Boscha and Skara looked at her.

"B-b-but... that would turn you." Skara said, "Or... kill you."

"And it would keep you two safe." Amelia said.

Kat got in the way of them, coming up with an idea.

"I think I have a solution." Kat said.

She made a spell circle and summoned a needle. She looked at Boscha and Skara.

"If you two need blood, I can get you blood, without having to bite anyone."

Amelia lost her courage and tried to run, only for Kat to grab her wrist and pulled her back. Kat put the needle in Amelia's arm and pulled blood out of her. Amelia quickly looked away and closed her eyes.

"You were more than willing to have not one, but two, vampires bite you, but you panic when you see a small needle?!" Kat said.

"You know I have a fear of needles!"

Kat removed the needle and walked over to Skara and Boscha.

"Open your mouths." Kat said.

They did and she put about half the blood in Boscha's mouth and the other half in Skara's. They seemed to calm down and stood up. Boscha made a spell circle and their eyes weren't red anymore. Boscha looked at Kat and Amelia.

"Thank you." Boscha said, "That will hopefully get us through the

"You're our friends." Kat said, "We'll be here to help you."

"Thanks." Skara said, before looking at Amelia, "Your blood is really sweet."

Amelia blushed a little.

"Uh... thanks?"

"Let's go back to the cafeteria. Before anyone notices we're missing." Kat said.

She open the door and saw Amity on the other side.

"Oh, h-h-hi Amity." Kat said, "We were just helping Boscha and Skara with something."

Amity looked at them and reached into her bag.

"Well, while you help them, Luz, my Vampire girlfriend said I should give them these." Amity said, "I haven't seen them all day so it was hard to give it to them."

She pulled out two large jug and handed them to Skara and Boscha. They unscrewed the lids and saw the wonderful red liquid they knew.

"By the way; Kat, Amelia, if you think I don't know that they're vampires, they tried to kill me during the New Moon."

"S-s-sorry." Kat said.

They followed Amity back to the cafeteria and started talking.

"So, what exactly happened?" Amelia asked.

"I..." Boscha looked around, "Let's meet at the Treasure Shack later and I'll tell you there."

"You got that fixed?" Amelia asked.

"Yep, I paid some students in the Construction Track to do it." Boscha said, "I don't want anyone to overhear us."

In Clawthorne Manor, Luz and Lilith were going through the books.

"Anything yet?" Luz asked.

"No, that's the fifth one." Lilith said, "Perhaps we should take a break."

"Sure." Luz said, sadly.

Lilith got up and walked over to a closet.

"Hey, Luz, when is your birthday?"

"July 9- that's tomorrow." Luz realized, "I guess it doesn't matter though, I'm already dead."

"You keep aging, you know. You'll reach a certain age and then your aging will slow." Lilith said, "Anyway, I was asking, because I wanted to give you something."

"Really? What?"

Lilith walked over and took Luz's cloak off. She replaced it with a blue letterman jacket. Luz looked at it and back at Lilith.

"Is this-"

"My old letterman jacket from Grudgby?" Lilith asked, "Yes. Yes, it is. I figured, it already has an L on it, and you're basically a captain for your little vampire pack. I just-"

Lilith almost had the wind knocked out of her when Luz hugged her.

"Thank you, Aunt Lily! You really make me feel like a Clawthorne."

Lilith kneeled down and put her hands on Luz's shoulders.

"That's because you are a Clawthorne." Lilith said, "You are my niece and... I've a lot of mistakes in my life. I can't make it up to Edalyn, no matter how much I try, but I can make sure those same things don't happen with you."

Lilith hugged Luz and everything was sweet... until there was a knock on the door. Lilith went over and opened it. She saw no one, but when she looked down, she saw an envelope with the Emperor's Coven sigil on it. It wasn't that uncommon, she is the leader of it after all, but this letter... was addressed to Luz.
