"So Origin, what's the idea?" Sabre asked.
"Well... from what I know exactly, Madness Steve... wasn't always know as Madness Steve, and was not always this way," Origin Steve started off.
"Wait... Madness used to be a good guy? So, obviously something major happened to make him like this, and for him to do these horrible things," Sabre thought to himself.
"He used to be know as Calmness Steve. He was... created, on accident, over something not worth delving into at the moment. There is God Steve, and there used to be an infinite numbers of him, all of them all-powerful, all-knowing, present every, all different in an infinite number of ways. They're the reason for Madness Steve's existence, and it was unintentional. That's why Madness is also known as 'The Accidental Creation of the God Steves' Sabre," Origin Steve finished.
"Yeah... and... what's that meant to mean?" Sabre asked.
"Madness- Well... Calmness, at the time, wanted everything to be calm, peaceful and good. The God Steves feared Calmness, for his power and presence, which their omniscience couldn't explain. They rejected Calmness Steve from being a friend. Can you imagine, if everyone around you, were scared of you, for the power you hold, how would you feel?" Origin Steve replied.
"That is pretty awful, being feared when you just wanted to do good. It's like when I used the darkness to fight Void, and then the Demon Steves, and so on," Sabre thought to himself.
"Are you getting at what I think you're getting at?" Discord questioned Origin Steve.
"Yes, and the six can't do it alone. All the leaders, must unite with them. The only way we can reverse all this and everyone to come back is to... re-" Lightning strikes on both Origin Steve and the First Curse, vaporizing the 2 out of existence instantly.
"Origin- First Curse- NO!" Sabre shouted as he ran up to where the 2 were standing, sniffling.
"I'm pretty sure Origin Steve was trying to say reform- So this whole entire time we had to reform Madness Steve!?" Discord exclaimed. For a few moments, there's silence.
"If what Origin said is true, and Madness was this... Calmness Steve person, then that is what must be done. The only way we can stop him is to reform him back," Sabre eventually replied, breaking the silence.
"Wait a minute- Weren't the six about reforming?" Said Time Steve.
"Yeah Time, they reformed Discord- Well... Fluttershy was the main reason as he states- But yes, they've reformed people- Well, ponies in their case, same thing- Hang on a minute..." Sabre realizes something, thinking back to when he was using the Curse of the Faceless.
"Wait- It makes sense- We were never meant to try and destroy Madness this entire time, we had to reform him! The Curse of the Faceless- Madness must be affect by emotions- Emotions must be the key to reforming Madness!" Sabre exclaimed.
"The guy with the blue eyes said we need all the leaders too... so uh, uh- Whoever's the Leader of the Red Steves would have to come with us too," Elemental Steve replied.
"But how would the other leaders react- We don't have a choice. It's either that, or we don't reform Madness and we get tortured for eternity. Assistant, can you go and find M for us please?" Sabre requested.
"I will go and do that," Assistant Steve replied as he walks away, heading to leave the lab.
"So um- Professor, I... know we've got off the wrong foot when we first met, but just incase this all fails, just know that... you're a friend. While M is with us, I need you to temporarily play the role as the leader of the Red Steves. I don't know how long we'll be gone for, or if we ever come back," Said Sabre.
"Sure, I can do that. Also, thank you Sabre. You're my friend too," Professor Red responded.
(10 minutes later)
Assistant Steve returns with M to where Sabre, Time Steve, Elemental Steve, Professor Red, Discord and Derpy have been waiting.
"Hey everyone," Said M.
"M, you know what to do? Has Assistant Steve explained to you what it is we must do?" Sabre asked.
"Yeah, Assistant explained what we need to do," M replied.
"Also M, if you still have that hood of yours, I'd suggest you put that on. We'll be going around all the kingdoms. Once we've gathered the leaders and the ponies, we should be good to go," Sabre suggested. M then puts his hood on, which he actually hasn't put on for a while, not since helping Sabre against the Corrected Sun situation at the Rainbow Kingdom at least.
"Everyone, before you go..." Assistant Steve said before Time Steve went to teleport with Sabre, Elemental Steve, Discord and Derpy.
"Yeah, Assistant?" Sabre responded.
"Be careful, all of you. I... hope for your safe return. Do good out there, friends," Assistant Steve replied.
"Thanks Assistant, we will," Sabre responded.
"Look at how my boy has grown! They grow up so fast!" Professor Red happily cried, getting emotional.
"Okay, we have to go now. There's no time," Time Steve said as he summons lightning and teleports himself, Sabre, Elemental Steve, M, Discord and Derpy.
Time Steve starts with the Orange Kingdom. They are under the stand.
"We've got to make this quick. There's not much... time. Stay here," Time Steve said as he immediately went into the kingdom, to find the Orange Leader. Within literal seconds, he comes back with an Orange Steve with an orange hat.
"Woah- Time- Slow down!" The Orange Leader exclaimed.
"Okay Time- Time, we're not gonna get results at this speed man, we've got to make sure we're doing everything right," Said Sabre.
"There is NO time!" Time Steve exclaimed.
"Sorry Orange Leader- But I'm guessing you've seen the sky," Said Sabre.
"Yeah, I have," The Orange Leader responded.
"Orange Leader, Madness Steve has left the Madness Dimension, and the only way we can stop him is to reform him with all the leaders along with everypony as well- I don't know how much sense Time spoke to you about everything or what- Look, we really need you Orange Leader, can you help us-" As Sabre is talking, the ground began to rumble, and then a flash. Discord doesn't hesitate to create a force field around everyone, but that began to collapse by whatever is hitting them until Derpy helps him out with her abilities, keeping the field up.
Once the flash died down, everyone could see the only thing that survived the flash is the stand, then Discord lowers his force field. Everything that was outside the force field didn't survive. Every building is on fire, the ground being charred black and various shades of grey. Any of the Orange Steves in the kingdom are left dead, laying on the ground, red and violet bruise marks on them.
"Oh my- Woah- No!"
"I- No- My kingdom..." The Orange Leader is left speechless, stuttering as much as Sabre as well as everyone else, struggling to comprehend what just hit his kingdom, and out of nowhere too. Discord snaps his Eagle claws and a geiger counter appears in his eagle hand. Then, he stretches that arm out, placing the geiger counter near the ground. The device began creating very loud and consistent cracking noises.
"Gamma ray burst..."
"I did try... I did try to save them..." Discord quietly spoke, the feeling of guilt from being unable to save the Orange Kingdom. All of a sudden, all the Orange Steves that were caught in the gamma ray blast came back, lightning striking where they originally died. Then, they feel to the ground again as the radiation kicked in immediately and died again, and process kept repeating over and over again, except each time the Orange Steves died, it got slower, and more painful. Derpy went to try fly to save at least a single Orange Steve, but Discord grabs her by her tail.
"DON'T! You go out there you'll end up like them!" Discord yelled harshly as he puts Derpy back on the ground.
"I'm sorry I shouted like that..." Discord apologized in a quieter tone.
"I- It's okay..." Derpy sighed, looking to the ground, unable to look at the Orange Steves that are constantly being constantly irradiated to death and being brought back for it to happen again.
"Orange Leader, you remember Twilight right?" Sabre asked.
"Yes. She's the purple pony, right?" The Orange Leader asked to double check.
"Yeah, she'll talk to you. I'm so sorry that... you had to see this happen to your kingdom. But we have to keep going. We intend to gather all the leaders and everypony, to reform Madness back to Calmness, it's the only way everything will go back to normal. I've got a feeling the longer we take, the more things start to get worse and we're literally on a timer." After Sabre finishes speaking, Time Steve summons lightning, teleporting the Orange Leader to where everypony else is, Twilight's castle.
"Okay Time, Yellow Kingdom next. Let's go," Said Sabre. Time Steve summons lightning as he began teleporting himself, Sabre, Elemental Steve, M, Discord and Derpy to the Yellow Kingdom.
Time Steve has taken everyone next to the Colourless Guard outpost. He hastily heads to the castle that's to everyone's right. Meanwhile, Derpy, upon noticing the outpost, walks away.
"Hey Derpy wait up!" Sabre yelled out as he follows the grey pegasus, who then pauses and sits down.
"I- That building- I can't look at it- I- I..."
"I know, but you can't just run off like that," Sabre calmly responded.
"Sabre, is Derpy okay?" M asked as he walks over. Elemental Steve and Discord also walks over.
"It's- It's not important," Sabre replied.
"I have some pumpkin pie if that will make you feel better," Elemental Steve offered the grey pegasus, handing a slice of pumpkin pie with his right hand.
"No thanks..." Derpy murmured, looking away from the pumpkin pie.
"I- I did howable things here..."
"Derpy, it wasn't you- You know this- I know you still feel horrible about what happened-"
"Okay- Yellow Leader has been sent- Green Kingdom next!" Time Steve suddenly comes back, interrupting Sabre. Time Steve then summons lightning, taking everyone to the Green Kingdom.
Everyone is on this path that's made of spruce slabs that's 3 blocks wide, oak wood on each side, and then grass, with some jungle trees on either side, on the grass. Behind everyone is a jungle biome, convenient for the jungle trees. Ahead are some houses, all of them having 4 sides, all on top of a platform made of oak wood planks, supported by stilts made of oak logs, water below. The Green Kingdom is next to an ocean. The houses of the kingdom are mainly of green concrete, oak wood logs and spruce slabs helping support the houses. On the edges, the houses are smaller and detached, whereas the houses more in the centre are larger and terraced. But all the buildings have a roof that is a triangle on each side, dark oak wooden materials on the edges of the roof.
"I recently got the locations of all the kingdoms before any of you ask. Let's go, c'mon, keep up!"
"Time Steve! You're going too fast!" Discord shouted as he snaps his Eagle claws and teleports Time Steve back to him.
"Discord has a point Time. You're going too fast- You need- You need to relax!" Sabre exclaimed.
"You two think I can RELAX RIGHT NOW!?" Time Steve yelled back.
"Time, calm down or your coat might fall off," Elemental Steve said calmly as he heads to his brother. As soon as Elemental Steve brought up that possibility, Time Steve almost immediately calms down.
"Have a pumpkin pie." Elemental Steve hands Time Steve a pumpkin pie, who gladly takes it and eats it whole, then sighs.
"Okay, you two- M as well- You three stay here. Us three will go and look for the Green Leader," Sabre said as he walks into the Green Kingdom with Discord and Derpy.
"Sabre, I'd imagine the leader's place might be more in the middle, we should head there," Discord suggested.
"Yeah you're probably right Discord. Let's head to the middle- Okay, Discord and Derpy, split up. Look for a Green Steve with a turtle helmet. If any of you two find him before me, shout out my name," Sabre instructed. He, Discord and Derpy then split of into different directions.
After a minute goes by, Derpy stumbles upon a building that has a 3 by 3 block gap on each side, and sees a Green Steve with a turtle helmet, sitting on a massive dark oak wooden chair. Above them is an item frame, with the Green Shard in it.
"Hey... are you the Gween Leader?" Derpy asked as she approaches the Green Steve.
"Oh, why yes, I am the Green Leader. I haven't seen you or your kind before, but I've heard about your kind. How may I help you today?" The Green Leader politely asked.
"Sabre! He's here!" Derpy yelled out.
"Where- Oh, there you are- Green Leader, there you are. It's been a while since we last spoke." Sabre comes in, standing next to Derpy.
"Oh hello Sabre, and do you know them?" The Green Leader asked.
"Yes, she's Derpy, one of my new friends- Have you not heard that there's a totally different reality out there that have talking ponies?" Sabre asked back.
"Yeah, I've briefly heard about these... ponies, mainly from a few meetings with Light. I hope for a great future with them, and setting up trades with... Equestria... if I recall the name of their home correctly," The Green Leader replied.
"Yeah, I hope so too Green Leader. We've come to ask you something," Said Sabre.
"And what shall that be?" The Green Leader asked.
"Have you heard about Madness Steve?" Sabre asked the Green Leader back.
"Yes, I have indeed. That was also brought up in my meetings with Light," The Green Leader replied.
"Well I'm guessing you've seen the sky. That's Madness doing that, he's left the Madness Dimension," Sabre stated.
"Yeah, everyone's talking about it," The Green Leader responded.
"We have a solution to the problem, and it involves all of us," Said Sabre.
"Oh?" The Green Leader responded.
"I was wondering if you could come with us-" Lightning began striking, making Sabre, the Green Leader and Derpy jump.
"Huh? What's happening- It sounds like it's coming from over here." Sabre walks out the back of the building, Derpy following him. The Green Leader quickly grabs the Green Shard before catching up with Sabre and Derpy. They head out onto the wooden platform and even from the building, they could see this massive wall of orange and yellow glow. They head over there to see what it is.
"NO MORE! NO TIME!" They could hear Time Steve shouting who is flying along the wall, summoning lightning. Elemental Steve is flying alongside his brother, trying to create a wall of dirt and ice to help him out. However, the Orange and yellow wall is too hot and instantly burns any dirt and ice Elemental Steve tried to create. Discord tries using his chaos magic to sway the wall the opposite direction, but isn't able to. He can only help keep that said wall in place. He then suddenly disappears, no longer with Time Steve and Elemental Steve.
Time Steve and Elemental Steve then flies back down, to where Sabre, the Green Leader and Derpy is.
"Is that... a tsunami of lava!? Time, Elemental, what happened!? I was just about the ask the Green Leader- What's going on here!?" Sabre exclaimed.
"Well you see... ALL REALITIES AND DIMENSIONS ARE ENDING!" Time Steve shouted. Sabre then notices smoke coming from below. He looks down and notices what was water below them, is now lava.
"Woah woah woah- Everyone be careful! Madness Steve... he's now going harder on everything- That's not good at all!" Sabre panicked to himself. He then notices what was water below the whole kingdom, is now lava.
"What!?" The Green Leader exclaimed.
"Time and Elemental, where's M and Discord!?" Sabre questioned, who is growing more concerned.
"They're helping the Green Steve's evacuate- We need to get outta here! NOW!" Time Steve shouted. Very soon, the wooden platform began to catch on fire, which the other Green Steve's notices and the entire kingdom goes into a panicked frenzy, Green Steves running around, some accidently falling into the lava, burning up, and then lightning began summoning in the sky. The Green Steves that fell into the lava fell from the sky, and back into the lava, and burnt up again, and repeat, except their death got slower each time they died in the lava.
"We have to help as many of my people as possible!" The Green Leader shouted. Derpy immediately gets to work, her lazy eye pointing in the same direction as her other eye. She grabs a random Green Steve with her forehooves, getting them out of the burning Green Kingdom, and does the same with 3 more Green Steves. Lava began to burst out the ground in random locations, either hitting or not hitting the Green Kingdom, making it too dangerous for Derpy to try and help more Green Steves. Her abilities won't help her against the lava bursts. A single one of these bursts of lava will just outright incinerate her, regardless of whatever she did. She tries stomping her left forehoof down on the ground to teleport more Green Steves, but it isn't working.
Meanwhile, the lava bursts that did hit the Green Kingdom incinerated whatever it hit, the buildings immediately becoming piles of ash, which fell down into the lava, the first waves of these bursts somehow not catching anyone in them. Meanwhile, Discord is trying his hardest to keep the Green Steves that escaped as calm as possible, giving them whatever they needed, from bottles of water and bread. Then, they ran off in panic as more lava bursts appear out of nowhere.
Sabre, Time Steve, Elemental Steve, the Green Leader and any remaining Green Steves that haven't got caught by the lava ran as fast as they could, darting to the exit. The bursts of lava began to get more consistent, and more lava bursts hitting the buildings of the Green Kingdom and catching unfortunate Green Steves in them, burning them into a crisp and getting caught in the cycle with the other unfortunate Green Steves, falling from the sky and falling into the lava to be burnt again, and repeat. Sabre, Time Steve, Elemental Steve, the Green Leader and 2 more regular Green Steves makes it out the Green Kingdom. Meanwhile, the 2 Green Steve's that got out panic and ran away, into the jungle, where the other surviving Green Steves escaped too. Everyone else, all they could do is watch as lava bursts out the ground. The Green Leader couldn't speak. He's frozen in place, stunned at how sudden this all happened.
"I'm... I- I'm sorry- I- I couldn't do anything..." The Green Leader stuttered.
"Green Leader, it's okay- We have a plan though. We intend to reform Madness back to Calmness Steve, with the help of all the leaders and with the help of some ponies. Reforming Madness is the only way we can stop this and reverse everything back the way it was. I know it's hard to let this slide, but we really need you Green Leader," Sabre exclaimed.
"If it helps stop this, I'm with you," The Green Leader responded, breaking the silence and the inconsistent stuttering.
"We'll send you somewhere. By the way, the surroundings won't be blocks like they are here. The Orange and Yellow Leader will also be present," Sabre explained further. The Green Leader nodded, and as he did, Time Steve teleports him, summoning lightning as he did. He then summons lightning again, teleporting everyone again.
Sabre, Time Steve, Elemental Steve, M, Discord and Derpy are in a flower field. Ahead is a mountain, with purple houses dotted here and there on it. However, many of the houses are on fire, and missing their roofs. From the top of a hill, lava has flown down and caught the majority of the houses, all down to the bottom.
"Is this... the Violet Kingdom?" Sabre gasped as he heads in the direction of the mountain.
"Oh, Sabre, Time, Elemental, hey. I wasn't expecting to see you all here. You three, it's nice to meet you," A Violet Steve said as they walk up to Sabre, Time Steve, Elemental Steve, M, Discord and Derpy. They see the Violet Steve wearing a purple hat. Is is the Violet Leader.
"Violet Leader, where are the other Violet Steves? What happened here?" Sabre asked with a low voice, looking back at the mountain.
"Magma from the ground erupted from the top of that mountain. Some of my people got destroyed whilst trying to save others. I too was about to be destroyed, but two Violet Steves sacrificed themselves to get me out," The Violet Leader explained before sighing and looking to the ground.
"I told my people to run away and hide... but I feel like I could've done more..."
"Violet Leader, we may have a solution, and with your help, we can do this. As your power is around kindness, love and all that, it'll be really good at stopping all this. We really do need some kindness in this situation," Sabre explained.
"Anything for my poor people out there, please..." The Violet Leader dully murmured.
"You've heard of the ponies and the situation caused by another steve called Madness Steve yeah- Well, Madness is causing all this and to fix this we must reform him. We intend to gather all the leaders together, and with the help of certain ponies, we can do this. We'll reform Madness Steve back to Calmness Steve, and everyone affected will come back," Sabre better explained.
"Really?" The Violet Leader gasped, his voice lightening up, his head looking up again.
"Yes, but we can't do it without you," Sabre replied.
"Yeah, I'll help you, with anything," Said the Violet Leader.
"Also, Sabre, can I say something real quick before you go?" The Violet Leader requested.
"Yeah, sure, go ahead," Sabre replied.
"Listen... I wanted to tell you this at your house, but I just didn't get the chance what with everyone else," The Violet Leader started off, pausing briefly before speaking again.
"I just want to apologize again for what happened- What I did back at the Rainbow Kingdom and just with everything- I just know you were right about all the things... I thought were wrong."
"Hey, we all do what we think is best. I understand why you did what you did, and I'm sure you understand why I did what I did. We're friends, Violet Leader," Sabre thoughtfully responded, shaking hands with the Violet Leader.
"I'm still really sorry..." The Violet Leader repeated.
"Well... it's okay. Just know that it's okay, no matter what," Sabre responded.
"Cool- So about Indigo Steves- Yeah, Sabre, I can't get there- Like y'know I can't teleport us there even with my equipment, and Derpy hasn't been to the middleworld herself so she can't take us there either," Time Steve pointed out.
"We have the tower remember?" Sabre pointed out.
"Well about that... I've noticed the tower has completely collapsed- Like- It's just rubble now," Elemental Steve replied.
"I have something for that- Well, I did, but no longer," Said the Violet Leader.
"I have another idea to get us there... even though I've not been there myself," Discord stated.
"Now, Elemental Steve, I'll turn myself into a portal, and with your abilities, you must connect it to the middleworld. You can't go through, or it will collapse everything harder than it already is. M, I suggest you also stay back too, just to watch over. Sabre, Time Steve and Derpy, you have to go through," Discord instructed. Before Discord done anything, Time Steve teleports the Violet Leader, to where all the other leaders currently are, at Twilight's castle. Discord snaps his claws and he turns himself into a 6 by 6 portal made of blocks that are a mix of the same shade of colour of Discord's top and bottom half of his body, and the portal frames in the square are yellow, the portal frame in the middle being red. The red portal frame moves, pointing at Elemental Steve.
"Now, Elemental Steve," Said Discord. Elemental Steve summons lightning, and connects the Discord portal to the middleworld.
"Okay um, we're five in, and two to go, huh, Time and Derpy," Sabre lightly said.
"Three, two, one, Indigo Steves here we come!" Sabre exclaimed as he ran into the portal, Time Steve and Derpy following in with Sabre.
Sabre, Time Steve and Derpy are now in the middleworld. The floating blocks have all fallen, which have become these pitch black blocks that they still don't know what they are and the water below has become the ever more present lava, but that doesn't matter right now. Ahead is a massive floating platform of grass with a 3 story high purple house on top. The first layer, the entrance in is in the middle that has a dark oak door, with purple windows on either side. The second layer, the inner area gets smaller as the roof starts taking shape there, made of dark oak materials dyed an Indigo colour, except the edges. The third layer, on the left, the roof stops there, but on the right, the roof continues up a bit further up, with a tower-like structure running in the middle above the entrance on the bottom layer. The 3 notice an Indigo Steve wearing a purple hat. It's the Indigo Leader.
"Oh hey Sabre, Time, and pony. Let me come down to you three," The Indigo Leader said as he jumps down, which isn't too far of a drop, and then then walks over to Sabre, Time Steve and Derpy.
"I don't think I've met you. What is your name?" The Indigo Leader asked the grey pegasus.
"Indigo, this is Derpy, we've saved her, from what Madness was doing. However though- I'm guessing you've seen the sky right, Indigo?" Sabre replied for Derpy.
"I'm... weally sorwy for what happened," Derpy shyly said to the Indigo Leader.
"It's alright, and yes Sabre, I've noticed the sky," The Indigo Leader responded.
"Horrible things have been happening out there. A gamma ray burst hit the Orange Kingdom. The Green Kingdom got torn apart by lava. The mountain the Violet Kingdom is on all of a sudden basically became a volcano. Something now probably has happened to the Yellow Kingdom- It's a mess out there, but there is a solution to this, all of this," Sabre stated to the Indigo Leader, then explains what the plan is.
"Madness was not always Madness, he used to be Calmness. With the leaders and everypony, we intend to reform Madness back to Calmness. If we can, we can reverse all of this, and everything will go back to normal."
"You sure? It sounds way too easy," Said the Indigo Leader.
"I don't know- Madness slash Calmness have existed for quadrillions of years and whatnot, but this is all we have. If we don't try, then this will keep going on, for an eternity. Reforming Madness is our only shot," Sabre replied.
"So I'm guessing you need to go into the world beyond I'm guessing... so you can go and get Blue," The Indigo Leader assumed.
"Yes, Indigo- I know it's breaking the rules and that, but unless we want all this to go on for an eternity, we have to break the rules, one more time," Sabre responded.
"Okay, I'll send you and Derpy there," The Indigo Leader said as he summons lightning, teleporting Sabre and Derpy to the world beyond.
Sabre and Derpy are on a hill, at the bottom of the quartz stairs to the Blue Leader's house. The first thing Sabre does is looks into the sky. The sky, even in the afterlife dimension, the sky is the same as it is everywhere else, that ominous mixture of black, red orange and yellow.
"The world beyond... I never thought I'd come to the spirit world again, let alone in this situation. Madness' effects extends even here-" Sabre notices water is created out of nowhere. He then sees everywhere is on fire, and the terrain is no longer completely white. There is bedrock, obsidian, glowing obsidian, magma and anywhere there was calm water has changed to restless lava. Meanwhile, Derpy is hovering around in the flames, creating whole chunks of water in trying to put the flames out.
"Sabre, the fire... it's... it- It's getting harder to put out..." Derpy panted as she began to lower, and almost fell into the flames, but Sabre uses the Shadow Sword he still has and catches Derpy with some kind of force and pulls her over to him.
"I- I trwied..."
"It's okay Derpy, I know you did. But for now, we've got to get the Blue Leader," Sabre responded.
"Derpy, come with me, up these stairs." Sabre began walking up the quartz stairs, Derpy hovering by Sabre.
"With how thin these stairs are, I'm bound to fall off them," Derpy giggled slightly.
"Sabre?" A voice said behind them. Sabre turns around and sees an Orange Steve.
"Are you... the- Are you... Orange Steve- Third hero Orange Steve!?" Sabre exclaimed as he rushes back down.
"Derpy, go knock on the door and get the Blue Leader. I'll go speak with the Orange Steve," Said Sabre. Derpy continues hovering up while Sabre walks back down to meet the Orange Steve.
"Were you the Orange Steve that became the hero- Why does your voice sound different if so?" Sabre wondered.
"Oh, I'm Funny Orange Steve. That Orange... he still feels guilty about what he did, and I've tried to make him feel better with my jokes ah ha. Doing what I do best, being... funny," The Orange Steve replied.
"Oh, Funny it's you- Y'know, a lot has been going on. I do miss going to the Orange Kingdom and you telling me a joke or two," Sabre responded.
"I think I can tell by the sky that a lot has been going on," Said Funny Orange Steve.
"Let's catch up. What have I missed?" Funny Orange Steve asked.
"A lot of horrible stuff has been happening, especially as of late. I feel like it'd be... wrong, and disrespectful to tell you what's been happening whilst you're meant to really be resting, if you get what I mean," Sabre replied.
"You can show yourselves to anyone if you choose to here. I chose to show myself to you, because you're here. I haven't shown you myself for nothing now have I? I just wanted to know how you've been doing," Funny Orange Steve responded, chuckling slightly afterward.
"Okay- I'll tell you just the recent stuff as... well, this is also affecting the world beyond. There's this steve called Madness Steve, and has caused the steves and I to meet these ponies from not just a different universe, but from a different reality and even a different dimension all together. I've been intending on bringing all the leaders together, and with the help of some of these ponies, we will reform him back to who he apparently was originally, Calmness Steve. I'll fix all of this- We will fix all of this," Sabre explained.
"All this really does just seem like... madness, I guess you could say, ha," Funny Orange Steve responded, sniggering at the end.
"Heh- Y'know, I really miss having you around man," Sabre responded back.
"I'll go head off now, it's been nice speaking to you, see ya," Said Funny Orange Steve.
"Yeah, see you later too, Funny," Sabre said back. He turns around an notices Derpy is back, and with the Blue Leader.
"Oh um, hey, Blue and Derpy," Said Sabre.
"Oh Sabre- Who's this- What's happening?" The Blue Leader questioned.
"First, that's Derpy, and second, bad things are happening. It's not just this reality that's been affected, all realities and dimensions have been affected- Infinite amount of them- Everything. Not just this one, but the one Derpy is from, all have been affected. Not just universes or particular dimensions, afterlife or not, whole realities, all of them are being affected," Sabre explained.
"Like... all of... existence?" The Blue Leader slowly said, stuttering at how widespread the effects are.
"I know it seems crazy, it's... super complicated. Time and Indigo are currently waiting for us in the middle world," Sabre replied.
"You know, it's really ironic. This world's supposed to be full of snow and ice, but now... you could even say all of it's just melting," Said the Blue Leader, looking down slightly at the ground after speaking.
"Luckily it hasn't reached over here, but we shouldn't stand around. I can stop this, Blue. I can fix all of this. We can fix all of this. We intend on doing that by reforming the one that is causing all of this in the first place. Madness Steve, you heard of him right? He wasn't always Madness, he used to be Calmness- What matters is we need you, Blue, to come with us. This is our last shot. Things will only get worse if we don't take action now," Sabre responded clearly, no high or low tone in his voice, just very monotone and clear.
"I see, and for the good of everyone... I'm in," The Blue Leader responded.
"Okay- Blue, do you mind taking us to the middleworld for us? With me and Derpy having some of Madness' abilities, we thought it'd be wise if you teleported us, just to be safe," Sabre requested. The Blue Leader nodded as he summons lightning, teleporting himself, Sabre and Derpy to the middleworld.
