I don't want to copy every single line word for word from the RQ videos that introduced Hypno Steve (and not from any video for that matter). So, I changed how certain things, like different characters talking when Hypno Steve was talking. Of course I used some lines from some RQ videos, but only because they were either important, or they were lines I really liked, but still made sense, if you get what I mean. I wanted Hypno Steve in the story is because I like him as a character. I do have plans for him in the story later on, otherwise I wouldn't of put Hypno Steve in. However, I couldn't just go 'hey, Hypno Steve is now in the story' and leave it at that. There need to be an explanation and so on. I introduced Hypno Steve into this story similar how he was introduced into the actual RQ story, but made it shorter, more in my own words and give the other characters a chance to speak, so it isn't one of them 'ugh it's playing out exactly the same with the same lines from this video' kind of chapter, which would be boring to read.
Starlight had woken up the mane 6, just after a few minutes they fell asleep and explained what was going on with Sabre. She and the mane 6 then went back to where Sabre is, near the round table and 6 chairs. Time Steve is also there as well as now Elemental Steve. The mane 6 can hear Sabre mumbling, asleep, but standing.
"How long has he been like this?" Applejack asked Starlight.
"A good twenty minutes or so. After he came screaming at me that Madness Steve killed you six, he sort of drifted to sleep standing over there... and here we are," Starlight summarized her explanation to Applejack, as well as the mane 6 in general.
"Yeah, he's officially lost the plot," Said Time Steve, walking over to the mane 6 and Starlight, along with Elemental Steve as well.
"Today has been quite stressful though. Gotta take that into account," Elemental Steve added in.
"It might be shock that's causing these illusions Sabre is seeing?" Time Steve stated his theory on what it might be.
"It might be Madness Steve. Nothin out da ordinary a tis point," Applejack yawned whilst replying.
"Yeah, since he and Discord fought, he's mostly been messing with us," Rainbow Dash replied to Time Steve, adding onto what Applejack said.
"We can't just leave him like this, we have to wake him up," Fluttershy responded.
"Yeah, I agree Fluttershy," Time Steve responded back.
Sabre and Hypno Steve are at the old Rainbow Hub, a projection of it inside of Sabre's head, before it was destroyed.
"I don't know whatever I did to you, or why you're so spiteful toward me. But, whatever it was, I'm sorry," Sabre said to Hypno Steve, apologizing to him on whatever he did. Sabre didn't have a clue whatever he did.
"You're... sorry? Heh. You'rerer sorryryryr?" Hypno Steve slowly responded.
"Yeah I, I'm sorry. I mean, you're clearly... are hurt by whatever it is I did. But I can't help you unless you tell me, unless you tell me what it is I did to you, and then I'll try to fix it. But until you tell me, all I can tell you is, I'm sorry if I hurt you," Sabre replied. He's still confused, but he knew whatever he ever did to Hypno Steve, he had really hurt him for him to really, really mess about with his head.
"Sorry... sorryryryr... heheheh- APOLOGIESGIESGIESGIES ARERARARA FORFORFORFOR THETHETHE WEAKEAKEAKEAK! YOUR ACTION SPEAK LOUDER THAN YOUR WORDSORDS SABRE! I WILL NOT FORGIVE YOU, EEVVEERRVERVERVER!" Hypno Steve screamed at Sabre's face.
"Sabre, can you hear me? Are you asleep?" Time Steve asked, who is behind Sabre.
"Time? Time! Time is that you!?" Sabre exclaimed.
"It's not real Sabre-"
"I know, but I know it's not real okay! But how!? How do I fix this!? How do I stop this-"
"You got to snap out of it," Time Steve replied slow and firmly.
"Snap out of it? But I-"
"You need to wake up," Time Steve interrupted.
Sabre wakes up, and is now back where everyone else is. Time Steve, Elemental Steve, the mane 6 and Starlight are around Sabre.
"Time?" Sabre asked, looking around him whilst wobbling.
"Are you back?" Time Steve responded.
"I... I guess... I'm back. Yeah," Sabre replied.
"Are you okay Sabre?" Elemental Steve asked.
"Yeah, at least I think," Sabre replied.
"Walk around," Time Steve said to Sabre.
"Okay okay," Sabre responded, walking around for a bit. Sabre then walks to where he thought he saw Madness Steve destroy the mane 6 in that crater. He's feeling better than he was, now knowing that was just an illusion, a trick.
"Sabre? What's going on?" Twilight asked.
"Time, Starlight. How much... how much of that was that real?" Sabre asked them.
"You kind of just dozed off after you came in screaming at me," Starlight answered.
"We never walked back outside this room after I did that?" Sabre asked another question, turning to face everyone else, who are behind him.
"No," Time Steve replied. Sabre then turns around and looks back to where the crater he saw was.
"Wow," Sabre responded, stunned, lost for words. Not even going back out the doors to the crater was real.
"Sabre, was it Madness Steve?" Twilight asked.
"No, it wasn't, it's somebody else," Sabre replied. Sabre then turns around again to face everyone.
"I met someone," Sabre started off.
"You all remember hearing that laugh back at the observatory?" Sabre asked everyone. They all nodded.
"That laugh was responsible. I met him, inside of my head. I have a feeling, that he's powerful, but, not how every other person is," Sabre explained.
"What?" Time Steve responded.
"He calls himself Hypno Steve, and he's not so powerful... physically. But, I have a feeling we're gonna have another problem real soon everyone," Sabre explained.
"What can he do? Not as if we already have to deal with Madn-"
"Whatat can I dowoowoowoo!? Everythingwrrrrr! I can do EVERYTHING hawrrr HA HAWRRRR ha hawrrrwaahaa..." A voice chuckled, echoey and distorted laughter in the background cutting off Rarity.
"Great, another guy to deal with," Elemental Steve grumbled.
"Yeah, that's what I'm worried about Elemental. He spoke of so many things. He spoke of an endgame. He spoke of something that must happen, but I don't know what. Even he stated he didn't know what. Right now, I think he's watching us now, waiting, until... he can trick us again. I think he's treating this like some kind of game. But I don't know why," Sabre replied.
"Right, we need ta go ta Professor Red NOW! No questions or anythin, we need ta speak ta him NOW! He definitely knows what's going on! He isn't telling everything he knows!" Applejack exclaimed.
"I agree with Applejack," Said Time Steve, responding to Applejack.
"More I think about it, I also agree darlings. What this 'Hypno Steve' done to Sabre is concerning. What's stopping him messing about with anypony else for that matter?" Said Rarity, agreeing with Time Steve and Applejack.
"Fair, this Hypno person is gonna become a real problem, unless we can get the Professor to tell us all of this. Madness Steve is already a big issue as it is. Come on everyone... everypony- I'm just gonna say everyone for now on," Sabre said as everyone got around him.
"Wait a minute, Sabre, wait. We can just use the portal Professor Red just made. As much as I distrust that portal, I don't want the Red Steve's to be more stressed as you do use lightning to teleport... and it is loud," Twilight suggested, pointing her left forehoof to the portal Professor Red made, which she still doesn't fully trust, especially hearing the chances of it blowing up, the same portal Professor Red originally made to help cooperate with the ponies in the struggle against Madness Steve, but ended up with Madness Steve finding the Red Kingdom, taking Spike and Dinky yet again and now Derpy, and of course ending up with the Red Leader getting attacked by Madness Steve.
"Yeah good point Twilight," Sabre said as he went to flick the lever on the machine, activating the portal. Everyone sighs of relief that the portal didn't blow up. Everyone walks through and gets teleported to the bottom of Professor Red's lab.
"Professor, are you in here? We've come to speak to you man. You gotta tell us who Hypno is," Sabre yelled as he is walking up the smooth stone stairs.
"Professor Red, are you here?" Pinkie Pie loudly said. Everyone then walks up the stairs, walks along the hallway, then up another set of stairs, which are made of smooth quartz, Rainbow Dash hovering as usual close by.
When Sabre opened the door that is at the top of the quartz stairs, he sees the room on the other side of the quartz table is on fire and partially blown up. In that room, there is a table that looks like a surgical table of sorts made of stone bricks, that was surrounded by metal bars, and the floor made of smooth stone, which had been partially destroyed by whatever had exploded.
"Woah! What happened here..." Sabre gasped.
"Everyone, you may want to take a look at this..." Sabre slowly said, stepping to the right side of the table, letting Time Steve, Elemental Steve, the mane 6 and Starlight get inside the room. Then at just the right moment, Professor Red comes down the stairs, he tries to run back up the stairs, but Twilight grabs him with her magic. A purple aura appears around Professor Red as she puts him down on the floor, infront of everyone.
"Professor, you need to tell us what's going on, now!" Time Steve demanded, walking up to Professor Red.
"Well... it's hard to explain-"
"Whether it's hard or not, you got to tell us. There is now this steve called Hypno Steve. He just massively messed about with Sabre's mind. He had that same echoey laugh we just heard earlier. Please Professor Red, you need to tell us who he is. There is no denying it, you know who he is. He is connected to what happened here and you was here. Don't make this harder for yourself. It will be easier if you just tell us," Twilight requested politely, speaking an entire paragraph, a speech almost as to why Professor Red should tell everyone what is going on and who Hypno Steve is. Professor Red then leads everyone into the room.
"Does this have to do with Hypno Steve?" Sabre asked Professor Red.
"Seems pretty cut and dry to me," Time Steve responded.
"Yes or no Professor Red? Which is it? Just a simple yes or no question. Just tell us!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.
"I had to get out of bed for this. If you don't explain to us now, I'll make you stay awake," Rainbow Dash warned Professor Red, frowning at him. She isn't very pleased with Professor Red, as he could've told what was happening to begin with, and get a good night rest, then start of the day in sorting out how to defeat Madness Steve as they now seem to have the answer.
"Come on Professor, is this connected to Hypno Steve somehow? Or... or what? Out with it man! We need answers now!" Sabre demanded.
"Sort of?" Professor Red slowly replied.
"Just tell us Professor Red! This ain't hard! Ya were here! So just tell us!" Applejack shouted at Professor Red. Applejack is also starting to get annoyed.
"Should we just do good cop and bad cop?" Pinkie Pie suggested, interrupting Sabre.
"That sounds like a great idea Pinkie! I take dibs on bad cop!" Rainbow Dash responded almost instantaneously, who is now very fond of Pinkie Pie's idea.
"No, that will definitely not get us anywhere," Sabre replied.
"Professor, I need ALL information you have, NOW!" A demanding voice came from behind everyone. Everyone turns around and sees M, who just came down the spiral quartz stairs, that were to the left of that quartz table where everyone was after they came up the quartz stairs from the bottom of the lab.
"It's for... the best for everybody. I mean, the Red Leader is out there. We can get him back," Sabre said to Professor Red.
"So Professor-"
"It's just... I don't know how to explain this!" Professor Red exclaimed.
"As the new leader, I demand it," M said firmly, who is also getting annoyed with Professor Red.
"You... you don't know how to explain it? Or you don't want to explain it Professor? Which is it!?" Sabre questioned Professor Red, with a firm voice, getting annoyed and just wants to know what is going on.
"I-" As Professor Red was going to answer, lightning began appearing on the surgical table that is in the middle of the room.
"Ha ha ha HA HA hawr! Hawa ha HAWA HA HA! HA HA HA HA HA HA! Oh ProfESSOR!" Hypno Steve laughed maniacally laughed, the red figure with purple marks that has a single red eye that just appeared where the lightning was. Fluttershy was easily the most startled, but was the quickest to get a hold of herself.
"Why don't you explainain it towowo thememem huh!?" Hypno Steve asked as he looks at Professor Red, his voice becoming more echoey and distorted the more he spoke.
"Who are you!?" Starlight exclaimed at the Red figure with purple marks.
"I am Hypno Steve, Starlight," Hypno Steve responded calmly, looking at her with his single eye, his voice not being so echoey this time.
"You were the one who messed with Sabre!? Why did you!? Tell me or I'll make you regret doing that to him!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed, hovering over to Hypno Steve, putting her forehooves in a position, ready to punch.
"Do sososo, I'll break your wings sosowo badadad thatatatat youyouyou will bewewe unable to fly againainain! SO DO ITWITWTWTWT, I DAREARE YOUYOUYOUYOUYOU! BRING ITITWTWTWTTTT!" Hypno Steve threatened Rainbow Dash, flying directly infront of her, his face right in her fave, his voice becoming a horrible, screeching echo, which is enough to make Rainbow Dash back away.
"Not so tough and brave as you think, Rainbow Dash. Your EGOWOWOWOWO speakseakseaks louderwrwrwr than your ownownownwnwnwnwn MOUTHWTHWTHWTHWTH!" Hypno Steve shouted, making Rainbow Dash feel absolutely humiliated with that single remark. Rainbow Dash couldn't say anything back at Hypno Steve. She felt that humiliated by what he said, and in some ways, he is right. Hypno Steve then turns to face back to Professor Red again, now happy and satisfied he put Rainbow Dash right in her place.
"Anyway, what truth?" Sabre questioned both Professor Red and Hypno Steve.
"The truth, the onenenene he can't bringinginging himself towowowo explainwnwnwnwnwn," Hypno Steve replied to Sabre.
"The foolfoolfoolfool, distraughtwrwrwrwrwrwr, trying to help and yet he created A MONSTERMRMRMRRRRRR! IFWWWWWW YOU WON'TNTWNTWNT SHOW THEMEMEMEM PROFESSORRRRRRR, IF YOU WON'T TELLELL THEMEMEMEM THE TRUTHRUTHRUTH, THENENENEN... wellwelwelwlwlwl, then I'll have to show them for you," Hypno Steve said to Professor Red as he began summoning lightning on Sabre, Time Steve, Elemental Steve, M, the mane 6 and Starlight as well as himself into his own mind, leaving Professor Red behind.
Everyone are now on something that looks like a wooden ship, made mostly of oak and spruce planks, and partially messed up. The shop had 3 spruce log poles, having 3 sails, the one in the middle being the largest out of the sails. In the background, out of the ship looks like a complete mess. The base ground at the bottom is red, but with a mixture of a whole range of buildings from places Hypno Steve has been, and for some reason, places Sabre has been too. Some of these buildings from different places even looks like some places from Equestria. Somewhere, there is Canterlot Castle, and the Town Hall in Ponyville, one of the many examples. Everything else, there is a mixture of blue, green, purple, yellow, pink and a whole range of different colours, and all are a whole range of different sizes and shapes.
"This place... this is beyond weird..." Starlight said in slow motion, turning her head to the left, then the right, looking at the surroundings.
"Where... are we?" Rarity wondered, also looking around.
"Ha ha ha ha ha. I'llwlwlwl showowowowowo youyou the truthruthruth," Hypno Steve responded to Sabre, Time Steve and Pinkie Pie.
