Chapter 2: A Strange Premonition!
In the later-half of the night, when everything outside was pitch black, the same mysterious cosmic blazar/quasar light event that struck Domino city in the past struck again. Only this time, things were ever-so-slightly different. The weather started to become extremely erratic; skies went greyish/white despite it being night, thunder striking spurratically. This was all followed by the same mysterious cosmic blazar/quasar light show, in which space/the night sky became multicolored. Suddenly, after this woke everyone in the house up, Yugi had the sudden urge to open up his gold sarcophagus box to look at his old deck, which he hadn't used in many months now. Then, out of nowhere, the millennium puzzle re-appeared on Yugi after nearly 2 decades, in the same way the Millennium Ring used to for Bakura and did in the Dark Side of Dimensions days. Joey remarked: "What's up Yuge? What's goin' on ova dere? The Millenium Puzzle was destroyed when Yami passed on to the afterlife, so what's it doin' on your neck right now?!". "I dunno, Joey", said Yugi,"this is just as much a mystery to me as it is to you.'' Once he started reminiscing of the past and all his adventures with Pharaoh Atem and the gang, a bright blinding white light struck everywhere, where subsequently they found themselves in a completely white room with seemingly no end or beginning (akin the Z-ONE's room in 5D's when he transported Yusei and Sherry there). For a few moments, everyone looked around, and Tea remarked: "what on earth is going on guys ?!" They look around for a few minutes, wandering around this seemingly neverending zone they're in, wondering where they were, and soon afterwards found themselves back at the house.
There was one noticeable difference after this cryptic incident took place - before themselves, they now found none other than the Pharaoh Atem/Yami Yugi. Yami's spirit resurrected from its now nearly 2 decade slumber beyond the gates of the afterlife (17 yrs. to be exact, at the time of writing). The Pharaoh still hasn't processed everything yet as he looks around and wonders just where he's ended up, blinking constantly, saying to himself "where am I ?". Then he turns around and says: "Y-YUGI! By God I haven't seen you in so long! And Tea, Tristan, Joey, everyone! You've all grown up into fine adults". Everyone rushes to give Atem a big family hug as they had all missed him dearly. He asked:" how did I end up here? ". Yugi remarks: "I dunno…but we sure are glad you did! Hahaha." *classic anime closed-eyed smiley face*.
Both are now not only reunited by some mysterious hand of fate and destiny, but they are both now their own full-fledged human beings standing side-by-side.
How Yami came back from the afterlife in spirit and flesh remains to be seen and understood, but all he remembers before blacking out is the following – he was walking into his Royal Chamber, about to sit in his Pharaonic Throne tomb…then a blinding white light encompassed his vision, he blacks out…
Now that the happy surprise excitement has subsided a little, with everyone having so many questions for the Pharaoh, they decide to go with the most effective course of action…going back to sleep and chatting about things over next morning's breakfast. Little do they know…some unexpected yet very well-known visitor will drop by at that time.
