Author's note: Ok I know that I have made a long prologue but I am not going make a gaggle of 10 year old's do something mature, this is going to be years later down the line. Yes I made up a few characters but those are non-canon plus this is an AU. And yes I made an ancestor of Sakura a student Of Clow because I want to give them a connection of some sort but don't mix that Kinomoto Kaito with the Yuna D. Kaito these two are totally two different people for those who have seen and read the clear card ARC. But now we are getting to the main story, also I don't own CCS.

Chapter 1

POV: Sakura

I live in Tomoeda, the capitol of the Daidouji kingdom in the Ni-hon-kaido archipelago nations. It was and ordinary spring morning like any other morning. My brother Touya would wake me up in the most annoying manner, by telling me I'm going to be late on an early morning. Once I realized he was he was teasing me I would stomp his foot immediately. however late be becomes pretty good at avoiding my feet, and he would chuckle at my expense. As off right at this moment I was preparing to go to school for the day as I was putting on my school uniform.

"Geeze, baka onichan... one of these days I'm gonna, uuurrrrggghhh!" I mumble as I was putting on my socks. my school uniform consist of a aqua and black hakama, also I've added pink cherry flower embroidery on it to personalized it {authors note: think the costume she wore in episode 65 but the colors are that of the Seijyo High school uniform}.

"I would be smoother if you weren't such a heavy sleeper Sakura. things like that wouldn't happen all the time." Keroberos is my familiar and a good friends of mine, we've been practically inseparable since I started collecting the Clow cards. I affectionately call him Kero chan because of his plushy form which is very cute, while his true form is that of an armored lion with golden wings.

"Like you would try and hold your self back when it comes to sweets Kero chan." I retorted "come on lets get down stairs for breakfast." I didn't even gave him the chance to make a comeback and he knows what I said is true, he's a gluten when it comes to sweets and his ego can be very annoying at times. But he's my friend first before being my servant and I treat him as a friend. Oh where are my manners. My name is Kinomoto Sakura, I'm a student at Tomoeda Seijyo academy, the school I go to has a program that allows mages and non mages to study together in a comfortable environment and be friends with one another. I am one of those mages. I was told that I have potential for magic when I was a child but we don't know the right tools for me to use. every mage has method to use their magic, and many years ago I found out my method when I became the mistress of the Clow cards. though embarrassingly I was a bit of a late bloomer compared to other mages who found theirs at 6-8 years of age, while I found mines at 10 years of age. as I got down My father was in the kitchen making breakfast while my brother was already at the table eating his.

"Ohayo" I greeted

"Ah Sakura-san Ohayo. I'll get your plate out in a moment." my father called out

"Arigato otosan" I smiled while taking a seat.

"huh. kaiju is still a shorty after all these years." a tic popped on my head as Touya made that joke, for that I stomped at his foot and this time I nailed him square at the toes. as Onichan winched and moaned in pain otosan came in with breakfast in hand.

"Now now you two, I know you siblings have your squabbles but please behave. also I have a big project that needs my attention on one of the Islands" otosan is a scholar by occupation. his primary focus is archeology, where he studies ancient text and ruins from ancient times. he has taken care of me and my brother ever since mom passed away, I have no memory of her but Touya and otosan always tell me that I take after her in personality. my brother Touya is a university student. he has many jobs so he could payoff the class fees. He could have used the money inherited from our great grandfather, but he refuse to do it and has many jobs to pay it off. he can be a bit of a jerk at times but he's my brother and I love him to death. his partner and best friend Yukito is a handsome man with grey hair, a friendly personality, and amazingly a big appetite. He was my crush years before but now I've moved on. Also his true for which is named Yue is my second familiar, as Yukito he's kind to me but as Yue he can be a bit more serious in his job.

"how did those final exams go Sakura-san?"

"we're getting the results first thing next week." I answered "almost all of the Exams are finished and this is the last day for some. hopefully my friends are done with theirs."

"You sure you did well Sakura? cause I've seen you struggle with athematic."

"I'm fine onichan! I studied my but off for it. Hopefully I would at least get a C in that subject!" when it comes to any type of math class I'm the worst, even a simple algebra equation is difficult for me. My highest grade in any math class is a B minus.

"Ok I'm done... I'll see you guys later!" I stood up from my seat as I have already finished my breakfast. I took my bag, put on my shoes and head the door as fast as I could.

"Ya ne!" I shouted as I left with kero chan in tow.

My home island of the Daidouji kingdom is one of many island nations in the archipelago. we are more peace full than the two major powers. The feudal shogunate of Kyoto which has some of the most skilled warriors in the archipelago, while the united kingdom of edo is more centralized and has numbers on its side, but the soldiers are of good quality rivaling Kyoto's warriors. these two were always at eachothers necks if it weren't for the council of the archipelago which kept the peace. The other islands are more rural compared to the 4 major islands (us included). other than a few squabbles and skirmishes around the archipelago we are living a peaceful life as it can get.

It's been 5 years since the Clow card incident. and a years has past since the clearcard troubles. now I'm living a normal life, well as normal as one could get for a sorceress such as myself anyway. I've got a supportive family, a loving boyfriend, great friends, and an average school life. what's not normal is that these days my fiends and I got into all sorts of trouble. a few months ago for example, there was a middle-aged teacher perving out the female students. My friends and I decided to prank to make him confess and teach him a lesson. we got detention for 3 days believe it or not, but the evidence we got not only got him investigated, but also fired, arrested, and blacklisted. It turns out not only did he perv the female student, but he also sexually harass them and he raped 2 already. we've practically ruined his life. what a disgusting man. As I was jogging down the street I spotted a familiar figure walking ahead of me, and I realized who the black haired beauty was.

"Tomoyo chan! ohaiyo!"

"ohayo Sakura chan" Daidouji Tomoyo chan is my best friend. we have practically known each other since we were babies. her school unifom is the same as mine however she has the Daidiouji family emblem embraided on the left shoulder. she is the princes of the Daidouji family and is considered royalty, however everyone treats her the same as anybody else with no special treatment according to school rules. she is talented in many things, in both academics and the music arts. however she has a weird hobby of recording my best moments to playing dress up with me, in fact most of my costumes I've used for my card capturing days was made by her. Her family also owns a toy company which is pretty big and the Archipelago. it's common practice for the nobility of our country to own a side business. living off of taxpayer money is considered illegal for the countries politics, cause that revenue is better suited to improved the peoples lives. however there are a few scumbags here and there but most nobles and royals actually keep their hand off of tax money.

"Are you happy that the final exams are over?" Tomoyo asked

"Uh huh... gee they were exhausting" I replied

"you did struggle with them." kero chan added

"I don't they're that difficult." I sweat dropped as she told me that

"That's cause you're really smart tomoyo chan"

"she's really intelligent" Kero chan

"sakura chan! tomoyo chan!" we looked and saw Akiho shinomoto waving as she was running towards us.

"Akiho! Ohayo" we both called. Akiho is the newest member of our group and has been a part our crazy adventures ever since. her uniform is the same uniform worn by the academies female students, but she added a blue scarf over her shoulders. her light blond hair shone flowed as she came to us. she and I are allot alike in many ways. some even joked that we were twins separated by birth. we do have a sisterly bond together, and she is an exceptional sorceress her self.

"How is Yuna san Doing?" Tomoyo asked.

"He's still reprenting for the trouble he has caused. but he's doing better!"

"I'm happy for you Akiho chan, maybe some day you two could marry each other" I added in.

"I don't know about that though." Akiho answered. ever since the clear card incident Yuna san is being punished for the trouble he has cause to many innocent lives. for that he has his magic power taken away. It was given to me and Akiho for the trouble he caused, and I used that magic to restore the cards to their original forms. We've all forgiven him. however kero chan and yue san still hold a grudge against him, cause he has cut them of their magic source for months. as we walked towards school and chatting happily amongst our selves. Out of the corner if my eye I noticed someone coming from one of streets at an intersection, the moment he came into view, I recognized the Chestnut hair and amber eyes of his. with out thinking I rushed up to the handsome man I consider my true love.

"Syaoran kun!" I shouted. Syaoran turned and looked at me with a smile.

"Sakura!" he called as I jumped into his arms and embraced him and we kissed for 2 good minutes. I love the feeling of our lips touching each other, and I loved being in his arms. I never want this bliss to end. however we realized that we were not alone. as we quickly separate, and turned our heads with our mouths disappeared and our eyes turned to dots as we looked at out spectators. Akiho has her hands in front of her mouth hiding her smile while blushing. Tomoyo on the other hand was recording us using a recording crystal with a smile on her face. and kero chan was smirking like a maniac.

"Don't mind us. please continue."

"HOEEEEEEEEEEEE" I yelled at the three. Tomoyos comment is really embarasing for us two.

"You two need a room" the five of us turned from Syaoran's direction to see a smirking Meiling leaning on a wall. the moment I saw her I fell (anime style of coarse). not long after that we started walking again, this time I was right behind everybody with Syaoran at my side.

"Tomoyo is dangerous with that crystal" Syaoran remarked.

"Eh he he he." I laughed with embarrassment. Syaoran is my boyfriend and long time lover for 5 years. our relationship began while we were collecting the cards. at first he was my rival for the cards but then we became friends, and after that we became lovers. his uniform was changshan with the same colors of the normal school uniform, and the symbol of the Li clan on the back. it was something he request since he considered a hakama and a kimono a bit uncomfortable for his taste. Meiling made a similar request however she opted for a short skirt aqua cheongsam with and some with black pants that goes just below the knees. her hair is put in two buns as always. the two cousins are from Hong kong port city in the Han-cho empire. They came with Wei the oldest servant in the family. we are on peaceful terms with the empire but they are at odds with us, especially with the two waring nations. Meiling is a good friend of mine and she does help me out a bit when it comes to Syaorans past. as we got to the school gates we arrived just a tad bit early. however there are students already flocking in. as we headed to our shoe lockers we were greeted by the rest of the gang.

"Min'na ohayo!" Rika called. she came in with Naoko, Chiharu, and Yamazaki.

"Ohayo!" we all called out. our 4 friends walked up, now the group are together as one. there is one more member of the group. his name is Eriol hiigaziwa, he comes from the far western countries. last we heard of his is that is going to Hong kong for some business. something about an old task he has yet to finish. whatever that is, and I don't know if I want to find out.

"Every one are together again! Right before summer vacation will begin." I was about to switch my shoes for my indoor shoes, as I opened my locker door a bunch of paper fell out of it. it didn't took long for all of us to realize that they were love letters. As we looked at the mess with dots for eyes Rika was the first to speak.

"this is new."

"hoe?"

"Seems that sakura chan is getting quite popular right now." tomoyo said with a sweat drop on he head. I looked at everyone with a confused smile. every one was just as confused while Syaoran didn't look to pleased. he tends to get angry at any guy that tries to flirt with me. I was always dense when it comes to a guys feelings, maybe it's because of my crush with Yukito that blinded me from others. but I soon learned how to read other peoples emotions.

"How do I deal with this guys? I have no experience with these things" I gave a desperate look. I was always the one who have seen romance in books and I do know that Rika has thing for a certain sensei in the school district. as I looked at my friends in desperation Chiharu was the one that answered.

"Just flat out reject them Sakura. these guys are just not worth it."

"Arigato Chiharu chan."

"Also take Li san with you. they need to know that you're taken." Syaoran and I looked at each other. with a nod we agreed with Chiharu chans advice and decide to go with it once these guys come to us we will make sure they get the message.

"I hope that things will work out with two" Akiho said as she was opening her locker. however the moment she did, an equal amount of love letters came sprawling out. all of us look in amazement with dots for eyes as Akiho is going through the same thing that I am going through. this make things more awkward than it already.

"Looks like the estranged twin seems to have the same problem as the other." Naoko commented. Akiho looked at us with an embarrassed look on her face and let out an equally embarrassed laugh.

"Maybe you should go along with them and say that you are planning to become their concubine or something. what do you think Syaoran?" we all looked at yamazaki with an displeased look on our face.

BONK

yamazaki kun fell to the floor with a bump on his head. Chiharu's hits have gotten stronger since then, she even knocked Yamazaki out a few times. Chiharu grabbed him by the collar and dragged him away.

"He needs to learn to keep his big mouth shut." Kero chan commented breaking the silence

"for once I agree with the plushy." Meiling added.

POV: syaoran

Hours have passed and it was lunch time. we were lucky to have found an area on the roof for just for the ten of us (Keor chan included). Sakura and I came last as we bought some sandwiches and sweets from the cafeteria. the two of us were exhausted because we have to reject every guy that came to confess. because of that we were 5 minutes late.

"You're late" keroberos called out

"Did anything happened?" tomoyo asked.

"we met some of the guys who sent me the cards."

"Did you reject them?" Rika asked

"I did, and some were persistent till Syaoran butted in. Demo-"

"One of those guys challenged me for her heart." everyone perked up wanting to know what happened. it turns out the guy who challenged Me was of a samurai family. he bragged about how talented he was in martial arts and pulled out his bokuto to prove it. He was pompous, arrogant, and has and ego as big as a whale. Syaoran didn't take him that seriously. when the fight has begun it didn't took Syaoran much to knock him out.

"Let me get this Syaoran. you just simply dodged his overhead cut, and gave him a palm strike to the chest that send him flying across the hall?" Yamazaki asked.

"Believe it or not I even asked myself if I have actually did that!" When gave him the palm strike I was so frustrated that I put it all out on that one strike. "he claimed he was talented but his stance and form was so wrong and easy to spot. did he listen to his masters lessons at all? I mean he's from a samurai familly for heavens sake!"

Everyone sweat dropped when we were finished with the story. Everyone ate in an awkward silence until Naoko broke it

"Anybody got plans this weekend?" all of us but mailing gave an answer

"I've been wanting of going to that abandoned castle a few miles away, I was thinking there could be a number of youkai there" with that everyone groaned while sakura and Akiho look at Naoko in fright.

"No offence Naoko but we don't want anything to do with mystics this time." Yamazaki told her.

"Yeah and I've seen allot with my time with sakura chan" Tomoyo added

"Come on guys it'll be fun!"

"To you maybe but I don't think the "Twins" would like that" Rika gestured to the two frightened sorceresses

"Is there anything we can do besides that?" sakura asked with hope in her eyes. that was till Meling popped up.

"I have an idea!" We all looked at meiling who now has sparkles in her eyes. we all were worried cause some of Meiling's plans are going to get us into trouble.

"What are you planning Meiling chan?" tomoyo asked.

"first let me ask you this Xiao lang. do you remember what my father did before our engagement?" it's no secret to everyone that I used to be engaged to Meiling because of our parents and the elders. however Meiling broke it off because I chose sakura over her as a lover.

"Yeah he lend some money to a business man who turned out to be a fraud by not paying back the money he owed. now he's a wanted criminal in Han-cho." I answered

"That's right and as it turns out he's in Tomoeada right now and is running an illegal gambling house that he operates at night." we all perked up at what Meiling was going to say.

"I've investigating for a few weeks now way before the final exams. also I mangage to get help from the pit boss who wanted to get out. I've been thinking, if we go their disguised as staff and customers. get this guy to come out and be alone with some of us. we may as well get this scumbag thrown behind bars or something!" we all looked up with interest, even Naoko believed that this is good idea. but Keroberos is still skeptical.

"hold up even if we catch this guy are you sure your plan will work?"

"with you guys with me I'm sure it will work" Meiling looked at all of us with confidence. "oh yeah Sakura we may need your brother in on this"

"Why do we need Touya for this?" sakura asked

"Cause we're going to need and adult on this."

"She's right sakura. your brother is the only one we know who's not only old enough, but also probaly the only one willing to go on our escapades'" Keroberos explained.

"there is only one question though." Yamazaki asked "he's a wanted man so how big is this guy's bounty?"

"around 500 gold yuanbaos last time I checked" Meiling answered

"are you kidding meiling? you're set for life with that much money!" I yelled

"How much is a gold yuanbao?" Akiho asked.

"Around 100 million yen" I said.

"are you crazy Meiling? this guy could be dangerous!" Chiharu protested

"I'm in!" yamzaki raised his hand. Naoko pinched her bridge of her nose not believing what she just heard.

"I can't believe this... Yamazaki is just easily persuaded into this and he may-"

"Don't be like that Naoko think of what you can get with that much money" meiling interupted while asking with a smirk. Naoko looked at meiling for a second then her eyes started to swirl as she moans with greed in her voice

"I can buy every horror novel I want to read."

"See she's got the right idea." yamazaki comented. meiling looked both me and Sakura.

"Sakura you said that your brother is working many jobs just to pay his college classes right?"

"He is and if he has that money he could... pay it... all off" sakura answered with hesitation.

"And Xiao lang you would have a nice dowry if you want to marry sakura in the future." sakura and I looked at each other for a second then looked away. I bet we were both blushing really hard. I do plan to marry sakura in the future, and that dowry could pay it well. before we all knew it we we're taken in by our own greed.

"Tomoyo I Need your sewing skills for this, and I will give you the specifics tonight." meiling said with an evil smile.

"Oh hohohohohohohohoh! this will be fun" Tomoyo laughed with glee.

"It sure will be... OH HO HO HO HO HO HO HO. OH HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO" as meiling laughed everyone looked as us with weird looks as if we are crazy.

3rd POV

as the gang went on with their school day, many of the students were talking amongst each other about the events that unfolded. Many were talking about Sakura's relationship with Syaoran. it's a huge topic since the schools strongest sorceress is dating a foreign student. one young female student over hears the conversations. Her name is suzuki Hina, an underclassman to Sakura and the gang. Hina decided to check things out her self to see if the relationship is true, cause if it is she might have to got through some drastic measures in order to get what she want. as she walked through the hallway she spotted Syaoran talking to yamazaki. She watch the two carefully as the two tall boys were having a conversation. after a minute of talking about what they are planning for the weekend. as they were having this conversation Syaoran notice hina. Hina gave him a look of disgust and walked out of sight.

"Did you see that Yamazaki?"

"see what?"

"there is the dark haired girl by the window and she was looking a me with disgust in her eyes."

"What did you do to her?"

"I don't... this is the first time I've seen her." as Hina walked through the hall in search for Sakura she couldn't help but think

'there's no way a guy like him could be courting a great sorceress as her.' after a while she found Sakura walking along side Rika.

"I think that this is definitely gonna get us into trouble." rika said

"You have no idea."

"ano Kinomoto senpai!" as the two girl looked in front of them the see a young black haired girl. she is obviously an under classman or of the Tomoeda middle school nearby.

"Can I help you?" sakura asked

"Ano You're not courting Li senpai are you?"

"Actually I am... Why do you ask?" with that Hina clicked her tongue at sakuras answer. "Hoe?"

"Excuse me!" with that Hina ran off.

"Why does she ask you such a question?" Rika asked

"Don't know."

30 minutes went by and syaoran was delivering papers to Classroom 3B which was close by. as he walked down the hall way he felt a presence right behind him. as he arrived at the classroom and placed the papers down on the teachers desk. once he was he decided to ask the one who's following him. he believed it was the same girl who glared at him.

"I know you've followed me for some time now." he turned to look at the girl who followed him "who are you? and what do you want?"

"When are you gonna break up with Kinomoto senpai?"

'That's strange question to ask' syaoran thought. "Never...why?"

"I see." Hina said with disappointment. With that she grabbed Syaoran by the hand and ran of to find Sakura with protesting Syaoran behind him. as the two found Sakura and Rika she was gasping for air as she had run as fast as she could dragging syaoran with her.

"What's going on? why are you dragging Syaoran kun with you, and who are you again?" sakura asked

"Suzuki Hina... I've heard that you were courting this guy here, Why are you courting him?" Hina yelled the whole hallway heard the commotion. Tomoyo, yamazaki and chiharu were coming out of a classroom and when they saw what was going on, Tomoyo pulled out her recording crystal just to record the commotion.

"a girl like is just to perfect for someone like him! you're kind and beautiful! Heck you even have the most captivating smile than anyone around! and here you are dating this foreigner who just transferred to this district almost 2 years ago! A guy like him is not even worthy of you! you should be with someone who understands you!" as Hina shouted. it soon dawned on the spectator to see what was going on

"I've been watching you 3 years now Kinomoto senpai, and only till recently I've put up the courage to give you my letter of confession. so please go out with me and ditch this guy!"

"HOEEEEEEEE?"

"Hold up! what makes you thing I don't understand sakura at all. I mean sure I may not be worthy of her. I don't think anybody is! But I love Sakura for who she is!" Syaoran shouted

"Well I love her more! So go away you foreign devil" Hina retorted. as the two started their slugfest of words many students who are hearing the commotion nearby came to watch. some were looking in amusement while others are showing concern for the 3. the banter took a couple of minutes and it was not going well.

"I don't care who you think you are. I won't let Kinomoto senpai become a throwaway doll for you to play with!" That was the last straw for Syaoran. he grabbed Hina by some pressure points and managed to wrench her off of Sakura. as Hina let go of her grip she fell to ground with pain in places she never knew she had.

"Ai ta ta! why You-"

"Now you listen to me young lady!" syaoran growled. Hina winced back at his clam tone. "I don't see sakura as a toy or whatever you thought I was thinking, the love of my life, and I would rather die protecting her than toss her away like trash. also she is mine as I am hers. and I'm not letting any man or woman in your case steal her away from me, got it?"

'Man I never thought that he's that serious. he's as dangerous as a tough samurai or arashigaru it's kowai!' hina thought

"Sakura let's go" sakura was wondering what had happened as Syaoran picked her up Hime-sama style

"ano syaoran kun?"

"Just listen your boyfriend for once." syaoran said sakuras heart was pounding so hard, she had never seen syaoran as worried as this

"Ha... Hai." with that the couple took off

"SENPAI" hin shouted.

"Did you record it Daidouji san?" yamazaki asked

"I've got it all in here!" answered Tomoyo. Hina stood up and tried to go after the couple. however Rika grabbed her sould and shook her head.

"I shouldn't do that is I were you. Sakura chan and Li san are already committed. also they didn't started datting recently."

"Nani?" Hina asked

"these two have been dating since they were ten!" Rika explained

SNAP!

Hina went as white as a sheet of paper. and with that went home depressed. for a whole week the entire school talked about Hinas' sexuality. and because of the events that occurred, she has stayed in her room for 3 days without any contact. her brothers was so worried for her. then on the fourth day his friend came over for her. the two of them talked about what had happened. when the brothers friend explained that he had confessed to Sakura as well and got rejected. as the two talked Hina started to feel better and begins to let go of her crush with sakura and move on. after that the two became good friends since then.

Authors note: Ok that last part may not be relevant to the plot but I want to end my first chapter with something comical. I took inspiration from a certain high school anime where a girl fell for a bad boy who was mistaken for an otaku at school. there was a scene just like that so I decided to do something similar. also I though it would be funny it Sakura got confessed to by a girl and Syaorans reaction to it. ok so that's the end of chapter 1 I hope you liked it cause I gotta work on the other chapters later.
