A/N- this is a bonus chapter I wanted to do and this came into my head a few days ago. I wanted to do how Agnes and Alberto would originally meet. Let me know if you prefer this way or the final. Anyway ENJOY WOOHOO

The unconscious Agnes survived the dreaded story and landed on the inflatable raft. Once the storm was over, the large waves drifted her farther and farther from the ship.

Once she finally woke up, a semi-large drifting wave hits her raft and flipped her overboard, turning her back into a sea monster

A disoriented Agnes glanced around, trying to figure out where she was before she let out a shriek when a boat passed her by. Something told her to follow it, so she slowly swam behind it. Once the boat reached land, she saw some rocks and hid behind them, and then she slowly began to dry off turning her back into a human

It took her a while to walk but she took a few steps towards the town and once she got to the center, she was mesmerized. Her big blue eyes widened seeing everything around her, from people playing Scopa, people talking in a gelato shop, and little kids playing Foosball. Then a honk came her way

"Out of the way out of the way…" she heard a cocky voice passed by on a red scooter. Then a young man stopped and glanced at her, looking a little interested

"An out-of-tower eh…let me welcome you...Benvenuto Portorosso...Such a lovely lady, I love your stylish clothes…"

The young man pointed out Agnes' shirt and skirt, which she looked down

"Where did you get them...Such a lady like you shouldn't be dressed in rags…" then He kissed her hand.

"Rags…" Agnes whimpered. Then another man and his friends came over to the two

"Ercole, leave the poor girl alone...besides she needs a real man...not a wimp…" the man in the hat said.

One of the man's friends tried to crouch down to look up at Agnes but she quickly turned away

"Such beautiful blue eyes…" He commented.

"Black hair and Blue eyes are very rare around here...such a lucky man…" the second man teased. Then Agnes began to back away from them

"Please leave me alone…" As frightened as Agnes was, She tried to sound as polite as possible. Then the men draw a little closer to her.

"What's the matter, little kitten...afraid of big dogs…" Ercole tried to wrap his arms around her but she pushed him away. Then she jumped on the fountain to try and get away from them.

"Just please stop…" then one wrong move made Agnes slip and nearly fall but something catches her.

"Whoa whoa…" then Agnes locked eyes with a boy her age. His big green eyes enchanted her under this trance. His golden-brown curly hair looked so soft to the touch and his tan skin was a contrast to her pale skin. Then he slowly let her down.

"Uh…" then the boy began to blush

"Th-Thank you for catching me…" Agnes stroked her wavy hair behind her ear

"Hey boy, we were busy with her…" the men walked up to the two teens in a threatening gesture. Then the boy shielded Agnes behind him

"Leave her alone…" the boy gritted his teeth. He pointed at the men with one of his hands and gripped Agnes' hand with the other.

"Stop that's Massimo's boy...You mess with him you deal with the big guy...Let's go…" then the men along with Ercole fled from the two.

"Massimo?" Agnes asked turning to the boy.

"Oh yeah...He's my dad…" the boy confirmed.

"THat's sweet…"

"Yeah, it is...Oh, I'm Alberto…" The boy held his hand out

"I'm Agnes…" She smiled back taking his hand.

"Gentle hands…" He muttered. Then Agnes giggled at the compliment.

"So where are you from…" then Agnes looked up at Alberto and gulped

"Well, I'm a runaway...I was on a ship and a terrible storm knocked me overboard…"

"Oh, I'm sorry…"

"It's okay…" Agnes had her hands behind her back, looking down bashfully. "I never liked where I was anyhow…"

Alberto tried to think of something to say to her but then a train whistle was heard nearby.

"Oh, my friends are coming on a train….You wanna come with me…"

"Me...Sure…" then a rough voice cleared its throat, making Agnes stand completely still in fear.

"Alberto, Who is this?"

"Oh this..this is Agnes...I saved her from a little trouble…"

"And I thank him for it…" Agnes pitched in, making Alberto's eyes widen.

Massimo chuckled slightly, seeing that his adoptive son found a little love interest.

"Where did you say you were from…" then Agnes was stuck on trying to answer that question.

"Oh She's from around here...her parents aren't really around too much so she just wandered around here…" then Alberto turned and winked at her. Agnes mouthed out "Thank you"

"We should go, Luca and Giulietta should be here soon…" Massimo decided to walk ahead. Then Alberto then turned to Agnes

"You coming with us...Luca and Giulia will like you…" He extended out a hand to her. Agnes smiled and nodded her head and took his hand. Then the two of them ran together hand in hand, not knowing that something had sprung inside of them...something people in the town of Portorosso called LOVE.
