Amity sat next to the Healer's bed. She's been there since Emira was brought in.

"Emira, please wake up," Amity said, "I never meant to bite you, it was an accident. Please wake up, I can't lose my sister."

Amity looked at her sister, laying silently in bed. Amity got on her knees and held Emira's hand.

"Em, I know we haven't always had the best relationship, but you're my sister. No matter how much I get annoyed by you, I'm proud to call you my sister." Amity said, "You helped when I told you about my crush, you helped me when I was sad, you've been there for me when I needed you. You're my sister and I love you, just please wake up!"

Amity looked and saw that she was still not responsive. Amity put her head on Emira's hand and started crying. Amity felt like this is all her fault. If she didn't bite Emira, then nothing like this would happen. She continued to cry until she felt her hand get squeezed. She looked up and looked at Emira, her eyes open a small amount.

"Did you mean it, Mittens?" Emira asked.

Amity felt more tears fall out of her eyes and hugged Emira.

"I was so worried!" Amity said, "I was afraid I wouldn't get to see you or even talk to you again!"

"Well, if Viney can't get rid of me, you sure as hell can't get rid of me." Emira said.

Amity just kept hugging her.

"Please don't scare me like that again." Amity said.

Emira put her arm on Amity's back.

"I won't." Emira said, "I promise."

There was a lot that needed to be explained, but that could wait for later, Amity just wanted to make sure she wasn't going anywhere. In another part of the Isles, Skara was handed a folder.

"Get that to your Primus, they'll want to know about everything in this." The man said.

"What about you?"

"What about me?"

"You're all alone out here. What if they come after you?" Skara asked.

"I have a giant bloodthirsty reptile, I'm doing good." He said, "You need to get that to your Primus, it will have information that they'll want to know."

He started to go back into the cave and Skara looked at the folder. She looked at him as he went back into the cave before turning around and sprinting away. She has to talk to Luz about this in school tomorrow. Right now, she needed to get home before her parents decide to ground her.
