Hello everybody! After a stupidly long break, speedchamp1 is BAAAAAACK! This period was a little bit longer than I would have liked, and the reason isn't all that good. Um, how do I say this?
A few weeks ago, one of my mates, Mitchell, rolled a buggy on his private property and obtained serious head and chest injuries, and he died in hospital last weekend. Yes, you read that right. DIED. So, this story is definitely a lot harder to write now with him gone. This one is for you Mitch.
Alex was making his way back down to the main area at the lookout. He was fully aware that his time with his friends was almost up, and he wanted to make the most of it. He wanted nothing more for his friends to have their lost ones back, and they were coming back tomorrow night.
What am I going to do with my remaining time? Alex thought to himself. It has to be something with my friends, or it isn't worth it…
He then thought of taking them skydiving.
Ooh, skydiving! I really wanted to do that! Alex thought.
He decided to firm his decision. Now all that was left was to book and get his friends on board. After he had booked with the skydiving company, he walked over to where his friends were. They were all playing pup pup boogie. "Hey guys, can I ask you something?" Alex asked the group.
"Suwe, what is it Awex?" Zuma responded.
"Do you all want to go skydiving?" Alex asked. He wouldn't be surprised if anyone other than Skye and Ella said no.
"Sure!" said everyone in unison. They had a firm knowledge that Alex would be leaving them tomorrow night, so anything that he wanted to do with him, they were going to do.
When they arrived at the skydiving place, they were shown how to undo the parachute, and how to land. Then they were taken onto the plane and whizzed 15,000 feet into the air.
"Woah, this is so cool!" screamed Ella. She had never been so high in the air before. "I love it!"
"Okay everyone this is your captain speaking, we will be jumping soon." a voice came over the headphones the pups were wearing. Most of the pups were thrilled to be this far up, however Rocky was terrified they were jumping into water. "B-B-But what if we jump into water?" Rocky stammered.
"No need to worry Rocky," assured Tuck. "We won't jump into water, that would be a safety hazard."
After Tuck finished his sentence, the side door of the plane opened and the pilot instructed everyone one last time how to open the parachutes, then left them to jump.
"All right, who is going first?" Alex asked.
"You and me, together Alex?" Ella asked back. She really wanted to spend time with him before he left her life forever.
"Sure!" Alex said. As Ella and Alex got ready to jump, everyone else decided to jump with them!
"3, 2, 1, JUMP!" Everyone shouted with delight. They were freefalling, and they loved every second of it. They decided to do a spiral shape to open their parachutes, with Ella going first. Ella went to open her parachute, when she realised that when she pulled the cord, no parachute came out.
Well, it took a fair while, and after many days of mourning, I finally give you guys chapter 3. The updates between y two continued stories will become longer, so until the release of my next chapter, speed out.
