Everyone's attention turns to Madness Steve almost instantly. Everyone took many steps back. Even the First Curse/The Unnamed took a few steps back.
"I'm afraid for you First Curse, that your armour is now mine!" Madness Steve yelled as he takes control of the armour, summoning lightning on the armour.
"What? No it can't be- What have you done to the armour? My minion?" The First Curse responded. Earlier, the First Curse sounded so confident, everyone could tell by his voice. However, now he sounds a lot quieter, as if he's scared, as if he knew of Madness Steve.
"Simple. You've designed the armour to absorb steves. What I did, is so it can absorb whatever I like. For that, I'll leave you alone, for now," Madness Steve replied, then looks directly at Yellow Steve and the mane 6.
"I have unfinished business to settle with them. Should've not toyed with them. Should've dealt with them from the start."
"Maybe this is a good time to... RUN!" Pinkie Pie screamed.
"You seven! Get out of here! Run! I'll hold him of! Sabre yelled, trying to use the Shadow Sword to hold Madness Steve in place. Yellow Steve and the mane 6 rush down the stairs and book it for Madness Steve. However, Madness Steve does something that catches Sabre off guard, using time abilities. Sabre wasn't expecting that, and so Madness Steve froze time, and flies over to the entrance, then resumes time. Madness Steve truly isn't messing about no more.
"You seven are not going anywhere! Sabre can't help you. He don't know how to use my powers within the sword! It's over!" Madness Steve yelled with anger, nothing but anger flowing through him. The First Curse's armour, which Madness Steve now has control over, jumps down, right beside Yellow Steve and the mane 6. Sabre rushes down the stairs and even the First Curse.
"No! STOP! I'll STOP you MYSELF!" Sabre yelled, trying to create a beam, concentrated into a very small beam, intending to obliterate Madness Steve's False Form again. However, Sabre only manages to get a single beam of lightning out.
"If so, then I'll promise you this Sabre, you'll NEVER seem them AGAIN!" Madness Steve shouted back in response, summoning an energy beam at Sabre, but the First Curse creates a ball of regular and crying obsidian, just before the beam literally erased Sabre from existence. The First Curse just got released, and he isn't going to tolerate his armour being taken away this early so lightly.
"The energy within you... I can sense it. While that is only your False Form, and I don't know everything about it...you're still a steve. But the question is, while you may have more power than me, can a curse still be placed upon your False Form?" The First Curse wondered.
"Go ahead, boost the growth of my False Form with your petty curses! I... so dare you to!" Madness Steve laughed, walking straight up to the First Curse, his head touching his. The First Curse strikes lightning, and attempts to place a curse on Madness Steve's False Form. All that did is accelerate the growth of Madness Steve's False Form.
"As you can see, my powers allows me to literally turn your curses into benefits for my own gain. You're curses just act as a source of growth for my False Form. Go ahead, keep giving me your curses, I want more." After Madness Steve said that, the First Curse steps back. Whatever he does just makes Madness Steve stronger. Sabre runs over to Yellow Steve and the mane 6 to try stop the armour, but Madness Steve holds him in place, as he does the same with the First Curse, Yellow Steve and the mane 6. They all now can only watch what Madness Steve is about to do.
"I'm sorry everyone-"
"It's okay Sabre! Just get out of here! Save yourself-"
"I can't Twilight! I have to teleport everyone here!"
"Sabre, this building won't allow that," The First Curse pointed out.
"Wonderful! That means as long the armour is inside this building, Discord won't know!" Madness Steve chuckled.
"Did you really just have to point that out!?" Sabre yelled at the First Curse. Madness Steve began using the armour, striking lightning on Yellow Steve, then disappears. Everyone apart from the First Curse gulped.
"This is it! It was nice knowing everypony!" Pinkie Pie cried.
"Yeah Pinkie! It was nice knowing you too, as well as all of you!" Rainbow Dash cried back.
"This will be more fun to do one by one!" Madness Steve chuckled as he next absorbs Pinkie Pie into the armour.
"PINKIE-" The rest of the mane 6 screamed, having a very awful expression of horror and fear on their face, and closed their eyes. At least if they closed their eyes and they did die, they would at least think they've died together. Meanwhile Madness Steve selects Rainbow Dash next. The armour began striking lightning, and then Rainbow Dash is gone too. Then, Applejack and Rarity, both at the same time.
"NO!" Sabre screamed, trying to break free from the force Madness Steve put him under, but to no avail. Sabre continues to try though. Meanwhile, Madness Steve chooses who to target next, but quickly chooses to target Fluttershy with the armour next. Almost a week ago, he kept taunting he would do something to her, and now he actually does. The armour strikes lightning, and now Fluttershy is gone too. Madness Steve then use strikes lightning with the armour, and instantly, Twilight is gone. Madness Steve then looks at both Sabre and the First Curse. Sabre couldn't look at Madness Steve without being disgusted. He infact is so disgusted, he couldn't say anything to Madness Steve.
"This armour of yours, First Curse, it is useful. Now, I'm gonna use it to take EVERY SINGLE BEING across ALL REALITIES! GOODBYE!" Madness Steve then just silently teleports away, leaving Sabre and the First Curse in the building.
"This is ALL your FAULT!" Sabre screamed, holding the sword right against the throat of the First Curse.
"Had you of not taken the steves... Madness... wouldn't of TAKEN them!"
"If you destroy me, then you lose the being with the most knowledge on Madness Steve from this world," The First Curse responded.
"And why should I trust you? Give me one good reason why? You just went ahead and took every steve from this world man! You just went and betrayed me!"
"If I didn't, Madness Steve would've took the steves, and their fate would've been even worse."
"Even though with the steves I had my own plans, my own volition, Madness' ideas are much worse."
"I wanted everything and nothing, a stasis of everything standing still, where I would feed off the energy of people but not just the energy, thecurses of which they're binded to."
"You feed off of curses within people- What do you mean?" Sabre questioned the First Curse.
"You'veheard of thecurses,many Red Steves fallen upon them. But what's little known to most is that a curse is upon almost every steve...because of me...because of my existence..." The First Curse replied.
"I am the reason curse exists. The word 'curse' exists...because of me... and almost every steve... has one. Almost every steve... is burdened with one, the severity of which changes, because of their ownvolition. But I am the reason curses exist."
"You have freed me, and I gave you an answer. Now, in return, I'll be the one to help you first, then you do something for me in return."
"I don't know- Even if you do truly help me, what do I have to do in return?" Sabre asked.
"You helped me to get back control of the armour. That is all I ask of you Sabre," The First Curse responded.
"The reason you freed me, was so I could help you. Although I originally had different ideas to begin with, those ideas have been altered. I am offering you my help. Isn't this what you've asked for anyways?"
"Yes, but I don't know whether I can trust you or not, especially after you went and took all the steves," Sabre replied.
"You will have to trust me at least a little bit Sabre, because you have no choice... but to," The First Curse responded.
"I've already released you, and this, if anything, you have given me more questions than answers. This isn't what I asked of you. I thought you'd help me, but you've shown no sign of that," Sabre responded back.
"I'm being genuine, Sabre. I will help you, if you help get back my armour fromMadness. What do I have to do to help you?" The First Curse asked.
"It you want to help- You've been around since the beginning right?" Sabre asked.
"Yes. I've existed longer than anybody else who was in this world," The First Curse replied.
"I'm guessing you know of these books that hold information on Madness Steve. Go and find some, and when you have, whisper out to me- This is more of a test whether I can trust you, First Curse. But, for now, we're going our separate ways. I've got other problems to deal with," Sabre sighed before he teleports with the Shadow Sword.
Sabre is now in Equestria. The first place he teleports to is Ponyville, as he mostly familiar with the town as that's the place he's mostly been to in Equestria. Nopony is to be seen, like how no steve was to be seen back home. Sabre even teleports to Canterlot as he vaguely remembers that place, because he slept over at the castle in Canterlot when he first discovered Equestria. Sabre is just outside the castle, giving him a good view over Canterlot. Again, nopony in sight. Like in Ponyville, nopony is to be seen at Canterlot. Madness Steve must have used the armour he took off of the First Curse and modified it to take not just everypony and every steve.
"I also suspect he's also taken beings in other realities and dimensions as well. This is a big problem. I've got no one I can fully rely on. I'm all alone, against an interdimensional monster," Sabre thought to himself.
He can't entirely trust the First Curse as he's only helping because Madness Steve is a threat to him. He doesn't know where Discord currently is. There is no one he can talk to... well, there actually is. As it's the only available option, he has no choice, the only help he is going to get, is from his shadow. Sabre summons lightning with the Shadow Sword, and takes someone out of the Shadow Sword, but not making him physically present. He isn't going to trust him to that extend, yet.
"Hello Sabre, good to know I'm needed again," Said a calm shadowy voice.
"Shadow... I can't believe I'm saying this... but... I- I need your help..." Sabre sighed.
"I know you do. I know you'd rely on me again. I know you'd ask for my help as a last resort. Oh... how thingsalwayscome full circle," Shadow Sabre sniggered towards the end. Sabre then looks away, unable to look at his shadow.
"Yeah yeah- Look, I know we just had our differences but, we're- Well, I'm the only one left possibly out of every reality! I know that you can't do much whilst inside of my mind-"
"I know you don't trust me, not after what I've done but, you know you can get Dark Steve- You really haven't forgot about him, have you?" Shadow Sabre asked. Sabre turns around to face his shadow again.
"No, of course not, Shadow. I couldn't resummon him if I wanted to anyways. Dark existed, because of the Dark Crystal and it's gone-"
"Well, you can just recreate it, and on top with the abilities of Madness Steve within the sword, you should be able to create it much easier than last time," Shadow Sabre interrupted.
"Okay... this is kind of nostalgic- Why are you helping?" Sabre questioned his shadow. Even though Sabre went to seek help from Shadow Sabre, he wasn't expecting him to help a single bit, let alone this much.
"Helping you helps me, doesn't it?" Shadow Sabre replied.
"While I'm inside of your mind, I'm your shadow. I have to do what you say. While you're in control, what you say goes, does it not?"
"Okay... Shadow... recreate the Dark Crystal," Sabre ordered.
"You got it," Shadow Sabre responded. Lightning began to summon on Sabre, and on the floor, a Dark Crystal appears. Sabre picks it up.
"Thought I'd never say this again... but thank you... Shadow... but this doesn't mean I won't forget what you did," Sabre shamefully thanked his shadow.
"Whatever you say, Sabre. After all, we are working toward the same goal. Madness is a threat to you, and he's a threat to me. Let's start working towards saving your friends. What are you waiting for? Summon Dark Steve... andyou will. Do it," Shadow Sabre casually responded, speaking slowly. Sabre uses the newly created Dark Crystal, summoning lightning. Sabre actually does resummon Dark Steve.
"No way... Dark Steve, is... is that you?" Sabre gasped. It's been almost a whole week since he seen Dark Steve.
"Sabre, where are we?" Is the first thing Dark Steve asked.
"Well, you know Eque- Actually you don't. Oh... you've missed a lot man. So much has happened while you were gone," Sabre replied.
"You don't say," Dark Steve responded.
"I can go ahead and explain to you what's been happening recently if you like?" Sabre offered.
"Sure, I guess," Dark Steve accepted.
(Barely an hour of explaining later)
"So yeah, the armour of the First Curse took Twilight and that, as well as literally everypony, every steve and probably everyone from every reality and dimension. So, Shadow- Yeah I know, but he actually helped recreate the Dark Crystal and that's how we're here. Yeah, we are in huge huge trouble right now man," Sabre finished explaining.
"So basically... Madness Steve went berserk after you defeated him?" Dark Steve responded.
"Yeah- I'm just glad to have you back Dark but, we need to work on fixing all of this. We're possibly the only beings left, and everything is up to us two," Sabre stated.
"Not exactly," Shadow Sabre said to Sabre.
"Shadow, what do you mean?" Sabre questioned.
"I sense three of these... ponies, still," Shadow Sabre answered.
"Celestia, Luna and Cadence?" Sabre asked his shadow.
"I don't sense them... but, there's... these three others," Shadow Sabre replied.
"Wait, you can sense three ponies- If so, take me and Dark to them. We need all the help we can get," Sabre demanded his shadow.
"Okay. Sure," Shadow Sabre responded, summoning lightning, taking Sabre and Dark Steve to those 3 ponies he could sense.
"There, in that tree house is where I sense them," Shadow Sabre pointed out, looking ahead of him. Sabre looks in the same direction as his shadow, and also sees a tree house, on this random apple tree, dark brown bark, with dark green leaves, one of the many apple trees in the midst of a field of them. The tree house has a red brownish coloured roof, and it's walls are a very pale colour. It has green steps, which go up, then halfway go up right, leading to a door made of brown wood, that has a heart at the top of it. Above that door is a purple coloured window. There's also another purple coloured window on the left side of the tree house. There is also a green platform outside, with yellow fencing around the edge to stop anypony accidently falling off by accident. Sabre and Dark Steve walks over to the green stairs by the tree.
"This tree house, it's really neat. I like it. Whoever made it, they done a good job, don't you think?" Sabre asked Dark Steve as they began walking up the stairs.
"Yeah, I like it to," Dark Steve replied. Before they knew it, they reached the top. Now, they're in front of the door. Sabre knocks on the door.
"Hello, anybod- Anypony in there?" Sabre loudly said as he knocks on the door, which gets answered. A bright yellow filly that has a bright orange coloured iris, that has a crimson red mane, nicely combed, and tied up with a bow, and has a red tail appears. They have a cutie mark that looks unique, until he sees 2 other fillies with similar cutie marks in the tree house.
