Episode 6: The Sucky Outdoors
Last time on Total Drama Island…
A talent show brought out the worst in our campers, it was awesome! Shawn decided to get revenge and read Erica's diary in front of everyone; Revealing that Erica has a crush on Allen. Shawn got his wish of saving Chelsea. He was voted off by everyone else on the team as a result, and got dumped. Oh and also Shawn got slapped by Chelsea before he left, it's not relevant but it is hilarious. Who will be the next to walk the dock of shame? All eighteen campers sat or stood as Chris explained the challenge. "Campers," the host explained, "today's challenge will test your outdoor survival skills. I'm not gonna lie, some of you might not come back alive." They gasped. "Just joking," he laughed before continuing, "all you have to do is spend a night in the woods. Everything you need is at your team's campsite," he held a couple of maps, "you just have to find it.` He tossed the map and some compasses to Nick and Garry. "Oh! And watch out for bears, lost a couple of interns in pre-production. First team back for breakfast wins invincibility!" He blew an air horn to officially start the challenge. "Well, off you go."
"Did he say there are bears up there?" Faith asked.
"Don't worry," Nick said, taking her hand. "I will protect you from anything coming to hurt you." Faith blushed at the comment, while Brenda glared.
"M-my P-parents ran into a b-bear b-efore they got m-married, e-even got v-video." Jake told his team. "Did you k-know that there a-are 40 bear attacks a y-year?" He asked as the team glared at his story. "Oh w-well let's go!"

(Woods - Bass)
While Jasmine was trying to rally the stragglers, Brenda caught up with Nick.
"Nick, what's with you flirting with Faith so much?" Brenda asked "We got her in the alliance, you can stop now."
"It's nothing," Nick said, "I'm just trying to be a good teammate and show my support." Brenda Sighed and nodded.

All the gophers were making good time getting to their campsite, except for Allen and Ramona, since they were distracted by discussing something else. "So, when do you think Erica will be ready to talk to me again?" Allen asked. "I know she's probably still embarrassed and needs time, but she can't ignore me forever."
"I honestly have no idea, even when I tried to talk to her she was dismissive and not very willing to talk" Ramona explained.
Confessional
Ramona - Allen's honestly a pretty cool dude. I wish I could tell him more about Erica since she won't talk to him, but she's barely been talking to me these past few days.
Allen - Ramona's a good friend, ugh…. I just really hope things will work out with Erica.

(Gophers)
Jonathan walked up to Chelsea and Garry. "Look, i know i betrayed you guys"
"Yeah you did" Chelsea scoffed.
"Well, i wanted to apologize for that," he continued, "I can work with you guys, you need the extra vote."
"Dude," Garry told him, "we're on a 7 person tribe, even if all 3 of us voted together it still wouldn't be enough numbers."
"True," Jonathan replied. "But with this Erica situation going on maybe someone else will be willing to vote with us."
"And forget you voted out Donna?" Garry said. "Sorry, I don't forget that easily." Garry walked off from the other two.

(Gophers - Allen and Romona)
"He sounds like a handful," Ramona told Allen with a laugh. Both were sitting near a blueberry bush.
"He is, but he is my brother so I can't imagine life without him you know?" Allen answered.
"Makes sense," her eyes suddenly got wide. "Uh, where is the rest of the team?"
"Wait wait?" Allen stood up and looked around. "Crap they're gone!"
"What do we do?" Ramona asked him.
"Look for the rest of the team," he said. "And hope that my brother's navigation skills rubbed off on me"
"Man this stinks!" Ramona exclaimed.
"Yep," Allen replied as he walked in the upward direction and Ramona followed him.
(Bass - Campsite)
Caroline looked around, "I'm guessing Chris wants us to find our food?"
"That's what it says here," Jasmine replied, reading a sheet of paper.
"Do you think he was telling us the truth about those bears?" Christian said aloud. "Could just be a lie to make us more scared out here."
"I hope not" Evan told him.
"Yeah it's probably just some scare tactics," Christian added.
"Lamar and I are going to look for food, anyone wanna come with?" Caleb asked.
"Sure, I'll go," Evan offered. "Not much going on here anyways."

(Allen and Ramona)
The two teens we're walking through the forest. Ramona looking much more tired than her teammate. "Allen?" Ramona asked warily, "Where do you think the team is?"
"I honestly have no idea," Allen explained. "It looks like I didn't learn anything from my brother."
"So we really are doomed?"
"Most likely"
Ramona kicked a plant in annoyance.

(Bass - Evan, Lamar, and Caleb)
Caleb and Evan were standing by while Lamar was fishing. "It's a good thing we got you alone," Lamar said.
"Why's that?" Evan asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Caleb and I want to form a three person alliance with you," he explained. "And since you seem cool we thought why not ask him to join? Right Caleb?"
"Yes," Caleb seconded. "We think you would make a great ally given your itelligence."
"What's the catch?" Evan asked.
"No catch here," Lamar answered.
"I guess I can't pass up a deal like that, I'm in."
"Awesome! I think I have another fish, so we should probably head back." All three boys walked off, not noticing Nick watching them.

(Allen and Ramona)
"It's getting dark," Allen stated. "We should wait till the morning before we continue looking."
"We wouldn't have to if you actually looked instead of wasting time" Ramona said angrily to him.
"I wouldn't have had to look if you hadn't held me up and got us lost" he pointed out.
"What makes you think I was the one who got us lost?"
"Please, you're always talking so much."
"I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd rather be around Shawn than you right now!"
"Wow that's too far," he replied.
"Well, I'm sorry for that. Are we good?
"Yeah"
They both groaned as they realized they were stuck here.
Confessional
Allen - This is the worst, at least i'm stuck with Ramona tho and not someone like Chelsea
Ramona - I'm gonna give Allen a pass cause he's upset about Erica, but if he talks to me like that again i'm gonna strangle him.

"Hey," Ramona said. "We're gonna have to find some shelter"
"I hope that doesn't take long to find, cause I'm kinda tired."
(Gophers - Campsite)
The 5 Gophers who made it to the campsite we're putting up well, they're campsites. Jonathan and Molly were putting up a tent and idly chatting. "So… how's life?" Molly said.
There was an awkward silence until Jonathan replied "Fine"

Molly - I can't tell if Jonathan and I are bad socially or we just have nothing in common.
"Did you know I'm an only child?" she added awkwardly.
"That's nice," Jonathan replied. " i have a little sister who bugs me every chance she gets"
Garry walked over to Erica, "So, what's on the menu tonight?"
"If you continue with that attitude," she warned, "we'll be eating pig."
"Hey guys!" Chelsea yelled getting the team's attention, "Look what i found!" She was holding a gray rabbit. It coughed a couple times and sounded like an elderly smoker as it did so.
"Well i've never had rabbit stew before, but I'm game," Garry said.
"What?" Chelsea asked, it's not food, it's my new pet. I'm calling it Chlesea Jr."
"So you couldn't find any food?" Erica asked and Chelsea shook her head. "Then it looks like we're eating grubs and barrys for dinner"
"Hey," Jonathan said to his team, "Where do you think Allen and Ramona are?"
"Probably got lost or something," Molly added.

(Allen and Ramona)
The two lost teens finally found some sort of shelter in the form of a cave. "There," Allen said, "I found us a shelter, now I can finally go to sleep."
"Co-" she interrupted herself when a bat attacked her and she screamed and ran, trying to get the offending animal away from her. She finally succeeded and sat on a rock, clearly shaken up.

(Bass Campsite)
Evan looked at the campsite. The tents were up and the fish were grilling.
"Hey great job catching those fish," Caroline told Lamar.
"Thanks, and thank Caleb for grillin em up for us," Lamar replied.
"How did you learn how to do that anyway?" Brenda asked Caleb.
"I learned in juvie," Caleb replied.
"I keep forgetting you're a criminal," she said.

Caleb - Yeah i was in juvie for a little bit, It's also given me other problems and issues that i don't feel like talking about.

"Has Anyone seen Annie?" Nick asked.
"Last I heard she was going to go pee," Christian said.
"That was over an hour ago," Evan realized. "Annie!"
"Annie! Where are you?" Faith called. A rustling from the bush caught her attention and she went over to it. "Oh there you are. You really worried us-" she stopped when a bear rose from the bush. "OH MY GOD!" The other Bass had either seen the bear or heard her and were all frozen in fear.
"Quick everyone!" Jasmine rallied, "into the trees!"

(Gophers - campsite)
The Gophers seemed to have an easier time at camp as they were mostly waiting around until it made sense to go to sleep. An owl did cause Molly to jump though.
"Relax," Garry told her, "It's just an owl."
"I know," Molly replied. "I'm just on edge about the bears Chris mentioned, and I'm worried about Allen and Ramona."
"If they're not back by now I wouldn't expect them," Chelsea told her.
"Aren't you a little worried?" Jonathan asked.
"Why, it's not like we lose anything important if they get eaten."
"Just two valuable teammates," Jonathan pointed out.
"Please, those 2 losers?" she asked, not noticing the glares being sent her way. "I might even thank the bear, did the team a favor."
"What are you–" he was cut off by Garry.
"How bout i tell a story to calm our nerves. One night, a lot like this one…
(Sometime later)
"…So suddenly they hear this tap-tap-tapping on the side of the car." as he finished up the story. Chelsea and Molly were the only Gophers who looked scared. "At this point the girl starts freaking out and even the guy's starting to get a little scared. So the guy turns on the car and floors it outta here. When they got back to the girl's house, she opened the door and screamed; because hanging from the door handle…was the bloody hook. They say this killer is still alive, wandering these very woods. He could be anywhere really, maybe even right HERE!" on "here" he brandished a fake hook and everyone present screamed, while Garry let out an evil laugh.
" You Loser!" Chelsea screamed. "That wasn't even funny."
"I beg to differ," Garry replied. "I just wish it was all on camera. Oh wait it is.
"That story was way too cliche." Jonathan retorted.
"Whatever" Garry said.
(Bassm - Campsite)
The bear was still hanging around the campfire and the Bass were in the trees."W-what do we d-do n-now?" Jake asked
"This is tricky, My training usually involves surviving a bear attack, rather than getting away from a bear."
"This is a disaster," Christian said.
"I'm drawing Blanks," Jasmine stated. "Caleb, Do any of you have ideas?"
"What, you think just because I went to juvie that I know how to escape anything?" he asked incredulously.
"Well, yeah. Brenda replied.
"You guys do realize that's stereotyping right?"
"It's probably only here because of that noogie you gave it on the first day, anyway" Brenda told him.
"That's probably not even the same Bear!" Caleb yelled.
"Hey ease up on him," Evan said. "He did make the fish for us." The bear then sniffed the fish and adopted a saliaving grin.
"And now it's the bear's," Lamar lamented.
"You know We still haven't seen Annie since she went to pee" Jasmine deadanned.
"What do you think happened?" Evan asked.
"When she's been gone this long a bear shows up it suggests that Annie ran from it and hid or she was attacked" Jasmine explained. Suddenly the branch Faith was on snapped and sent her to the ground. She looked and saw she was directly in front of the bear.
"Oh god!" Caroline said, "Is SHE GONNA DIE?"
Faith rapidly scooted backwards until she hit a tree, the bear hot on her trail. "Uh, good boy…" she chuckled awkwardly before screaming "Somebody Help me!"
The bear rose and growled meaning before suddenly saying, "We got you guys good,"
"Am I the only one who hears a talking bear?" Evan asked. The "bear" then took it's head off and revealed itself to be Chef.
"Didn't see that coming," Christian said genuinely shocked
"Why would you do that?" Lamar asked.
"What are you. Some kind of weirdo? Brenda asked.
"Chris read through his contract," Chef said. "It says that he can't interfere in a challenge, but it doesn't say anything about me interfering."
"Won't they just add that to the contract now?" Christian asked.
"Yep, so we had to get 1 great joke on you kids. Annie leaving was the perfect opportunity," he said before he got picked up by a helicopter with Chris.

Christian - I'm not gonna lie that was a good prank from Chris; Honestly I'm just happy that it's not a real Bear.

(Gophers - Tent)
Most of the Gophers were asleep in their tent, except for Molly and Garry "What's wrong?" Garry asked. "Gotta pee?"
"Yeah, but I'm scared to leave the tent," she explained.
"Sam here," he told her while holding a jar of yellow liquid.
Molly stepped out of the tent and crept around. She looked up and found herself face to face with a bear. She screamed and took off, knocking an ember on to the tent which burnt it up instantly. The bear left during the mini-fire and the Gophers glared at their teammate.

(Bass - Campfire)
"Look at that!" Evan announced. Yet another bear showed up. "Is that Chef again?"
"It's probably Chris trying to freak us out," Christian joked. "Nice try man."
"We know you're not a bear silly!" Faith said while poking it in the nose. The bear growled.
"I don't know Faith," Jasmine nervously said. "This one looks real."
"Chris did say there were bears out there," Evan reminded them.
"There's only one way to find out," Christian told them. He tried to pull off the custome's head and only succeeded in removing the hair from it's scalp. The bear roared in pain. "Yep, this one's real." Shortly after that, he screamed and ran, the rest of the team following suit.

(Gophers - Campsite)
"Great! Just great Molly!" Chelsea spa. "Now where are we gonna sleep?
"Hey relax, it's cool," Garry said.
"What do you mean it's cool? This is like the worst night ever!" one drop of rain fell on her head which turned into a downpour. She screamed in frustration. None of the campers were safe from the rain. Allen and Ramona were sucik in a cave. The bass were stuck in trees, and the Gophers sait in the rain while Garry held a large branch over their heads.

(Bass - The Next Day)
The campsite was in a slight disarray. Jasmine looked around and said, "I think it's safe, the bear's gone"
"And the map," Brenda added.
"Trees are not my favorite place to sleep," Lamar said.
"Tell me about it," Evan added.
Nick walked through the camp and told his team, "Regardless of how we slept the challenge is to make it back first. Since Annie's not here we need to go without her and hope she catches up before the Gophers get there.

(Allen and Ramona)
Ramona groned and woke up. "Good morning," She said.
"Good morning to you too," he replied. "You slept in quite a bit"
"And you let me?!" she jumped, suddenly alert.
"Sorry i thought i'd let you sleep more-"
"We gotta go now," Ramona Interrupted. She grabbed his arm and started running. Shortly after they left the bear from the Bass camp wandered in. He cast a questioning glance at the two Gophers and shrugged before walking into the cave.

(Gopher Campsite)
Jonathan started to wake his team up. "Guys we gotta get back to camp!" Most of them woke up. "Molly! stop cuddling with Garry and get up!"
She jumped at the statement. "Why were you cuddling me?" Molly asked him.
"You're the one who cuddled with me," he told her.
Confessional
Molly - I was asleep it meant nothing, it was probably a natural body response or something.

(Campfire Pit)
Chris was calmly waiting for the teams when the Screaming Gophers showed up. "We're the first ones back!" Molly said.
Shortly after the Bass showed up. "Dang, they beat us here," Christian lamented.
"Not so fast Bass," Chris corrected. "Looks like the Gophers are missing a few players"
"Oh man, I forgot about those two losers!" Chelsea said.
"The current theory is that they were eaten by bears," Jonathan told him.
"Darn Shame," Garry unapologetically said. It was then the two aforementioned teens arrived.
"What happened to you guys?" Jonathan asked.
"We got lost," Ramona replied.
"This is the worst!" We lost for the 5th time now!" Chelsea yelled as she stormed off.
"Wait, what about Annie?" Jonathan asked.
"Oh she's been with the team the whole time here" the host replied as the Bass turned around shocked to see Annie. "Gophers! one you is going home" The bass cheered and walked off.

Chris began his speech, "You've all cast your votes. The camper who does not receive a marshmallow must immediately walk the Dock of Shame, grab the Boat of Losers, and get the heck outta here. And you can't come back. Ev-eer, Now i can see you're all tired tonight, i'll just throw them to you." He threw the first one to, "Erica….Garry….Molly…Jonathan…. Allen. Both Chelsea and Ramona glared at each other. "Ladies, this is the final marshmallow of the evening." Chelsea smirked at her as Chris drew out dramatic tension. "Ramona"
"What?" Chelsea Yelled. "She just lost us the challenge!"
"Dock of shame is that way girl," Ramona said.
Chelsea marched off in anger to the dock of shame as she was taken away in the boat of losers.
