Episode 4 Dodgebrawl
Last Time on Total Drama Island…
The Killer Bass kicked butt in the Awake-a-thon when Erica couldn't keep up with Jasmine, Causing The Gophers to suffer they're second straight loss. Garry orchestrated the first official alliance in TD history by convincing Shawn, Jonathan, Chelsea, and Donna to join forces with him. Nick convinced Shawn that his teammates were jealous; and that they would appreciate it if he gave them a makeover. Nick of course knew what he was doing, Nicely played Nick, nicely played. Even though Shawn's arrogance annoyed the team, It was Louis who got voted off in a tiebreaker due to Garry's alliance. What will happen with the new Alliance? Who will be the next humiliating walk down the dock of shame? Stay tuned for the most dramatic campfire ceremony yet on Total…..Drama…...Island!

Both teams had mostly gathered for breakfast. While the Gophers were mostly talking amongst themselves, the Bass were all asleep or falling asleep except Jasmine. "Nick," Chris said in a near mocking tone, "You look like crap man."
"Shut it," he replied.
"Jake was snoring all night," Evan explained. "We barely got any sleep at all."
"Another reason to get rid of that dork the first chance we get." Caleb said.
"Wow," Chris said, "Four nights with no sleep? How much are you hurting dude?"
"Wanna find out!" Nick said irately.
"No, no,it's cool. It's cool." The host said defensively. The door to the lodge opened up to reveal the aforementioned Jake. Several campers gasped at the mustache that had been drawn on his face. He walked past the Bass without noticing their laughter, then he sat next to Caroline who was also snickering.
"W-what's u-up?" Jake asked, wondering why they were laughing.
"Someone drew on your face dude" Lamar said as he handed him a spoon
"H-hey s-sweet stache"
Back at the Gopher table, Erica was talking to Allen and Ramona. "I'm so tired, I can't even feel my face." Then she fell asleep and slammed her face into the table.
"Good thing she can't feel her face," Jonathan said to Ramona.
"Uh Yeah," she replied with an irritated tone.

Jonathan - After the Louis vote, things have been incredibly awkward. Ramona, Erica, Allen and Molly have been distant with the other 4 of us for not voting to send Shawn home. I'm seriously starting to regret my choice, since I think Garry and Donna are the biggest threats in the game and need to be taken out.
Ramona - Of course I'm still mad at them! I talked to Shawn after the vote and he straight up told me that he is in an alliance with Garry, Chelsea, Donna and Jonathan. That means that the rest of us are gonna get picked off one by one, so forgive me for not being happy about the fact that you're gonna vote me off soon.

"Okay" Garry told his alliance. " I need to ask you guys something; How does everyone else on the team seem to know that we were the 5 who voted for Louis?"
"I told Ramona about our alliance," Shawn replied.
"Why would you do that?" Donna asked angrily.
"Does it matter?" Shawn replied. "We're already in a majority so who cares if they know about us being in an alliance?
"What if we need they're votes when we get to the merge?" Garry asked him.
"Then we can just rebuild our relationship when that time comes," he replied. Garry was about to respond but got interrupted by Chris.
"Ok Campers!" Chris called to them, "Your next challenge begins in ten minutes, and be prepared to bring it!"

(Dodgeball Court)
Erica staggered into a collapse on the bleachers. "Please don't wake me up," she said, "I'm way too tired to do anything."

Nick also took a rest on the bleachers. "Wake me up" he warned, "and it'll be the last thing you do."
"This is all your fault." Brena told Jake, "You and you're ugly snoring face!"
"I-it's a m-medical c-conidtion" Jake replied.
"I don't care," Brenda said harshly.
"Why do you have to be so rude?" Caroline interjected.
"What are you his mom or something?" Brenda asked.
"No, I just don't think you should be rude to someone for something they can't control."
"She's right," Jasmine said as she came between them. "Let's just stop this arguing and name calling before it impacts the rest of the team."

Chef blew a whistle to shut them up, then walked over to Chris. Both the teams lined up so they were all right next to each other on the Dodgeball court. "Today's challenge," The Host explained, "is the classic game of Dodgeball. The first rule of dodgeball is-"
"Do not talk about Dodgeball," Chrisitan interrupted. He got a laugh out of Lamar.
Chris ignored the comment. "As i was saying, if you get hit with the ball" he threw the ball in his hands at Evan, who caught it. "You're out."
Evan threw the ball back at Chris who caught it as he continued, "If you catch the ball, the thrower gets sent out and the catcher gets to bring in another player on the court."
"Throwing balls, another mentally challenging task," Christian deadpanned.
"I know right?" Faith replied, getting shocked looks from Christian and Lamar.
"Ok now, Allen try to hit me," Chris said while throwing him a ball. "If you're holding a ball you can use it to deflect a ball. But if it knocks the ball out of your hands," Allen threw the ball and Chris dropped the one he was holding, "you're out, you have one minute till gametime. Bass, you'll have to sit 2 people out each game."

"Ok," Jasmine said to the Bass. "We may have won the first two challenges, but we can't lose focus. Now who wants to sit the first one out with Nick over there?
"I'll volunteer," Christian said as he walked to the bleachers. "Now let's see you guys win this!"
Chris looked at the two teams: Shawn,Molly,Chelsea, Garry and Jonathan for the Gophers, and Caroline, Jasmine, Evan, Lamar, and Brenda for the Bass. "Bring it on Gophers," Brenda tauned. "I wanna show you that you'll never win a challenge"
"Oh you're going down! Shawn replied. "This face is gonna look as ugly as yours after this is up!" Jonathan and Donna facepalmed.
"Both teams ready?" Chris asked. "Best of 5 games wins. Now let's dodge some ball!" Chef blew his whistle and the game started. Evan threw his ball at Garry, but he dodged it. He scowled at Evan and threw the ball with power but missed him by a mile. "Wow, I'm really out of practice," he said.

Garry - When i was 10 i was the best kid on the court in all games including Dodge ball, I haven't played dodge ball in a while since my school banned it, but i thought i would still be good….

Molly's laughter could be heard as Shawn handed him another ball and said, "Dude! you're supposed to hit the other team, not the wall." Lamar ran up with energy and threw the ball at Garry, sending him back against the glass with a pained groin. Chef blew his whistle to signify Garry being out and the Bass cheered.
"I'm gonna go for a sneak attack," Jonathan said to his teammates.
Jonathan ran up to the Bass side and threw a ball Quickly at Jasmine, it missed. Jasmine picked up the ball with a smirk and threw it at Jonathan as he failed to catch it and he was out. Chef blew the whistle and the Bass cheered again.
Caroline threw her ball at Chelsea. Shawn saw it and with a call of "Chelsea, Watch out!" and Jumped in front of his ally. He was hit and another whistle sounded. Chelsea, now in possession of the ball, threw it on the floor.

Chelsea - It was so sweet of Shawn to save me from getting hit! I'm here to win but I wouldn't mind getting into some romance with him. It's also a plus that he's almost as hot as me, as in VERY hot.
Shawn - A man's gotta do what he's gotta do to get the Ladies attention. Chelsea is super hot, and I need to be in a relationship with someone who's at least close to the level of attractive I am.

Brenda ran up and threw the ball at Chelsea, but Molly caught it before it could hit her. Chef blew his whistle, pointed Brenda out, and pointed Eric in. Erica got up from the bleachers and walked up on the court...only to be hit with a ball by Lamar very hard.
"Ooh! Sorry," he told her.
"Oh it's cool," She replied, "Trust me."
Molly was very good at catching, and helped her team back in the game. It came down to Evan and Jasmine against Molly and Shawn. Both Gopher's threw they're ball at Jasmine, she blocked one but took the other in the stomach. Molly and Shawn started Evan down with smirks.
"This shouldn't be too hard," Garry told his teammates.

Evan picked up 2 balls and missed them both on purpose so Molly and Shawn would be distracted, giving Evan the opening to nail Molly and Shawn with 2 balls he was hiding in the back of his shorts. Giving the Bass the win.

"We can do this," Garry told his team. "We just have to play a little better as a team."
"You're one to talk," Ramona told him. "You did horrible last round."
Allen rolled his eyes and said "Maybe we should sit Chelsea or Garry out this game."
"What?" Gary exclaimed. "Why me?"
"Terrible aim?" Allen answered.
"That was a warm up throw," Garry said. "I can dominate this game, just give all the balls to me."
Meanwhile the Bass were planning for the next game. "Alright Christian" Jasmine told him, ``you're up."
"Okay, I'm going in,. just don't expect anything speculator". He told her.
"Let's go!" Lamar said "Onward to victory!"

Christian - I was gonna sit out for all the rounds since I'm pretty bad at dodgeball, but after thinking about it I don't think I can be as bad as someone like Faith.

Ramona, Molly, Allen and Donna had all given they're balls to Garry, much to the confusion of Lamar, Christian, Caleb, Annie, and Jasmine. Garry spun wildly and launched all of them. One hit Chef. One almost hit Chris "Hey! Watch the face dude!" he yelled. One flew towards the Bass bench.
"Hit the deck! Caroline yelled as all of them besides Nick scattered. The last one looked like it was heading for Lamar, until Christian jumped in the way and took a nasty hit to the stomach.
"Christian!" Lamar yelled in concern. "Are you okay man? Why did you do that?"
"I wanted to make myself useful, what better way to do that then to prevent the best player from getting out?" Christan replied.
"That is it!" Caleb yelled. "Attaaack!." He threw his ball and hit Garry. Then he stole Annie's and threw it at Ramona, somehow hitting Molly as well. Jasmine then just tossed her's to Caleb and he threw it at Donna.
Allen looked around nervously before smirking "Hey!" he told the 4 Bass. "You do know I have all the balls right?"
Caleb, Lamar, Jasmine and Annie looked at the ground and saw that Allen was right. "Eh" Caleb said unaffected. Allen threw the balls at the Bass in rapid succession, hitting Annie and Jasmine in the head. Rather than try and dodge, Caleb caught the one aimed at him. Allen was out; Caleb and Lamar won it for the Bass.
"Hey!" Brenda called to the Gophers. "It's 2-0! How does it feel to suck so much?"
"Not very good," Chlesa said.
"You shouldn't gloat like that" Caroline said
"I'll do whatever I want."
"Sorry guys," Allen said. "I thought I had them."
"It's alright Allen," Molly said. "But we need to win all these games if we want to win."
"You're right," Allen told her. "But it's clear that no one has the talent to beat them," He looked at Erica and added, ``No one awake, anyway."
"What are you talking about?" Ramona questioned.
"Look," Allen replied. "I didn't wanna bring this up cause she needed her sleep, but Erica told me she won a national dodgeball tournament last year."
"Is that a joke?" Shawn asked. "Look at how small she is, i don't think she can throw a dodgeball, let alone win a national tournament."
"I say we give her a shot" Jonathan interjected.
"Alright" Shawn replied while getting up in Allen's face. "But if we lose, you're the one that's getting voted out" he walked away.
"So are you gonna wake her up?" Ramona asked.
"Yeah," Allen replied. "I'm gonna talk to her and tell her we need her to win." Allen went to wake Erica up.
"It's so obvious he likes her," Ramona stated.
"Tell me about it," Garry said as the other Gophers went to the court.

Jonathan - Allen and Erica are about as obvious as Garry and Donna, but the real question I'll have to answer the next time I vote is "Who is the stronger duo?"

Both teams assembled their players on the court. Erica, Donna, Shawn, Allen, and Molly with determined looks on the Gophers side: Lamar, Evan, Caleb, Jasmine, and Brenda on the Bass side. Chef blew the whistle and started the game. Caleb and Jasmine both threw they're balls, but the Gophers dodged them. Erica threw the ball right on Caleb's leg as he tried to move away. Allen hit Brenda and Evan from the side. Lamar tried to hit Allen right in the stomach, but Erica jumped in at the last second and caught it. Donna and Shawn ran up to Jasmine as she dropped the 1st one and the 2nd hit her. The game was over.
Christian looked at the court shocked. "Wow, that was shocking." Jake and Caroline nodded.
"All 5 of us need to play the next game as well," Erica told the Gophers.
"Hey, you won't see me complaining," Jonathan agreed.
"We are not losing another game to these guys, got it?" Brenda told the Bass, "And where is Nick? I thought he was sleeping"
"Faith also isn't here," Caleb told her. "Maybe they left to have a makeout session" He said jokingly, `But Brenda was already gone.

(Docks)
"So that's when I decided I wanted to be a Doctor." Nick told Faith, both of them sitting at the end of the dock and watching the lake.
"Wow, that's so cool," Faith replied.
"Nick!" Brenda said with anger, "Why are you out here?"
Nick winked at her and got a wink back. "I'm sorry Brenda," He said as he returned to the Dodgeball court.
"Hey, you're not the boss of him!" Faith irrately said.
"You're right," Brenda said sadly. "Can we talk?"

Nick - That worked perfectly! Of course it was an act set up by me and Brenda. I don't even like doctors. Why would I wanna be one? We were able to plan this because of Jake's snoring, which I thank him for. I mean who do you think was able to draw that on Jake's face? I was awake this whole time, and heard everything. Brenda is talking to Faith right now and convincing her to join an alliance with us, using some sob story. After that we're gonna get Christian as a 4th cause he seems smart like me then decide on a 5th and 6th. Man, this game is so fun to play! Not to mention we set Faith up as a back up plan to vote off if it comes to that. Was it necessary? Maybe. Was it exciting? Absolutely!

(Dodgeball Court)
Brenda walked in with Faith and looked at Christian "So, how are we doing?"
"Could be better." Christian told her as Jasmine and Evan were knocked out.
"Just so you know, we should talk after this challenge"
"Alright," Christian replied.
"Ok this is it." Chris told the teams. "The final tie breaking game."
"We got this guys," Chrstian said.

The Gophers had huddled up. "Ok," Erica asked, "Who's going in?"
"Me, Obviously." Shawn smugly said.
"Gophers, Bass," The host said. "It's time to take this sample to the lab…. And see whatcha made of!" Chef blew his whistle. Brenda picked up a ball and passed it to Evan, who passed it to Jasmine who threw it at Shawn. He dodged it. Several balls were thrown and dogged from various campers until finally, Evan and Molly were hit. Evan tagged Lamar in, and the game went on. Jasmine tagged in Jake, and Caroline was knocked out. Later on, Lamar tagged Evan and Brenda was knocked out.
The game dragged on, several Gophers were thrown out and tagged in. Allen handed Erica a ball with a smile. She walked into the court and Shawn told her "Back of the court princess" While they were distracted, Evan threw a ball at Donna's face.
Shawn dodged a ball, only to be hit seconds later. Afterwards Allen was hit 3 times. It came down to Lamar and Erica.

Both teams were cheering at this final showdown.
"Erica's gonna mess this up," Shawn muttered.
"Na, she's got this" Allen replied.
Lamar threw three balls at Erica to reduce her chances of dodging, but she managed to dodge all 3 of them. The last ball Lamar threw was to Erica's side which she almost tried to catch at the last second, but stopped at just the right time when she realized the ball would hit her hand.
"Woah," Christian said.
"Time out!" Molly said as Erica walked to the bleachers.
"You have good skills," Allen commented. "I'm glad I woke you up for this."
"Same here," Erica replied.
"That was great!" Ramona exclaimed. "But do you think you can catch a throw from him?"
"Yeah, but it's not gonna be easy," Erica said. "Lamar has the strongest throwing arm here, even stronger then Caleb"
"I know you can do it, '' Allen said with a smile. "Now go catch that ball!"

Both teams were cheering as Lamar and Erica glared competitively at each other. Lamar shocked Erica as he was aggressive right out the gate and threw the ball with all his power as the whistle went off. It hit her in the stomach and she was thrown into the glass and launched over. The Gophers all gasped at the sight at then…. The ball rolled across the floor. Chef blew his whistle to end the game.
"The Killer Bass wins!" Chris announced.
"Good game," Lamar told Erica.
"We'll get,em next time" Allen told the dejected Erica.

Erica - I hate to be the reason my team lost….but i'm also the reason why we didn't lose 3-0 in the first place.

(Bass Campground)
Brenda and Nick walked up to Christian who was waiting for Brenda.
"I see you've brought your boyfriend," Christian commented.
Brenda blushed and Nick just smiled. Brenda snapped out of it and said bluntly "We want you to join our alliance, you in?"
"Yeah but we're gonna need 6 for a majority," Christian replied.
"Have anyone in mind?" Nick asked.
"Yes," Christian commented. "Lamar is a trustworthy dude and Caleb is someone else who could make this a 5 person alliance, we would need 1 more tho"
"Already got it settled. Faith is our 6th alliance member" Nick interjected.
"Ok, i'm gonna go talk to Lamar and Caleb, we should go back to the cabins before we seem suspicious" Chritian said. They both agreed and they went to the cabins.

(Gophers Campground)
Jonnathan was going to talk to someone as he was walking down the camp. He sees Shawn and Chelesa making out and Garry and Donna laughing to each other. He finally makes his way to where Allen is alone and sits down.
"Listen," Jonathan said. "I don't want you to go home, i want to keep you in the game"
"Really?" Allen questioned.
"Yes" he replied, "But you and the others are gonna have to vote who I tell you to."
"Alright I'm in," Allen said as he smiled. Jonathan whispered the vote to Allen and they went back to the cabins.

Jonathan - Either way i vote a group of people are gonna be mad at me, Erica/Allen and Garry/Donna are the power duos of this game, there's no doubt about that. Tonight I'm gonna have to vote for the person I feel is the biggest threat out of those 4 people. I'm very conflicted but the good thing is that I'm in the power position here.

(Campfire Ceremony - Gophers)
"Campers," Chris told the losing team, "You've already cast your votes and made your decision. One of you will be going home, and you can't come back ever. When you hear me call out your name, come grab your marshmallow. Shawn. Jonathan. Molly. Garry. Chelsea. Ramona. Erica. "The final marshmallow goes to," Allen and Donna both looked nervous being in the bottom 2. "Allen"
"What?" Shawn Yelled"
"This has gotta be a mistake," Chelsea added.
"Nope, Donna's out, Dock of shame is that way." Chris said.
Donna walked to the dock of shame where she was met by Garry.
"Get revenge on the people who voted me out" Donna told Garry as she kissed him before she sailed off.

Author's Note - This was a very eventful episode for sure. I know some of y'all are gonna question the Erica plot since she got hit so fast by Lamar, but she was very tired and didn't have her head in the game, she also wasn't paying attention. She also didn't really wanna show these skills to make her a threat, but Allen convinced her that the team would lose without her, so she went all out. Donna was fun to write, but she was mostly used this season for the development of others.
