Lilith was on the phone, listening to everything on the other end,

"Yes. I know. I'll see you tomorrow."

Lilith hung up the phone and walked up the stairs. She opened the door to Luz's room and walked in.

"Well, I just got off the phone with Edalyn. She's run into some difficulties, so she won't be home until tomorrow." Lilith told Luz, "Are you ready for your first day back?"

"Not really, but I don't have much of a choice." Luz said.

Lilith grabbed her staff and Luz got on. They took off and flew towards the school. They landed in front of Hexside.

"Now, Luz, I will be back to pick you up after school." Lilith said, "Hopefully, your mother will be able to come home sooner."

Lilith took off and Luz looked at the school.

"Okay... I'm nervous." Luz said, "I can't just walk there, I don't think I can handle the attention."

Luz walked over to the trash can and went into the shadow. She jumped between shadows until she made it to the principal's office. She knocked on the door to let him know she was there.

"Come in."

She entered the office, slightly nervous. She noticed two other witches in the office.

"Ah, Miss Noceda! Boscha, Skara, and I have been waiting for you." Bump said.

"Actually, it's Clawthorne now." Luz said.

"Well, let's hope you take after Lilith more than Edalyn." Bump said, "Anyway, I've been told by the Emperor's Coven that there is going to be a new Coven, which means a new Track to study."

He made a spell circle and the Vampire's uniforms changed. Luz's rainbow, Boscha's yellow, and Skara's red track color changed to pure black.

"Well girls, welcome to the Shadow Track."

"The Shadow Track?" Skara asked.

"A Track designed to help teach vampires how to control their powers." Bump said, "These uniforms hold a special ability. They allow vampires to walk in the sun without getting burnt."

Luz ran her hand over it, feeling a small presence of magic. It was still weird for her, but her mom said that every witch can feel magic, and seeing as Luz can perform Vampire Magic, it only made sense that she can feel magic.

"Now, I believe you should get to your new class." Bump said.

They walked down the hall and into a new room... they aren't going to question where it came from. The room had small lights, heavily tinted windows, and a few desks and chalkboard.

"Wow, this is pretty well adjusted for vampires." Skara said.

"Yeah, so I guess we should just wait until the teacher gets here." Luz said, "So, Boscha, you dye your hair?"

"Why is my hair such a big deal for you?" Boscha asked, "Yes, I'm naturally a brunette, I started dying it when I was little. Happy?"

"I just think you would look very nice with your natural color." Luz said, "Cute even."

Boscha started to blush when the door opened. The teacher walked in and Luz recognized her.

"Hey, you're that Fanfic Prisoner I saved on my first day here."

"Yeah, I remember you, it's good to see you again." She said, "Anyway, I am your new teacher, Miss Night. A little about myself, I am a vampire that's over 600 years old. I was hired on account for my knowledge of Vampirics. Today we'll start with the basics."

In another part of the Isles, Lilith landed outside her manor. She walked inside and to her surprise, Eda was on her couch.

"I could've sworn I locked the door." Lilith said, with a suspicious glare at Eda.

"I picked the lock." Eda said, "So, where is my little bloodsucker?"

"She's at school."

Eda looked at her.

"Huh?" She said, "School? Why is she there?"

"Edalyn, there's a lot that's happened over the past two days."
