It's been a little over a weak since the introduction of the Shadow Track. Skara and Luz were in class, but Boscha was nowhere to be found.

"Now, we've gone over the basics of how Shadow Magic works, it's time we move on to the next form. Blood Magic." Miss Night said, "This is the magic where you control the blood in yours or someone else's body."

Miss Night ran a finger over her arm and a small cut formed, allowing a small stream of blood to come out. She moved her hand up and the stream followed it.

"As you can see, Blood Magic can seem amazing at first sight. But in reality, if you use it too much, you'll more than likely drain all the blood out of your body." Miss Night said, "Luckily, I am a master of Blood Magic."

"Wow." Skara said, "That's cool."

Miss Night smiled and started to morph the blood into shapes. She touched the blood and it climbed onto her hand. It moved up to her fingers and solidified, creating Blood Claws.

"That's way cooler than my Shadow Claws." Luz said.

"But Shadow Claws are far safer for a fledgling." Miss Night said, "Now-"

She was cut off by the final bell.

"Well, I guess we'll finish this tomorrow. Remember your homework is to work on a new power to demonstrate tomorrow."

Skara and Luz left the room and then walked out the front door. Luz laughed as Skara told her a small joke, when they heard a voice from behind them.

"Luz?"

Skara and Luz turned around and saw Gus and Willow.

"Friends!"

Luz ran over to them and hugged them.

"Uh, Luz, maybe you shouldn't give them a bear hug?" Skara said.

Willow and Gus were turning blue and Luz let them go.

"Hehe, sorry." Luz said, sheepishly, "Vampire strength and all that."

"Hey, have you guys seen Boscha?" Skara asked.

"No? Why would you want to know where she is?" Gus asked.

"She wasn't in class today; I want to make sure she's okay. She... she had something incredibly bad happen a few days ago."

In a graveyard, Boscha was looking at grave stone. She kneeled in front of it and looked at it with disgust.

"You've spent eight years torturing me and my mother. You hurt me in ways I'll never recover from. My only regret is that I didn't hurt you nearly as bad as you hurt me."

"Hey."

Boscha turned her head and saw Willow standing there.

"W-what are you doing here?"

"Luz told me what happened. I'm sorry."

"I don't need your pity."

"It's not pity, Boscha. I just want you to know that I'm here for you."

"Yeah right. Tell the truth, you don't care about me, you just came to mock me, didn't you?"

"No, I-"

"Why not? Isn't this what you want? For me to be hurt like I hurt you?"

"Boscha, I know-"

"Don't you dare say you know what it's like! You don't know what I've been through at all! You've been loved by your parents your entire life!" Boscha took off her shirt, ignoring the burning her skin was getting, and showed Willow her back, "Take a good long look. This is only a fraction of what he's done."

Willow looked and saw dozens of scars, short and long alike, but the most horrifying thing she saw was in the center of Boscha's back.

"Is... is that-"

"A brand? Yeah, that damn sperm doner branded me with the family crest... I was only eight."

"Boscha, I-"

"You know, I was a good person once. I was kind, I wanted to help people. Then he happened. I was soon a completely different person that didn't know what kindness was. I became exactly what he wanted. I became a shell of my former self. I hated everything, including myself. I even dyed my hair so I wouldn't share the same hair color as him."

"Boscha-"

"For my thirteenth I wanted a potion making set. I didn't get it; you know what I got? I got raped by my father." Boscha started crying and turned to face Willow, "Why do you pretend to care?! I've done nothing but hurt you!"

Boscha was surprised when Willow grabbed her. She was expecting Willow to hit her, her blowing up at her being the last straw, finally get revenge for everything she's done. Instead, she pulled her into a hug. Boscha started crying onto Willow's shoulder. She felt her legs give out and Willow helped her to the ground, not breaking the hug.

"Why are you being so nice to me? I've done nothing but hurt you." Boscha said.

"Because no one deserves to go what you went through. Had I known something like this was happening, I would've tried to help."

"I-I-I... I'm sorry for everything I've done to you." Boscha said.

"I know. Everything will be okay." Willow told her.
