Chapter 5: Is This Love

A downpour. According to the dictionary, 'a heavy rainfall'. Yet for a battle hardened carrier, it was oddly comforting. Standing in the rain, its cold touch running down your skin as it soaks through everything. A darkened sky carpet bombed the island, letting out all it could onto the buildings and earth around her.

It gave a small bit of relief, as if all she could see was the same way she was. Cold, desolate, holding something back from those who see the surface. Or at least, that's what Enterprise thought. That nobody would see what's under the surface.

"Lady Enterprise!" Belfast called out to her. Enterprise turned around to a sight of the head maid running across the courtyard holding an umbrella.

"What are you doing out here?"

Belfast ran up to her, quickly putting the umbrella over the two of them. Enterprise felt her heart rate quickening, somewhat taken aback as she saw Belfast's breath in the cold. Their breasts touching together didn't help either. "Enterprise, Don't worry me like that!"

"She didn't call me lady?" "I'm not worth you worrying about me."

"You know that isn't true!" Belfast grabbed Enterprise's tie, dragging her back into the dorm building. "You're going to have a warm bath whether you want to or not."

Enterprise just pouted as Belfast continued to drag her, this time in the direction of both the study and the large bath. Belfast hurriedly stripped down Enterprise when they entered the locker area. Enterprise watched in bewilderment as Belfast untied the back of her uniform, instantly dropping it to the floor in one move.

"Is there something you need from me, Lady Enterprise?" Belfast asked as Enterprise continued to stare at the cruiser's naked form. Her ample breasts, her slender waist than conformed into thick, soft thighs. Enterprise shook her head, snapping herself out of the daze.

"It's nothing." Enterprise looked away blushing.

"Come one then." Belfast grabbed Enterprise's arm, taking her inside. The bath was massive, practically a pool with its size. Belfast slipped in first, sitting down on a set of stairs built into the pool walls. Enterprise dipped herself in, feeling the warm water replace the cold across her body.

She nearly fell asleep from how nice and warm it was. The only thing that kept her from not falling asleep was watching Belfast's expression as she sat peacefully, her breasts floating in the water. An odd feeling ran through Enterprise's body. While she enjoyed the peacefulness of the scene, she started feeling a tingling down her body. It matched up to what she had read up on human emotions, that this according to them was called 'eroticism'. Enterprise shut her eyes, trying to forget what she had seen. The next 30 minutes came and went, Enterprise somewhat confused how that much time had passed.

Belfast had explained how they had gotten casual clothes at one point, but the large shirt they had gotten for her only exasperated the problem. The two of them had moved over into the study, a fire softly roaring inside the fireplace. As Belfast gently lied her head in Enterprise's lap, Enterprise couldn't keep her eyes off of Belfast. Both because she had never seen the girl in t-shirt and sweatpants, as well as she could see Belfast's perky nipples poke through her shirt.

"You said I could ask you about human emotions, right?"

"Sure Lady Enterprise. What about these emotions would you like me to explain?"

"Well, I'm kinda tingly and my heart beats faster when I'm around someone. I'm not sure if it's just me eating better now or if it's something different."

Belfast chuckled softly. "Sometimes it's amazing how my master can be dense." Belfast got out of Enterprise's lap, and crawled up to the carrier's face, only inches away. "What you felt was love Enterprise. You felt love for someone else. And I'm glad that I could be the target of that love."

"How did you figure it out so fast?"

"Who else would it have been? It's not that hard to realize that we had something for a while now. But I'm glad you've finally admitted it." Belfast put her forehead against Enterprise's. "Want to go on a date sometime?"

Enterprise swallowed what felt like a tennis ball down her throat, but she had finally gotten over her embarrassment. "If it's with you than I'm alright with it…"
