Boscha and Skara looked at the school, their cowls up, covering their heads in order to block as much sunlight as possible.
"Well, we've stayed out of here as long as possible, we have to go today." Boscha said.
"Let's get inside, the sun is starting to get to me." Skara said.
"Wait." Boscha sad, making a spell circle.
Skara looked at Boscha, who had blue eyes.
"There, now the only thing we have to do is make sure no one sees our fangs." Boscha said, "Let's hope we can make it to lunch."
"How do you know an Illusion spell?" Skara asked.
"Don't worry about it."
In another part of the Isles, Luz was being dropped off at Lilith's Manor.
"Alright, remember, Luz, King and I will be back in two days. I need to get a special ingredient for a potion." Eda said.
"Why can't I come again?" Luz asked.
"Because it's found in a place called the Cave of Light, for obvious reasons, I don't want you there." Eda ruffled Luz's hair, "I'll see you in a few days!"
Eda flew off and Lilith opened the door. Luz ran at her and hugged her.
"Hi, Aunt Lily!"
"How's my favorite Niece?" Lilith asked.
"I'm your only Neice." Luz said.
"Well, you don't have any competition then."
She noticed Luz look down and realized something was wrong.
"Luz, let's get you inside, then you can tell what's wrong." Lilith said.
Lilith put an arm around Luz's shoulder and lead her inside. At Hexside, Skara was in class, trying to stay as far from the window as possible. She was having a problem; her hunger was growing and she didn't have any blood with her. She held her stomach and tried to make it to lunch, where her and Boscha would think of something to help.
"Miss Melody? Are you listening?" The teacher asked.
"Huh? Oh, yes, I'm... I'm listening." Skara said, trying to keep her mouth closed as much as possible.
"Alright then, then who was the creator of Bard Magic?"
"The first creator of Bard Magic was Allegra Melis, almost four hundred years ago, making it one of the newer forms of magic." Skara said.
"Correct."
Skara smiled, it would only make sense that she knew it, Allegra was her great-great-great-great grandmother. She was also one of the oldest people to ever live, living to be 157 years old. While Skara was doing good in class, Potion class was becoming Boscha's least favorite thing. Skara could get away with staying in a shadowy corner, the Potion room didn't have that luxury, not for Boscha at least. Her seat was in the direct sunlight. If it wasn't for her cowl, then you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between her and the flash dust she needs for her potion. She poured a yellow liquid into the cauldron, which put her hand directly in the sun. She bit back a scream and quickly finished pouring it. She quickly held her hand as it burned.
"Miss Triplet, it would seem that you received a small burn." The teacher said, "You should go to the Healer's and get that checked out."
Boscha, remembering that the Healer's Office doesn't have any direct sunlight at this time of the day, and remembering that Kat was in there today, immediately agreed.
"Y-y-yeah. I'll go there now."
Boscha quickly walked out of there and walked down the hall. On the way, she held her stomach and groaned.
"My... my hunger is getting stronger. If I don't get blood soon, then I'll go Feral."
She didn't think she would make it through the day without blood, but she doesn't want to bite someone and she doubts anyone would be willing to let her bite them.
