At Charling Manor, Lilith and Eda were getting their gear ready. They may be more efficient for vampires, but it was all they have. The needed to get that portal, no matter what.
"Lily, you realize that you're about to attack your boss. This could get you Petrified." Eda said, "Are you sure you want to do this?"
Lilith knew why she was asking this. Lilith has a good future, a great job, and future wife and kids. This is treason, if she fails, then her life is ruined and she's as good as dead.
"I do want to do this, because if I don't, then the future of for my kids is ruined." Lilith said, "Let's go."
"Alright then." Eda said.
Eda walked towards the door.
"Wait, there's one thing I need to do first." Lilith said, walking over to Elizabeth, "Liz, the day I learned we were soulmates, it was the happiest day of my life... let's change that."
Lilith got onto her knee and pulled out a ring.
"Elizabeth, will you marry me?"
Elizabeth gasped, she was totally expecting it, but it still was such a nice moment.
"Yes! Yes I will marry you!"
Eda watched as Lilith put the ring on her fiancés finger. Even she couldn't help but feel happy that her sister found the one, it was nice that one of them got to at least. The two shared a deep kiss, which actually pushed Eda a little. They literally didn't have time.
"Alright, you two can try for a kid later, we have two worlds to save." Eda said.
Lilith glared at Eda, but knew she was right. The two ran out of the manor and into the woods, heading for the castle. At the castle, Belos and Fitz were on the roof of the castle, looking at the portal.
"Soon, everything will come to flourishing." Belos said, turning to his new soldiers, "Isn't that right?"
The Brood nodded, under the control of Belos thanks to a mind control spell.
"I can't wait to see that brat die at the hands of her own Brood." Fitz said, as a guard came up to them.
"The Clawthorne's are coming."
"Well then, let's see how well they do with their parents." Belos said, "And... the other surprise."
"Yes, Sir." The guard said.
They released the Clawthore Parents, and they went to go intercept them. In the woods, Eda and Lilith were almost at the castle, as long as nothing shows up, they'll be able to get there with no difficulties.
"Alright, we're almost-"
Lilith was cut off when her dad tackled her. Lilith was stunned at this.
"D-d-dad?" Lilith asked, "What did they do to you?!"
"Belos turned them into Ghouls!" Eda said, "Fight back, Lilith!"
Eda was about to go help, when her mom blocked her.
"Hello, Mother." Eda said, "I'm not afriad to kick your ass."
"Maybe you don't have to."
Eda felt a chill up her spine. She knew that voice.
"It... It can't be."
"Can't it?"
Eda turned around and saw... Raine.
"Hello, Eda."
This wasn't the same Raine that died, this Raine was nearly the same age as Eda.
"No... no it can't be." Eda said, "Rainstorm?"
Raine put a hand on Eda's cheek.
"Just lay your weapons down, Eda." Raine said, "There's no point in fighting. Just give up."
"Raine... do you hear yourself?" Eda asked, "This is the man that's trying to take over the Human Realm."
"Humans are weak." Raine said, "They lack the power to lead themselves."
Eda pushed Raine away.
"You aren't Raine." Eda said, "Raine would never act like this."
"Oh, Edalyn, you should know better." Raine said, "Without the Emperor, I wouldn't be alive."
Eda was at a loss, she didn't know if she had the strength to fight Raine. Lilith was in a similar boat, as she didn't know if she was capable of fighting her parents. Both knew they didn't have a choice.
