Last time on Total Drama Island…
The Screaming Gophers continued they're losing streak. There were bruises, tears, alliances, and betrayals; and in the end it was Donna who was voted off due to Jonathan flipping on his alliance.

(Gopher Cabin - Girl's side)
"Impressive vote off Ramona!" Chelsea told her sarcastically. "Who did you get to vote with you?"
"It's kinda obvious" Molly told her.
"It was Jonathan, alright?" Ramona stated. "Now stop bothering me"
An air horn sounded over the loudspeaker, scaring a bird that had nested in it. "Alright campers, enough beauty sleep," Chris said. "Time to show us what you're made of!"

(Amphitheater)
Garry, Chelsea and Shawn all sat together in an amphitheater. "So, we're all aware that this is an absolute disaster right?" Garry said.
"Yeah, cause Jonathan had to mess everything up." Shawn said, looking at Jonathan.
"We're gonna need to change our gameplan, if we wanna make the merge" Garry commented.
"Sounds good to me," Chelsea said as Shawn nodded in agreement
"We need to get the others to vote off Jonathan" Garry told them.
"This right here should be the final 3!" Shawn said excitedly. Garry and Chelsea were in agreement.
"Erica!" Allen called to her. "I saved you a seat."
"Thanks," she said. Shawn scowled at the interaction.
"Welcome to our brand new deluxe state of the art outdoor amphitheater!" Chris announced. "This week's challenge is a summer camp favorite, a talent contest!"
"Sweet!" Chelsea cheered.
"Each team has eight hours to pick their three most talented campers." The host continued as Christian and Lamar shared a fist bump. "These three will represent them in the challenge tonight. Anything goes, as long as it's legal," He said with a pointed look towards Caleb, who snapped his fingers. "You'll be judged by our resident talent scout, Chef, Who will show his approval via the Chef-o- meter. The team that loses will send someone home tonight, so good luck."

(Screaming Gophers)
Chelsea blew a whistle to gain the Gopher's attention. "Okay, I'm team captain, so here's how it's going to work."
"Hold on," Jonathan asked, "who said you were team captian?"
"She did, just now," Shawn said.
"Garry, Shawn and I took a vote, and I won," Chelsea explained.
"Making them vote for you isn't exactly democratic" Jonathan retoered.
"Allen, do you have a problem with me leading this?" she asked with false sweetness.
"Sure, go ahead," he said.
"Good! Shawn, Garry and I will be the judges."

(Killer Bass)
Faith was in the middle of a cheer routine that was impressing the rest of the team. As she was Nearing the end, she fell on her head.
"Given your inability to finish the routine," Jasmine said, "I wouldn't get my hopes up." Caleb laughed.

(Gophers)
"...I do like green eggs and ham! Thank you! Thank you Sam-I-Am!" Jonathan finished and caused a silence.
"You don't really expect that to win do you?" Chelsea asked.
"You wanted me to contribute, I did," he shot back. "Maybe try sending the players with actual talent up."
"I'm gonna go anywhere that's not here" Erica said as she walked off.

"...Booyah" Christian finished his beatboxing and the bass, minus Jasmine and Annie chered.
"Man that is Awesome!" Lamar commented.

(Gophers)
Chelsea finished her ballet routine and an impressed team clapped. "Thank you," she told them.
"Chelsea should be one of our representatives!" Shawn suggested excited.
"Agreed," Garry seconded.
"Thanks guys," Chelsea said with a genuine tone.
"So I guess she's in," Shawn commented. "Why doesn't everyone take 5?" as the others walked away, he grabbed on to his allies and told them, "I've got something to take care of, make sure Molly and Romona are on our side in case we lose tonight"
"Alright" Garry replied.

"So besides Christian and Lamar," Jasmine stated, "No one here has any talents that Chef would like?"
"What about the cheerleaders?" Evan asked.
"I need another person for my routine and you all saw that Faith is accident prone" Brenda said.
"Well we gotta do something," Nick stated.
"I can do my weight lifting," Annie interjected.

Nick - Annie might be the biggest physical threat here, I'll have to keep an eye on her.

"I think Chef will appreciate your strength," Caroline told her.
"Let's hope so," Annie replied.
"Hey, let's talk" Lamar whispered to Caleb as he nodded.

(Gophers Cabin - Boy Side)
Jonathan was sitting on his bunk reading when Chelsea and Garry walked in. "Is this the part where you scold me?"
"Dude come on, why did you flip?" Garry asked.
"I saw you and Donna as the biggest threats on the tribe." Jonathan replied.
"What about me and Shawn?" Chelsea interjected.
"What about you two?" Jonathan asked.
"You don't think we're the biggest threats?" she questioned.
"Not really," Jonathan said as he left the cabin.

Lamar sat down on the steps of the cabin next to Caeb "Alright man, i consider you my closest friend on the island, so i have to tell you there's a 5 person alliance formed on the team."
Caleb was a little shocked. "And you're in it?"
"Yes," Lamar replied. "I hope you'll join, cause it'll be hard to trust the people in that alliance if you're not in it"
"I'm in" Caleb said and he dabbed Lamar up and walked away.

"Ok, so we got Annie's Weight Lifting, Christian's beatboxing, and Lamar's dancing. Jasmine told the team. "Let's go tell Chris we're ready."
Nick held Christian back. "When it's time for the show, you should go last,"
"Why?" Christian asked.
"You're the best act here" He told him. "It's better to have you as the finale"

Chelsea looked at her teammates, except Shawn, and said, "Very well, are we all in agreement that Shawn with his modeling act, me with my ballet and Allen's guitar playing will represent us today?"
"Fine by me," Jonathan said.
"Well, I'm gonna go for a swim," Erica said.
"Wait up" Allen told her, "I'll come with"
"Sure!" she said with a smile.
Meanwhile Shawn was in the Girl's cabin looking for something. Come on, where is it?" He asked. Then he finally found it. "Yes!"

(Dock)
Allen and Erica were sitting on the docks. "Sometimes I just need to get away from it all you know?" She told him, "It's like they're all driving me crazy." She looked at him and added, "Well, almost all of them."
Suddenly, Garry came running down the dock. "Cannonball!" he screamed as he jumped into the water and got Allen and Erica soaking wet.
"I hate this place!" Erica yelled as she stormed off.
"Nice going dude," Allen said sarcastically as he looked at Garry in disappointment who responded with that.

(Gopher Cabin)
Jonathan entered the door on the girls's side of the cabin. "Hey pretty boy, you in here?"
Shawn looked at him nervously. "What do you want Jonathan?"
"Just came by to bury the hatchet with you. And as a show of loyalty i'll even tell you who's the next vote"
"Alright, then give me the goods"
"It's gonna be Chelsea, Erica and Allen don't seem to like her one bit"
"And why should I believe you?"
"If I'm lying, I would put a target on my back since you would just tell everyone else that I lied.
Shawn thought it over for a few seconds and said "Alright, if we lose again, I'll vote for her."

Shawn sat down next to Chelsea."Hey Chelsea, are you ready for the challenge?"
"Yep," Chelsea said. "This is my chance to show my skills"
"I'm sure you'll impress Chef, you're great."
Chelsea smiled at the comment.
"All these ugly people are gonna be so jealous when we rock the talent show." With that he walked off.
Nick came by and said to her, "Charming, isn't he?"
"Yes," Chelsea admitted.
"I'm sorry there's something i have to tell you, during the awake-a-thon Shawn told me that he wanted to hook up with an ugly girl to see how easy it would be, he also said that he was gonna dump her at the merge and taunt them at the dock of shame. The worst part is tho, that he said you were the ugliest girl on the island"
"What?" Chelsea questioned angrily
"I'm sorry I've said too much."

Nick - Shawn managed to avoid elimination before, but if he survives this one then i know he's a part of a big alliance on that team.

(Talent Show)
"It's the TDI Talent Extravaganza!" Chris announced. "Welcome to the very first Camp Wawanaka talent contest. Where six campers will show their skills and desperately try not to humiliate themselves. First up for the Screaming Gophers is Chelsea!"
Chelsea waked onto the stage amidst the clapping from her team. She looked at the audience and saw Shawn who was there to support her, who was smiling. She got mad and did her performance solidly for the first few minutes, until looking at Shawn got her distracted and she messed up.

Chelsea - Shawn is the worst! Mom always told me that the pretty boys are usually the biggest liars. I should've listened to her!

Chris walked on stage. "That last part was horrible, but the first few minutes actually impressed Chef. Four points! First up for the Bass, make some noise for….. Lamar!
Lamar started his dance routine great. However, he slipped on the floor as he tried to go for harder dance moves. He stood up and tried again, but failed.
"That was…Something" Chris told him. "Let's see what chef thinks….not much, 2 points. So with Four campers to go it's the Screaming Gophers ahead. Next up on deck is…Allen
Allen sat down with his Guitar, "This one goes out to a special someone at camp."
They say that we've only got summer
And I say that's really a bummer.
But we'll swim in the sun and have lots of fun…
It'll just be the two of us…
Nothing to do… just hang…

"Nice work!" The host complimented, "I'm liking your style and so does Chef. Eight Points!. Allen sat there waking with wide eyes. "Alright, quit hogging my light buddy" Chris said as he pushed Allen off the stage. "Three down and three to go and the Bass are totally sucking right now. Let's hear it for Annie."
"I know I said I'd be weightlifting," Annie stated, "but I actually challenge Chef to an arm wrestling match.
"Huh?" Chris replied. "Oh i gotta see this"
Chef walked up and put his arm on the mat and had an arm wrestle with her, it was close for a little bit until Annie took a commanding lead and won.
"Ha! That was awesome!" Chris said.
"I know….so how'd i do?," Annie replied.
"While lower than i'd give it, Chef gave it a full 7 points." Chris explained. Annnie shrugged and walked off with a satisfied look on her face. "But it doesn't beat Trent's love song. So without further delay, for the Gophers we have…..Shawn
Shawn, still shirtless, sat down on a stool. "Originally I was going to model for you," he started, "But instead I wanted to get a little revenge" he held up Erica's diary, "With a twist."
Erica paled, if such a thing were possible, and said, "He wouldn't."
"Next time, don't mess with the best couple on the island." Shawn cleared his throat and read, "Ok, so i'm trying to ignore him but he's just so cute. If they custom ordered a distraction for me, it would've been mchottie. Garry gasped and Chelsea glared at their ally as she continued, "He's pretty much the only person I can relate to here and I know it's cliche, but I love guys who play guitar." Ramona sent a knowing look to Allen, and the others watched Ercia with pity as she ran off in embarrassment. "Thank You"
"Wow, that's so messed up," Faith said.
"Agreed," Evan told her.

Allen - Well now I know that she likes me, too bad she'll probably never speak to me again. Thanks a lot Shawn, first chance i get you're going home.

"Well then, no points for Shawn. Christian might actually have a chance to turn it around for the Killer Bass. So please welcome to the final act of the night…Christian!"
Christian stood in front of the mic and began his beatboxing technique. He started with some basic sounds, then he threw in some various words and some more complex patterns, slowly getting faster. He kept this going for half a minute before slowing it down and finishing it with a "booyah." The Killer Bass cheered, while the Gophers were in shock about the performance.
"Wicked beatboxing dude!" Chris told him. "You got a full nine points. And with a score of eighteen to evelen, the Killer Bass win!" The members of the bass congratulated Christian.
"I knew you could do it," Nick said with a sly smile on his face.
"And as for the Gophers," Chris said, "Pick someone to go home, and I'll see you at the bonfire."

Shawn - People thought I was mean to Erica, but who cares? All I wanted to do was make sure that my girl Chelsea stayed and nothing else mattered.
Chelsea - I had to vote with them, you did this to yourself.

Elimination Ceremony (Screaming Gophers)
"Kudos to you all for an incredible night of entertainment. Music, drama, and clumsiness. There is only 1 marshmallow left on this plate," Chris told Shawn and Allen. "Allen, you have been a helpful teammate your whole time out here. And Shawn, you're full of surprises. But reading a girl's diary out loud to the whole world, man that is wack. No seriously, that's really messed up dude."
"We get it Chris, just give me my marshmallow already" Allen said.
"The final marshmallow goes to…Allen"
Shawn got up in a hurry. "Chelsea, I love you!" then he ran up to her "I did this all for you!"
Chef pulled them apart and dragged Shawn to the boat of losers, "Meet me by the dock for a goodbye kiss!" Shawn said.
Chelsea met Shawn at the dock of shame, Shawn pulled her in for a kiss. Instead of kissing him, Chelsea slapped him hard in the face.
"Awww, my face!" Shawn cried. "Why would you do that?"
"Nick told me what you said." Chelsea replied sadly "How you think i'm the ugliest girl on the island and how you wanted to dump me at the merge!"
"He's lying!" Shawn replied. "Look at all the things I did for you! Why would I do all that for an ugly girl!'
"Mom always told me that the pretty ones are always the biggest liars, I should've listened to her," Chelsea said. "I also never asked for your help to stay in the game."
"But Ch-" Shawn started before Chelsea interrupted.
"Bye Shawn" Chelsea said as she left the docks.
Chelsea left without locking behind her, Shawn was crying as he got in the dock of shame and got sent home.

Jonathan - That was intense, I can't say I'm upset to see Shawn go.
Ramona - Bye pretty boy! It's gonna be much more pleasant without you.
Garry - Yeah the alliance is over, all that matters now is self preservation.
Chelsea - You called me ugly, but at least I wasn't the one who cried like a baby on national TV.
Molly - we had it all set up that Chelsea would be the next boot, then Shawn did something idiotic and was the new target. I just hope we finally win a challenge.
Author's Note - I'm not gonna lie, Shawn was by far my favorite character to write for. His arc was basically like Action Justin but shortened and without god-like powers. While he was a great character, this chapter was the perfect end to his arc this season.
