Boscha sat at the table in the kitchen. She just looked at her hands.
"Mom?"
Elizabeth looked up and looked at Boscha.
"Yes, Dear?"
"Am I a monster?"
"What do you mean?"
"I killed my own father and I don't feel guilty about it. Skara killed someone and she's cried every day because of it. I killed my father and I don't give a fuck. Does that make me a monster?"
"Boscha, you had no choice. Killing to defend someone doesn't make you a monster."
"I don't feel bad. I honestly wish I could've done worse to him." Boscha said, "Does that make me a bad person?"
"Boscha, I wish I could help you. But I can't. I can tell you, you should find someone you can trust, someone that can help you be better."
Boscha thought about it for a second, before realizing something. She got up and ran outside. Elizabeth heard a scream and saw a burnt Boscha come back inside.
"You forgot the sun was out, didn't you?"
Boscha ran up to her room and then came back down in her Shadow Track uniform. She left and started to sprint towards the one place she might find someone. The Greenhouse at Hexside. She opened the door and walked in.
"Willow?"
Willow turned around and saw Boscha.
"Hello, Boscha, what can I do for you?"
"I was talking with my mom and she said I should find someone that can help me become better." Boscha said, "I thought... why not someone that's always stayed positive, despite everything horrible I've done."
Willow looked at Boscha. Boscha lowed her head and rubbed her arm.
"I should've known you would never help me, not that I would blame you." Boscha turned around, "I won't bother you again."
Boscha reached for the door handle and grabbed it when Willow spoke.
"Did you know, there's a plant that Vampires can eat? It has some kind of... blood substitute in it." Willow said.
Boscha looked at her as she walked up to Boscha. She handed Boscha a potted plant and Boscha took it.
"When I heard about what happened, I figured I could look for any plants that could hurt Vampires. That's when I found these." Willow said, "They're called Blood Berries. I figured I would try and grow a plant for you."
"Why?"
"So, you have something in case you start to go Feral."
"B-b-but, I don't know how to take care of a plant."
Willow put a hand on Boscha's shoulder.
"And that's the first step in helping you." Willow said.
"Y-y-you'll really help me?"
"Yes."
"W-w-why?" Boscha asked, "I've been... honestly, I've been a bitch to you."
Willow chuckled.
"There's a reason I'm going to teach you how to take care of a plant. You are like one." Willow said.
Boscha looked at her body.
"But... I'm pink, not green."
"No, I mean... think of it like this." Willow motioned her over to the work bench, "You see, a plant is like a person. Without the proper care, the plant will shrivel and die."
Boscha looked down, embarrassed and ashamed of herself. She was about to speak when Willow continued.
"But, with a little attention, care, and love." She motioned to a full grown, pink, flower, "They become what they've always meant to be. A beautiful, amazing, sight. One that will make someone happy on the darkest days."
"You... you really think I can be like that?" Boscha asked.
"With the proper love and attention? Yes. Yes, I do." Willow said, "And I'll show you how."
Boscha smiled.
"Thank you."
"Well, I just want to see the real you. See if there's something under your hard exterior."
"I don't know if that side of me is still here."
"If she is, I'll bring her out."
"Thank you. I really don't deserve this." Boscha said.
"I'll be the judge of that." Willow said, "Even the most hideous flower has a sweet side."
