Jason had been sat on the bottom step outside his apartment for about 15 minutes when a car pulled up. Mandy had text him straight back to say she'd be with him ASAP but he still wasn't sure where she'd been at 11pm at night.

"The great Master Chief Hayes, door-kicker extraudinare, locked out of his own home" Mandy giggled

Jason laughed "The always in-control Mandy Ellis…. hammered?"

Mandy giggled again "Not hammered, tipsy maybe. Blame Davis"

"Ahhh now it makes sense. Davis is lethal. Shot with every drink right?"

He stepped forward to meet her and pulled her towards him with the ties of her trench coat. "Maybe I want to be taken advantage of" replied Mandy as Jason's hands roamed down her body

"I really really like you this dress" he says as his hand is slowly pulling the hem of her dress up one thigh "But I want you out of it… and I don't think we want the neighbours watching"

Jason quickly picks up the takeout bags and moves Mandy in front of him pointing her up the stairs, enjoying the view from behind.

"Didn't you miss me?" Jason looks up and grins at Mandy as he crouches down to give Cerberus lots of attention throwing his favourite toy across the room and praising him when he brings it back.

"Of course…" she replies "… but how about I dish this out and we try not to let this one go cold this time?" Mandy gets out some plates and puts the food on the table, and puts some food in Cerberus's bowl.

"I suppose I can restrain myself, I'm actually ravenous"

Jason sat down opposite Mandy and tucked into his food. "Wow you weren't kidding about being hungry!" Mandy laughs

"So you and Davis had a girls night then?" Jason asks between bites

"And Naima" Mandy adds

"Well that's great!" Jason looked surprised. Mandy hasn't always been the best at opening up with people, outside of Davis she didn't have many female friends, or friends at all outside the team from what he understood.

Mandy read his surprised look "Naima asked and I thought it might be a nice distraction from you being away. It was really fun actually"

"Do I even want to know what you three talked about?" Jason joked

"You really really don't" Mandy said "plus apparently there's a Bravo girl code… couldn't tell you even if I wanted to. It's like the CIA but more secret" Mandy laughed and winked at him

Jason didn't take long to finish his food and Mandy stood to clear both their plates. She looked over to Cerb who was sat by the table.

"Right Cerb, you know what we agreed" she gave the dog a scratch behind the ear pointed to his dog bed over the other side of the apartment. Cerb picked up his chew toy and happily ran to his bed and curled up.

"And what exactly did you and Cerberus agree on while I was away" Jason asked as Mandy walked towards where he was sat and pushed the table back slightly so she was stood in front of him while he sat in his chair. She perched herself slightly on the table and ran her hands through his hair.

"We have an agreement that I can't do things like this with him watching us" Mandy giggled

"Things like…." Jason started.
