"So, just out of curiosity, why did you stand your ground and attack that dragon with no fear?" Coco asked me.
"I was scared, to be honest. If the dragon wouldn't have stopped, then I'd have been nothing but meat in his teeth. But I wanted to try and make my strength known to Lydia, since I felt like I could attack the dragon with its own element," I admitted to Coco.
"Well, it worked, and now that dragon doesn't want to kill you... but why do the dragons keep calling you scum? Because that's the only word I can decipher from them.
"Because they're programmed to hunt Tyrants and kill them. Lydia could tell you more than I would," I frowned as we finally came upon the shrine of Ventra, where I then inserted the key and turned it. The door then opened and we went inside, Coco gasping for air when we went inside.
"Oh god... it's impossible to breathe in here... hagh..." Coco puffed as I went forward, feeling unaffected.
"Hey! Nadine! I know you're in here!" I shouted. And when I did, she appeared in front of me, looking at me in anger.
"How do you know of my name? And why did you interrupt my beauty sleep?" she asked, me frowning at her.
"How can a ghost sleep?" I asked.
"Not really a ghost, just the powers of being a child of Omnicron. Our powers live on, but only as a visage," she said with a frown.
"Have you been told anything by Nara? Or even Fenrir?" I asked, her nodding at me.
"Nara came around about half an hour ago, saying you knew of everything and you aren't the same as Dorothy. You're also from the real world, right?" she asked, me nodding at that. "Normally I'd be one to not agree with you, but I've had to punch Ziegler in the face numerous times to prevent him from taking my soul from this shrine. I know he can have powers over other dimensions," she said. "So long as you promise me that you will find a way to capture Ziegler, I will give you my powers," she said, me smirking at that.
"I will, since I need to catch him regardless. He's my only ticket home," I said.
"Here, take it," Ventra said as she forced a slew of air from her body and sent it right down my throat! I gasped at the sudden intake of air, but eventually, I gawked at how I managed to float in the air by controlling the air underneath me, almost like Aang from the Last Airbender. "With the powers of the wind, you can fly in the air, clear massive holes with a blast of air under your feet, run like the wind, and use the air to attack your foes. Use them wisely, got it?" she said, me nodding at that.
"Thanks Nadine," I smiled at her.
"Only my family members may call me Nadine. And you are not a family member. Call me Ventra or else," she said, me nodding.
"Apologies, Ventra," I sighed.
"And be careful what you say with that mouth, got it? You never know when an enemy is listening in."
"Got it," I frowned. I knew exactly what she meant, even if Coco didn't. Vados, the one adversary that could very easily kill me if he so chose. We then left the place, where Coco finally was able to breathe normally, me patting him on the back and him sighing.
"Thanks, but... that's... not helping... hah..." he panted.
"From now on, when going into those places, you stay outside," I said, him smiling at me.
"Thanks," he smiled as we then went back to town, where we saw that Leo was waiting by Lydia, both of them looking at me with a smile. Why? Because I was still floating in the air.
"Hehe, you're a natural," Lydia smiled at me.
"I'm sure you do the same thing for fun," I smiled at her.
"It's rare that I get recreational time, but yes, I love doing that," Lydia smirked. "Now time for the real test," she smirked as we then went forward and we saw the giant bird Tyrant just loafing about, just as bored as he was in the game.
"Hey, Eurus! Wake up! It's time for a fight!" Lydia shouted, that getting the giant bird to stir as he then got off of his ass and stood up with a loud yawn.
"Aaaaahhhhnnn... what's up, mistress?..." he asked as he rubbed his eyes with his wings.
"It's time for a fight. And your opponent is this Silver Tamer, Sunny," Lydia smirked as Eurus looked at me and simply smirked with his beak.
"I can sense immense power within this young woman. What kind of Nexomon does she have?"
"Incorrect question, Eurus. The correct question is, what kind of Nexomon is she? Because I, as myself, am the opponent!" I smirked at him.
"Then come at me!" he smirked. I smiled at that challenge.
"If you say so," I smiled as I then proceeded to rush at him with incredible speed, punching him in the gut with a fist full of fire and wind! He gasped at the blow as I knocked the wind from his lungs, but he recovered shortly after.
"Impressive hit... now for my power!" Eurus said with seriousness as he proceeded to pelt me with the strong wind attack in Cyclone, me feeling the wind against my face and feeling like I got cut by the wind! I then felt some bits of wetness on my skin, mainly on my arms and face. I had roughly 3 cuts on my arms and 4 more on my face in different areas.
"Damn, that hurt like a bitch. Now for me to answer back!" I smirked as I decided to do something daring. I proceeded to combine the powers of fire and wind together, sending forth a massive twister of flames at Eurus! He proceeded to get sufficiently pummeled by it before then falling down and proceeding to go into snoozeland again.
"Need... more... rest..." he groaned, Lydia smiling as she then used a revive on him, which healed him up halfway.
"Very smart, to combine multiple elements. You have proven your strength in battle and wits. Now, I will lead you there... but I must warn you. What you will see in that building is going to make you realize some true terrors. Your entire view on the guild as a whole will be flipped upside-down and we all may be labeled as outlaws," Lydia said, me frowning at that.
"Why would we be labeled as criminals when you, a Guildmaster, are letting us in?" I asked.
"I may be a Guildmaster, but I'm seen as a renegade because of reasons you'll find out soon enough," she said, me nodding at her.
"We're prepared for whatever awaits us. And in case we get into any issues, I'll just use my psychic powers to do damage control... in fact, I think I'd be okay with simply sharing the knowledge with people all over the place," I said, Lydia smirking at that.
"Maybe you should be called a renegade. You do that, maybe it'll help us out in the end," she smiled as we then went for the building and finally went inside. And when we did, I proceeded to use my memory powers for numerous different important people across the world. They included Videl, Saria, Captain Rico of the hunters of Lateria, the mayor of New Ignitia, Bonnie from Parum, and a few different residents in Palmaya.
Lydia then led us to the first room, where we saw the different statues of the dragons. "Long ago, back whenever Omnicron was killed, we experienced a period of peace... but in due time, more Tyrants came about and started to fight for the right to be the king of monsters. It seemed that we were going to be extinct... but then, Amelie came up with a plan," Lydia said as she then led us to the next room and we saw Eurus on a statue. "In order to defeat the Tyrants, we needed to make something to defeat them... so, Amelie experimented for years, before finally making the secret weapon, the Greater and Lesser Drakes," Lydia said, which made Leo gawk.
"N-No way... the dragons are nothing more than science experiments?!" he asked in anger.
'Yes, but even the dragons needed to be programmed to think of at least one Nexomon being the king of monsters... so, with me asking permission, I offered to give that position to Eurus, since he is a very lazy Tyrant. The dragons believed him to be the King of Monsters and it seemed that everything was going well..." she said as she then led us deeper, me feeling emotions from all over the world from the different people I was sharing this information with.
"Oh god... w-what have I been doing?..." asked Bonnie, me feeling her ask that in her mind from miles away.
"Peh! I should've known! Those idiots at the guild have been taking our jobs from the start!" shouted Rico in his mind.
"I knew it! I knew those dragons were nothing but trouble! But nobody believes a miner!" I heard Videl say in annoyance in her thoughts. And similar thoughts came from the others that I'd gave the messages as we reached the final room, that being the one where Vados WAS held in.
"Roughly 18 years ago, the dragons suddenly went berserk. Nobody knew why, not even Amelie. But because they went completely insane for nearly a week, completely destroying at least one city in thier rampage, Amelie decided that we needed a new superweapon. To make her own Tyrant," Lydia said, which I could tell shocked the whole group of people I was sharing memories with as well as the group I was with.
"WHAT?!" shouted the voices of all the important people I sent memories to.
"This is insane! Why would Amelie do this?! She's going to end up killing all of us!" Leo shouted in his Nexomon tongue, which I translated to English... and then, the alarms started to blare.
"Dammit, the alarms went off... Amelie knows we're here... we need to leave, now!" Lydia said with seriousness as our group then rushed through the complex to the entrance, only to see that the room to the north was wide open. And Lydia looked downt the path with anger. "I'm going to make you pay, Amelie!" she shouted as she rushed forward with insane speed, me looking at the others and them nodding at me in silence.
"Let's join in!" I said. We rushed down the hall... just in time to see Lydia get absolutely blasted by a powerful laser that came out of nowhere! And she looked very burned and bruised afterwards!
"LYDIA!" I shouted as I rushed to her side and saw she was still alive, but she was very badly hurt. I then proceeded to spray her with a Super Potion, which she got off the ground, still bruised, but not nearly in as much pain. "How could you do this, Amelie?!" I asked in anger, her frowning at me.
"Whatever she has told you, it is nothing but lies," Amelie frowned at us... little did she know that I was STILL showing the memories. But now? I was sharing my memories with none other than Ross and Nora, who I sensed were in the same room as us.
"She showed us QUITE enough already, though! Dragons being forged through mad science, making them think Eurus is the king of monsters, and now you're making a TYRANT through that same mad science?! What the hell is wrong with you?!" Coco asked in anger, me frowning as I'd finished showing the memories to Ross and Nora. And they simply stayed silent and out of sight.
"Ross, Nora, come here!" Amelie said, the duo then arriving via removing some kind of camouflage technology. "Coco and Sunny have become Renegade criminals. Apprehend them immediately." The duo of them simply walked forward and joined my side, which made her gawk. "You're seriously going to join her?!" she asked in anger, her bitch side FINALLY showing.
"We're not going to hurt our best friend!" Nora shouted in anger.
"Yeah, especially when compared to what you've been doing!" Ross growled.
"Hmph, even if you join up, you still have no evidence that I created Vados," she said, Lydia growling at that.
"I never mentioned that name to anyone!" Lydia said in anger. And that was enough for everyone of my group and everyone I was sharing memories with to be shocked.
"Oh... my god... she's gone completely off the rails!" Videl shouted in thought.
"No Tyrant is going to take our jobs! We already have to compete with those goddamn dragons, we don't need to compete with a robot Tyrant!" Rico shouted.
"All those machines that I helped design... were they just for making a monster?! I-I need to ask Edward if he knew of this! I need to know if he knows of what Amelie has been doing!" Bonnie said in a frantic and worried thought process... as for Amelie.
"AUUUGGGHH! ! !" she shouted in anger as I frowned at her.
"Looks like somebody just fessed up to the whole crime. So, I must ask. If anyone who owns a Tyrant is immediately deemed a criminal, then why do you have to get off scott free?" I asked as I simply held a fireball in my hands.
"You will not interfere! Vados! COME HERE!" Amelie shouted, us then feeling immense power appear out of nowhere as Vados then emerged from a portal from behind her! But before she could do anything else, I stopped time for everyone but me and her. "W-What the fuck?!" she asked in anger as I spoke.
"You might want to rethink your strategy here, Amelie. Attacking a whole slew of innocent people that have done no crimes, and with a Tyrant? You'll be just as much a criminal as Atlanta and Jin. And if you think that I won't spread word of your insanity, you're wrong. Just think logic, or you're going to be in for quite a lot of hurt," I said in English. Why? Because I was talking telepathically. Amelie growled at me as I then ended the stopped time and she then gave the command as I shared this memory to all the ones I had previously.
"SEND THEM FALLING TO THE GROUND!" she shouted, Vados then sending forth a blast of lightning at all of us! And the blast was so strong, the ground below us completely crumbled away and we started to fall down from roughly 4 miles in the air! Everyone else in my group had been completely knocked out... and to be honest, after a blast that huge? I was kinda weakened pretty badly. But I still had the strength to have all of us hover with my brain power, mixed with the wind powers covering us in shields. I then had us arrive safely at ground level in the town of the Frozen Tundra... and wouldn't you know, but Videl was right there at the entrance and looked at us in shock.
"Oh my god! I can't believe you're all alive! I thought for sure that you'd have died after a blast that strong!" she said in concern as I then finally had our group touch down on the ground, which made me feel like shit.
"Help... p-please..." I said with a gasp... and before I knew it, I was then taken into the guild building in the tundra... the moment I felt the warm air on my skin, I fell into a deep sleep.
