After I tested out the fire powers by lighting the torches in Fenrir's shrine, I smirked at how I was able to use fire powers exactly like Roy Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist... the only issue? Just like in the game, I spun like a loon every time I did the technique.
"Okay, that spinning disease or whatever is really, REALLY getting under my skin," I frowned in annoyance.
"On the plus side, you're getting pretty tough. Sure, you didn't directly defeat Mulcimer, but you did have quite the skill in commanding those terrifying dragons," Coco smirked at me. We then warped back to Parum using the Warp Stone in New Ignitia, where we then walked up all of the stairs and, when we went into the guild, we saw that the Guildmasters and Amelie were all together and looking at me with smirks. Even Xander, who was probably the toughest son of a bitch in the entire game when it came to pure strength.
"We got the message from Lydia as well as the residents of New Ignitia. You saved the entire city single-handedly and effortlessly commanded 6 different Greater Drakes at the same time. You have earned your promotion from Bronze rank to Silver rank," Amelie smile as she handed me the upgraded license as I handed her my bronze one. I then automatically did the spinning thing, which made me groan, but Xander simply smirked at me.
"Heh, you got guts, kid. Being able to take on two Tyrants in one day is impressive. With any luck, you might be as tough as I am," Xander smirked at me.
"Maybe someday... by the way, Guildmaster Lydia wants me to join her at the Drake Isles. May we be allowed to do so, miss Amelie?" I asked, me smirking at how I was able to say the whole thing in English, which made Saria look at me in surprise.
"Huh... you learned English, huh? Where from?" she asked.
"Eliza. She's quite the strong witch," I smirked.
"Ah, yes, the one that helped me control my brain powers to an extent," Saria smirked before then going back onto her cell phone.
"I'll allow you to go to the Drake Isles. After all, Dragons are quite strong, so getting some Lesser Drakes on your team will give you a lot of advantages in the coming future," Amelie smirked at me, me giving a thumbs-up as Coco and I then left, but he then looked at me with a smile.
"This is going to be so cool! We're gonna be able to go to the Drake Isles! I'm so pumped!" Coco smirked widely.
"Really? Because, last I checked, you were terrified of dragons like Graloon. And I saw you sweating a lot when the other dragons came to help beat Mulcimer," I smirked.
"H-Hey! It wasn't the dragons that made me sweat! I-It was uh... the heat! Yeah, that," he said, me smirking and petting his head at that.
"Don't worry, Coco. I'm just messin' with ya," I smirked.
"You better be," he frowned. We then went to the east and towards the airship house, where we then bought our ticket from the vendor for 100 gold coins.
"Thank you for buying your forever ticket with us," the vendor smiled at us.
"Wait, so you sell tickets that never expire and can be used infinitely?... That's a poor business model," Coco frowned.
"Please refrain from logic while boarding the airship and thank you for choosing our service," the vendor said, almost admitting that she knew how poor a choice it was.
"Let's just get going, Coco," I smiled as the two of us then went to the east to find none other than Leo getting attacked by the guards.
"This is the third time you've been caught at that building! Amelie would like a word with you!" the one guard said in annoyance. As for what came out of Leo's mouth?
"NO! I need to find out what's going on! LET ME GO!" he shouted... in Nexomon tongue! He then pounded them away with a powerful blast of stone that emanated from his hands before he went onto the airship in the confusion.
"Dammit, he got away!" the guard frowned as I spoke.
"What's so wrong about going to a building?" I asked, the guard frowning at me.
"It's a base of operations that only the higher-ups of the Guild are allowed to enter. It's filled with very expensive technology. Can we ask you, Sunny, to go after him and detain him?" the guard asked, me sighing at that.
"So long as he's not going to get in any trouble. He's a curious kid that can't even talk English. I can understand him, you can't. Just let me talk to him so I can find out what he wants," I said, the guards needing Coco to translate for me since I spoke a very long bit of sentences, meaning I had to resort to Nexomon tongue.
"Very well, we'll trust you judgement," the guards said as I then boarded the airship mere moments before it started to take off from the building. I then searched around with Coco, him using his sniffer to find the Nexomon scent that Leo had on him. We eventually found him in the storage hold, where I saw that, unlike the games, he looked like he was extremely destitute. He was so skinny, you could see his ribs. He was covered in filth all over, and he looked to be very scared of me when he saw that I was a Silver Rank tamer.
"D-Don't come any closer!" he said in fear as he forced his hands to gain rocks to them as I simply spoke to him in his own talk.
"I'm not a threat to a fellow halfbreed," I said, him then gasping at that. "I can tell just by looking at you that you don't deserve to be arrested. You've already had it rough enough," I said, him then sighing at me. "Tell me, why are those guards so insistent on trying to keep you away from this mysterious building?" I asked, him frowning at me.
"The dragons have been acting up lately, which is something they never did before. I feel their pain, because I'm the offspring of a lesser drake and a human, making me a bastard child to the others in the Drake Isles... and they've been targeting that building for the past 2 months. I need to get in there and find out why they're acting up!" he said, Coco frowning at that.
"Something isn't adding up here... if the guild is trying to stop someone from going into a building that has dragons attacking it, you'd think they'd tell people to stay away from it instead of arresting people who are seen near it," Coco frowned.
"Looks like we'll have a question to ask Lydia, then. If anyone can be trusted, it'd be her," I said, Coco looking at me with a frown as Leo looked scared.
"No, not her! S-She's a guildmaster! She'd turn me in immediately!" he said, me shaking my head at him.
"If she would do that, I'd prevent her from so much as laying a finger on you. I'm only going to say this to you, since you can't really talk English. I'm the offspring of a royal Tyrant from Omnicron's bloodline, Nara, the Tyrant of Life. I'll do whatever it takes to make sure that those who are guilty are brought to justice while defending the innocent. And you are an innocent," I said, him gawking at what I said but then sniffing me all over and then frowning at me.
"I smell Tyrant scent on you... I believe you, then... about being a Tyrant. But about the Omnicron stuff? You'd need to prove that," he said, me smirking at that.
"Of course... but before that, here, have some of this. You look like you're starving," I said as I gave him a strawberry cake slice, him then gawking at it and then eating it all at once, to the point where his stomach distended.
"T-Thank you, miss... I've never been given food before," he sighed at me. Coco then simply smirked at me.
"You keep on making me happy with you, Sunny... um... yeah," he smiled as I saw some blush on him, me smirking as I sensed it with my psychic powers. Love. He was feeling an attraction to me.
"Don't worry, Coco. I'm sure we could work it out," I smiled, him then gasping and blushing before then frowning.
"You cheated with your psychic powers, huh?" he asked in embarrassment.
"Yes, I did. But just so you know, I am into furries... and before you ask, it's a term in my world for human-like animals," I smirked as he raised his paw.
"Huh... but what about the age gap?" Coco asked.
"Another question to ask. Do you age in human years, or cat years?" I asked, him smirking at that.
"Human," he smirked smugly.
"And your age as of current?"
"13."
"We can just stick to being a snuggle couple at first before you turn 16, as that's the age of consent in my area of living," I smiled.
"Really? Not 18?" Leo asked.
"Hush, mister. It's uh... complicated," I said, him frowning at me. "Okay, look, a different Tyrant called Ziegler sent me from one dimension to this one, forcing me into the body that you see now, with the original spirit being sent out in the process. Her name was Dorothy, my name is Sunny, but everyone I come across thinks that I'm who Dorothy was, just calling me Sunny. The only ones who can see through it so far are Ziegler himself, Eliza from the Immortal Citadel, our mentor at the orphanage, and Fenrir, one of Omnicron's kids," I said, him smirking at me.
"Yeah, that is complicated... no offense, but I don't know if I can believe that," he said to me.
"We're believing your tale. It's only fair that you believe ours... or, at the very least, one of them," I smiled.
"Good point... I'll believe the one about you being Omnicron's heiress, then, only because you're being so nice to me... no one's ever been this kind to me," he smirked. "My name's Leo, by the way."
"I'm Sunny and this is Coco, nice to meet you formally," I smiled at him... and it was then that the announcement came over the airwaves.
"Attention all passengers, we have now arrived at the Drake Isles. We thank you for choosing our service, the only service," the PA announcer said, me smirking at that.
"Again with being sarcastic and pointing out the problem," Coco smirked. We then proceeded out of the airship with the others and seeing that the place looked just as beautiful in person as it was in the games. Just looking over the edge, everything looked like ants!
"We're kinda high up... a little too high for my tastes," Coco said as he then proceeded to latch onto my leg with his arms and legs.
"Easy, Coco. I'll keep you safe," I smiled at him as our trio then proceeded to the east, while also finding some Nexomon and a few Dragons to catch. Of the Nexomon, I caught Hyphoon, Glidlee, and Heliwurm. And of the dragons, I caught Drare, Cryzzard, and Volt. But my group, after having defeated both Fona and Mulcimer, were now roughly level 28 for each of them, meaning they tougher than any of the Nexomon we were finding. I sent each of the Nexomon back to the boxes after catching them, us finally finding Lydia at the square plot of land with four different bridges.
"I see you came, as you said. Now, may you please use your power to freeze time?" she asked, me nodding at that. I then froze time for all four of us, which Lydia then proceeded to ask her questions. "First question, who is your mother?" she asked, me frowning at that.
"I'll only tell you if you promise not to turn me in. Because it's something that's absolutely secret and could end my life," I said, her nodding.
"I promise," she said.
"I'm the daughter of Nara, the Tyrant of Life," I said, her then gasping at that.
"W-What?! H-How?! Weren't all of Omnicron's children killed off?!" she asked, me shaking my head no.
"No, they weren't. One of them survived, that being Nara, the one who teamed up with the humans to defeat Omnicron and the rest of her siblings. As for her human form... she's actually a Nexomon Tamer at the guild as we speak," I said, her gawking at that.
"She's a good Tyrant, right?"
"Pure of heart and very kind... she only birthed me because only one of Omnicron's bloodline can be a proper king or queen of the Nexomon. And I promise you, when I gain my birthright, I will rule kindly and justly, being kind to both humans and Nexomon," I smiled. "But uh, sorry, we only have 10 seconds left," I said, only then realizing that I'd learned how to talk more English for some bizarre reason.
"Hmm... this is very strange... but if what you say is true... hmm..." she frowned as I then decided to ask a question.
"By the way, we also have a question to ask you, Lydia," I said, her looking at me with a nod. "Leo here keeps getting arrested by the guards because he keeps trying to get inside of an abandoned building, one that the dragons won't stop attacking lately. We want to know why that place is so secretive to the point where they'd arrest someone as poor and sickly as Leo," I said, her nodding at me.
"I should've known... wait..." she said as she pricked up her ears and looked around. "We are not alone," Lydia said... and it was then that we had the loons appear.
"HAHAHA! Fona, Lord of Flames!" said the red ranger.
"Ventra, Lady of the Tempest!" green ranger spoke.
"Arqua, Queen of the Seas!" said the blue one.
"Luxa, the Tzar of Lightning!" said the purple guy. (Fnaf reference!)
"Grunda, the King of the Earth!" the one in the orange smirked. They then all jumped into the center of the place, blocking our path in the process.
"We are the warriors of Omnicron's kin! YEAH!" they shouted like complete goobers. Leo proceeded to laugh his ass off as I simply gave them a sarcastic clap.
"Wow, that was just awful," I smirked at them.
"HEY! We took nearly a whole month of practice to get that perfect!" Fona's Warrior shouted at me.
"Who are these jackasses?" Coco asked.
"Followers of a cult that worships Omnicron. They're extremely dangerous and annoying," Lydia frowned.
"Oh, really? We're the dangerous ones? What about the one behind you? We'd love to get that Tyrant Egg off of you, Sunny D!" shouted the warrior of Luxa, me frowning as Lydia looked shocked.
"You do realize it was made of glass, right? It's a complete fake. And I don't even have it on me," I said, that making the five loons look at me in confusion.
"Wait... you're serious?! Were we duped?!" asked Arqua's warrior.
"More to the point, YOU TALK?!" Grunda's warrior asked in shock.
"Yes, I learned from my parent recently... now, I do believe we'll be seeing you out? I'm not a threat to you," I smirked. They then tried to attack me, but I simply forced them to the ground with my psychic powers, them gasping at how I was forcing them to go to the ground. "Here, I'll help you back to ground level... I'll see you in a bit, I'm sure," I smirked as I then sent their bodies off the edge and proceeded to have them float down to the ground, me using my psychic powers passively to do so while Lydia looked at me in surprise.
"So... you were truthful? I don't believe I've met a single Psychic halfbreed have that amount of psychic power," Lydia gawked at me.
"You have no idea," Coco smirked for me.
"And about that Tyrant Egg... what did they mean when they said you had one, but you saying it was fake?" It was time to talk in Nexomon tongue.
"What I mean by that is that my mother originally wanted me to take a fake Tyrant Egg to journey to the different shrines of Omnicron's children to gain my birthright. But I kind of learned my powers previously because of my mentor at the orphanage, who knew of my identity in secrecy. So I left without it, getting some extra powers from Eliza in the form of Normal, Psychic, and Ghost. Psychic gives me all the powers of a Psychic type, including reading minds and thoughts, sensing emotions, sharing memories, and, my favorite, telekinesis," I smirked in Nexomon yips and barks, which she smiled at me after.
"I see... then maybe I should ask you a question," Lydia smiled as she handed me a key... and I did the stupid spinning thing, but she didn't get annoyed by it. "That's the key that leads to the shrine of Ventra, which is in the Drake Isles. If you can gain her powers of air, then I'll have a challenge awaiting you. You'll need to face my Tyrant, Eurus, with only your own Tyrant, Byeol, to be in the fray. If you want to prove that he's a good Tyrant, you'll need to prove it to me by beating me fairly and with Byeol not being ruthless like most other Tyrants. If you can succeed, I'll allow you, Coco, and Leo to find out the truth," she said... again, in Nexomon talk. And by this point, I'd gotten the five safely to the ground, in the frigid temperatures of the tundra. They needed to be there anyways, but I did give them a message from afar.
"Don't do anything bad. Because if you do, I will not hesitate to beat you up again," I thought to them.
"Alright, then I'd say it's time to-" I was about to say... before we heard a loud roar from the east, which was because of a giant dragon of flame flying right for us at incredible velocity!
"Crap! He's coming right for us! What do we do?!" Coco asked in fear as I simply stood out in the middle and Lydia looked at me in shock.
"What's wrong with you?! Get out of the way!" Lydia shouted as I simply stood in place and waited. The dragon was very close... but then, just before he could snap his teeth at me, I sent forth the most powerful attack of my own firepower, that being Solar Flare! And when I did so, the dragon halted in place from the flames actually pushing him back, him then flying in place after the powerful attack as he growled lowly at me.
"Rgh... you are impressive, Tyrant scum!" he growled at me as I simply smiled.
"Not just Tyrant scum. ROYALTY!" I shouted in Nexomon tongue, him growling at me... but then, almost as if by magic, he then simply landed and sniffed me... and shortly after? He bowed his long head at me!
"I can smell it... I still hate you, though," he growled at me.
"Hate the game, not the Nexomon Princess," I smiled as I then handed him something I'd obtained from the storage compartment on the flight over in the form of a Perfect Berry, him then cooing at the taste of it and for Lydia to gawk at me.
"I... am... completely speechless..." she gawked.
"Really? Because you just spoke," Coco said, me smirking at him.
"Coco, come here," I smirked, him then coming over and, when he was in range, I pulled on his ear in retaliation.
"ACK! HEY! CUT IT OUT!" he shouted at me before I then ended it.
"Time and place, and now is not the time," I smirked at him.
"Ooogh... fine," he frowned.
"I don't understand," said the dragon, me knowing its name was Dracon.
"That's quite alright. He and I are now a couple," I smirked. Dracon then finally flew off into the distance and I looked at Lydia and Leo with a smile.
"We're gonna go and have a visit with my aunt, now. We'll meet back up soon," I smiled, Lydia following us until we had reached the village. And when we did, I then went to the PC box to add Marasume back to the team... only to discover something shocking. "Oh my gosh... everyone in my team have been leveling up in the box, too?" I gawked.
"Hehe, must be because of you," Coco smirked at me.
"I think you're right... I'm gonna go ahead and add Marasume to the team, meaning I've got to say bye to Fortoise," I said as I then switched the duo. Once we did this and I healed up my team, we then proceeded due east. I had an appointment to make with Dorothy's auntie Nadine... I just had to hope she was nicer to me than Fenrir was.
