I reluctantly put my pants and underpants back on, then handed Caius his coat, which he had thrown over me. He got dressed again, looking less intimidating again.

"You must be tired.", Caius said and looked at me for a long time.

I yawned in response.

"Go to sleep," he said, kissing my forehead.

I looked at Caius in embarrassment, "There is something... I need."

"That would be?" Caius asked tenderly.

I pointed to the table where my few belongings were: "My tiger."

I saw Caius smile. He got up and took the plush tiger from the table. He grabbed it in one hand, walked back towards the bed and handed it to me.

"Thanks," I said, then lifted the blanket to lie underneath. I snuggled up to the tiger and quickly fell asleep.

When I woke up the next morning, I heard someone saying my name. Over and over again. Then I felt a touch. I was gently shaken on the shoulder.

"Rebecca, get up," Caius said.

I slowly opened my eyes and jumped in shock when I realized that last night hadn't been a dream.

I had the tiger pressed even closer to me and looked at Caius with wide eyes.

"Don't worry, I won't hurt you. I promised you that yesterday. I'll stick to that.", said Caius, "Nevertheless, I had a hard time waking you up. You looked so cute, lying so peacefully, with the tiger in your arms."

I was so embarrassed that I threw a pillow at Caius' head: "Stop it!" I shouted.

Caius caught the pillow before it could hit him and said, "I thought you might like to take a bath before breakfast?"

I looked at Caius and then realized I smelled a little like sweat. No wonder, after last night... I'd better do something about that quickly.

"Okay," I said, getting up from the bed, which I just managed to do since it was also twice the height of a bed from my world. I followed Caius into the bathroom, which was more the size of a swimming pool.

I stared speechless at the dimensions, I hadn't gotten used to the fact that everything here was so much bigger than in me. I cleared my throat and undressed, then slipped into the toasty warm water. Caius followed a few moments later and a side glance from me was enough to make him realize how intimidating he was appearing to me.

"I don't want you to be afraid of me," Caius said as he sat down behind me. I was now sitting between his legs, which were also more than twice of the size and length then mine.

"That oracle... was that a person?" I asked him.

"Oracles are the mouthpieces of the gods, if you will," said Caius.

"I see. It's cruel that such a fate was imposed on you," I said and sighed deeply.

Caius wrapped his strong arms around me.

"You are so gorgeous," he whispered to me.

"I think I can help you. Because you know, I'm no ordinary mortal," I said.

"But?" Caius asked.

"I am the daughter of gods. The gods of space and time are my parents and... that's why I have certain abilities. But I don't know to what extent they can help you with your problem.", I said.

"Just having you here is a big help to me," he said and I felt his right hand slide deeper into the water along my body... so I hit his left hand as hard as I could hand that held my right shoulder: "No, no!" I shouted.

Caius cleared his throat, then grabbed my hips with both hands and lifted me out of the water onto the edge of the pool. I gave a startled squeak when he picked me up and when he put me down again, he raised both hands in the air: "It's okay," he said, laughing sheepishly. Caius led me, wearing only a towel, to the court tailor, who measured me. The tailor wasn't quite as tall as Caius, but he was almost a head bigger than me. He had trouble with me because I was so small and petite.

"I want her to wear something in an hour," Caius said to the tailor.

"I will do everything in my power," the tailor said with a bow.

We returned to Caius' room, where breakfast was already set on the table. My few belongings had been put on the bed for it. The table nearly buckled under the amount of food that had been served. Of course, that wasn't entirely surprising. Due to their size, giants needed more energy and therefore more food.

"When I ordered breakfast, it occurred to me that I don't even know what you like. So there's a bit of everything.", Caius said, "Next time I'll know better, I'm sure."
