Ch 16 A Scary Situation

"Mother!" Vitani gasped, her blue eyes wide with surprise and fear when she saw Zira standing before her with Mchanga and two others lioness from Zira's Pride.

"Mother?!" Kion gasped, staring at Zira with wide amber eyes. "You're mother is Zira?!"

"Whoa not good!" Bunga cried out, as he and the rest of the group began to back away from Zira. But the other lionesses quickly surrounded the young animals, blocking their paths.

"I knew you were doing some sneaky things," Zira growled, glaring at Vitani, who gulped in fear. "I should beat you senseless right now you miserable shit!" Zira raised her paw to strike Vitani. But then she noticed Kion there. "Simba's son," Zira growled, turning and walking towards Kion, who backed up out of instinct. "Well Vitani it looks like you managed to do something right."

"Hey back off my pal there lady!" Bunga shouted, getting right in Zira's face. Zira let out a snarl and hit Bunga as hard as she could, sending the young honey badger flying trough the air. Bunga hit a rock and was knocked out cold.

"Bunga!" the other cubs cried out, their eyes wide with fear.

"Leave my friends alone!" Kion cried out, lunging at Zira. This act caught Zira off guard and she stumbled backwards slightly. But the crazed lioness quickly regained her composure and charged towards the golden Prince, hitting him hard in his face. Kion fell to the ground, the blood pouring from his head.

"I should kill you right now," Zira growled as he hit Kion once again. Kion's friends wanted so badly to help him but the other lioness quickly prevented them from doing so.

"Mother stop!" Vitani shouted, surprising everyone including herself.

"How dare you interfere!" Zira growled, whipping around and baring her teeth at her daughter.

"B...but he's worth more to us alive than dead isn't he?" Vitani stammered. "I...I mean you could use him as leverage against Simba right?"

"She's does have a good point my Queen," Mchanga said.

"Fine," Zira snarled, grabbing Kion by his midsection and carrying him off.

"Hey!" Kion cried out as he was being carried away. "Help! Someone help me!"

"Kion!" his friends cried out.

"Say goodbye brats," came Zira's muffled voice. "This is the last time you're going to see your friend." With that Zira and her cronies disappeared into the Outlands with the terrified Kion with them. Miwa quickly followed Zira after making sure no one was paying attention to her.

"C'mon!" Fuli shouted. "We're going after them."

"That's not such a good idea Ful'," Kopa said, pointing towards the river, which was filled with snapping crocodiles.

"Yeah besides we've gotta get Bunga help," Zuri said, indicating the still knocked out Bunga.

"Lets get back to Pride Rock," Fuli said, picking up Bunga and zooming back towards Pride Rock with the rest of the group right behind her. None of the young animals were looking forward to telling Simba what had just happened.

A little while later the group of young animals were back at Pride Rock. Simba and Malika were returning from patrolling. "Dad!" Kopa cried out, running over to Malika and latching onto his front leg. "Dad! Something terrible has happened!" the light gold cub said, his voice muffled by Malkia's fur.

"Kopa what's wrong?!" Malkia cried out, alarmed by his son's words.

"Kids what happened?" Simba asked, looking around at the group. Then he noticed the injured Bunga. "Fuli take Bunga inside!"

"Got it," Fuli said, dashing inside the cave.

"Zazu!" Simba called out.

"Yes Sire?" Zazu said, swooping in and perching in front of Simba.

"Get Rafiki," Simba commanded. "Bunga's hurt!"

"Yes of course at once!" Zazu cried out, taking off at full speed. By now Nala and Tama had emerged from the cave along with Naya and Cala.

"Mom!" Tiifu cried out, running over to Naya and latching onto her front leg.

"My goodness Tiifu what's the matter?" Naya asked, her hazel eyes wide with concern.

"Yes I'm curious as well," Cala said, wrapping her paws around her shaking daughter. "There now my darling it's alright," the peachy lioness soothed.

"Simba where's Kion?" Nala asked, looking around for her son.

"That's the terrible thing that happened Aunt Nala," Kopa said, still holding onto Malkia's front leg.

"That scary lioness Zira took Kion away!" Zuri cried out.

"What?!" the group cried out, their eyes wide with both shock and fear.

"Damn that bitch!" Simba snarled, her amber eyes blazing with anger. "I sware to the Kings above if she's harmed my son I'm going to kill her!" Just then Rafiki came onto the scene with Timon and Pumbaa right behind him.

"What happened?!" Timon cried out, running over to Simba with Pumbaa right behind him while Rafiki went into the cave to examine Bunga.

"Zira kidnapped Kion," Naya informed the pair. "And poor Bunga got hurt in the process."

"Bunga tried to stop Zira," Fuli chimed in, emerging from the cave. "But that's when Zira hurt him."

"Oh my poor baby!" Timon cried out, putting his arm over his eyes.

"Don't worry Timon I am certain Bunga will be alright," Pumbaa said, trying to sound as convincing as possible.

"Hey where's Simba?" Tama asked, looking around for her golden coated friend.

"Hey yeah where'd he go?" Cala asked.

"I just bet he went to confront Zira on his own," Malkia said. "Kopa you stay with your mother. I need to make sure Simba doesn't get himself killed." Without waiting for a response the dark brown lion raced down the side of Pride Rock, hoping he'd be able to catch up to Simba before something terrible happened to him.

Meanwhile Simba had arrived in the Outlands, out for blood. Only instead of finding Zira he found Shenzi. "Where the Hell is Zira?!" Simba demanded, getting right in the Alpha Female's face.

"Whoa there you'd better back the Hell off my Ma!" Janja growled, getting between Simba and his mother.

"Your mother needs to tell me where the Hell Zira took my son!" Simba growled.

"Look there Simba I ain't got no idea where Zira took your kid," Shenzi growled, pushing Janja to the side. "I had no idea she was even plannin' on takin' your kid. Zira don't run nothin' by me."

"Where does Zira normally stay?" Simba demanded.

"On the other side of the Outlands," Shenzi said. "By the Grasslands." Without saying another word Simba headed towards that area, determined to kill Zira when he got there.

Meanwhile Zira had arrived in the Outland with Kion in tow. When Tojo saw Kion with Zira his blue eyes went wide. "Zira what the Hell is wrong with you?!" the pale coated lion demanded. "Are you crazy?!"

"I told you what would happen if you called me crazy Tojo!" Zira snarled, dropping Kion on the ground. Kion got up and tried to run away but Zira quickly hit the three month old Prince hard, sending him crashing hard to the ground. Miwa was watching all of this from the shadows along with Kovu. Both cubs wanted to help Kion but didn't want to risk Zira's wrath. So they were forced to watch as Zira continued her relentless assault on the young Prince.

"Mother I thought you were going to use him to lure Simba into a trap," Vitani said, hoping to distract her mother long enough so Kion could get away.

"That would never work Vitani!" Zira snarled, whipping around to face her daughter. While she was distracted Tojo attempted to snatch Kion away. But Zira saw her brother's attempt and she let out a loud roar and hit Tojo hard in his face.

"Damn it Zira I'm trying to help you!" Tojo roared, wiping the blood away from his face.

"I don't need your damn help!" Zira snarled, advancing on her brother. While Zira was doing this Kion tried to get to his feet but the injuries he had received made that impossible to do. Kion's vision was beginning to go in and out and everything was spinning. Kion heard muffled voices all around him followed by what he thought was roars and the sound of fighting. Then everything went black.

A/N this looks like a good place to stop guys. Hope you all enjoyed ch 16. Review please and thank you
