"Who... are you two!?" The yellow filly exclaimed, stepping back away from Sabre and Dark Steve.
"Hey, we're not going to hurt you," Sabre said with a calm tone to the filly.
"There's a much bigger issue at hand. We need all the help we can get," Dark Steve stated.
"What's up Apple Bl- Who are they!?" Another filly exclaimed, an orange filly with a less tidy, Violet mane and tail, and they have wings, a pegasus. They also have a silver coloured iris in their eyes.
"Look, we can explai-" Sabre gets cut off by another filly, a nice white coloured unicorn, with a fluffy and curly purple and pink mane and tail.
"They might be able to explain the disappearance of everypony," The unicorn filly pointed out to the other two.
"Oh, so you noticed the disappearance of the ponies too, huh?" Sabre asked.
"Yes, we were in Ponyville, went back here for something, then went back to Ponyville and everypony vanished!" The yellow filly exclaimed.
"I know who's responsible, because he's done it to everyone from my worl- Well, from the reality that... Dark came from shall we put it. Madness Steve, he's not just taken almost everypony from Equestria, he's also taken Twilight and her friends. Us five are possibl-"
"Wait, you two met Twilight, and her friends too?" The orange filly questioned Sabre and Dark Steve, suspicious of them.
"Yes, they were really kind. They... they helped us. But they've been taken, by Madness Steve-"
"Explain everything from when you first met Twilight and her friends," The yellow filly demanded. Sabre looks up to the sky and lets out a big sigh. He's just explained everything to Dark Steve, now he's got to explain to these 3 fillies everything from the literal beginning since he first met the mane 6.
"First, can we know who you three are?" Sabre asked. The yellow and orange filly are a little bit nervous of Sabre and Dark Steve, and steps back. But, the White filly steps forward and greets herself, as well as her friends for them.
"I'm Sweetie Belle, the orange one is Scootaloo and the yellow one is Apple Bloom."
"Ah okay, well, Sweetie Belle, I'm Sabre, and this here is Dark Steve. He's a good friend of mine. No need to worry," Sabre responded.
"So you say you've met Twilight and her friends, meaning you met Rainbow, AJ... and so on?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"Yes- I'll explain everything," Sabre replied.
(Over an hour of explaining later)
"Wait that means... whoever Madness Steve is... he took AJ!" Apple Bloom exclaimed.
"And Rarity too... oh no!" Sweetie Belle gasped.
"And Rainbow!" Scootaloo exclaimed as well.
"Yeah, Madness Steve... he uh- He's awful," Sabre responded.
"So this... 'Madness Steve' as you call him, is responsible for everypony disappearing, Sabre? There's also a whole different... reality... of beings called... steves?" Sweetie Belle asked, just digesting the load of information Sabre just given to her as well as her friends.
"Yes, I know we just came and- We came out of nowhere and just overload you three with a lot of information and so on, but are you three willing to help us get them back?" Sabre asked.
"I am, but it's also down to my friends," Sweetie Belle answered.
"Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, please. If you help us, we can get everypony back. I know it's hard to just... blindly trust somebody you don't know like this but, if we don't work together, Madness will win," Sabre said as he began to sound desperate.
"Count me in," Apple Bloom said as she held out her left forehoof.
"I'm willing to help too," Scootaloo said as she steps forward, putting her left forehoof onto Apple Bloom's. Sweetie Belle then puts her left forehoof on top. Sabre puts his right hand on top, then Dark Steve does too.
"Team," The 5 said as they took their hands, or hooves away. Then Discord teleports to the clubhouse. He notices everypony is gone.
"Who is that?" Dark Steve asked Sabre, switching his eyes between Discord and Sabre a few times.
"Oh, that's Discord, he's cool," Sabre replied.
"Where's everypony?" Discord asked, more towards Sabre.
"Wait, I thought you were watching! Have you not been paying attention!?" Sabre exclaimed, annoyed at Discord. After all, Discord did say he would be the one looking out.
"Oh... well, I went to do myself breakfast. Next thing I know, everypony is gone, and an entire day passes! Oh how could I be so... blind!?"
"Oh right, that explains it. Well... you know that armour? Well... Madness Steve, he may or may not have took it and absorbed literally everypony and every steve," Sabre replied slowly, not sure how to put it to Discord that Fluttershy was also taken. But Discord very quickly realizes that the mane 6 aren't here, and he quickly figures out why.
"That means... he tookFluttershy?" Discord questioned Sabre with a growl, his head lowering to Sabre's.
"Well, yeah-"
"Where?" Discord growled, the red pupils in his eyes glowing as he growled, interrupting Sabre.
"That's the thing, we don't know where Madness Steve took the armour afterwards," Sabre replied.
"Well first off, let's make this night as nopony is here to change that," Discord sighed as he snaps the fingers on his eagle claws, and instantly makes it night. Sabre is just confused by this as well as Dark Steve, which Discord notices.
"Oh, basically, the day and night cycle is controlled by Twilight... or anypony currently as ruler. If it's day for too long, everything will set a light," Discord briefly put it.
"Okay... but what matters is that we need to get all of those back from the armour, if they're still there. I don't even know if they're destroyed, but we at least need to try," Sabre stated. Everyone nodded in agreement.
"I can just take us to the armour-" As Discord snaps his fingers on his eagle claws to teleport to the armour, it doesn't work. Discord tries again, and it still doesn't work.
"Well, there goes the most...directplan," Discord sighed.
"Discord, I may have an idea. Can you take us to the Red Kingdom?" Sabre asked. Discord then teleports himself as well as Sabre, Dark Steve and the CMC to the centre of the Red Kingdom, by a water fountain.
Despite it being night time, the place is kept well lit, since M lighting areas that get very dark, pitch black dark.
"Wow..." Sweetie Belle slowly said in awe, looking at the surroundings.
"Why is everything made of cubes Sabre?" Scootaloo asked.
"Oh, it's nothing to wor-"
"Sabre, I can sense him nearby," Shadow Sabre warned, interrupting Sabre from speaking to the other 5, Dark Steve, Discord and the CMC.
"Wait, he's- He's here!?" Sabre quietly exclaimed at his shadow.
"Who's here?" Scootaloo asked with a low tone, anxious voice.
"You three, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo- And you too Dark, stay close to Discord and I," Sabre sternly replied.
"I am here... yes!" A voice eerily screeched, full of anger, on the other side of the fountain, summoning lightning to get everyone's attention. They turn around, and sees Madness Steve. When the CMC turned around, they deeply regretted it. What they saw is something worse than nightmares, nothing made them shake and tremble so much in their entire life.
"I see I've missed three ponies to trap in the armour!" Madness Steve growled as he glares at the CMC and hovers to them. They cower away, but the figure gets closer.
"No- Stay away from them! You already took everybody else! Just leave!" Sabre screamed angrily at Madness Steve. He laughs back at Sabre.
But suddenly, it appears he summons lightning and teleports away. As Madness Steve went away, Assistant Steve appeared behind where Madness Steve was standing. The robot caught Madness Steve off guard, and was able to teleport him away. It wasn't Madness Steve teleporting himself.
"Hello Sabre, Discord and- Ah, Dark Steve, and three new ponies, welcome," Assistant Steve politely greeted. He then looks over to the CMC.
"You three, I am Assistant Steve."
"Who w... was that thing... just th... there!?" Scootaloo stuttered, shaking, just as much as Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle.
"Scootaloo, that was Madness Steve. He's the one who took all the ponies... well, everyone," Sabre replied.
"Sabre, what happened to-" Sabre has done enough explaining, so Discord snaps his fingers on his eagle hand, and downloads a file into Assistant Steve's system explaining what happened, with Madness Steve taking control of the armour of the First Curse.
"Bravo Sabre, you moron. Now we got to find the armour of the First Curse as well," Assistant Steve said his input into the matter, his politeness instantly vanishing away.
"Yeah well- The First Curse is also at fault man- It doesn't matter. What we need to do is come up with a plan," Sabre stated.
"Us seven now, are the only ones left in existence outside of that armour- Well, except Madness... I guess there's Derpy as well, but she's under control of him, so yeah."
"On the contrary, the Red Leader is by the destroyed observatory. But, before we do anything, you four must get rest. My indicators say that you Sabre as well as... Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo, have not slept for a whole day. You four must go get some rest, before we continue moving forward," Assistant Steve suggested, pausing before saying the names of the CMC, processing and saving their names into his system.
"How did you kno-"
"Discord gave me a file that explains, the most recent events that occured. Man, you ponies have such weird names I must say," Assistant Steve interrupted Scootaloo.
"Says the one from a world where everyone's name ends in... 'Steve'!" Apple Bloom retaliated with a comeback against Assistant Steve, and walks up to the robot.
"Assistant, Apple Bloom, we're all friends here alright," Sabre calmly said, getting between Assistant Steve and Apple Bloom.
"Discord, I'm guessing you don't sleep all that much, do you?" Sabre asked, turning to face the draconicus.
"Why sleep when you can do more than sleep? I can't imagine what having regular sleep is like. It sounds pretty boring, and dull," Discord replied. Sabre begins instructing Discord on what to do.
"Okay...I take that as a no- Well, just make sure Madness can't enter this place. I think that Madness Steve, he uh- I don't think he quite recovered the power he had before we destroyed his... False Form thing-Aannd he's gone,okay,that's fine,as long he actually keeps watch,we should be fine." Discord immediately teleported away once Sabre said the thing he needed to really do.
"You three, I know somewhere we can rest, follow me," Sabre said to the CMC. Sabre began walking west, away from the fountain, towards M's house, with the CMC following him. Dark Steve also follows close by.
Sabre, Dark Steve and the CMC are now outside of M's house. Sabre opens the dark oak door, and enters, along with the other 4 coming in as well. Sabre then shuts the door, tight.
"Okay... everyone alright?" Sabre asked.
"Why is there a hole in the floor?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Ah, so M hadn't gone round to fixing that... that's a long story. It's not worth explaining," Sabre replied.
"Sabre, I know we just met, but thank you, for explaining on what's going on to us... but... I'm worried... and scared..." Sweetie Belle shakily said. Madness Steve makes Equestria's previous foes look like a newborn's toy. They wanted magic, control, dominance. Madness Steve on the other hand wants to see death, destruction and suffering, which is the part that's scaring Sweetie Belle as well as Apple Bloom and Scootaloo.
"Hey it's alright, Sweetie Belle. We will get everyone back. We're safe for now anyways too, so I wouldn't worry too much. But for now, I'd just grab some rest," Sabre yawned as he laid on the carpet on the floor. Meanwhile, Dark Steve went outside to grab some dirt, and used those dirt blocks to patch the hole up. Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo snuggled up with each other on the floor, while Dark Steve kept watch, incase Madness Steve came about again. However, the area around M's house is so well lit that Madness Steve hasn't even discovered the house.
