"What do you mean Hypno?" Sabre questioned.
"Ah ha ha heh... oh hohowo... Twilightightightight alreadyeyeye guessedwdwd itititrtrtrrr, andnd she was rightwasrightrtrtrrrr!" Hypno Steve replied, raising the volume of his voice.
"What? Huh- No...-"
"Yeseses Twilightightightwtwtrtrrr, yeseseses... that's why. The loop has been broken, and now everythingingingng willililwlwl fall apart-"
"Not exactly," A voice said behind everyone. Everyone turns around, and sees Origin Steve and the First Curse.
"Origin- First Curse- You two are fine!? I thought you were destroyed!" Sabre exclaimed.
"We were, but now we're back... you've done it. You all have done it. You all done something we couldn't of done. But there is one more thing left we all have to work together to fix," Origin Steve stated.
"I thought you said you were... cursed or something, right Origin Steve?" Pinkie Pie pointed out.
"Well... I was, but when things were descending into madness, the First Curse lifted the paradoxical curse placed upon me. My continued existence has given this universe the strong building blocks, and which the steves and beings have... unknowingly used, to create their fabric of reality, in which... they call their own. The First Curse was the one who lifted that curse off of me, which is why I'm able to continue existing, but it removed the reason for this loop to exist, meaning everything will still unravel... a paradoxical catch twenty two. Everything that happened since the curse was first placed will cease to have ever existed. This universe, will begin to return to the state it once was, a place without steves, power... must rebalanced. I can clarify that the ponies won't be directly affected, but they'll lose any memory of meeting the steves, as all this will cease... to of ever happened," Origin Steve explained.
"Wait... we'll forget ponies and steves ever met!?" Rarity exclaimed, everypony gasping afterwards.
"We don't want to forget Sabre and the steves!" Scootaloo cried.
"There is a way to stop that from happening... Scootaloo," The First Curse responded.
"What is it we need to do?" Starlight asked, looking at the First Curse.
"To kick-start the loop back up," The First Curse replied.
"I thought Madness becoming Calmness again would fix it! So why isn't everything fixed!?" Sabre exclaimed.
"Calmness Steve... has reversed everything he has done as Madness Steve. He, as Madness Steve, hasn't interfered with the loop... until now. Now he is no longer Madness and is back to Calmness, he will reverse everything he caused... literally everything. He is letting time correct itself. You were the key to all of this Sabre, but the door has been broken," Origin Steve explained.
"But I don't get it! We reformed Madness back to Calmness! This should've saved everybody! Does this mean we were doomed to lose from the beginning, no matter what!?" Sabre exclaimed.
"No, you've done everything right, up until now Sabre. You followed the right path, and you've made the right decisions. But, there is still more that must be done," Origin Steve replied.
"Wouldn't that mean Madness Steve slash Calmness Steve would cease to exist?" Twilight asked.
"It won't affect him, as he was created long before I was, before any reality existed," Origin Steve replied.
"Is there anyway to fix this... 'metaphorical' door?" Light Steve asked, looking at Origin Steve.
"Heh. They know," Origin Steve replied, looking at Time Steve and Derpy.
"Time, Derpy, you have an idea to fix this?" Sabre asked.
"Since Hypno Steve gave spoilers of the future to me, yes I do- Well, we do," Derpy replied.
"I... I didn't want to panic evwepony... I... I uh..."
"Derpy, it's okay, we understand," Sabre gently responded.
"Before we do though... we need somepony. I know somepony who can help," Derpy said as she taps her left forehoof down on the ground, teleporting away.
"I'm pretty certain on who she's getting," Time Steve said to himself.
"Are we able to help Sabre? He doesn't have to do this alone. He's our friend, we're his friend," Fluttershy asked, switching views between Sabre and Origin Steve.
"Yes, but Sabre has to be the one to create me. He is the key, he... must be the one to connect the timelines. Time isn't linear, and isn't just always moving forward, time is everywhere. Time shoots off in every direction, for every paradoxical universe there exists. Every timeline... goes off in a separate direction Fluttershy. Me and Sabre are connected. Him and I were trapped in this loop, and I don't know for how long, but as of recent events, we may have a way out... after being trapped for so long. Either way, *looks at Sabre* you still have to be the one that connects the times together. You have to connect the timeline back to the original starting point," Origin Steve replied.
"But why does it have to just be me? Thinking about it, it seems like kind of a reach, I'm not gonna lie," Sabre responded.
"Sabre, don't you get it? It's... always been you... ever since the beginning," Origin Steve replied.
"Sabre... there's a reason why you were worthy," The First Curse replied.
"You have to recreate him, Sabre. That's a reason why you are the key to all of this," Hypno Steve summarized the whole answer for Sabre.
"What, I- I don't get it- I- What!?"
"Sabre, you are other worldly, and the creator. This was a bootstrap paradox, and only you can reconnect the times together," Time Steve explained.
"So you mean the only reason steves were created... is because I came here, and the only reason I came here is because steves were created!?"
"Yep," Time Steve replied to Sabre.
"But if I do that, I might never see anyone again-"
"You will, because you now have us," Twilight interrupted Sabre as she steps forward, then starts speaking again.
"I can cast a spell that can send you back. This loop sounds like it's gone on for... whoever knows how long, with you always staying back. But this time, you'll be coming back, I promise you Sabre." The rest of the mane 6, the CMC, Starlight, Spike and Dinky steps forward, over to Sabre.
"Sabre, everything will be okay," Therapist Green Steve reassured.
"My mummy always comes up with an idea. She is clever and always works things out. She always comes up with an idea," Dinky firmly said, adding to the reassurance to Sabre.
A few seconds later, Derpy comes back with a stallion that is brown, with a darker brown main and tail, with a sand timer as his cutie mark.
"Yep, I was correct," Said Time Steve.
"Derpy, who is this? Can he help us," Sabre asked.
"I certainly can," The stallion replied.
"I am Doctor Whooves."
"He also knows stuff about time," Time Steve stated to Sabre.
"Ah, right," Sabre responded. He then looks over at Doctor Whooves.
"So uh... Doctor Whooves- I'm just gonna say Doctor- Doctor, has Derpy explained what's happening?" Sabre asked.
"Yes," Doctor Whooves replied.
"Can we do this somewhere? Just for uh... personal nostalgia, as well as personal nostalgia for my brother-" As Time Steve makes a request, everyone gets teleported.
Sabre, Dark Steve, Time Steve, Light Steve, Elemental Steve, Therapist Green Steve, Hypno Steve, Origin Steve, the First Curse, the mane 6, the CMC, Starlight, Spike, Derpy and Dinky are standing on a flat space of grass. They turn around, and sees an old tall portal made of bedrock, overgrown with leaves. Around everyone are trees, either oak or birch, with a lake behind everyone. It was the portal to the void. In the middle are a set of red nether brick stairs, regular nether bricks on each side, leading upwards to where you would go through the portal.
"Oh, this place. Why here, Time?" Sabre asked.
"Personal nostalgia, for both me and Elemental... but it wasn't me who teleported everyone though," Time Steve replied.
"Looks like I guessed correctly Time Steve." Standing on those red nether brick stairs is...
"Discord!"
"Fluttershy!"
Both cried, both Fluttershy and Discord running up to each other, out onto the bit of grass in the middle and lung at each other, Fluttershy extending her forehooves, Discord extending his arms out, both eyes being very watery. As soon as they make contact, Fluttershy's forehooves and Discord's arms tightly clamped shut, both winding each other at how tight they're hugging each other, but they didn't stop regardless, not until they literally could not breathe. Only then did they let go. Everyone else is glad Discord is okay, Discord is glad everyone is okay. But both Fluttershy and Discord especially are glad each other are okay.
"I'm so glad you're okay!" Discord cried.
"I'm glad you're okay too!" Fluttershy cried back.
"I see you're back Discord. I'm happy to see you're okay," Said Sabre.
"Thanks," Discord responded.
"Right, we have to kick-start the loop back up, right? So, what do we need to do?" Sabre asked, mainly directed to Time Steve and Derpy.
"Well... I uh- I have to send you back," Time Steve stuttered, but eventually replies clearly.
"Time, we no longer have any of the tools with that essence, and I seen you use your abilities to that extent. You opening a portal that far back-"
"Ah hem..." Derpy interrupted Sabre.
"I still have thes magic. Maybe I can... but I don't know how though..."
"I can cast a spell to send somepony back in time, but I don't know if I can send Sabre back... however far back 'the beginning' is," Twilight stated.
"Time could pause your uh... time state, while you do it?" Elemental Steve suggested.
"That may work Elemental Steve," Twilight replied.
"You also av us Twilight," Said Applejack, everypony walking closer to Twilight.
"Doctor also has to go with Sabre, so he can bwing Sabre back. Twilight, you only need to open the portal back in time... to the beginning, the beginning of these steves," Derpy pointed out. Everyone apart from Sabre, Hypno Steve and Doctor Hooves gather around each other. Lightning strikes on both Time Steve and Elemental Steve. Once the lightning died down, their eyes began to glow yellow. With Elemental Steve's eyes already being yellow, the glow in his eyes are more light blue.
"Well Doctor, you know what to do?"
"Yes of course, time is my strong suit," Doctor Whooves replied. Sabre and Doctor Whooves sees everyone coursing their energy over to Twilight. The rest of the mane 6, the CMC, Starlight, Spike, Derpy, Dinky and Discord transfer over their energy to Twilight in the form of beams that are the colour of their body. Meanwhile, Dark Steve, Time Steve, Light Steve, Elemental Steve, Therapist Green Steve, Origin Steve and the First Curse transfer their energy to Twilight in the form of lightning strikes. After they done so, Twilight grunts, and began crouching, already feeling the weight of the sheer amount of power and magic coursing throughout her, but she knew what she has to do, and ignores the strain of the power that is on her. Twilight's eyes began to shine white, while her horn began to glow purple, a brighter shade of purple though. She shoots a beam of magic, just behind Sabre and Doctor Whooves. She manages to open a portal, all the way back, to a time before Origin Steve existed, a circle in the ground, dark green and black swirls, with small white sparks coming out.
"Wait, if this God Steve guy created you Origin, why can't he do this?" Sabre asked.
"I don't have that answer Sabre. I've only experienced this timeline. But apparently, when there was just the original timeline, it is said that he created me- It doesn't matter, but what matters is there's something you'd need. It might not make a lot of sense right now, but in time, it'll all make sense," Said Origin Steve, walking over to Sabre. He drops a small white star-like item that has light blue edges and his white in the middle, with the very centre of the item having a white dot.
"The Origin?-"
"Sabre, Doctor- Reality is bugging out- We need to do this fast," Time Steve interrupted Sabre.
"I... I- Grrgh- C- Can't hold this for l- L... long- Hurry!" Twilight groaned, her legs trembling, struggling to keep the portal open.
"Whickering stallions! We need to go now!" Doctor Whooves exclaimed.
"Alright Doctor, on three, two, one, go!" Sabre runs into the portal, followed by Doctor Whooves. Just before Twilight closes the portal, Hypno Steve goes through the portal as well. He gets through so quick no one notices other than Origin Steve, the First Curse and Discord.
Sabre and Doctor Whooves are in a massive meadow of flowers, with trees in the distance all around.
"A time before steves," Sabre said to himself.
"Apparently so," Doctor Whooves responded, hearing Sabre.
"Doctor, I need you to go to the side for a second okay," Sabre instructed. Doctor Whooves walks back by about 20 blocks, giving Sabre enough space. Meanwhile, Hypno Steve is just watching in the distance, going unnoticed.
"I need to do what I was sent here for, continue the loop, start it again." Sabre looks at The Origin in his hand, and starts summoning lightning with it. After stopping the lightning, a glowing figure appears. This figure has brown hair, light blue eyes, their skin being a pale colour. They are wearing a shirt that is almost the same exact colour as their eyes. Their trousers are a darker shade of blue, and their shoes are a much darker variant of blue mixed with a bit of grey. The figure looks around himself, confused, stuttering.
"Uh- Wh- Who... who am I?" The figure looks at Sabre, the only other one that is around him.
"You're a steve... Origin Steve," Sabre replied.
"A... and wh- Who... are you?"
"My name is Sabre." He then drops The Origin down to the floor, which the figure picks up.
"W... what's this?"
"The Origin, you'll need it. It may not make sense right now, but it will all make sense eventually. I will see you later... the long way around," Sabre said as he walks off, over to Doctor Whooves.
"Alright, how we're getting back to everyone?" Sabre asked.
"Wait here," Doctor Whooves replied. A few seconds later, weird repetitive noises occur with a pattern to it. Vworp! Vworp vworp vworp vworp! After the noises stopped, a tall blue box appears, with a sign at the top that says 'Police Public Call Box' on it. Below that sign are 2 doors with a handle. The top half of the 2 doors also have windows, but are opaque, meaning you can't see the inside. Doctor Whooves went to open the doors. Inside, the floor is made of metal frames, with a control panel of sorts in the centre.
"Why is the inside... bigger than the outside, may I ask?" Sabre questioned, curious about this device.
"This is the TARDIS Sabre," Doctor Whooves replied. They walk into the TARDIS, Doctor Whooves closing the doors once both are inside.
"This TARDIS... it reminds me of the Time Dimension, in a way," Said Sabre.
"Ah yes, Time Steve briefly spoke about that," Doctor Whooves responded.
"I think you and Time will get along very well. Both of you know about the physics of time and whatnot," Sabre stated. Doctor Whooves nodded.
"Apparently so indeed, and I'm looking forward on what we'll work on with together. But what matters now, is that you're going to be free from this loop."
