Upon arriving back to town, we got to Videl and she was all smiles when she saw us.
"Well, how'd it go?" she asked.
"We got 6 boxes of Taranite and a group of bandits taken care of... and where are the others at?" I asked.
"They spread out to try and find out where Amelie disappeared to. She's apparently gone into hiding, the moment that you got blasted from the sky. Has your psychic powers recovered yet?" she asked, me then trying to sense Amelie... but I found that the furthest my mind could reach was Parum.
"Not yet... my mind's recovered a lot, but I can only sense from here to Parum. And Amelie isn't even there! She must be somewhere else... that means she's either in Palmaya, Lateria, or one other area I managed to sense during my encounter," I said.
"And where's that?" Coco asked.
"A city... underwater," I frowned.
"Wait, what? Didn't Finn say that Amelie sunk that city?... You mean it's still around?" he asked, me nodding at that.
"Yes, that's how crazy she is. Lying about an entire city and pretending that it got sunk, when there are still over 50 people in that place," I said.
"To be honest, I'm not surprised, after seeing that thing happen," Videl frowned at me. "So are we going to keep talking about nothing? Or are we going to head down the road to the bunker?"
"We're walking to the bunker. And on the way, I need to tell you some things... I doubt you'd believe it, though," I frowned as we then walked to the west, not even getting any issues with any Blizzstrongs. Why not? Because the moment I arrived, the Blizzstrong stopped attacking the people and ran off. And once out of earshot from them, I finally was free to speak. "Videl, the thing I need to say is this... I'm not from this timeline," I said, her looking at me with a frown.
"What?" she asked.
"I come from 3000 years in the past... a place where McDonald's was the biggest fastfood chain, where Pokemon was one of the most popular video game franchises, and where a very beloved RPG is considered the oldest surviving one in this timeline," I said with a sigh.
"Really?... Well, can you prove this, by chance?" she asked. I then simply showed her images in my head to her of what my timeline looked like. With the realistic humans, the world filled with tons of people, and animals of all kinds.
"Oh... my god... you're truthful... but then, why are you in this timeline?... And why does your world look much more... um... blander in color?" Videl asked.
"I have no idea how I got here. I don't know if it was because of Ziegler, if it was another force, or what, but I know that I was sent to this timeline and placed in the body of a person called Dorothy, which is confirmed that was caused by Ziegler. But for some reason, everyone in this world calls me Sunny, not Dorothy," I frowned.
"And believe me, it's very weird to know all this, especially since Sunny is much more talkative with every power she gets," Coco frowned.
"And are you going to tell the others? Y'know, Saria, Lydia, Ross and Nora?" Videl asked.
"When I see them next, yes, I plan on it," I smiled. And then, we finally reached our destination, that being the large bunker that was built into the icy wall.
"I'll set up the explosives, then you light the fuse. We'll use this boulder here for cover," Videl smiled as she then set up the boxes of Taranite and then let out the fuse. I then smirked and walked behind the boulder with the others and flicked my wrist to light the fuse from afar.
"This is gonna be loud! Cover your ears!" Videl shouted, us then doing so... and the explosion was massive enough to make my ass jump from the ground and for me to feel it in my chest! All of us had ringing in our ears as we looked at the blast site and smirked at how the hole had been made.
"Sweet! Now to go inside and make the place more hospitable to the locals," Videl smirked as we then went inside and, immediately, Videl gawked at the interior. "Wait, this isn't right..." she frowned as she pulled out the blueprints to the place. "This isn't what the blueprints describe at all! Did it get renovated without our knowledge? And how long ago?" Videl asked in confusion. And as for our answer?
"A nice woman in green hair did," said the voice of a Bulbrit, who appeared along with three other different electrical Nexomon in the form of Chirrent, Odiborg, and Teslad.
"A woman with green hair?... Do they mean Deena?" Coco asked.
"Yes, that's her name. And she did so roughly 1000 years ago. She has something special for her daughter at the deepest parts of this complex. We're pleased to welcome you, princess Dorothy," the Chirrent smiled at me. As for the Odiborg.
"Be careful of any humans nearby, {Would you kindly}? I'd hate to have anything {YOU FAILED} to happen to you," he said, me tilting my head at him... he spoke like he was using voice lines from two other games I had on the system with Nexomon Extinction, those being Bioshock and Crash Bash... why?
"Don't mind him, he's just gotten a bit glitchy from becoming addicted to some ancient games in this place... the oldest of which being on something called a PS2," said the Teslad, me looking at the others and us then going forward a bit... and after doing so, we saw that the third room we came across... was something that made me gawk.
"Oh... my... god..." I gawked as I looked around the room. The small bed on the right, the placement of the game consoles and video games, and all the different games here? I then turned on the PS4 and, when I saw the different profiles on it, I gawked at the one that was on the list last... November 29th, 2021 was the last time played and it had the username "SunnyDidn'tDoDat". And of the games on my profile, they were just as I remembered... Crash Bash, Spyro Reignited, Deltarune, Undertale, Bioshock 1 and 2, Jak and Daxter collection, and even Bugsnax among many others!
"What's up with you?" Videl asked me.
"This... this is my room... my room exactly... is this really real?" I asked in absolute awe, Coco looking at me with a smile.
"It just goes to show, the more things change, the more they stay the same..." he smiled at me happily.
"One of the wisest things I've heard that wasn't meant as a sarcastic quip..." I smiled as I gave him a hug, feeling a few tears fall from my face at how the place looked. When I was done with my adventures, I didn't care what happened, but I wanted to stay in this world. Sure, I did have a family back home, but I didn't know if it was possible to travel back in time.
"I'm happy you managed to find your true home after all this time... if I could cry, I would be doing so right now," Byeol said with his usual smile and starry eyes. I smirked at the sentiment at least.
We continued forward some more, not coming across any security measures, save for a DNA scanner right before the room to the final place. And when I went inside the scanner, it spoke after giving a scan and a ding.
"Omnicron origin verified. Welcome back, Lady Nara," the computer system said as the door then opened to the big room, where Videl looked at the plans and frowned.
"Okay, I'm stumped... the only room that remained the same was Sunny's ancient room, so this is confusing me... and this room isn't even on the blueprints. And what the heck is Atlas?" Videl asked after reading the big words of Atlas on the giant machine.
"It is the only chance we have for redemption... salvaged over 1000 years ago, the only one who can stop this endless war," said Deena as she appeared from the south and looked at us.
"Huh?" Videl asked as I then froze time for all of us, which Deena looked at me in surprise.
"Deena, I have to ask you something... is it true? Is this world really my world in the far future?" I asked, her sighing at my words.
"Yes, this is your world in the very distant future..." she said grimly. "Long ago, before the first Nexomon was born, the numerous corrupt corporations of human society went to war with the normal everyday citizens. And that war ended when the entire planet was coated in a nuclear explosion that was 30 times larger than the blast at Chernobyl... most people got killed, others survived and became a new breed of human, more colorful while gaining an immunity to all the toxic fumes in the world... and from this radioactivity, the animals and plants became changed into the first Nexomon..." Deena sighed, me asking her something else that was important.
"How very perplexing..." said Byeol.
"And my arriving to this world... was that really Ziegler's doing? Or was it someone else?" I asked, Deena smiling at that.
"It was a combination of my doing, Ziegler, and Eliza's mentor... we knew that we needed someone to help us out in our plight, especially with Vados's newest computer chip addon that allows him to travel through time. If Amelie gives him the order, he will travel through time. And when that happens, the world will collapse on itself if he dares to travel back in time. People can only travel forward in time to keep the world in balance... if someone dares to travel backwards in time, then the universe will be unable to handle it," she said, me gawking at that.
"So... that just proves it, huh? I'm stuck in this timeline..." I sighed.
"Sadly, yes... I apologize for not telling you sooner... I didn't want you to find out this way," Deena sighed at me.
"I found out because of an offhand comment I made to Coco about the one Nexolord guy who looks like Gene Simmons from Kiss and Coco said it was an ancient band," I said, Videl smiling at that.
"You like Kiss, too? I quite like Rock and Roll all Night," Videl spoke with a wide grin. And it was then that the time freezing ended, which is then that I noticed the different Nexomon in the bunker to join us in the main room, all of them looking very nice. And the Odiborg then spoke in some more references.
"I managed to get access to {SONY} Playstation Network and download all games you can on it. It's sure to be a {~Carrot Crawl~} of a time!" Odiborg said, me smiling at his speaking of different words and how he was able to get me ALL the games on it... every single one of them... it was then that my mind was made up.
"Videl... new rules," I said, her looking at me in confusion. "When people start to come into this place, I want my room part to be off limits to everyone but myself and my friends. You, Coco, Ross, Nora, Saria, and only my closest friends in this world can stay there," I said.
"But before that, it's time to awaken Atla-" Deena was about to say before we heard a voice from behind him.
"You know, I never really liked you, Deena... but I never would've guessed you were a traitor this whole time!" said the deep, muscular voice of Xanders as he appeared from my room with a glare in his eyes. He then went up to Deena and she growled at him.
"You followed me here, didn't you?" Deena growled at him.
"You may think I'm all brawn and no brains, but I've killed tons of Tyrants with my bare hands! I can smell one anywhere! And now I know that both you and Sunny are Tyrants in humans' clothing!" he growled, me gawking at that... how did he find that out about me so soon?!
"H-How did you know?!" I asked in him shock.
"Peh. Nothing but a Tyrant could manage to send the entire world images of the secret project of Vados! And not only that, but you had the nerve to survive his attack!" he shouted, that making me furrow my eyebrows at him. "And to think you also have a Tyrant on your side as a part of your team? You're a disgrace to the guild, Tyrant scum!"
"You want me to make him fall asleep, mistress?" Byeol asked as I simply shook my head no.
"Byeol, you wait this one out. This man is able to punch a dragon in the face and could shred Tyrants to bits with his bare hands. I'll handle him," I said.
"Peh! A little weakling like you, going up against me? You should've just died along with those other traitors that tried to attack Amelie," he said, me then finally feeling something snap inside of me.
"You want to play that game? Then sure, let's play that game, jackass," I growled at him as I stepped in between him and Byeol. "I never once attacked anyone out of malice. I've been going after criminals, defeating other Tyrants left and right, even to the point of saving the entirety of New Ignitia from Mulcimer! And Amelie didn't just want to kill me, but all of my friends, too! If I didn't save them, all of my friends would've been dead for doing NOTHING WRONG!" I shouted at him, Xanders scoffing at me. "And if protecting the innocent means that I have to stand against the guild, especially against someone as strong as you, then I will not hesitate to protect the innocent, even if that means you have to kill me to do so!" I then proceeded to place my foot on the ground and prepare my powers. I had to protect Deena, Coco, and Videl from him.
"Hmph. Big talk, but I know how you Tyrants really operate. In fact, let's test that stupid theory of yours," he said as he then proceeded to rush at Coco, and he grabbed him by the arm!
"LET HIM GO NOW!" I shouted at him.
"Peh, or what? I'd think that I could go ahead and let this kitty lose a few of his lives," he said, that making Coco gasp and for me to instantly jump into the fray. I immediately used the Nexomon move on him in the form of Pendulum... and I gawked at how I'd managed to make him fall into a deep sleep afterwards, me then getting Coco off of him and for me to then take some of our spare rope and proceeded to tie him up like a hog with his arms and legs reached behind his back. And when he woke up, he looked a bit surprised as I let out my team of Nexomon.
"Rgh... you think that these flimsy ropes can hold me for long?! I've killed Tyrants with my bare-" he was about to say before I then kicked him in the face with a football kick, him then groaning in pain as I saw that he looked pretty drained.
"Wouldn't it be quite a shame if I showed everyone in the Frozen Tundra and Parum that you ended up trying to kill an innocent person that doesn't even have any Nexomon of his own? How ruined would your reputation be if that happened, hmm, diaper baby?" I asked, him then growling at me. "So you only have one of two options, Xanders. Spare me as I spared you and I will keep this little meeting of ours secret. If you attack us? Then I'm going to hurt you much harder, and you will be exposed as an attempted murderer of an innocent kid," I said, him frowning at me as he then spat on the ground. He then simply broke free from his rope bindings and then warped away with his personal teleporter.
"He's not going to be happy about this. He's sure to try and kill us at a later date," Deena frowned at me as I simply nodded.
"I know, and so does he. I know that he'll try to kill us, and he knows that if he does so, I'm going to expose him for what he tried to do to Coco," I said, him then going up to me and purring against my leg, which made me smile.
"Thanks for saving me... he was really hurting me badly, though... my arm feels pretty sore," he said as I then touched it and saw that it did make him wince. I then proceeded to use my own powers of healing on him, which made him and Deena both gawk at how I'd healed his arm.
"How did you learn how to heal people already?" she asked.
"I learned how to do it when I got jumped by some of those Nexolords trying to get the explosives to break in here..." I smiled.
"I'll awaken Atlas, then, now that we have no more interruptions," Deena said as she then input some codes on the big machine and I looked at my old room... and thankfully, the room was unharmed by the brawny asshat.
"It's very rare to meet a {Beffica Winklesnoot} that is as strong as Xanders," he said, me then spitting from the stupidity of the word usage before then laughing out loud like an insane person from the fact that Xanders was now comparable to Beffica Winklesnoot from Bugsnax!
"AHHHAAHAAAAAAAHHHHAAAHAAAA!" was just one of the laughs I made.
"What's so funny?" Coco asked.
"That's the name of one of the characters in one of our princess's video games. A snobby muppet girl that loves gossip and butting into others' business," Chirrent said, me smirking at that.
"I like that you have at least five game systems left... and that it has so many games on it? It sounds so cool," Coco smirked.
"I agree," I smiled as Deena then managed to open the door and the little robot guy finally emerged with a smile on his digitized face.
"Wait... this tiny hunk of junk is supposed to be the savior of humanity?" Viidel asked.
"And who are you supposed to be? Because you look like a construction worker," Atlas frowned.
"I'm a miner! I smash rocks for a living!" Videl shouted at him.
"And your name is supposed to be Atlas?" Coco asked.
"Gee, what gave it away? The giant name that was on the door?" Atlas asked, me smirking at that.
"Alright, I already don't like this guy," Coco frowned in an annoyed manner.
"Don't worry, Coco. Atlas may be just as much of a sarcastic quip machine as you, but he is also integral to stopping Amelie's plans," Deena said with a smile.
"How so?" I asked. But it was then that we gawked at how she was starting to fade away.
"Dammit... of all the times for my life to expire... it had to be now..." she groaned, me helping her up and seeing that I could still touch her, but I was still starting to go through her. "Atlas... you have a special sensor in you... a sensor to detect other Tyrants... if Amelie happens to fully power Vados... you will need to sense for the Tyrants... and convince them to join your team..." she said, Atlas gawking at that as well as Coco and Videl. But Deena? She collapsed on the ground as I felt it... her power was fading... I didn't want her to die... I proceeded to try and use my own healing powers on her... to revive her... revive Deena... please... and then, all of a sudden, with a few tears falling onto the ground, all of us gawked at how my powers started to shine bright as a green rainbow as it completely coated Deena, me not stopping until Deena had finally managed to stand back up and she opened her eyes again.
"Hoogh... I'm... I'm alive?..." she asked as she then pinched herself as I finally fell on the ground with a smile. "Sunny! Are you okay?!" Deena asked in shock as she went to me, and I smiled at her happily.
"Don't worry, I'm fine... just need a few potions and ethers... I got a bit weakened after using a lot of my greenery powers to revive your spirit," I said with a smile.
"Wait... did you actually... revive her from death's door?" Videl asked.
"Holy {Cungadero}! You actually managed to {SALT THE WOUND!} to rescue your {~Snake Eateeer~} mother," he said, me smiling at him.
"You wanna join the team, mister Odiborg? Because I feel I could get a lot of good laughs from you in the future," I smiled at him.
"Only if I can play the games when we {Return to Menu}. And possibly do a {Two for one special!} with you in Crash Bash," he said to me. And it was only then that I understood the function of his weird speech... it was from Spamton G Spamton from Deltarune Chapter 2... but that only made me curious... was the game FINISHED?! I immediately went to the game and saw he also recorded video of it... and I saw that the game actually had 6 chapters before finally having a final chapter... and it started with a boss fight against... W.G. GASTER?!
"Well... at least you managed to finish the game, Toby Fox. And when we're done with this adventure, I want to play through all of Deltarune first off," I smiled, that making my allies look at me in confusion.
"What's your obsession with a game?" Videl asked.
"Before I was sent 3000 years into the future, the game only had 2 chapters and was only being developed by one guy and a small group of others... like, 15 people. And usually, games need over 200 people working to make it within the span of a year to 3 years," I said, that making Coco smirk widely.
"So you're excited to finally finish the game. I know how that feels, because I wanted to finish Chrono Trigger when I got on the mentor's personal computer... but he banned me from it after I accidentally saved over his game file," he said, me smiling at him.
"Ah yes, the most egregious sin to happen to a gamer," I smiled. "Let's get back to the town and tell them about the rules for this place. All the rooms minus room three are able to be moved into," I said.
"And I shall speak with the Nexomon in this place to let them know to be nice to the humans that arrive," Bulbrit said, me smirking at him.
"Thanks, mister Bulbrit," I smiled at him.
Meanwhile, in the not-so-sunken underwater city, Amelie looked at Vados as he proceeded to get some more additions from the power supply of the city. He needed to be fully charged up in order to defeat all the Tyrants in the world.
"Vados... I've worked my entire life to make you a reality... it's only a matter of time until this war will finally end," Amelie frowned to herself... she then heard some footsteps from behind her and it was then that her most trusted scientist arrived.
"Miss Amelie?" asked the very intellectual brain of Logan, the Renegade that owned Bolzen, the Tyrant of electricity.
"Yes, what is it, Logan?" Amelie asked.
"Now that you have hidden Vados from sight to work on him, I need to tell you something... I've gotten a message from Xanders. He says that two of our Tamers happen to be Tyrants in disguise as humans!" Logan said, which made Amelie gasp.
"W-What?! And who would he accuse of this?" Amelie asked.
"Well, that's the part you won't like. Guildmaster Deena is one of them, found out to be one of Omnicron's children, Nara, the Tyrant of Life," Logan said, Amelie trying to hold in her rage... "And the other is... Sunny Dorothy... and she's apparently Deena's child?.. So she might be the next queen... unless we kill her first?" Logan asked with a smirk, but Amelie shuddered at the knowledge that Sunny was the next in line for the monstrous line of Omnicron's legacy... and that Deena was her mother and secretly one of Omnicron's children? She knew something had to be done.
"Then we'll need to resort to drastic measures, since Vados isn't fully charged. Put a bounty on both of their heads! Dead only!" Amelie shouted at Logan.
"Well, that may be kind of difficult, considering that almost everyone witnessed you attack her in the abandoned factory..." Logan frowned. And Amelie gawked at that.
"What?..." she asked.
"She used her psychic powers to share every bit of her visit to that building with the entire world. People all over are against the guild, but none more so than Guildmaster Edward, Lydia, and all the people of Lateria," he frowned. Amelie sighed and facepalmed herself.
"So what you're saying is that everyone thinks I'm an insane lunatic... fine. If they don't want Vados to protect them, then I'll force them to adapt," Amelie frowned, which Logan started to sweat at. Was she really going to use fear to end the war? He had to hope that Amelie didn't do anything she might regret, especially concerning Vados.
