plethora of powers, whatever amount of power his False Form has. The only limit to the powers of his False Form seems to be his wickedly narcissistic imagination and the power his False Form holds. But if his False Form reaches its full power, it will have unlimited power and presence, reaching omnipotence and omnipresence. This will allow Madness Steve to use his False Form to open up the connection to escape the Madness Dimension completely," Pinkie Pie Read out.

"So that means... basically- okay hold up. What this is basically saying is that this is only A PART of him!? He isn't even at full power!? We need to-"

"Sabre, relax, calm down," Therapist Green Steve recommended calmly, trying to keep Sabre calm, which he does. He has helped Sabre calm down many times and knew Sabre well, meaning he knew what to do.

"You fought many foes, with you coming out on top each time. You will come out on top. I'm sure of it, Sabre," Therapist Green Steve reassured to Sabre. Sabre sighs, slowly breathing in and out.

"Yeah, you're right. Pinkie Pie, carry on," Sabre responded, before looking back to Pinkie Pie, listening to what she is reading out.

"There are many theoretical ways that could be used and may stop Madness Steve all together. One of the most thought ways is by destroying his False Form. His essence, if you combine his essence with an object that has power, the object with his essence will have the same power that his False Form currently had at the time of the essence being fused with the object. This means you could fight and weaken Madness Steve's False Form. Then once his False Form has been weakened, it can be destroyed," Pinkie Pie finished off.

"So, that's how we're meant to defeat Madness? We have to fight him? But Madness Steve defeated Discord, who seems to be the most powerful one we know. Speaking of which, where is he-"

"Hello!" Discord replied loudly as he teleported inside of the house out of completely nowhere, taking Sabre, the Green Steve and Pinkie Pie by surprise, especially the Green Steve.

"Who... are you!?" Therapist Green Steve exclaimed, taking a few steps back, away from the very odd looking creature.

"Oh ho, my sincere apologies Green Steve, I'm Discord, the master of chaos. I heard my name being said, so..." Discord casually chuckled, before looking over to Sabre and Pinkie Pie.

"Well um, Discord, I'm guessing you have found the books-"

"You all seemed to be doing as fine without me, so I decided to just keep watch," Discord replied casually. Sabre had anger building up in him upon hearing Discord hadn't went to search for the original books. Sabre was about to completely lose it, but they now have the key to stopping Madness Steve. Discord may of noticed that and decided to keep watch to be on the safe side.

"Right," Sabre responded in slow motion, not too sure on what to say. He was about to lose his rag and yell, but after shortly thinking about why Discord didn't continue looking for the books, he wasn't sure on how to exactly respond.

"Anyway, we now know how to defeat Madness Steve!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed, bouncing around in the house.

"Oh do you now?" Discord replied to Pinkie Pie.

"Yes," Sabre responded to Discord. He then looks over to his Green Steve friend.

"Green, over the time we've known each other, I've got to say this. Thank you, for everything you've done for me," Sabre started off.

"It's okay Sabre, I'm glad I can help-" Sabre bad said thanks and Green Steve said it's okay, so Discord snapped his eagle claws and teleported Sabre and Pinkie Pie where the rest are. They now have one of the pieces that may be key to defeating Madness Steve, for good. Discord then teleports away, out of Therapist Green Steve's house to keep watch. The Green Steve is just left dumbstruck, as to what in the heck was he about?
