When I woke the first thing I noticed was that we were no longer in the city, we were driving down a dirt road in what looked like a forest.

" Where are we?" I asked not taking my eyes away from the window.

" We're on the road to Forks Washington, your new home," Jasper said smiling warmly.

I nodded my head and remained silent. I have no clue where Forks Washington is, I'm assuming it's a small town. Considering the location leading up to said town, I'm going to assume it's fairly small and a somewhat secluded area.

After a little while longer of driving we came across an actual road, which after driving about a mile on it, I saw a sign come into view that said.

' The City Of Forks Welcomes You! Population 3,I20'

I guess that's three thousand, one hundred and twenty-one now.

Turning a few more corners the town finally came into view, as we drove through town I could see buildings and shops lining the streets as people with happy smiles on their faces walked by, doing their daily routine.

I notice that we weren't stopping or turning anywhere, we just kept going straight until we eventually drove through town out the other side, and were once more driving through the dense forest.

" Why did you drive past town?"

" Because our home is a little way's into the woods, away from townsfolk, you'll understand soon enough." He said sparing me a quick glance before watching the road again.

We drove a while longer turning corner after corner until soon we came to a small clearing allowing me to see a very big and beautiful house. It had very wide clear glass windows that let you see a bit of the interior. I could see a few shelves with various objects on them, but I couldn't see anybody walking around.

Once we drove down the gravelly road, we entered a big garage pulling up closest to the wall, there were no other vehicles in sight.

" Looks like everyone is out. " Jasper said as he hopped out of the car.

I stepped out as well and started following Jasper who was already standing by a door that I'm assuming leads into the house. Once we actually got into the house I immediately started looking around, turning my head side to side trying to take in every detail.

The house had a big kitchen that connected to the living room, in the center of the living room was a wrap-around couch with a flat-screen TV against the wall in front of it.

Jasper turned to me and held out his hand towards me, waiting for me to grasp it. I slowly took his hand, and he began to lead me to the staircase that led upstairs. As we ascended the stairs I saw lining the wall was doors close to one another, Jasper led me down the hall but stopped at the second one from the last.

" This can be your room. " Jasper said as he pushed the door open.

I'm not gonna lie, I felt a spark of surprise when I looked around the room. Not only was it huge, it was far nicer than any room I've ever stayed in, but times ten. In the far corner beside the window was a queen-sized bed that had a dark red duvet with matching pillows. On the other side of the room was a door that I assume leads to the bathroom, next to that was a closet I could comfortably fit into.

When I walked further into the room I looked down at my feet when I felt my foot touch something soft, I saw a deep ocean-colored carpet that I now just realized covered half of the hardwood floor.

The walls were burnt orange, and the ceiling looked like a chessboard with black and white square patterns. I looked back at Jasper who was smiling at me, that smile gave me the tiniest bit of warmth in my chest and I haven't a clue why.

" Are you hungry?" Jasper asked.

Right after he asked my stomach emitted a low growl that answered for me, Jasper chuckled as he walked forwards then hoisted me up onto his hip. Though paused and frowned as he looked at me.

" You're gonna take a shower while I go cook okay? " Jasper said, setting me down.

I nodded yes before thinking, I have nothing else to wear but this shirt, does he expect me to put this back on once I finish showering?

" I have nothing else to wear."

When I said that Jasper tilted his head before exiting the room. Though he came back shortly with a large button-up silk green shirt, and a pair of blue boxer shorts that would probably fall down past my knees.

" Sorry these are the smallest clothes I have, I'll have to have Alice take you shopping later. " Jasper said though he kinda mumbled the last part.

I'm going to assume this Alice is either a friend, sister, or girlfriend.

I take the clothes from Jasper's grasp and headed towards the bathroom, right when I was about to close the door, I heard Jasper call out.

"There should already be a towel hanging up, you can use that one. I'll be in the kitchen if you need me."

I said a quick thank you before shutting the door then practically ran and jumped into the shower stripping my shirt off as I went along, I turned the hot and cold water on making fresh clean water shoot out from the showerhead.

I tilted my head back and sighed as the lukewarm water cascaded down my muddied dirty skin, leaving a somewhat clean trail as it poured down. I grabbed the shampoo and began ridding myself of the grease and grime that has been sitting in my hair for far too long.

I had to carefully comb my fingers through my hair to work out the knots that have built up over time. After washing my hair twice I grabbed a little rag and poured some body wash on it after wetting it, then began to clean all the dirt and oils that were staining my skin. I washed my body twice as well before deeming myself finally clean.

I stepped out of the shower grabbing the big white fluffy towel that was hanging up and proceeded to dry myself off before putting on the clothes that I was given.

When I was fully dressed I walked up to the mirror above the sink that had fogged over, It's been so long since I've seen myself that I've almost forgotten what I looked like. I raised my hand and placed it on the mirror, then began rubbing away the fog, but I stopped when I finally saw my face.

My face was no longer caked in mud or dirt, for the first time, I was looking at my clean face. I almost couldn't believe that it was me looking back, my once filthy skin darkened by dirt, and muck, was now pale ivory.

My hair that was once like a rat's nest and was greasy to the touch, was now a clean fiery auburn, that shined bright crimson in the light.

It was like I was looking at a completely different person from before, one thing that remained the same, however, was the dull shade of emerald in my gaze. Shaking my head I decided it was time to go downstairs to the kitchen where Jasper said he'd be.

I make my way out of the room and down the hall where my nose was suddenly hit by a delicious aroma of food, making my stomach ache. I walked into the kitchen and saw Jasper with his back to me wearing an apron standing at the stove. He turned his head towards me smiling.

" You can sit down, your food is almost done. " He said as he turned his head back to the stove.

I took a seat at the counter and started to drum my fingers against my knees in anticipation as the smell only grew stronger making my mouth water. Finally, Jasper sat a plate in front of me and grabbed the medium-sized skillet from which the smell was coming, and brought it over before dropping its contents onto the plate.

It was well seasoned scrambled eggs, I picked up the fork that was placed next to the plate and dug in, I'm not ashamed of the moan I released as I took a bite of the superb food. Hey, it may only be eggs but it was the first actual meal I've had in a long time.

I looked up when I heard a chuckle and saw Jasper watching me with a hand over his mouth as he tried but failed to keep himself from laughing. I just tilted my head and innocently asked.

" What?"

Jasper shook his head chuckling some more before heading towards the fridge and pulled out a bottle of orange juice, after pouring a tall glass of it and putting the bottle back into the fridge he brought the glass over and set it next to my almost empty plate, before walking around the counter and sitting down next to me.

I continued to stuff my face, occasionally stopping to breathe until every last bit of egg was consumed. I grabbed the cup of juice and started to guzzle it down, enjoying the cool trail it left in its wake, I released a sigh as I finished chugging and was gonna thank Jasper for the meal when I suddenly released a yawn.

I then felt myself being lifted up, when I opened my eyes I saw that Jasper was carrying me up the stairs no doubt to my new room.

" I can walk you know," I said drowsiness lased in every word.

Jasper chuckled again.

" I know, but I want to carry you," he said.

Jasper took me into the room and laid me in bed before pulling the covers over me.

" Goodnight," Jasper whispered.

" Goodnight, thank you for the food," I muttered shutting my eyes.

I felt a cold hand pet my hair back out of my face, lulling me to sleep.
